Mind speak: allows her to project her thoughts into the minds of those around her as a way to speak to them.

Background: Areesia was not originally from the Hidden Leaf Village. Her mother showed up unable to remember anything. They were going to help the woman, but when it was discovered she was pregnant they knew they couldn’t force her to leave yet. Over time the woman’s presence wasn’t noticeable and Areesia was allowed to grow up in the village. From a very young age she knew she wanted to be a shinobi. As she grew older so did her skills. Unlike most children, she was constantly out in the woods training something. She wanted to prove that allowing her family to stay in the village wasn’t a mistake. All she wanted to do was prove her worth. In that respect she graduated from the Academy a year early due to some previous training she’d gained under the critical watchful eyes of her secret training partner. Everything went extremely well, so well that the squad she’d been assigned to was allowed to take the Chunin exam the first time around. She passed. Only because she revealed a secret she’d been hiding since she’d been a child. A family jutsu. She knows nothing about it other than what she can do with it. She still has no idea who her father is or where he came from. All she knows is the ability could have come from either side since her mother still remembers nothing.

A few months after passing the Chunin exam they had a delicate mission which they had passed with ease. It was on the way back that they ran into trouble. In their attempts to save innocent people especially children the squad was torn apart. Their sensei died trying to protect them. Areesia had been captured and even though she’d told her squad mates to leave her they refused. It became their deaths. The one surviving member dragged himself and Aree back to the gates where he died. The young woman spent the next three months in a coma healing from her wounds. The wound that should have killed her left her unable to verbally speak again and she had to learn sign language as well as a mind speaking jutsu to talk to people. She keeps the jutsu in place at all times and if it’s turned off it’s a sign that she’s low on chakra. Now that she’s healed, she’s devoted herself to training. Even though everyone believes she’s cursed, she’s not going to let it stop her. She was assigned to a Genin squad temporarily so she could get back into things gradually and have more time to recover.

Any Notable Equipment: Nothing outside of the normal.

Any Specialties: Has a family (Kekkei Genkai) jutsu that she trains in secret. Through controlling chakra and concentrating on someone (up to two/three at most depending on distance) she can see their thoughts as they think them. Has currently been working on using the ability to control another’s thoughts by thinking her own thoughts and having the target believe that they are their own, though only one other person knows about the second level at the moment.

Any Distinguishing Factors/Marks: Small scars from training and the massive cut across her throat though most of it is hidden.

Other: N/A at the moment

So begins...

"E-Extremely useful?" Was he just trying to flatter her? As much as it was working, she didn't feel like she earned it too much. They all could have probably escaped on their own. She was just doing what she thought might make her useful. Though she did make it easier on all of them. Her lack of confidence in her own abilities caused her face to take on a little color with his praise. "Thank you, Maziro-kun." She quietly responded as she began feeling her arms stop buzzing around and having feeling return. She sighed softly in relief and began rubbing her forearms to help the feeling return. At the very least, she could move her fingers. Electricity wasn't something she was used to, that was for sure. Then Mazaro's voice turned... colder, more upset. Before she could react and ask him if he would be okay, Kazuo-sensei began talking.

So according to Sensei, the group who was hired to target Mazaro was within the Leaf... an inside job? That really didn't seem likely to her. And if it was the case, someone from outside of the village was hiding within it. Or maybe... Her right hand reached up to lightly touch at her eyelids. No... It wouldn't have been a member of her clan, would it? Denial was so much easier than acknowledging this truth. Besides, what would her clan want with this screwball of a ninja anyway? But the fact that he was targetted over a young Sharingan user did bother her. Needless to say, she'd be looking into this of her own accord when she had time. He was her comrade now, after all... Shaking her thoughts from this business from the time being, Kazuo-sensei called her over to interrogate the attacker. Why her? Her Sharingan was nowhere near the level of Itachi's to do that sort of thing... "You said you wanted to learn more about Genjutsu," he said, leaving Chika with a raised eyebrow. No, she never said that, but she wasn't about to refuse a teaching.

The basics of Genjutsu had been taught to her in the Academy, but witnessing Kazuo-sensei's Plague Technique first-hand was something else. She'd managed to catch the hand seals for this technique... perhaps it was something to practice later. Given the fact that it made this man cough up some information before dying of the illusion's power, it was certainly a technique worth knowing. Chika stood up straight, trying to shake the image of death from her mind a moment before pondering what information they were just given... "Masked man..." She didn't seem satisfied with that information. "Mazako-kun. Shiki-chan. Areesia-san. Please hurry and finish tying up these men. Their information was cryptic and they may know more." She was being uncharacteristically confident at the moment as she gave orders. "Kazuo-sensei, you and I can start getting these bodies to the village. Anbu should be able to get more information out of them than us Gennin."

She paced away from the village a few steps quickly, taking a deep enough breath to fill her lungs and lift her to her toes, then slowly exhaled it to a more relaxed state. "This isn't sitting right with me... Why Mazio-kun? Is it because of his Dragon Style techniques? If that was the case, why not just steal what documentations the Hokage have? That'd be more helpful than some under-developed Gennin..." She murmured this to herself before returning to her sensei with gusto. She crouched beside him, still at the body, and leaned in close. "...I don't know why that information makes it clear that this was someone in the village, Sensei..." It was strange to see the almost timid Uchiha acting so confidently, so deductively and seriously. "If you know something, now's the time. Our teammate was attacked and all of us were put in danger as a result. We're lucky it was just some small fry that even I could have dispatched..." Perhaps how she was putting all of this was rude to her superior. But he just told them all to be on guard, as a team. And for her team, she was going to ask the questions. Maybe the Uchiha police force was in her bloodline after all. Her eyes, though still the emerald green hues of her mother, were fierce in determination. She just couldn't shake the feeling of missing information in the fact that Mazaro was the target of all of the team members. Why not Kazuo-sensei, who was bound to have made enemies along his way as a Jounin? Why not Shiki, who could literally see spirits? Why not Areesia, given her Chuunin status and rather interesting list of techniques? And really, not that she wanted to be targetted, but she couldn't stop asking why she wasn't targetted. The Uchiha have been hunted and targetted not only by other villages, but even sometimes within Konoha itself for their eyes. What was so damn special about Mazaro?

A sense of calm seemed to override Shiki's pounding heart as the hectic battle finally came to a halt. The talk of conspiracies made her head spin as a singular idea stood out that the target was Mazaro? Could it be just a random attack to kidnap as many young ninja as possible? Or was it something deeper, like the young boy had suggested that the Village itself was pulling the strings. A horrific thought on its own as the Village was a place of security and protection as it had always been in Shiki's heart ever since her birth. Biting down on her lip as thousands of fears sprang into her mind, if Mazaro's idea held any water then there had to be a reason. Was it due to the mysterious energy that Shiki had felt before the attack coming from the boy?

But...Why?

Her thoughts were cut off by the quick orders from her Sensei to tie up the remaining living bandits. Nodding quickly at the command as she reached into her own pack pulling out thick looking-rope. A few swears came from her first captives mouth which was quickly shut as the fabric of the rope was tied just a bit too harshly around his wrists. Glancing towards an equally Mazaro as she called out hesitantly "So...that was impressive jutsu Mazaro-kun. You were very brave, maybe next time some of that will rub off on me..". The last few words were said in a distracted manner as her wine colored eyes widened as a small giggle reached her ear followed by the slightest pull on her hair. Gently putting her hands out in front of her as her captive glared at her, yet kept silent in fear of retaliation. The color of her eyes seemed to glow slightly as Shiki whispered "Come on out, don't be shy. I am sorry all this commotion woke you up..". A faint gust of wind ruffled her hair as a disgruntled looking..bug, pulled on a strand of her hair. The creature was the size of a large beetle with a large protective shell over its toros, six opal colored eyes looked into red ones as its sticky legs tugged once more on her hair. Grabbing a spare kunai from her belt, gently cutting off a lock hair much to the wood sprite's pleasure. The hair was held out like a bargaining chip as she asked quietly "I will give you this..if you stand still for a few seconds. I want to draw you..". The obsidian shell changed to a bright pink as the sprite merely tittered with joy as it curled around the gift of hair.

A few seconds passed in complete silence as Shiki waved goodbye to the odd creature as a flush of her own came across her face "Sorry about that Mazaro..I couldn't help it. There are so many spirits I don't know about yet..".

Their sensei was intelligent, but Areesia didn’t think they would actually find anything useful from the enemies around them. Anyone with half a brain knew better than to leave the grunts with anything that could lead back to the person who paid them. But she went about searching anyway. Like she had expected, she hadn’t found anything. That didn’t mean if she opened them up to her jutsu that they might not think about something useful. It would also be a great opportunity to practice the second level.

She listened almost absent mindedly to the conversations going on around her. Her own mind was a whirlwind of activity. Like the others she was trying to figure out what exactly was going on with the attack, but the one thing she didn’t worry about was the warning to the whole team. She had no doubt that if their opponents had come for Mazaro then if they hadn’t have been there the rest of the team wouldn’t have been a target. Of course, she also had no doubts that if someone had wanted her dead with this, the list would be easily compiled. She never should have survived her wounds.

Stepping away from the group to one of the surviving enemies, the Chunin opened up her jutsu. She felt the slight stinging pain that meant it was working before the thoughts of the man before her appeared. Most of what she was seeing dealt only with his pain, the fear of what was going to happen to him. Taking a deep breath, she pushed a little harder. She wasn’t sure how well this was going to work. Practice with a level two version of her family’s jutsu hadn’t seen a lot of use yet. Her head was already starting to hurt.

Think about who hired you. She tried pressing, but all she began getting was a jumbled mess. Finally the man’s thoughts started to settle. Aree wasn’t sure if because it was working or if she had failed.

…Masked man…

Was the only thing that came back through before the man she’d been pushing lost consciousness. The information wasn’t all that useful. The chunin sighed to herself as she left the man and headed back over to the group. Even though she had used her jutsu, her chakra had been steadily recovering since she’d let go of the paralyses jutsu.

Areesia opened up the mind link to her sensei as she approached him. No one had anything and all I could get was something about a masked man. She’d taken the initiative within her skill set to see if she could find anything else out. She hadn’t really been all that surprised when nothing came up. The second level of her jutsu wasn’t trained too much and it wasn’t likely someone was going to think about the person who hired them. Not with being in pain and unsure what was to be their fate.

What now, Sensei?

Mazaro just stood there. What they said....broke a part of him. Of course, he had not heard them because, you know, he was being electrocuted at the time, but to hear it from his sensei's words. All of this work he had done, to try and fit in...to gain respect...and people were still trying to get rid of him?

Anyone with extrodinary, highly trained senses, a connection with unusual energies or certain abilities might detect something flare up with him. One could mistake it for the emotion rage they could be feeling, but not just in his body, but in a strange chakra that seemed to flare up inside him. And for a split second, it might have even been surrounding him.

(This next part required a coin flip. It was between this part, and Mazaro having an extremely premature Nine Tails moment)

Mazaro then had an idea, and out of litterally nowhere, started to laugh. "Maybe they thought I was the forth Hokage's son or something? I am the only other person to master Dragon Style Jutsu".

Then, this got Mazaro thinking for a good bit. "You know, that actually makes sense! And it means my parents never did abandon me! They probably both died to the Nine Tailed Fox! Everything makes perfect sense! Oh, now all I have to prove it, it will be so cool!"

There was a good question now, which was more disturbing: Mazaro's instant emotional change, the strange Chakra that people may or may not have sensed, depending, or the fact that Mazaro's logic actually made sense....in some ways, anyways. Like Shadow Possession is really only known in one Clan's bloodline, it could be possible Mazaro's natural gift of Dragon Style was because the Forth was his father. The forth, who Mazaro already practically worshipped as the best Hokage ever.

"Yeah! Everything makes sense now!" Mazaro shouted, smiling. "Alright, now that we figured that out, lets keep moving!"

Of course, Mazaro was completely ignoring the fact that being the supposed son to the Forth Hokage did not make much of a reason to capture him, that said certain high ranking members, like Black Ops Jonin, would know this is not the first time someone tried to capture a genetic sample from a Hokage with great power before to use it for experiments.

"We got a mission to complete!" he shouted, having likely forgotten or simply did not hear several more questions or statements posed to him unless said loudly enough.

"… Masked Man", Shinji was unsatisfied by this answer however his humorous side originally developed as a means to fake emotion while training in ROOT quickly came up with a 'plausible' explanation for the situation.

Kakashi was behind it all!

Shinji chuckled slightly unable to contain his amusement, in reality however plenty of Shinobi wore masks; even Shinji sported one during his hunter nin days. Shinobi listed in the bingo book operating without support in enemy territory couldn't afford compromising their missions through the attention their identity brought on them and their teammates.

As a result the information was practically useless, but as he had explained to his students the ambush itself provided enough information in itself to warrant further investigation.
Shinji broke away from his inner thoughts and smiled at the sight of Chika taking charge. Some would have seen this as the usual Uchiha pride and superiority complex, but Shinji thought he had enough reason to see Chika in a different light then the broody stereotype.

"Do not worry Chika; I have already dispatched one prisoner to the village using my summons and a note informing the Hokage of our situation. ANBU will be here shortly, for now we will proceed towards our original destination unless we are given different orders.
It is quite possible that we are still in danger, however if I am right and the perpetrators of this attack are somehow involved with the village they will not risk a further attack now that ANBU are involved. My deductions are by no means the only possibility Chika, in reality I have no proof to back any claim. Call it a gut feeling or an educated guess".

Shinji nodded at Areesia and frowned at her similar lack of success, deciding to leave the matter in the capable hands of the village's professional interrogators. "If there is anything to be gained from these people, then ANBU and our interrogators will get the job done. For now we go on with the mission unless instructed otherwise, I will leave a few clones here to make sure nothing is disturbed before ANBU make it here".

Shinji blinked slightly at Mazaro's claimed ancestry, deciding silence over dismissing the unlikely claim – he had given the young genin enough cause for worry today after all and his ability to renew his vigor so quickly was pleasantly refreshing.

Nodding at his genin, Shinji made several last checks on the battlefield to make sure all the living bandits where properly subdued before leading his company onwards on their journey.

Their mission had taken an unexpected turn that was the simplest way of explaining it. The excitement from combat had worn off as fatigue seeped through her body. Muscles that she didn't even knew she had began to hurt, yet she kept her mouth shut. It wasn't due to physical movement that was causing the strain, yet the immense expense of chakra from calling upon the tree spirit. A shudder ran through her as the sound of human bones crushed under pressure echoed through her head.

Given the nature of her family's gift, death was something she would have to come to terms with. It was very rarely used as a negotiation tactic when trying to recruit the assistance of an unfamiliar spirits. Some were eager to share their stories, while others who had suffered more tragic deaths would instantly clam up and refuse to hear another word of persuasion. The refusal of a spirit was a blow to the ego more often than not. However, there were darker consequences if less friendly spirits realized that their Handler was literally a gate between the Human World and the Spirit Realm that it could be another chance at life. Possession in even minor cases was extremely unpleasant as allowed the spirit to use your body as a puppet of sorts with only willpower enforcing your own mind.

That was the dark nature of their gift. Anyone deemed incapable of withstanding possession would be shut out of the family's secret vault for the remainder of their lives. A few deemed this practice to merely make potential full body possession an even higher risk. When that occurred it was theorized the human soul was consumed by the spirit and it's body was merely a hallow shell. Execution performed by honored clan members, often family members was considered a way of reuniting the human spirit one last time with its' body.

Shaking her head of melancholy thoughts as she posed a optimistic thought to the rest of the group "Well now that is over. The mission shouldn't be any more difficult right?". The faint feeling of hope dared appear in heart as Shiki knew that her body wouldn't be able to survive another unprepared Spirit calling for quite a few days. A faint smile came on her face as everyone else seemed to be perfectly ready to handle anything that came their way.

Hmph... What her sensei said felt like a cop-out answer. She still felt like he knew something and was just keeping it under wraps. But for now she decided to let it go and shake her head. "Whatever you say then, sensei. I trust you." That was only half truth, but better some than none. "At least everyone is okay. I think I have some ointments if anyone is hurt. Mabuto-kun?" She asked him as she sorted through her bag. "I... oh dear." She stopped going through the bag and seemed to frown behind those glasses. "I... I forgot my ointment. I'm sorry. Oh, onii-san would be so disappointed in me..." She mumbled that last bit about her brother near-inaudibly, but her apology would be heard well enough. For now, she bowed in apology before looking at the rest of her group.

Areesia seemed perfectly fine. As always. She always just seemed perfectly fine... Oh, how Chika envied her in more ways than one. She just seemed so good at everything. Perhaps the girl's own insecurities were stretching it a bit, but there wasn't much that could be done about that. She'd have to get over it in time. Mazaro seemed just fine. In fact, his claims about the Fourth being his father seemed to put him in incredible spirits after just being attacked. She had to smile softly at his optimism. He didn't feel the need to think too hard about why he was attacked. He just made up some story to make himself, and maybe the others, smile at him. Which was honestly fine, so long as that flunkee didn't honestly believe he had blood ties to the Fourth Hokage, one of the greatest shinobi to ever draw breath. Shiki seemed tired from the attack. Were her abilities too taxing on her at this early an age? Hopefully that would pass in time, but it only seemed to enforce Chika's thought of her needing to be protected. She would really have to keep an eye on her... In fact, she made a note to cover the girl immediately at the next sign o combat. Chika could handle herself well enough. Shiki seemed unable to do that properly.

And her sensei... well, she couldn't deny that he was attractive. Never could right from the get-go. But he knew something and was keeping it from the group. The young Uchiha could tell this with ease. Was it for the better that he said nothing, or was he playing a game? Needless to say, if it was a game to him, he would get a long scolding by his student. Even if that were a bit inappropriate, this was her new family. She wasn't about to let herself get deceived and otherwise denied important, critical information that would affect the team's safety. She sighed and shook her head, turning to Shiki with an outstretched hand. "Here's hoping. But one should never let their guard down on a mission, whether it's an execution mission or a simple pet retrieval." Her smile was sweet as she spoke. "And we are a team. Don't be afraid to ask for help. That goes for all of you." Her personality just seemed to completely overwrite the Uchiha stereotypes. In fact, if they hadn't seen her Sharingan but mere moments ago, some might even begin to doubt her claims to the clan's name But she was good to that claim at the least.

Everyone else seemed to be fine, at least according to her mental checklist. Their Sensei was content to allow the clones to wait at the battle zone while they moved on. Fine, so be it. She would have rather stayed back, letting the genin handle the mission on their own. They could do it. No need to drag her into the current mess any further. But part of her was curious. Would another attack happen on this mission? Was the person behind all of this that determined? Or was it really just a type of ploy to get the team together?

Too many questions needed to be answered. There was also the matter of her upcoming lecture she didn't want to think about. Sure, she wasn't much of a team player anymore, but how could she be? A few dark images flashed through her mind of her old Sensei and the team she'd called family. It had been raining for a few hours in the area. Their blood had mixed with the mud at their feet. How any of them had survived was a miracle. A miracle, Areesia really wished hadn't happened. She'd much rather be with her old squad, but she was here now and nothing could be done about it.

With a small sigh, the Chunin adjusted her pack and fell into step behind the rest of the group. They would follow behind of their Sensei until it was time to make camp for the night. Then, she imagined they would get to talk more about the craziness that had befallen the group in such a short time as well as her own attitude towards the whole thing. She wanted to go out on regular missions again, ones befitting her rank. Of course, the battle that had just taken place wasn't something that normally happened to first time genin teams. Something was definitely going on. The inner curiosity was getting the best of her. She would stick this out until she had more answers, one way or another.

(well, since everything looks concluded, time to move on!)

As the group arrived at the small village, they only had one step left to completing their task. Deliver the scroll, and their mission was officially completed. Granted, they had dealt with a lot more then they expected, but they had proven their worth. However, as they were walking, a noise came from Mazaro. His stomach growled. "Huh. We better get this scroll delivered quickly, I need some lunch".

As he turned a corner though, he knocked into somebody. He was about to yell at him to watch where he was going, when he recognized him as a member of the leaf village via his headband. And whoever he was, his next words made it clear he was different from the others. "Ah, a fellow leaf Ninja! Mazaru, right?"

"ITS MAZARO!"

"Oh, sorry. I see you passed the exam though, congratulations. The only way to get that is to earn it" he said, looking at Mazaro, and then at the people behind Mazaro, his team. Mazaro was taken aback. Was someone....who wasn't on his team, wasn't the Third Hokage, wasn't Iruka, and wasn't Konohamaru....showing him respect? For a moment, he thought he might have a heart attack from overwhelming joy. "Anyways, let me guess, you are here to complete your first mission right? Run into any trouble, or has it been straightforward? Oh, and excuse me, I never introduced myself. My name.....is Kabuto". (okay, how many red flags did I just set off by dropping that name?)

"Well actually, we are just about to finish our mission. Some people attacked us on the road, and...." it occured to Mazaro telling people why could put him in more danger. "...and we have no idea why. Nope. None, not any idea at all. Not a one".

(Sorry its late, I fell asleep typing it last night. But wooooow, Kabuto just showed up early. I am sure you are all thinking up grand conspiracies right about now).

It seemed that there were few things that would distract Mazaro from his mission as Shiki trailed behind group as the determined boy marched into the village with a declaration of desire for food. Only to clumsily run into someone, a bespectacled Ninja made small talk with the young boy. Furrowing her brow slightly as the strange ninja began prying into their business and a loud mouthed Mazaro began pouring out a tale of their troubled mission. There was just something off as she briefly caught the man's eyes before feeling her face heat up from the keen eyes of the ninja. A shiver went down her spine as she bit her lip before asking loudly "Sensei, who exactly do we need to deliver the scroll too? I am sure the person is possibly worried and wondering why exactly we were so delayed..". The village itself was quiet enough, with only a few people out and about including laughing children playing a game of tag. Fatigue molded itself to her body as she longed for a decent meal and some rest, the team had least earned that given the difficult day that had occurred.

Even her chakra felt like it needed a nap, it made her wonder if there were any spots of spiritual significance. Given the fact that in the nearby forest she could actually see minor spirits there had to be something of special value that drew the creatures from the beyond. Now who would be the best to ask such questions..maybe their client would know the answer?

If Shinji wasn't a veteran Ninja, accustomed to conceal his inner-thoughts behind various facades, his students may have noted him sweat dropping at Mazarro's blatant and quite obvious attempt at evasion from his own account regarding the ambush.

'Kami... I have my work cut out for me with this kid" Thought the Jonin, Mazarro may be a talented fighter for a Genin; but the ability to fight was only one of many skills a Shinobi needed to acquire in order to survive. Shinji would have to teach all of his students, but Mazarro specifically the essence of intrigue or at least some subtleness!

Looking at Kabuto, Shinji noted that the other ninja didn't buy Mazarro's explanation ether, but knew best to leave it alone. Ninja of the same village where discouraged from inquiring after their comrade's missions, least they be captured by an enemy and divulge information they are not supposed to know. It was less an attempt to keep things secret and more a damaged control policy; if a specific Ninja was captured, his superiors could immediately change and reform whatever tasks or operations that Ninja was familiar with. If a Ninja knew about missions outside his own, the village would be hard pressed to guess what else such a Ninja could know.

Shinji was thankful to his white haired student, between the two of them Mazarro and Kabuto had distracted him form their mission.

"You are quite right Shiki-chan, our clients work by a tight schedule; we do not want all of Konoha blaming us for a failure in Sake shipments this week after all". Said Shinji, deciding to spill the beans on their mission's objective; his students would find out the moment they arrived at the brewery anyway.

Shinji had noted Shiki's relative detachment from the team. It had been a similar issue with her brother back then. Shinji didn't pretend to understand the way that family worked but he inwardly decided he would try to get Shiki more involved in the team.

"Our clients live in the village's outskirts, they are a very wealthy civilian family which produces most of the local sake in this part of the Country of Fire. The clients have relations inside Konoha, so we will probably be expected to stay the night and join the family for dinner. I understand if some of you just want to get home, but it would be rude to refuse the hospitality and I think we could all do with some rest".

Shinji looked over the mission scroll for directions and directed his team to the correct path, bidding Kabuto farewell.

When the party arrived at the brewery, they where greeted by the site of spacious rice fields as far as the eye could see and a few villagers tending to the soaked crop. Th brewery itself was an old establishment, traditionally built with wooden planks and a silver pointed roof. The clients where much the same as Shinji remembered from his own genin day's.

The Hashiwa's had been old when Shinji had been a kid, and now they appeared exactly the same as back then as if they could not age further. The bald and bearded elder accepted Shinji's vague explanation regarding an ambush without complaint, the civilian was used to working with Ninja and knew not to ask for details.

Meanwhile, a similarly old grey haired lady fussed over Shinji's little genin, insisting that they come into the house and stay over almost immediately upon noticing the cuts, bruises and fatigue the young ninja had been dealt by the bandits. Shinji was particularly gratified that nether elder showed Mazzaro any animosity, Shinji knew the kid was unpopular in the village for some reason but maybe he could enjoy the Hashiwa's famed hospitality and put his mind off assassination attempts for one night.
