FC: Kellan Lutz || The Assassin || Taken by SaxyLady15
He was born into a family of assassins and grew up learning the ways of one. The only problem he had ever encountered with this was having to keep who he truly is a secret from everyone else, especially the woman he began to grow fond of. He fears that she may find out the truth and grow scared of him or even turn him into the police. But even though he has these fears, he wants to tell her the truth regardless if it's against the rules of being an assassin.

Image
FC: Debby Ryan || The Girl || Taken by Aquamarine
She grew up living as normal a life as everyone else. She is a photographer for the local newspaper. She lives alone with her pet fox, which she has illegally. Her home is set in the privacy on a two acre plot of land that has been passed down throughout the generations. She is recently out of an abusive relationship and is still going through the mixed emotions from the separation. She picked up on smoking cigarettes and drinking a lot more than she used to but she isn't an alcoholic.

If you're interested in the role of the assassin let me know in the OOC or PM me.

ImageCarter sat at the bar with an alcoholic beverage on the surface in front of her, lit cigarette in her left hand, camera and photos in front of her, left elbow propped up on the bar as she looked through all of the photos she has taken of the president making his speech. She had to choose the better photo and hand it over to the newspaper tomorrow so they can get it in to the editor. Carter loved her job but it always took up so much of her time. She hardly ever seemed to have much time to herself these days.

"I really need a vacation," she spoke out loud to herself as she flicked her cigarette before taking a drag from it and returning her eyes to the photos before her. She sighed as she shook her head to the thoughts running through her mind, Obama for president, I swear people in this country are idiots. Just glad this is his last term.

The redhead finished her drink and set the empty glass down on the bar as she grabbed the attention of the bartender. "Refill please," she stated before returning to her work. Once her drink was refilled she took another sip from it and set it back down on the bar before taking the last drag from her cigarette and died it out in the ashtray in front of her. With a soft sigh she lifted her camera into her hands and began taking photos of the bar, of course with the permission of the owner. Carter has been going there for years taking photos and surprisingly none of the patrons or employees seemed to have a problem with it.

Michael nodded his head solemnly, as the woman sitting at the bar in front of him ordered a refill. "Yes m'am." He smiled slyly, and did his magic, flipping and swishing liquids around, and sliding the glass towards her. "No problem." He muttered to himself, and his mind was somewhere else as he pondered his next mission in just a few hours. He needed to hurry up and get home soon.

He was lost in his thoughts when a bright flash nearly blinded him, and he shook his head, his hand resting on his waist where he'd hidden a pocket knife. "Bloody hell.. " He moaned, and looked at her. "Can you at least turn the flash off that thing?" He furrowed his eyebrows, and squinted at her.

ImageCarter was surprised when she heard the bartender ask her to turn the flash off. She hadn't realized the flash would bother him. She looked over at him as she turned the flash off, "Oh, sorry," she stated before taking a couple more photos and turning her camera off and set it down on the surface once more.

The redhead let out a sigh as she took a sip from her drink and returned her attention to the photos, finally setting her mind on the photo for the newspaper. She slid the photos into her bag and set it back down in front of her feet before lighting another cigarette. Carter really needed to find someone to hang out with, meet people, she's beginning to get tired of always being alone. She needs some sort of excitement in her life.

"Tell me.." He shifted his weight on his foot, and leaned on the bar. "What's a little photographer like you, doing in a runsown bar like this?" He kinda chuckled at the wnd, rubbing his forehead, where there was a scar of a gash. "I don't think I've seen you in here. Did you know Matt, the old bartender?" He sighed at the thought of Matt in the supply closet behind the bar. "He was a good guy. I hate he got fired." He frowned a little, swallowing.

"Anyway, I'm.." He glanced at his name tag, pulling it into view from his pocket. "I'm Michael." He sniled, reaching out his hand.

ImageAfter a few moments of sitting there listening to nothing more than her own thoughts, she was interrupted by the bartender, leaning on the bar, beginning to speak. "What's a little photographer like you, doing in a rundown bar like this?" she heard him state, followed by a chuckle. As he rubbed his forehead, her eyes were taken to the gash upon his forehead, she immediately began wondering where it came from. "I don't think I've seen you in here. Did you know Matt, the old bartender?" he questioned.

The petite redhead nodded her head at his question, "Actually, I did know him. We were quite close. He seemed to just disappear after a while," she responded. "Anyway, I'm..." she caught that he stopped mid sentence and looked down at his name tag, pulling it into view. "I'm Michael," he stated as she reached her hand back out to him and shook his hand. "Carter," she introduced with a friendly smile.

Carter took another drag from her cigarette as she retrieved her hand back to her own bubble. "How long have you worked here?" she questioned.

"That's a good question." He smirked jokingly. "Approximately a year." He gave a canny grin, watching her puff. "What are you catching with those photos in here, anyways? Pardon me if that's too personal." He leaned on the bar, watching her until he went back to mixing drinks and sliding them down the counter.

ImageCarter nodded her head at his answer and took another drag from her cigarette before answering his question about her photos. She shrugged her shoulders, "Not exactly sure. From time to time I make collages of places in town, etc. and this place always seemed to make me interested. Not sure what it is about this building, but it interests me," Carter answered.

It was the truth. Even when she was a child this building would draw her attention and back in those days she didn't know this was a bar. This building had a history to it, one that she eventually needed to research, maybe that would cure her curiosity, or maybe it would cause her curiosity to grow. But either way it went she needed to research this place. Get a bit more information about it.

Back when Carter was a teenager she was caught sneaking into the bar with a fake ID. Not to drink like most teenagers, but instead because of her steadily growing curiosity about the building itself. She wanted to see what it looked like on the inside, what it felt like to be inside this building. But that didn't answer any of her questions, it just created even more questions that she has yet to find the answers to.

He looked around for a minute. Just wondering what she saw in this old place. "What draws you in? I mean, do you want to but it and make it something other than a bar?" He raised an eyebrow studying her. He was about to ask another question when a drunk man was stumbling around as he held onto the bar. "Give me another, bartender!" Michael shook his head. "Go home, Sonny." He waved him off. His phone started going off.

A text message appeared on the screen as he discreetly checked it under the bar.

"Target headed your way. Take him out nice and easy, M."

He chuckled. "My friend needs help to their car. Excuse me." He nodded and went to the man. "Sir, you need to exit through these doors. " he said politely. The man in his grip obviously had a few too many. Michael took him out the back way, where there was an alley way. He did a quick slice of his throat when another man came up. He took the body, and was driving off as Michael reentered. The alley was clean.

"Sorry. I got him a cab. Anyway, what were you saying?" He shook up margaritas to pass to a group of ladies.

ImageIt wasn't until he had mentioned her buying the place that it came into her head and it actually sounded like a grand idea. "I don't know. I think I might look into it though. This would be a nice building to have an antique shop. The building already is pretty old and as a bit of its own history," she continued thinking aloud.

The petite redhead smiled and returned her attention over to Michael, "Sorry, when I start thinking about things I tend to go on and on about it." She finished off her drink and stood to her feet and pulled a card out of her purse. "If you wouldn't mind, could you give this to your boss when you get the chance and ask him to call me, I really do want to buy this place from him, I see great potential in it," she added as she handed it to him.

Carter then dug in her wallet to pay for her drinks before handing that over to him too. "It was a pleasure meeting you. Have a nice night," she stated before making her way out the door, her heels clicking along behind her with every step.
