Build: Average, nothing too out there. Astra is not over weight, nor is she underweight. She’s on the same level as most people. However, she is also much more muscular than most.
Hair Color: Astra’s hair is a gradient that begins with an electric blue and fades into a deep cerulean color.
Eye Color: Apple Green
Scars/Tattoos/Piercings: Astra has many deep scars, mainly on her back, but she keeps them hidden with her cloths.
Description: Astra is a fair skinned maiden with an average build, but also muscular. She has large eyes that seem too deep for anyone to see what lies behind them. She has pale lips that never curve into a smile and ivory cheeks that never seem to blush. Astra shows little to no emotion in front of people. She has an intimidating look to her at times because of how robotic she can appear to be. Astra’s hair sticks out more than anything. The bright gradient catches most people’s eyes and it is hard to keep their eyes off of a girl with such a strange hair color. However, it is natural. Her mother thought it had something to do with the girl’s strange powers. She seemed to think the two were related.

Preferred Clothing: Armor. Astra loves anything with armor. She also wears mainly grey scale clothing. It’s rare for her to wear anything other than greys, whites, blacks or silvers.

MENTALITY
Oddities: Astra is pretty much a loner and very anti-social. It is almost rare to hear her talk. She uses her actions to speak more than actual words. Even though she doesn’t like people, she can’t stand to see people in pain or to be in pain, but she doesn’t like people either. Also, she has a habit of messing with any electrical current around her for entertainment.
Skills: Very observant and good with geography, Astra can easily navigate around places. She can easily spot landmarks and tell when she has been someplace before and find things in relationship to that location.

Likes: There aren’t many things that Astra likes… The main things she enjoys are solitude and quiet. Even though Astra loves quiet, she also loves storms. Other than that, she doesn’t have a particularly fond opinion of anything.
Dislikes: People. Astra really dislikes people. People take everything away from her and cause all her pain. Astra also hates loud noises. They make her tense. More than anything, Astra dislikes the “Gods.” After what they did to her, she will do anything to expose them. Other than that, Astra also doesn’t have a particularly bad opinion of anything. She just doesn’t seem to care.
Hobbies:Pacing, watching nature or storms, physical training, meditation

Phobia(s): Hematophobia- the fear of blood and the fear of losing another loved one.
Personality: Astra is by no means a bright and cheery girl, nor is she bubbly. Astra isn’t particularly hot-headed either. She’s also no cry baby. Typically, Astra is very numb. Under her numbness, there is a sadness about her… A deep hidden pain she pushes away and bottles up. The bottles up pain brings her nightmares and Astra may wake up crying, but she’d never let anyone see her cry.

Because of her past, Astra is afraid of liking people. The only people she has ever liked in life either died or betrayed her in the worst ways possible. As a result, Astra feels that close relationships with people only bring pain and are pointless.

Astra tends to lurk in the shadows. The shadows hide her from onlookers so she can do what she needs to do without being noticed. Astra isn’t exactly shy though. She’s not afraid to go up and talk to a person when the need arises. She just despises doing so.

Secretly Astra wants someone to be by her side… A friend. However, she would never admit so. She pretends that relationships only hurt people and she fears losing another person close to her. You can’t lose anyone who’s not there, right?

Sometimes things happen that cause Astra to lose control of her emotions and they run wild… Typically in life-threatening circumstances or after a nightmare. In the life threatening circumstance, she could have a sudden burst of rage. Nightmares cause more fear, sorrow and anguish. No one knows of this side of her yet… Other that Astra herself.

Like many people, Astra has a goal. After what one of the “Gods” did to her, Astra has made it her calling to find and expose all of them as she did the one who ruined her life and destroyed her trust. What he did to her washed her even of herself. Not wanting anyone else to undergo that kind of torture, Astra decides to make it known to the world what these “Gods” really are… And what they do. However, she also does what she can to insure that people do not kill the “Gods” needlessly, for she doesn’t want them to make the same mistake she and her people did… They must live with the regret forever more.

COMBAT
Weapon:Tonfa are Astra’s weapon of choice.

Fighting Style: Astra focuses strongly on offense. After all, “The best defense is a good offense, right?” Not exactly. Actually, she focuses so much on getting obstacles out of her way that she does not block. Her defense is very lacking.

Abilities: Astra can control electricity. She can cause electrical over loads, create electrical currents and destroy them. She can even electrocute people and control the electrical current within people so that if a person’s heart had recently stopped beating she can get it started again. However, she cannot heal a person’s wounds, she cannot save someone whose heart stopped beating more than two minutes ago and she cannot bring anyone back that she has electrocuted and she cannot electrocute someone she has previously saved. She can only shock them or stun them. Not wanting any regrets, Astra typically chooses not to electrocute people at all.

Family:Mother: Deceased. Rosella Bronach was Astra’s mother. Rosella was murdered when Astra was 7 years old. Astra and her mother were very close. Astra clung to Rosella at all times. Rosella did everything she could to keep Astra’s power a secret. It was obvious to her that is Astra’s power became known her beloved daughter would either be brainwashed to use her powers against people or murdered for them. Either way, Rosella wanted her daughter to live a happy and free life, as any mother would.

Father: Unknown. Rosella’s husband left her when Astra was still an infant. It is believed that he either passed on or could not handle the responsibility of having a young one to look after.no one truly knows what happened to him. Astra no longer remembers his name.
Personal History: From the time Astra was born, Rosella could tell her daughter was special. For a long time, she didn’t know how but eventually she discovered that her daughter had strange powers… Powers that could threaten the “Gods.” As a result, it was decided that Astra’s powers must be kept a secret.

It was a custom in their city to bring offerings to the “God,” Cynefrid, once every month. When each child reaches the age of 7, they must come with their parents to give offerings. On Astra’s first visit to the temple, her powers went wild! She had never been around electronics and had no control over her abilities. Her secret was out.

Instead of executing little Astra, Cynefrid seemed sympathetic. He didn’t even try to take her away from her mother. There seemed to be only sympathy in his eyes… It seemed as though he understood what Astra was going through.

When Rosella decided it best not to confine Astra as much, for there wasn’t any danger anymore, she fell deeply ill. It wasn’t long before Rosella left the world of the living.

Alone and tormented, Astra was left with no family at all. She could not run to her father, she had no grandparents that she knew of or anyone else, for that matter… Fear swept over the girl. She didn’t know how to take care of herself. All she could do was cry…

A hand reached out for the lonely child… Cynefrid brought her into his care. Every day he treated her with kindness and understanding. He raised her and taught her many things about the world… He taught her about the ancient technology that helped him acquire his status. Cynfrid told her that one day she would inherit his status and rule over the people. She became his daughter. He taught her to be just like him in every way and to use her powers to control the machinery. Astra would be the most powerful “God” of them all with her abilities. She aspired to fulfill his expectations. He was so kind to her. It was the least she could do to give back to him.

Slowly, Astra began to pick up on signs she hadn’t seen before… She watched him as he forced people who couldn’t afford to give him offerings to sacrifice everything for him… She also overheard stories… Stories about him killing Rosella, her mother. They spoke ill of Astra’s dear mother, speaking of her like lowly dirt. For a long time, Astra just debunked them as mere rumours. People talk… That doesn’t make their words true. Slowly, the rumors wormed their way into Astra’s mind and she began to wonder if these rumors were a little more that false words. Every moment she grew more and more sick as she thought about it… To have been raised by her mother’s murderer? Poisoned by the person she trusted most? Was power truly all he cared about?

Eventually, Astra decided to confront Cynefred. If he was innocent, everything would be alright. If he was guilty, she would know and he would pay.

When Astra questioned her guardian, his face contorted. It took a few moments for him to shove the horrible expression down and bring back the person that Astra knew… He assured his daughter that he would never do anything so despicable. However, his voice wasn’t the typical warm, friendly voice that she knew… It was cold and calculating. It was a side Astra had yet to see. Perhaps it was because she accused him of murder. Anyone would be upset about that… But Cynefred did not seem shocked at her or mad at the idea… He just seemed to be calculating her; cautious of what he should say.

Astra pressed further. When she pressed further, she did so strategically. Cynefred taught her quite a bit about strategy… She made it seem as though she was grateful to him for all she would inherit and that she would forgive him for murdering her mother. At this, Cynefred cackled. He spoke of how pleased he was with himself for making Astra his true daughter, just like him in every way. He confessed to the murder without a hint of regret.

It didn’t take even a minute for everything to sink in. Astra was on a rampage. She extracted her revenge on Cynefred. She destroyed all of his machinery, exposing the fact that he was a human. She watched as the townspeople who worshiped him and trusted him murdered him in cold blood. Astra watched it all and if it weren’t for her, he would still be alive using people as he used her… The man she once called “Father.”

Revenge was not sweet. Astra would not take another human life unnecessarily. The blood forever stained her mind… Her hands would never be clean and she would never be the innocent girl she once was. Regret washed over her…

Astra would be different from Cynefred… His goal was to make her the same as him, but she would not allow it. She had to change. It was then she decided to expose the gods, but never to allow them to be murdered while in her presence. She would warn the people not to kill them, but to give them a second chance. After that, the “God” would be at the people’s mercy. They had to make the decision as to what to do with the “God” themselves.

Astra couldn’t live with herself for assisting in the murder of a man or trusting her mother’s killer… Eventually, she had to wash away her emotions… To lock them up to keep herself alive.
