Haley

"Ughhhhhh" she verbalized after the puking had stopped. She barely heard what Griffin had said to her. 'Does he know it's me? she wondered. 'Probably not if he's being all flirty flirty' a weak smirk slid onto her face. "Oh yeah, I only get drunk at the best parties" she said softly. She knew he'd have to be shocked that it was her. She wasn't a partier and he knew that. "Where's the bathroom?" she asked, as nonchalantly as possible. She wanted to take a shower but she wasn't going to tell him that. Her house was too far away to walk to and she wasn't going to go back to the hospital smelling like tequila and vomit.

She had forgotten about the large bruise encircling her eye for awhile. It stopped throbbing, and the nausea took precedence. The sun was still beating on her face so she stepped back inside. 'He would've figured out it was me anyway.' she thought. She stood awkwardly in front of him and waited for him to tell her where the bathroom was.

Griffin Bailey
"Oh yeah, I only get drunk at the best parties" Griff frowned slightly, he definitely knew that voice. The only question was, what was she doing here, puking up her guts? This was definitely not her scene, besides he couldn't remember her being around last night, well not of what he could remember of last night. "Where's the bathroom?" Haley asked before he had the chance to voice any of his thoughts. He looked at her for a moment frowning at the large bruise around her eye, though he decided it was probably just some funny drunken accident. It was definitely easier not to care

Shaking off the surprise of being caught off guard by Haley's presence though a sly grin made it's way onto his face. "Sorry princess, but the last time we talked, we didn't exactly depart on friendly term, so why would I tell you?" He said sarcastically with a friendly wink at the end. Surprisingly for him though he tone on demeanor never once border on flirty. "Besides aren't there some elderly somewhere who need to be read to?" Griff continued before he turned around and made his was to the kitchen, laughing at his own joke as he went.

Haley Belucci

She watched as his mind went over her presence in the house. Part of her wanted to smirk but her conscience was already yelling at her for waking up with a hangover. When the grin slid onto his face she knew he was going to say something rude, so she braced herself for it. "Fine don't tell me" she smirked and walked into the hallway, opening up random doors. She found pretty interesting things in each room: drugs splayed across the table in one room, a couple sprawled out on top of each other seemingly plastered, and a half naked blonde waking up wondering where her partner was. Haley smirked and knew that Griffin must have come from that room, because when Haley opened the door the girl asked where Griffin was. "Oh, he's taking my shift reading for the elderly at Rosemary homes." she said, quite convincingly. The girl didn't seem all that smart and she bought it. "Awwwww that's so sweet." she smiled softly and tilted her head to the side. Haley laughed softly and turned and shook her head at Griffin. The next door she opened was the bathroom. She closed the door behind her and locked it.

She turned on the shower and immediately closed her eyes. The warm water seemed like the best thing in the world at that moment. She used whatever shampoo was in the shower at the time, smelling it first to make sure it wasn't absolutely disgusting. When she got out she put her old clothes back on and pulled body spray out of her bag. When she emerged from the bathroom again she looked clean and smelled astounding. She sat down in a gross looking chair in the living room and finished drying off her golden locks. Asking Griffin where the bathroom was, was just a courtesy.

Griffin Bailey
Griffin only had to look through a few cabinets until he found what he wanted, a box of cornflakes. Grabbing the largest bowl he could find, he filled it to the brim with cornflakes before he opened up the fridge hoping to god there was milk. As he roughly poured to milk into the bowl, more than a few droplets of milk spilled across the bench. He then took a few large mouthfuls of his cornflakes, taking his time and savoring them. When he heard Haley return to the living room though he picked up his bowl of cornflakes and moved into the same room as her. Of course not bothering to clean up anything he used or any mess he had made in the process. Though his mouth was full he gave a friendly smile to Haley as he slumped into the couch opposite her.

"So, why are you here? Don't get offended, but this isn't exactly what I would describe as you scene." Griffin voiced his curiousness after he had swallowed. The question had taken up his mind ever since he had seen her earlier, it just didn't make sense to him. He propped his feet up on the coffee table, pushing aside the objects that had already been there; some of them being pushed onto the floor. He watched her carefully, waiting patiently for her answer, which was weird, he didn't really do the patience thing. Taking another spoonful of his cornflakes as he waited, he realized he may have been a touch too careless as he felt a largich drop of milk roll down his chin.

Haley heard Griffin emerge from the kitchen as she was drying her hair. "I told you, I only get drunk at the best parties" she smirked, but her tone was sad. Next she pulled a couple of pain killers out of her bag and swallowed them dry. Her nose wrinkled as an awful smell filled her nostrils. She came to realize it was her shirt. No matter how much body spray she put on it always smelled rancid. Rifling through her backpack she smiled and pulled out her extra gym shirt. 'Well isn't THAT lucky?' she thought. She stood, turned her back to Griffin, and quickly changed shirts. The change also revealed the large bruise on her back which was slowly becoming more purple. She thought nothing of it and sat back down.

Griff rolled his eyes and turned his attention back to his cereal, clearly at least trying to be friendly with this girl was not going to work. He couldn't help a glance up though when she changed shirt. He couldn't help but notice the large bruise appearing on her back and a small frown slid onto his face. He quickly dismissed it though, he lived very strongly by the rule; don't bother caring, it's too much work. So he forgot about it and turned back to his bowl of cornflakes. After A few more mouthfuls he was finished with his cornflakes and already feeling better than how he woke up.

Standing up he put the empty bowl on the coffee table and luckily, found his car keys in his pocket. "I'd offer you a ride, but you know, last time that didn't really work so well. Though as the gentleman I am, the offer of a ride still stands." He said to Haley as he threw hey keys up into the air and caught them effortlessly. He didn't really know why he was offering her of all people a ride, he didn't offer people rides.

Haley watched as he wolfed down his cornflakes, and wondered how he could eat after a night of drinking. She snickered to herself when he called himself a gentlemen. "Actually yes, I do need a ride. I'm going back to the hospital today. Would you actually bring me to the hospital or drop me off half way again?" she smirked, meaning no harm. 'Thomas is going to know i've been drinking. He always somehow knows my little secrets" she thought. Then she frowned 'IF he's awake' the thought made her anxious to see her brother. She also wondered if her uncle and mother would be there as well...and what actually happened to her uncle last night.

Haley pulled out her phone and called her mom, but it went to voicemail. "Hey mom, I'm gonna be at the hospital within the hour, if you get this message before I get there call me and let me know if he's awake yet." she shut her phone and turned back to Griffin. "Lets go then" she said softly.

Griffin Bailey
Griffin almost fell over from surprise when Haley actually took up his offer of a ride. He was sure she would decline, especially considering what happened last time. "Alright then let's go." Griffin said as he gave her a small, soft smile, though if she had blinked she would have missed it. The moment he felt himself smiling he immediately changed his face back to neutral and turned away towards the door. He didn't say anything or look back at Haley, he just assumed she was following, her loss if she wasn't.

As soon as he had his first foot outside of the front door Griff pulled out a cigarette from his pocket. He didn't smoke inside houses, especially other's houses, he liked to think himself slightly more considerate than that. Before he lit it up though he looked over and saw Haley following him to his car. Realizing she probably wouldn't appreciate sharing a car with someone who was smoking he shoved the cigarette back into his pocket. He decided he'd save it for later, even though he'd probably need if to survive this trip to the hospital. Not that he really knew why he was bothering to be so considerate. Not bothering to acknowledge Haley or anything like that when he arrived at his parked car, he just swung open his door and jumped into the driver's seat. She'd get the message. "You sure you don't want to go home, and I don't know, change clothes?" Griff asked her, though somewhat bluntly.

Haley Belucci

Haley was a bit surprised when he sent her a smile back. It was only momentarily but it was a smile none-the-less. It seemed as though he was trying to cover the fact that he even LOOKED at her by turning and heading out the door. 'Why is reputation so important? Since when did being a jerk take precedence over real friends and real relationships?' she thought.

She watched as Griffin pulled out a cigarette, held it in his hands for a moment, and then put it in his pocket. 'Is that....Is that consideration I see?' she thought. A smirk slid onto her face. 'Wow. maybe I am rubbing off on him' "You sure you don't want to go home, and I don't know, change clothes?" he said. "Why? Don't I look RAVISHING in this?" she smirked and rolled her eyes. "I already took a shower and changed my shirt. I need to see my brother. He takes importance in this matter." She sat in the passenger seat, pulled down the mirror, and pulled out her cover up. She started applying cover up to her eye, and winced every time she had to smear it in. When she was finished it was still noticeable, but it didn't look as bad.
