Jenny

Female

16

Christina Ricci

Image

Description:
Jennifer stands at 5'6'', her build is fit and her clothes are casual and rather tomboyish. Her dark brown hair is straight and reaches her mid back.

Electrokinesis, aerokinesis, high physical strength

Weaknesses:
Electrokinesis often causes her hands to hurt, aerokinesis is achieved very slowly, her super strength is hard to be controlled.

Skills:
Jennifer knows some martial arts.

History:
As the eldest child, Jennifer was both protective and annoying to her siblings. She would often team up with Ashley in order to play some pranks on Aidan, but neither of them were safe from her antics. She grew up to be quite the prankster an teaser to her siblings, but it was more out of affection and lack of respect for their personal space, rather than cruelty and dominance. She have always found their reactions to be adorable, especially Aiden's. However, as much of a pester she was, she got the fair and share revenge at her.
In middle school Jennifer learned some martial arts. She was skilled enough to defend herself in case someone attacked her, or mugged her in the streets, but she wouldn't go very far in a brawl.
Jenny quickly quitted martial arts classes, due to her difficulties to control her strength. She didn't want to injure any more people. Even after years Jennifer can either underestimate or overestimate her strength.
(Will add more)

Memories:
(Will add after some discussion)

Other:
Jenny is kind-hearted, yet overbearing and persistant. She usually has a laid-back attitude, complete with being mischievous. Jennifer seems to be often in the clouds, thinking of strange things. She can also come across as inconsiderate, reckless and not respecting people's personal space, but when her family is in mortal danger, even she can get serious.

So begins...

Aidan woke up with the sunlight in his eyes. The blanket had fallen onto the floor. He had to take couch, because he was the only one small enough to fit in it. Next time they got an RV, they were getting one with more beds. Or a more comfortable couch. Or both. Though, in retrospect, he should probably be grateful he didn't have to bunk with his sisters. That way, hopefully they would go after each other more then him.

As he got up, he could not help but notice the window next to him was half covered in frost. In the middle of summer. "Shit".

He got up, and looked around the kitchen. He started to make himself breakfast, when he felt something. He grabbed the wall quickly, because he knew what it meant. He was having another vision. He could see something. An eagle, some sort of knife, and a pine tree sign with some writing on it, with bloodsplatter all over it.

By the time it was over, he realized he had collapsed to he ground, and his head was throbbing. He started to stand up, hoping no one was awake to see him. He hated being treated like a baby.

It was such a beautiful morning for Jenny, it was perfect for her to continue her slumber. As the night owl she was, only her rumbling stomach would get her out of bed.

"Pancakes..." Jenny mumbled and got up in a sitting position "Need pancakes... heh... pan cakes..." she chuckled once her imagination showed her several cakes in the shape of a frying pan.
"Before that..." the girl thought and went to Ashley's bed. (I don't know which one has the upper or the lower part)
"So cute and peaceful while sleeping..." Jenny whispered while looking at her sleeping sister. She slowly prepared her arms.
"Wakey wakey, Ashley..." she said and shot her hands in an attempt to tickle the girl mercilessly. Wether she succeeded or not, it was up to Ashley.

Green fuzzy shapes zipped past her peripheral vision, only the low hanging branches from the trees in front of her addressing her full attention. The world seemed to slide past her; she was running. Howls erupted from the greenery, echoing in her ear until their meaning made sense to her: kill. Heavy breathing and thumping of feet paws on packed snow surrounded her before she realized that it was in fact her that was making these noises. A growl rippled through her small mouth wolfy canine muzzle and escaped her throat in a strangled bark. Her muscles flexed, tension rippling of her skin silky fur down to her toes. Her fingers claws dug deep into the snow, propelling her forward. She was running for her life, chased down by her own wolf kind. Traitor. Alien. Enemy. Their vicious words rang in her ears She whimpered helplessly as the barking got closer and closer, her legs carrying her farther and farther, but not far enough. Canines nipped at her her heals, and she went down, sprawling across the frozen tundra. Teeth were upon her, biting, ripping, tearing, tickling, ...tickling?

Ashley's eyes shot open, her dream spiraling out of her mind even as she grasped it, hoping to catch the last details of her dream before she forgot it completely. She screeched in surprise and she noticed Jenny standing over her, tickling her without mercy. Ash kicked her sister off of her, still screeching like some deranged animal before ducking out of her reach. Shooting her sister a glare she climbed up front to her uncle who promptly wished her good morning. She rolled down her passenger side window and stuck her head out, much like a dog. She looked around for some indication as to where they were but all that greeted her was a friendly hawk caw far above her "Nice air today. Clear skies for miles. Join me Ash!" Ash ducked back into the car and declared "Clear skies today!" She twirled back into the kitchen of the RV and started humming a song that she couldn't quite remember the name to.

"After breakfast can I follow from above for a while? Edge wants me to go flying with him." That was the weirdest thing about her, she supposed. Because she could understand and completely turn into any animal, she made... friends. Edge was the Hawk that swooped over head, following the RV. He had been following them for miles. Sometimes she didn't seem him for a day or two but he always popped back up. Her uncle mumbled a lazy yes and Ash pranced off to the kitchen, before she realized her brother was collapsed on the ground. This was normal, more or less, but it still scared the shit out of her every time it happened.

"Aiden? Hey buddy you ok? What did you see?" She pressed, just as he was standing up. He looked around hoping nobody had saw him, but she stepped in closer, cutting him off. "Are you okay? Do you want me to make pancakes?"

Aidan silently cursed in his head as Ashley asked if he was all right. He had not collapsed in months, and he was hoping to keep it so no one noticed. "I am fine. I just slipped. I was about to catch myself when....yeah" he lied. He was getting really good at it too. "Bad timing is all. Anyways, whatever I saw, it did not look good. But I didn't really recognize anything either, so its meaningless right now".

He knew that it wouldn't be for long though. Eventually, one of them came into contact with one of his visions. It was just a matter of time. Their uncle went up through a door and into the front. "While you make pancakes, I will get us to a fuel station. We are nearly out. Looks like the next town is...Pineever".

His head got another throb, but it did not send him to the ground this time. Instead, it was just another flash. A very strange flash, and one he did not like.

For some strange reason, he was drowning. In chocolate. The strangeness of the vision could be seen right on his face. He tried to change the subject. "And that is a yes for pancakes".

"Aww, grumpy lil' kitten." was all Jenny could say after her sister glared at her and went away. After that, she went to the kitchen.
"Pancake tiime!" she whispered to herself while taking out the frying pan.

After a few minutes Jennifer put a pile of rushed, badly formed and slightly burned pancakes on the table.
"Ashey! Aidy! Pancakes are ready!" she called for her siblings "Hurry up before they get cold! I can scrub away the burnt part if you want!"

Ashley gave her brother a pointed look, but decided to ignore his lie. If he didn't want to talk about it then so be it. Instead, she turned toward the kitchen to make him pancakes. However, Jenny had beat her too it and Ash groaned inwardly. Jenny's cooking wasn't that bad... just always burnt. Although Ash was glad she didn't have to make them, she still would have liked a less burnt pancake. However, use didn't complain as she flopped the biggest one she could find and slapped some butter on it. She didn't use syrup on her pancakes, which was a little odd, but she didn't care. Carving off a piece she stuffed it into her mouth, starving.

However, this pancake was more than burnt. Her face squinted up in disgust, but she didn't want to offend her sister, so she kept chewing and hoped this next rest stop would have more food. Unfortunatly, this idea was cut short as a weird burning sensation filled her mouth. Was this pancakes spicy? Realization dawned on Ash as she scrambled up from the table, her eyes shooting daggers at her sister as she spat into the sink.

"EW JENNY!!! Did you put hot sauce in this?!?" She squealed, dumping the rest of her pancake down the sink. She then proceeded to pick up the rest of the pancakes and fling them at her sister, with lightning speed, giggling evilly.

When the Pancake call was made, Aidan looked at Jenny in annoyance. "I told you not to call me that!"

He went over anyways to eat some pancakes. It was only once he had eaten a good bit of it before the spiceyness took hold. "OWW" he said, as he quickly ran over to the fridge, and doused his tongue in water from a water bottle. "You know I hate spicey anything!"

He glared over at her with some annoyance. He quickly went over and snatched the hot sauce bottle, freezing it solid, and then stuffing it in the freezer, before adding a layer of frost to the freezer. "There, that should take care of the damn thing".

He turned around, only he saw his sisters frozen. He blinked, and suddenly they were okay again. It was just a bleed in. Its like a vision, only they are more subtle, and don't cause headaches. He quickly grabbed a tissue however, because they do cause nosebleeds. Hence the term bleed in.

He sighed to himself. He didn't want to say it, but he was pretty sure they were heading straight for trouble. And it was written on his face.

Jenny was rolling on the floor from laughter. She was too absorbed in it to notice that Aiden had yet another vision.

"Sweeties, you didn't want to offend me for not eating my horrible pancakes, so you two fell for it so easily!"

Her laughter was slowly calming down, as she got up from the floor.
"Hey, hamster!" she turned to her little brother and ruffled his hair. "Any new visions lately?"

Ashley yawned dramatically, grabbing a granola bar and chewing quickly. "Not that this isn't fun.." She said in between bites, spraying crumbs at her sister, "But I'm going to take a little break from this cutesy family time," She said, shoving the rest of the granola bar down her mouth and turned towards the front of the RV where the door was. Ash's finger's tingled with excitement. She had practiced getting out of the car while in motion enough times not to splat onto the pavement or to get smushed by an oncoming car. "Be careful," her uncle said before unlocking the door.

In one swift movement she pushed open the door, leapt out, and her arms were suddenly all feathers. With a great flap of her arms she rose about six feet. Her body became smaller and smaller, her eye sight sharper, a beak in place of her mouth, feathers feather feathers everywhere. In a matter of seconds, she was the queen of the sky, a magnificent Red-tailed hawk. She pumped her wings, easily coasting higher and higher until only her hawk eyes could keep track of the RV. Her uncle had painted a bright red stripe on the roof of the RV so she could see it better. Any normal bird wouldn't be able to keep up with a car going down a road at that speed, but she was no normal hawk. She combined the strength and speed of other animals into this form so that she could fly faster and farther than normal. However, normally she liked to hang back and just enjoy the sky, she can catch up to the RV or keep it in sight.

"Something is wrong. I can sense it in the air" The familiar caws of her friend Edge could be heard beside her. Ash turned her head slightly to eye the mischievous bird beside her. "What do you mean?" She asked, angling her wingtips so they coasted along the path of the rode. "Follow me." Edge said before tucking his wings in for a steep dive towards the RV. They leveled out about ten feet above the ground, flying quickly alongside the rode. Edge stopped pressing forward as soon as they were next to a black car with tinted windows. The hairs, or feathers rather, stood up on the back of her neck.

"I've been following this car. And it's been following you for the past three days." Ash almost stopped flapping. Horror was evident on her face. She quickly flew up to the RV, and used her claws to perch on top. She turned into a less menacing brown bird and creeped her way along until she could safely claw her way to the passenger side mirror. She used her beak to tap on the window and her uncle looked over before rolling it down for her. She flew in gracefully and transformed immediately back to normal, but before she could say anything, police sirens wailed directly behind them. Her uncle swore colorfully before slowing down slightly. This was not right. This was wrong. SOmeone, something was in that car and she feared they would get more than a ticket. "Don't slow down!'' She screamed, looking to Aiden for support. Maybe he had seen something in that vision.. anything. "Something is very wrong.

"Nothing that makes sense. Blood splatter, you two being frozen, and me drowning in chocolate milk. So as usual, nothing remotely useful" he mentioned. As Ashley went to leave, Aidan mouthed to her "Take me with you!"

Suddenly, the final part of this vision started to come forth. He didn't know how he could tell, but he always could tell when a chain of visions was ending. And this one showed something strange. It showed a skull on the road. And then, a car passing it, with a badge on it. And then he saw the face.

When Ashley came in, yelling, Aidan shook his head. He had hoped for an adventure filled, but evil free vacation. But it looked like someone decided to tag along. "Ash, they can go faster then us. Not slowing down wouldn't do a thing".

Eventually, they stopped. Some people got out, and Aidan answered the door, wiping the blood from his nose. And unfortunately for Aidan, it was about the one annoyance he couldn't punch.

"Agent Becker. I thought you were told to leave the investigation be, since you couldn't get any proof" Aidan told the man. This man was the one responsible for all the scrutiny they had been in after they got their powers, and possibly behind the kidnappings of various other people who he did confirm to have superpowers, though not for the GOvernment, but for some top secret lab to do experiments on. Needless to say, a very annoying person.

"And I told you, I will prove you have Superpowers" he told them.

"listen, we are on vacation. If I see you again and you are not on official business, I am filing another complaint. Got it?"

"You wont get away next time. Trust me on..." he started, but Aidan slammed the door in his face.

"Ash, I really wish you were not right on these...." he started, before he felt something else. Something inert. "There is something more. A darker force, among the police there. Someone is using him...we should stay on guard, but he cant do anything right now. Too many witnesses. But we should be careful".

When Aidan said to be careful, well. That was a red alert right there.

Of course that inspector had to go after them. It was mostly him that would bring so much panic to her family. However, Jennifer raised her brow when Aiden said there was much more and that Agent Becker was controlled by a bigger force.
"Strange... what kind of evil awaits us?" she thought to herself.

"Alright, bro." Jennifer took Aiden in her arms and carried him on the couch. After she placed him there, she lifted his left arm.
"Have a rest for now until your nose stops bleeding. I'll fix you some breakfast. And don't worry, I wouldn't do another food prank so soon. It would be too repetitive." she said and went away from the couch, heading to the fridge in her usual calm state, just as nothing happened. So far there would be no point of panic, would there? The future might be difficult, but it wouldn't be easier if you curled up in the present.

"BOO!" Jenny yelled while jumping in front of the couch, throwing a package of biscuits. She wanted to observe Aiden's reaction, in case he was still laying.

Ash watched uncomfortably from the couch as Aiden handled the inspector at the door. Of course it would be him. That jerk never seemed to leave them alone, even on their road trip. They weren't even that far into the trip and it already seemed like they had been tracking them from the start. She muddled over it all in her head. It was weird. Edge was a good lookout, but you'd think that Agent Becker would have made a little more of a concerted effort to avoid being detected. How he even knew to pull of the RV at that time or why still puzzled her. If they had been following them for days, then why show themselves now? Something was really off here and none of the pieces seemed to fit.

As Jenny took care of Aiden, she puzzled over this dark force he mentioned. Was is the aliens that caused all this? Were they back and hunting them down? Ash stretched and plastered a smile on her face, ready to do something else. She caught one last glimpse of the dark vehicle still pulled over to the side of the road as they continued on. She couldn't spot Edge anywhere, which made sense because he couldn't keep up for long.

After some time, a voice rose up from the front. "Hey kids we are at Pineever. I'm going to fill up the tank real quick. Try not to set the RV on fire," her uncle said before parking and exiting the RV.

Aidan fussed a little about being carried. Okay, he fussed a lot. He did not like being carried. At all. Ever.

That said, he was still hungry. Then again, Aidan was always hungry. He thought something was off, but he was not sure what yet. When Jenny stood up and yelled "Boo" though, it startled him, the biscuits hitting him on the head. He grabbed a napkin and wiped the blood away.

When they stopped at town, Aidan sort of zoned out. He just stood up, and walked outside. Walked outside, and starred right at the sign. Aidan sort of started at it for a moment, before coming out of his daze. He recognized the sign though. It was the very same he had seen with bloodsplatter all over it. He looked around, and the small town was fairly big for a small town. Had to be, because there was a heavy machinery delivery van parked down the road.

"How the..." Aidan started to say, until he saw some police up ahead. A Sheriff, and a roped off crimescene. Aidan got curious, and went closer to look, when he saw that there was a woman stabbed to death. The knife...the bloody sign...my vision was about this. And somehow, we are already in trouble...

As their uncle announced they reached Pineever, Jenny went outside of the van, examing the place. It took her some time to find something fishy in the environment.

"Whoa... Okay..." her eyes widened at the sight of a female corpse with wound that would be done by a blade. They were barely at the beginning of their journey, and there were already cases of murder.

"Excuse me..." Jenny went closer to the police. "What... happened? Should we know something?" she asked. Probably Aiden knew something, but if the policeman explained his version too, everything would be clearer. So, not only there was an inspector trying to reveal their powers while being controlled by a bigger organization, there was already a dead body. Why was that person killed? Did she hav super powers too?

Ash knew something wasn't quite right front the moment they had stopped the car. Furrowing her brow, she followed her siblings out of the car and instantly saw what all the commotion was about. A line of police tape. Dead body. Ash pressed her lips into a tight line before ducking back into the RV and transforming into a tall 40 year old man in a police uniform. Luckily, this transformation came with a badge. Her cop disguise came with red hair and a wiry red mustache. Quickly getting out she confidently walked up to the scene, flashing her badge at the nearest cop before ducking under the tape.

"Whoa, whoa, who are you?"

Ash turned around, and raised an eyebrow at the buff looking man, obviously younger than him but rather confident. She quickly decided what approach to use.

"Ah sorry I didn't introduce myself. Mark Wilson. I'm from a couple counties over. We had a similar case to this a while ago and I was sent to investigate any connections made. So unless you have any news, sonny, let me go about my work," Ash said sternly, but with a gentle kindness. The officer immediately eased up a little.

"My apologize Mr. Wilson. What county did you say you were from? I've never heard of anything like this in these parts."

Ash quickly tried to think through signs they had passed, trying to come up with a name for any county "Uh, Gladswood county." She sputtered. "What exactly is so special about this?" she said quickly in attempt to change the subject. Ash could clearly tell the woman had been stabbed to death. She was lying facedown in the parking lot, blood soaking the back of her.

"Well, for one thing, she wasn't stabbed once. She was stabbed nearly 56 times in the same position."

Ash's eyebrows rose in surprise. How would someone even have the energy to do that?

"That's not all sir. It gets weirder."

Everything just sort of felt strange to Aidan right now. It was different though, he could hear some sort of strange music. He looked around, but no one else seemed to hear it. That is when he overheard one of the officers mention she had been working near the new factory. Which was strange because no one was close enough for him to overhear that.

"I am going to check out over there" Aidan said, his voice sounding a bit strange. It was almost like he was hypnoized. Which to be fair, there was music playing in only his head right now.

"What is this music?" he asked himself, though the words never actually left his lips. At the same time, snow started to fall from the sky, but only for a minute.

As Jenny looked around, she noticed there were barely any people around. There weren't any kids around, even though it was summer time. Given that there's a murder, Jenny isn't very surprised. She didn't know if the whole familly should just keep going, or it was already too late and they're already somehow involved. For a start, Jennifer decided to go to hwer brother and ask him.

"Hey, Aiden, what now? Should we leave this place? Hey... Where's Ashley?" she asked.

The man's sentence was cut short as Ash spotted Aiden walking in some sort of strange haze like he was a zombie.

"Uh I'll be right back," Ash says before pushing past the befuddled man and towards Ash. Jenny seemed to be talking to him but he didn't look quite right. He looked almost dead, like all the color had drained from his face and the light had left his eyes. Ash didn't dare transform back to her normal self, painfully aware of the officer's eyes boring holes into her back. She gently touched her brother on the shoulder before shaking him slightly.

"Aiden?" She said, testing the two syllables on her tongue, as if mulling over his name will bring light to what seemed so blatantly off.

"Aiden its me Ash are you okay? Is something wrong?" She asked frantically, quickly looking over her shoulder to see an angry cop stomping their way, obviously annoyed that some stranger was talking to potential witnessing and stealing the glory.

Aidan stopped next to a random truck, as if something momentairly caught his attention. This time, he spoke out loud. "Where is the music coming from" Aidan mentioned, even though no music was playing.

Suddenly, Aidan found himself standing in some sort of factory. In reality, he was behind the truck, climbing the ladder in the back to get on top of it. In his mind, he was climbing the ladder in a factory, on some sort of tour. While he reached the top of the truck in reality, he was on some sort of platform in his mind. He kept walking forward, when another voice spoke.

"And this is our main mixing plant, where we creature pure and natural tasty chocolate milk" the tour guide mentioned, walking over to Aidan.

Then he remembered his vision. He started to panic. He spoke both in his mind and outloud. "Wait, I saw myself...oh no..."

Suddenly, Aidan was pushed off the platform, and right through the truck as if there was no roof. Both in reality, and in his mind, he was drowning in chocolate milk, and could not get any oxygen. And unless he got help or did something soon, chocolate milk would kill him.

I did not expect that to be so literal!

"AIDEN!" Jenny yelled, as both of her hands sparked slightly. She ran to the truck and climbed on it.
"What kind of a vision was that? What happened to that kid?" she thought.
"I'll save you, Aiden!" Jennifer murmured to herself in confidence. Shortly after that her loss of balance caused her to shriek and also fall inside. It took her several seconds to catch her brother and bring him to the surface.
"What happened just now?" she asked him while panting for air. "Those visions might get you killed one day! I'm surprised they didn't do it already. Hey! Speak!"
