Hello. If you are reading this, congratulations! You have been accepted into the elite Duel Academy where the best duelist in the world have emerged. You will be taking the next boat to the island to begin your studies. First thing you should know is you are here to duel. If you fail to do so you will be expelled. The next thing you should know is there are three dorms. Depending on how you did in your exams, you will be put into one of these three dorms.
Obelisk: You passed both the written and dueling exam with flying colors. You wear a blue jacket and you have a high class dorm.
Ra: You passed at least one of the exams, but you didn't do so well on the other. You wear a yellow jacket and you have a decent dorm.
Slifer: You barely passed, but you got into the school. You wear red jackets and you have a decent dorm, but you have a roommate.
The next thing on the things you need to know is your equipment. You will each be given a duel disk that matches your color and a DP counter telling you how many duel points you have. You can use these to spend on everything you need. If you get an allowance from your parents, that will be transferred into DP and you can then spend it. You win DP by winning and losing duels. So, welcome have fun. Be ready to duel, too! But be warned. There are dark forces all around us, and it wouldn't be a surprise if they came here to take us over. On a lighter note, have a great year!
