Abigail has an array of nicknames that she likes to be called by some of her peers. She of course likes to be called Abby, because people are too lazy to call her by her full name unless their an adult though. Abigail has most people that calls her Gail, as well and she asks the people that calls her this as to why Gail and their reason is because she kind of resembles the female wrestler, Gail Kim. Of course, Abigail thought their reasons were a bit racist but just went with the flow of things. Most people know of her beautiful middle name and gave her the nickname Des. It's not her favorite nickname but she accepts it anyway.

Abigail stands about five foot six and weighs about one-hundred and twelve pounds. Even though it may not look like it, Abigail is athletically built due to her training in Martial Arts.

Hair Color
Abigail naturally is a brunette but she has dyed her hair to a pure, raven black color.

Eye Color
Abigail eyes are a chestnut brown color.

Distinguishing Marks
Abigail has her bottom two earlobes pierced, like any other girl would have. She has a tattoo of her birthday in Roman numeral form and zodiac symbol on her left ankle.

Style
Abigail style is a bit up and down. One minute, she's dressed in girly girl attire that consists of blouses, skirts and heels. Another minute, she'll have this grunge appearance about her, which consists of anything leather and black such as a jacket, jeans and heeled boots. Most of her clothes are color coordinated with each other but most are just thrown together.

Good personality traits
♦ Intelligent ♦ Creative ♦ Adaptable ♦ Accepting ♦

Bad personality traits
♦ Self-righteous ♦ Blunt ♦ Indecisive ♦ Sarcastic ♦

Personality
Intelligent. Of course, that is one word to describe Abigail's personality as she has a high intelligent level. And her intelligence just isn't applied to school work neither. She also has social intelligence and can interject herself into almost any conversation. Though, she has to be careful not to show her bluntness at the same time. Abigail's very blunt but only when it comes to certain things. Someone asks her to be brutally honest with them, she will without hesitation. She has been known to hurt a few feelings with her words but at the time, she doesn't care but when she thinks about, she truly does care. She is creative when it comes to doing things for the sorority such as making signs, coming up with ideas and even coming up with certain themes for parties or whatever else they may be doing.

Abigail is accepting when it comes to adding new members to the sorority, although she isn't really accepting of putting the pledges through grueling and awkward stages throughout their trials. She is also accepting to any kind of race, sexuality and gender as she sees a person for what's on the inside and not the outside. If someone was to make plans with her, she'd need a minute to think about it because she is so indecisive about making plans with others. Whatever someone else is doing, she'd be happy with whatever their doing, as well.

Overall, she is not a bad person to befriend as she'll give anyone at least a chance to make some sort of impact in her life. She is always looking to make new friends outside of her sorority and hopefully they last long around her.

Greatest joys in life
β€’ Milkshakes β€’ Family & Friends β€’ Chinese Food β€’ Pizza β€’ Martial Arts β€’ Money β€’ Having people care β€’ Ice cream β€’ Internet β€’ Wifi β€’ College β€’ Apple Inc. β€’

Greatest fears
β€’ Being put in the spotlight β€’ Tight spaces β€’ Clowns β€’ Physical abuse β€’ Dying young β€’

Life philosophy
β€œLife will break you. Nobody can protect you from that, and living alone won’t either, for solitude will also break you with its yearning. You have to love. You have to feel. It is the reason you are here on earth. You are here to risk your heart. You are here to be swallowed up.”

Thoughts on Greek Life
Abigail honestly likes the Greek Life at Fulton as she was actually recruited in by some of the girls during her Freshmen year in college. She was a little bit reluctant to join but when she did and had a blast, she was completely hooked for life. Her parents were a little bit against the idea and wanted her to focus solely on school and nothing else but she's an adult now and they respect her decision enough because they only want to see her happy. She happy to be apart of Alpha Theta Pi as she only a little sister right now but she hopes to be a big sister to someone when she is a Senior.

Plans After Fulton
Abigail chose to major in Journalism because she always wanted to write articles for Vogue magazine and hopefully even take a few pictures for the magazine as well, hence why she is minoring in Photography. Before she even becomes a Senior, she is going to submit her application to Vogue.com and hope to have them call her back before she graduates from Fulton University so that the day she does graduate she can pack her bags and head to New York and be apart of the Vogue.com team.

Childhood & Family Life

Abigail was born on a beautiful fall day to two wonderful parents, Ken and Anna Chu. She was born at the Seoul hospital, which is also the capital of Korea, as well. Growing up, whatever she wanted, she got even as a little girl. Her parents spoiled her to the T. She honestly liked being spoiled but at the same time, hated it as well. Her parents always wanted to see Abigail do something with her life, no matter what it was as long as she was happy. Abigail grew up in Seoul, Korea until the age of four when her mother got a promotion at work but the job was only available within the United States. Of course, it meant more money for her and the family so her father agreed that she should accept the offer and when she did, they were on the next flight out of Korea and to the United States - California, to be exact.

Growing up within the California lifestyle wasn't as much different as growing up in Seoul. Everything was pretty much the same until Abigail had to be enrolled in elementary school as she attended Beverly Hills Elementary. She was heavily bullied because she wasn't originally from Beverly Hills and because she didn't have that look like everyone else. She heard a lot of racial slurs from people and went home and begged her father to home school her. They didn't as they felt like this was setting her up for real life since people are going to talk about you till the day you die. Abigail continuously went to school after her parents talk with her head held high and she became somewhat of a confident figure in kindergarten. She was impressed how the tables have turned so quickly against her first few days enemies.

A few years went on and she still remained at the top of Beverly Hills food chain as the confident person everyone perceived her out to be. Her life became a bit easier that way as she hated that she had to change her complete attitude around just to make friends but she had to do what she had to do. Her mother was quickly rising in the ranks at her job as well while her father stayed at home, watching over her and even training her in Martial Arts, something she loves till this day. Her father showed her everything he knew, even how to meditate and clear her mind, which is something she did periodically.

Moving forward to high school now, Abigail had finally be accepted into the Beverly Hills lifestyle fully even though she had retired her Queen Bee status to someone else. She was much happier within the lifestyle now and even made a few more friends to join her clique. Though now that she was in high school, she had to seriously think about her future and where she was heading from that magic moment. She joined the Drama Club and Photography Club and became an instant sensation due to her ability to take magnificent pictures and even act the way the teacher wanted to bring the role to life. She even started writing her own criticism for the plays and showing it to the drama teacher, who loved what she wrote about the shows since it was the truth. Abigail was granted a critic blog with the school newspaper, which is an offer she could not refuse and people raved on and on about her writings from the drama club.

As high school was approaching to a close, Abigail's parents made sure she sent in a ton of college applications. Of course, with her 4.0 GPA and 29 score on the ACT, she was likely to get accepted anywhere but the one college that stuck out to her was Fulton University as she toured the campus before even deciding on it. She was impressed with the campus lifestyle and even what the college had to offer its students. She didn't really want to join a sorority when she toured the college because they all looked like stuck up snobs, in her own personal opinion though.

The time had come for her to graduate from high school, which she did and received her diploma. She got a lot of hugs from teachers and students alike as everyone was going to miss her but she promised them that she was going to visit during her breaks, if she can. She started at Fulton and was immediately approached by some girls from Alpha Theta Pi. She heard their words and told them that she'd think about and indeed she did. It took her about a month to join the sorority and pledge her life to the sorority. She had to endure some grueling tasks but preserved through the challenges and was able to become a Alpha Theta Pi girl, who are not all that bad when you get to know them.

Abigail still attends Fulton University and is still apart of Alpha Theta Pi. She loves the girls, or her sisters with all her heart and she'll do almost anything for anyone of them, honestly. Abigail is really focused on her studies more than the sorority though and hopes that her sisters respect that and not give her any mess about it. She still finds the time to manage to hang out with the sorority for events though since they do need her for coming up with themes and ideas. Abigail hopes to remain apart of Alpha Theta Pi until she graduates from Fulton so that she can be someone else's big sister, as well.

So begins...

Location: Miami, Florida, USA
Time: 8:15 PM
Most people spend Sunday trying to prepare themselves for the droll and unwanted responsibilities that come about come the dreaded Monday morning. They sip their tea, drink that last bit of wine, and lay in bed trying to decide if they're really going to be petty enough to pretend like they're sick in this call to their office, scrounging up every excuse in the book as to why they can't go to work, school, or wherever the daylight happens to take them. However, for the students at Fulton University, instead of the lackadaisical doings of their typical Sunday evenings, the air around campus (and throughout the city) is alive with anticipation as people pre-game and prepare for a night of carefree drinking, dancing, and even drama...

...especially drama, particularly when the Greek life students are involved.

Some students are still in dorms, apartments and houses getting ready for the Guys in Ties & Girls in Pearls event hosted by Fulton's own Greek Life Alumna Association. Girls are just finishing the finishing touches to their hair or just sliding into velvet dresses, lacing up and slipping into heels of various styles. Sipping on glasses of wine or champagne, giggling over their shared excitement over how the night could unfold and the plans they've already made. Maybe even the tipsiness they already have. And guys are fastening on cuff links, straightening up the suits some just got from dry-cleaning or delivered by their favorite tailoring services. Quaffing glasses of scotch or taking shots to the head in preparation for how absolutely trashed they're bound to be by night's end.

Regardless of where everyone is - even those who are known for being rather prompt as opposed to fashionably late - it's bound to be a night of sensuous, luxurious, riveting and possibly even scandalous fun...so just like the Alumna Association asked on twitter, where can we find you?

Yuda was stalling the process of getting ready. She had been sitting in front of her vanity for twenty minutes with the intention of at least attempting to look nice but instead settled for a few matches on a mobile card game she had. She sighed upward to blow some loose strands of hair upward and faced herself in the mirror. Usually, she wouldn't attend things like these, but, she knew without a doubt, this one the one event that Amaris would make her attend. She knew better than to try to have her way this time. "It's only one event Yuda, just one." She told herself. "You can just stand around and drink some punch and then, before you know it, it'll be over and you'll be in your nice warm bed ready for the next day.". The mental pep talk didn't do her much good, but the thought of Amaris' anger and Daisy's persistence did. Daisy would probably carry her bridal style out of the house if Yuda didn't decide to go. That image was enough to get Yuda to put on a simple dress with matching heels and of course some pearls just to be funny, I guess. After that little soliloquy, Yuda felt the vibration of the phone tingle to her body. Doing a quick flip motion with her hand, she unlocked her phone and looked at the home screen. "Speaking of the devil." She said to herself.

To: Daisy
Was dealing with the inner turmoil of having to socialize, just slipped into an outfit a minute ago. I'll be catching that cab or shuttle with you btw.

"Now to send out a few texts."

To: Naomi, Amaris, Abigail
Yes, the rumors are true, I will be attending tonight's event. No pictures please.

Yuda stood in front of her mirror to check herself out a bit. She hoped the nude colors and simple looked would do. ITs not like she was trying to make a big entrance or a good first impression or anything. She sighed and sat back down on her bed. She would countinue another few rounds of her card game until somehow got back to her text.

An assortment of dresses and heels were scattered all over the floor as it was kind of hard for Abigail to decide on what to wear for tonight's event. She sat on the edge of her bed for a minute as she tapped her chin with her index finger then snapped her fingers as she jumped up and waltzed back over to her closet. Abigail grabbed a box that she has yet to open and placed it on her bed then opened it as it revealed a black dress. A soft smile came over her lips as she knew that was the dress that was going to adorn her body at tonight's event.

After she cleaned up her room and placed everything back into its place then grabbed a pair of heels to match her dress, she showered, did her makeup and even curled her hair. She had gotten a manicure and pedicure yesterday but got the clear coat polish, so that was one less thing she really had to worry about. As she was getting dressed, her phone chimed as she raised a slight brow, wondering who could be texting her at a time like this. With her dress not even zipped, she walked over towards her phone that was on her nightstand and saw that it was a text from Yuda. Her eyes read the message and she squealed a little bit, so excited to know that Yuda was attending the Alumni event tonight.

To: Yuda
That makes my heart happy! Can't wait to see you tonight!

After she sent that text, she placed her phone back on the nightstand and zipped up her dress, finally. Abigail then sat in a chair to place on her heels as she then stood up and walked over to her floor mirror and reviewed over herself. After she gave herself a nod of approval and doused herself with a few squirts of her perfume, she grabbed her black clutch purse and cell phone then wandered out of her room and saw some of the girls still getting ready. Abigail managed to slip outside without being seen as she forgot to grab her pearl necklace for the night.

"Oh, shoot." She thought to herself as she opened the door back to the house and it seemed like all eyes were on her as most of the girls commented on choice of wear. She thanked them as she waltzed back up to her room and grabbed her pearls for the night as she took her cell phone out of her purse to send out a few texts.

To: Ben β™₯
Hey there. Save me a dance tonight?

To: Daisy
Hey there, girl! Have you left yet? If you haven't, want to ride together?

To: Ya Ya :)
Where are you? Didn't see you in the house. At the event already?

To: Archie :D
Hey there. Tell me that you're going to the Alumni event tonight.

After she sent those messages, Abigail walked out of her room again and back the stairs as she once again walked out of the house. She decided to take a seat on the porch and wait for Daisy's text before she made any more moves.

xxxxxxx"Can we act like we never broke each others hearts?"

Yaya had always been exceedingly good at people watching. Her mother once even went as far as to say that she was named after the timid doe that she had the eyes of a fierce puma. It was on of the reasons why she made such a good writer. She liked to observe the people around her and portray a version of them in her stories. As she walked through the function she couldn't help but watch the people around her, the people she called peers. Some of them laughed among each other while others of them schmoozed amongst the Alumni, charming with them with stories of their achievements and stories of their professors.

Personally she had no interest in either. She had yet to see the people that she chose to associate with and she was in no mood to schmooze with old men who were more interested in staring at her lush lips and young supple breast then they were interested in contributing to furthering her education. She did spot a specific Beta schmoozing, Andre, and with him was none other than Cyrus's father. She felt her eyebrow raise, though she wasn't honestly sure if it was more in judgement or curiosity. She wasn't very well versed in Cyrus's relationship with Andre or his father all she knew was that there was nothing healthy about it. But then again who was she to butt in? Her own mother considered her to be a selfish bitch and was never shy about telling her about it. She shook her head lightly as if she could shake her mother out of her memory and took a sip of her drink. She was on drink two but far from drunk, not that she would embarrass the Alpha's by getting drunk at an Alumni event.

She felt her phone buzz in her hand, five messages. The first two were from Ben, one from Audrey, another from Abigail, and the final one from Amaris. She decided to respond to Audrey first, she tapped her phone quickly to type out a simple "Of course." She was honestly surprised that Audrey wasn't here yet but it made her think that she had something planned and she wasn't sure she wanted to know what it was. Abigail was next and she also received a quick non committal response of "I'm already here." The text from Amaris had a image so she opened it and couldn't help smiling when she sent a response of "You look stunning." She meant it too Amaris looked absolutely amazing in the dress. She opened up Ben's texts last and she felt a smile make it's way on her face. Her fingers tapped quickly on her screen as she typed out "I'm here." but as she was about to send it she spotted Daniel arriving and could only assume that Ben came with him.

She walked through the growing maze of people looking for him. It wasn't obscenely crowded, not like the parties that the greek system crowded, but it felt like she was moving in slow motion as she got around the people that were moving obscenely slow. Just as she made it out of the crowd she saw a passing figure that was unmistakably him. She reached out and caught the sleeve of his jacket just before he walked away and as he turned around she breathed out "I'm already here"

Almost exactly as Daisy made the decision to venture downstairs in search of human life, she got a text. Seeing it was from Danny, she rolled her eyes to herself and grinned, typing out a quick reply.

To: Danny

You like every dress as long as I'm in it ;)

She sent a picture of her outfit as well. By the time she had that text sent, more had come in. She decided against sitting down though, choosing to just stand where she was as she read the texts and sent replies. She didn't want to crease her dress, and she felt like if she did sit down for any longer than necessary, that would be exactly what would happen. That and she did need to get used to being in heels before she tried doing any proper walking. She'd been in flats all day, even at church with her father that morning. Even if she didn't believe all that much herself, it was important to her father, so she went whenever he asked her to.

To: Yuda

Oh, good, I was just thinking that dragging you out of the house might be a challenge in these shoes. Will update you on travel plans shortly.

To: Abby

Let me see what the other girls are doing and I'll get back to you. Might get a taxi in with Yuda, not sure yet.

She skim-read Amaris' text and shoved her phone into her bag, glancing around the room. Spotting her lipstick and powder, she scooped both up and shoved them into her bag, before casting a final glance in the mirror and deciding that she was, at long last, ready to go. With excellent timing, apparently, because Amaris yelled that she was leaving.

Taking into consideration the fact that she was still getting used to her heels, she made it out of the house in a surprisingly quick time. "I'm here, I'm here!" She declared, running her hands through her hair and mentally chastising herself. Her hair had enough trouble holding a curl without her making it even harder. It was only then that she noticed how good Amaris and Nick looked.

"Damn, you two certainly scrub up well. Amaris, had I known how good you were going to look tonight, I certainly would have stepped up my game. I feel positively plain beside you," she said, grinning. She glanced down at her phone briefly to send a text to Abby.

To: Abby

Going with Amaris and Nick. I'll see you there, though!

"So, yeah, don't get offended if I stay away from you guys. I mean, I know I look good, but if I'm with you guys, I'll be outshone," She added, laughing.

As Archie finishes off the joint, he turns his gaze to Maddox and smiles, "Sure, sure - you have nooo idea what I'm talking about," He says sarcastically with a roll of his eyes, flicking the joint out of the window. "You can act like a dick all you want with the others, but you're my big bro Mad, I know you." With a wink Archie is finished teasing the elder boy and takes a sip of his beer, chuckling when he hears Hudson's shouts.

Making sure the smell of weed had faded, Archie walked over to the door, "You two better hurry up and get down there. If us Betas don't show our faces, every sorority girl on campus is going to go lesbian rather than having to choose a Kappa or Sigma to go home with. You know how big we are on community service, boys. Let's be good citizens and keep the ladies happy tonight, but that doesn't mean I approve of any pity fucks. If you plan on bringing home a Theta, you better text me first for approval."
Hudson's voice held a joking tone, but Archie knew he and Mad better get going, they didn't want to piss off their fearless leader. With a mock salute and "Yes sir." Directed at Hudson, Archie and Maddox made their way out of Archie's room, past the common room and out of the door. "You don't want to keep Eli waiting...or will it be Naomi tonight?" It's Archie's turn now to play dumb as he gives Maddox an innocent look and a small shrug, "I have no idea what you're talking about Maddox," Archie feigns nonchalance but eventually is facade cracks and Archie can't help but smirk, "Why not both?" He finishes with a wink as they pull up to the party.

Hopping out of the car, Archie can see the party is already in full swing but before he can step inside, his phone beeps with incoming texts, smiling at each reply from his friends, Archie quickly shoots some back.

To: Daze
When don't you look stunning? You better get here soon.

To: Eli
Oh I love it when you talk dirty.

To: Abby
Already here, hmu when you are.

To: Omi
I'm already here, but I can offer you an uber ride back to mine? ;-)

Tucking his phone back away in his inside jacket pocket, Archie pats himself down before he and Maddox head in. "If you need me, you know what to do." Archie gives his big a thumbs up as he watches the guy walk off. It doesn't take long before Archie is approached by someone new, what was her name? Katie, Karen, Kat? Archie couldn't remember but she was making a direct beeline for him so Archie just stood still and smiled at her, hoping the name would come back to him.

"Arch, I haven't seen you in agesssss," Archie nods, despite not being able to remember ever seeing her, as the girl leans further in toward him, a strand of long blonde hair falls onto his shoulder as she whispers, "We should catch up sometime." So maybe Archie didn't recognise the girl, but that doesn't mean the proposition didn't sound tempting to him. "Let me buy you a drink." He offers, and the pair wander over to the bar.

Once there, Archie notices Eliana and sends her a mischievous smirk, "Miss me?" He asks the girl, having not seen her for a couple days, feeling a tug on his sleeve, Archie turns to the girl at his side and then back to Eliana, "Oh, yeah this is, uh-" Archie pauses for a moment and the girl frowns at him, "I'm Amy." She says. Unable to hide his surprise, Archie wonders where the hell he got Katie from, but smiles like he knew it the entire time anyway. "Of course Amy," Archie looks at her with a soft smile, before turning back to Eliana, "She's a friend."

As the bartender makes his way over to where Archie is stood, he attempts to order some drinks, but is greeted with a firm "I'm gonna need to see some ID." from the bartender. Pretending to pat down his pockets, Archie gives the bartender an exasperated look and a shrug before saying, "Damn, I think I must've left it at home." Turning to Amy, Archie smiles sheepishly until she gets the message. "Oh right, yeah I'll get these - here's my ID." Taking a glance at her license as she hands it over to the bartender, Archie's eyes widen when he realises that she's 24. He didn't even know people could stay at Fulton for that long.

{With dialogue added in by Miserable}
____________________________________________
Juliette was in the kitchen, having poured herself another glass of champagne, when she got the text that Audrey had sent to both her and Charlotte. The message had made her frown, only because she was annoyed that Audrey wanted to socialize with Charlotte more than her. Putting the attention-needy side of her to rest, she knew that Charlotte was probably in trouble, given that her only interactions with Audrey tended to focus around Audrey lecturing Charlotte for being a bad Alpha, but Juliette still wanted to frown over the idea of her Big wanting to spend time with anyone other than her. Charlotte was just as displeased with the text message as Juliette was, groaning audibly after reading it. She was in the process of leaving the bathroom now, having decided that her outfit was as good as it was going to get, and being satisfied with her nails being almost completely dry by then. Charlotte was already over the theme of tonight's party, but she had been counting on it being bearable if she could spend the night with her real friends, and not the Alphas. Being ordered to spend the commute to the party with Audrey was a pretty good sign that she wasn't going to get her way on that, and that the night would be more miserable than she expected. After sending a text back to Michaela and Jazmyn, explaining that she had to ride with Audrey, Charlotte headed downstairs, finding Juliette already lingering by the door.

"Why does she want to talk to you?" Juliette asked, arms crossed over her chest with her face sporting what seemed to be her signature look of anger and offense. "Don't tell me that you had Michaela and Jazmyn over again today." Juliette could not comprehend why Charlotte insisted on doing the exact opposite of what Audrey told her to do. In her opinion, it was clearly Charlotte who was the one out of the two of them who constantly needed the attention to be focused on her. That was why she was always purposely acting out, Juliette believed.

"I was going to ask you if you knew," Charlotte said, throwing in a nonchalant shrug. Aside from the nail polish incident, Charlotte felt like she had done well this week at adhering to all of Audery's unnecessary and annoying demands and standards. She had been busy with two school papers, so that was part of it, but for the most part, outside of class, she had remained in the Alpha house (alone), or in the campus library. She had barely seen her friends since last weekend, so she didn't know what Audrey could need her for. She assumed, however, that it was just going to be a car ride full of discussions about how she needed to use this party as a chance to redeem herself, and how she was forbidden from even looking in the Zetas' direction, or something.

"She didn't mention anything to me," Juliette acknowledged, before quickly continuing with, "But can you please be normal tonight? I don't want Audrey to be in a bad mood, and some of mom's friends are going to be here. You know they'll tell her if they see you don't anything weird with your friends."

Charlotte wanted to object, or at least tell her sister that unlike her, she had enough of a brain to know that she was allowed to interact with people from other houses, regardless of social stigmas, but before she could, Audrey came downstairs. As much as Charlotte disliked Audrey at times, there was no denying that she was everything than an Alpha president should be. She was beautiful and graceful, she knew how to demand respect and get her way, and she was intelligent and influential. Charlotte didn't like her being her President, but she could give credit where credit was due, and in part because she felt like Juliette's stare was going to burn a hole in the side of her face if she was anything but respectful, Charlotte smiled at the redhead. "You look pretty, Audrey."

"She looks more than pretty! Oh my god, that dress looks even better in real life than it did in the picture you sent me."

"Thank you, my loves," Audrey smiled, relishing in the praise for a moment, before nodding approvingly at the two girls, too. She had seen both outfits before they had been put on the girls, but the Arnault genes never failed to make anything look flawless. That was one more reason for why it was all the more frustrating that Charlotte didn't take advantage of it on nights that weren't like tonight, where she was forced to dress nicely. "You two look perfect as well," she complimented, with her eyes flashing towards Charlotte's hands to make sure that the girl had rid herself of the chipped black nail polish that she had originally planned on wearing tonight. With confirmation that it had been replaced, her smile returned, and she opened up the front door. "Jules, Naomi should be down in a minute. We'll see you there," she said, waiting for Charlotte to follow her out. Charlotte did follow, but only after sending a quick text to Naomi that read, "Why am I being forced to ride alone with Audrey? Is my body going to be found in a shallow ditch miles away in a few days?" While Charlotte knew that Naomi was best friends with Audrey, she was close enough with her own Big to confide in her about how she sometimes felt like Audrey unnecessarily targeted her. Additionally, given Naomi's closeness to Audrey, Omi was usually helpful in giving Charlotte a heads up right before Audrey was going to snap on her about something.

The limo was already waiting for them, so Audrey headed towards it, smiling at Abby as she passed and saying, "Abby, Naomi and Juliette are about to leave if you need a ride." Normally, she would have been welcoming for any of her Alphas to ride with her, but she needed some alone time with Charlotte, Hudson and Weston tonight, and once the pair were in the limo with the boys, and the driver pulled off, she knew that she had that.

Yuda was just lazing about, as usual, trying to occupy herself for A by while she was waiting for some texts to be returned to her. To her dismay, she couldn't lie down on her bed because she had already gotten ready. Since it was a special occasion, she actually did her hair. It was nothing fancy by any stretch of the imagination but it did require her to rev up her curling iron. She hadn't used that thing since the prehistoric ages so she hoped that it would work at least efficiently if not anything above decent. Yuda also had to grow through her minimal supply of makeup to touch up a bit. Touch up to Yuda meant a coat of lip gloss and very tiny amount of mascara and just a very faint hint of perfume; yes, Yuda did classify perfume as makeup. Yuda sat on her vanity, taping the wood and resting her hand on her chin because the card game she was playing for boring after losing five matches straight. So her she was, waiting for a message back. On the brought side, Yuda would get to see some cute girls. The dark side of it all was actually having to go through the effort of looking nice. Speaking of looking nice, Yuda thought she looked okay, nude dress and heels with a pearl bracelet. Simple and casual, just like her. She hoped that a pearl necklace was enough to satisfy Amaris. If it didn't satisfy the president, Yuda was pretty sure she would let her borrow a necklace or something. Sighing, Yuda began to play with her now curled strands of hair. Her own thoughts were boring her now, but, like an answer to a prayer, Yuda received three messages simultaneously. "Well would you look at me, Mrs Popularity." Yuda said, smiling to herself.

To: Daisy
Judging from Amaris' text you didn't even update me on the travel plans. I'll just assume you'll be hitching a ride with them and meet you downstairs.

To: Amaris
Yea, I'll come with, I'm assuming Daisy's already down there so I'll be down in just a sec.

To: Naomi
Omg, shut up! It'll be useless looking nice just for you because I'm pretty sure you'll be going home with someone else xoxo

To: Abigail
Only wearing something simple so don't overshadow me too much, k? :*

Yuda got up from her vanity, butt numb and walked over to her bed to grab her purse."Lip gloss? Check! She named the items as she dropped them in her bag. "Phone? Check! Wallet just in case because you know how daisy is? Check! Tampons just in case of an emergency? Check! Mints? Check! Tiny bottle of perfume, you know, just in case? Check! And lastly, my Nintendo DS for when the party grinds to a halt? Check! After grocery listing the items that Shen might need for the event, Yuda gave herself one last look in the mirror and fixed herself a bit; looking all around her room for her necessities threw her hair off a bit. She sighed, already ready to head home even if it was just the beginning of the night and headed down stairs to meeting Amaris Nicholas and Daisy.

"My, oh, my, don't you look stunning?" Naomi should have known better than to be so easily flattered, but she was easily won over by compliments, and she knew she looked good. It was a sleek look, and she looked almost feline with her subtly winged eyes and slender frame. Still, even if she looked absolutely horrendous, Naomi was well aware that she could trust Audrey's compliments. The Alpha president had a penchant for brutal honesty- if Naomi looked bad, Audrey would certainly tell her so.

With a flirtatious smile, she pointedly looked the redhead up and down, commenting in a faux blase tone, "Not so bad, yourself."

She was making a severe understatement, of course. Audrey looked gorgeous. Audrey always looked gorgeous. The girl simply wouldn't settle for anything less.

"For important, top-secret Alpha Theta Pi presidential duties, of course!" A little red flag immediately went up, and Naomi raised her brows in a touch of exasperation. Yes, Naomi knew that Charlotte was... different, and she knew that Audrey loathed when the certain expectations of an alpha weren't met by said alphas, but...

Well, that was just it. Charlotte simply didn't fit, and what's more, the girl had no desire to. Sure, she did try to appease Audrey's demands, but she never changed herself. As far as Naomi could tell, Charlotte's priority was Charlotte, and the Little was not about to throw away who she was in order to conform to some admittedly twisted set of standards.

Naomi actually admired that about her, not that she would ever tell Audrey that.

"Nothing bad. Nothing you need to worry about. I just need to give our little black sheep of the family a little bit of TLC. You can have her back as soon as you get there."

Naomi knew the game by now. Audrey wasn't letting her get a word in edge ways, which suggested that Audrey was up to something of arguable moral standing. As the redhead spun around and headed down stairs, Naomi could only sigh in mild frustration.

"Kuso..."

Her phone buzzed again, and she chuckled at Yuda's message.

From; Yuda
Omg, shut up! It'll be useless looking nice just for you because I'm pretty sure you'll be going home with someone else xoxo

To; Yuda
jealous are we? ;) See you soon xx

Her phone buzzed again, twice, and she opted to read her little's text first.

From; Charlittle
Why am I being forced to ride alone with Audrey? Is my body going to be found in a shallow ditch miles away in a few days?

For a second, she felt a twinge of guilt. She's tough. She can handle whatever crazy scheme Audrey's got cooked up I'm sure.

To; Charlittle
I'm as lost as you are... if you die, I'll avenge you tho, so don't worry xx

Reading Archie's text, she only scoffed, and stuffed the phone into her purse with a roll of her eyes. "Moron..." She betrayed a smile before taking a final look in the mirror and heading downstairs. Smiling at Abby and Juliette, she nodded towards the uber waiting outside.

"Coming?"

The kiss Yaya placed upon Ben's cheek, left a soft lingering feel. As she disappeared back into the crowd, his hand moved from his side to his cheek. He felt where her kiss lingered and was still unsure if the last few minutes happened or if he's grown delusional. Ben slowly moved towards the edge of the crowd where he thought he had seen the other boys from the house gathering. He was stopped occasionally by alumni who knew his name and of the work he'd been doing within the community. He shook hands and teased and joked in a friendly manner, as though these older men and women were old family friends who never lost touch.

Ben's eyes wandered beyond each of their heads, always looking for her. He wanted to keep his eye on her, not because he didn't trust her, but because he didn't trust the guys who hung around her. Ben knew what their intentions were. Guys only ever want one thing and that's a girl - how he gets her and what he does with her is a different story. When they first met, Ben knew what he wanted. He wanted her - and eventually he got her. His intentions with her were different though. They had a connection and Ben wanted more of that; most of the guys Ben's age nowadays want nothing more than a girl they can slid into and toss aside in the middle of the night. They don't care about learning names or how her body moves, as long as they get their fill.

To keep himself from going crazy, Ben excused himself from the weighted grip of these wealthy men who held onto more than just memories of when they attended this event. He pulled his phone from his pocket, no messages. He opened the text from Abby and typed a returning message to her.

To: Abs
How about a drink before that dance? You here yet?

He slid his phone back into his pocket, worked around the crowd of old geezers that he was tired of listening to moan about 'the golden years' they experienced when they were 'young lads of the frat house.' Ben rolled his eyes and moved his way to the bar. He was just under 21 but more often than not, bartenders thought he looked old enough to pass up on carding him. He stood by Danny, who was sipping on his own drink at the bar, and ordered one for himself. "I'll take a Maker's and Ginger, thanks." The trick, Ben thought, was to not give the bartender an opportunity to even ask for an ID. It didn't stop the bartender, "ID, please, sir." Ben forced a smile, his hand slid back into his back pocket and pulled out his wallet that his girlfriend had given to him when they first started dating. He slipped his fake ID out instead of his real ID and held it up for the bartender to see. The man nodded and Ben put away his fake and wallet. Ben looked at Danny as the kid sipped on his drink, "Who're you waiting on, kid?" When Ben got his drink, he turned himself around on the bar. Leaning back on his elbows, Ben held a drink in hand while he stared out at the people crowding around the once open space. Ben sipped slowly on his drink. From afar, he could see Yaya sitting with Archie - Ben wasn't a huge fan, but he knew that if he walked over there right now and tried to interrupt whatever they were talking about, Yaya would believe Ben didn't change at all and he would lose what little trust they had started over with. It made him sweat though - right now, they weren't exclusive yet so technically anyone was free game, and that scared Ben.

"Audrey wanted to ride with Charlotte. She said she had to talk to her about some things," Juliette said to Naomi. She knew that Naomi likely already knew all of this, but it was her attempt at discretely trying to see if Naomi knew anything that Juliette didn't, that she would then add to the conversation. One of Juliette's defining traits was that she was pretty emotionally transparent. When things were bothering her, it was usually obvious in her demeanor. Knowing that Audrey probably only wanted to talk to Charlotte to yell at her about something was comforting, at least, considering that the only reason for why Juliette was really bothered by the situation, was because she was easily jealous. Even if she liked Naomi and Abigail all the same, just knowing that she was being excluded from Audrey's car made her feel like riding with her two other Alpha friends was a lesser option. Surprisingly, Juliette did her best once they were in the car, to not be such a downer. She felt like the night had potential to be fun, and as long as her buzz remained active, it would at least be bearable.

"Oooh, who are you texting?" Juliette grinned teasingly, when she noticed the smile that appeared on Abigail's face as she read a text. Juliette and Abby weren't best friends or anything, but given that they had rushed together, she definitely felt close to Abby. Really, though, Juliette felt that way about most of the Alphas. While some of them probably found her energetic tendencies, and flightiness to be overwhelming sometimes, there was no denying that Juliette really loved the Alpha house and all of its members. "She's in a hurry to get there because she's totally meeting up with someone. I can tell by that look on your face," Juliette giggled, looking from Naomi and then back to Abby as she spoke. "Who is he, Abby? You have to tell us, we're your sisters!" she pressed playfully, though she was genuinely curious about whoever it was that seemed to have Abby eager to get there. For all Juliette knew, it could have just been Ayala or another Alpha, but jumping to the conclusion that it was a boy, particularly a crush, was more entertaining. She loved drama, especially good and positive drama that wasn't going to end in the dissolution of friendships, so something like this wasn't out of character for Juliette to be intrigued over.

"Audrey wanted to ride with Charlotte. She said she had to talk to her about some things," Naomi nodded in acknowledgement before shooting the young Alpha a reassuring smile.

"Don't worry about those two- we both know that you're Audrey's favourite."

At Abby's compliment, she grinned slyly. "Well, of course. We're alphas, remember?... And you look gorgeous, as per usual."

As they got into the uber, Naomi's phone went again, and once she was seated, she grabbed her phone to reply.

From; Yuda
In your dreams sweetie, see you at the party and ALWAYS check the drink if someone offers you one.

Geez, and now my paranoia-meter is going to be on high all night. Cheers, Yuda.
She smiled ruefully as she slipped the phone back into her purse, only now noting the conversation going on around her.

"She's in a hurry to get there because she's totally meeting up with someone. I can tell by that look on your face."

"Oh?" Naomi's brow rose slightly, and a spark of mischievous curiosity glimmered in her eyes.

"Who is he, Abby? You have to tell us, we're your sisters!"

Naomi nodded sagely at Juliette's statement.

"Yep. Alpha rules."

Naomi was all too aware of the irony of her demanding -even jokingly- that someone else release the details about their love life. Her own was the dictionary definition of "it's complicated", and she hadn't exactly been open to her sisters with any info. But this was different. Sort of. Not really.

Abigail eyes widened whenever Juliette had asked her who was she texting. She wasn't really going to tell her but then brought up that they were all sisters and that meant something in the Alpha household. A gulp came over her as she continuously eyed Juliette and Naomi even a nervous chuckle could be heard, as well. Abigail bit her bottom lip as she tried to beat around the bush instead of answering her questions. "Uhm, what?" She responded then started to shake her head and waved her hand. "It's no one, honestly." Abigail said as Naomi interjected into the conversation, too.

Abigail swallowed hard again as she let out a sigh with an eye roll. She knew that she wasn't going to get out of not telling them anything so she might as well just tell them now. "Okay. I'll tell you guys but it must be kept on the down low." She eyed them both and pointed a direct index finger at them. She then proceeded to talk. "Well, before Ben and Ya Ya got together, Ben liked me but I shot him down, obviously. So, now that him and Ya Ya are on a break, we've been talking how we were before. It's been amazing, honestly." She opened up to them about who she's been texting and smiling along the ride. "Promise me that you guys won't say anything. Especially to Ya Ya. What I am doing isn't wrong, is it? It's completely harmless." She asked but was honestly scared and nervous of their responses but she knew that they were going to tell her how it is and she wouldn't want it any other way. "Now, if we're done here, I'd like to go inside, please."

The conversation between Andre and Mr. James is not that interesting, but Maddox knows better than to interrupt someone like Reid James. God forbid! "Hey Maddox, have you met Reid James? He's one of our prominent Fulton alum, you might have seen him on NBC." Andre says as if the man were so modest. Shooting the man his signature fake smile, he nods. "Of course, nice to finally meet you sir, you're quite a legend here". The interest in his voice is so convincing he almost believes it himself. There's an attempt to shake hands but something across the room catches Reid's attention, or rather someone. There's no need to look, Maddox already knows who. "Cyrus!" Much to Maddox's surprise, the blonde actually makes an effort to speak to his father, though it's short-lived and packed with sarcasm. The look on the man's face after Cyrus leaves makes Maddox just the slightest bit uneasy. For the most part, because it's the exact same look his father used to give him daily. A mixture of shame and disappointment. As difficult as it is, the disgust never shows on Mad's face and the conversation resumes. Not wanting to be part of it for longer than necessary, Maddox excuses himself to mingle with other guests. He's only known this man for less than two minutes and he already dislikes him. It's no surprise Cyrus avoids him as much as he possibly can.

Speak of the devil, the golden iPhone in Maddox's hand turns on with said devil's name flashing across the screen. Almost knowing what to expect, the Beta swiftly reads through the message with an involuntary roll of the eyes but can't hide the nervous smirk.

[From Cy: that suit would look better on my floor.]

[To Cy: please behave, or I'll have to have a serious talk with my future father in law]

Maddox has referred to Cyrus' father as "my future father-in-law" once before and the response he got from the blondie was amusing to say the least. He seemed almost flustered, which meant that Mad would be using the phrase several more times if it meant getting the same response. As he scrolls through missed texts, Abby's name comes across the screen from earlier that morning. Realizing she, as well as some of the other Alphas aren't here yet, he decides to send her a quick complaint.

[To Abby: Where are you? If I don't get to skip out on this thing, neither do you]

Once sent, he picks up his step, headed straight to the bar where several people have already gathered. He flashes a quick wave and smile to anyone looking but is more determined to get a drink than to make conversation. Archie is clearly busy with some girl he most likely doesn't even know the name of and has somehow managed to get himself a nice drink. Mad can't help but feel a little bit proud of him, making a mental note to tell him later. Just a few seats away, Cyrus has somehow managed to get himself one as well, not that that's surprising. Pulling out his own ID, the Beta slides it across the counter to the bartender. "Black Russian please" he says simply, body purposely bumping against Cyrus as he leans forward but never looking his way. "Thank you" he adds once the drink is finished, giving the bartender the simplest of flirty smiles. "I may need a few more of these, it's going to be a long night..." he says, knowing that's true in more ways than one.

Juliette had not been expecting Abigail to reveal that she was texting Ben. That in itself was surprising, simply because it seemed random, but what made it shocking was that everyone knew that Ben and Ya Ya had dated. Ya Ya was Abigail's Big, and of all people, going after your Big's ex seemed like a bad idea. Juliette wanted to pry further, and ask if Ya Ya knew that they had been flirting previously, and back again now, and if so, was she okay with it? She wanted to ask why Abigail even wanted to cross into that territory, given how she was sure everyone would think the same thing that Juliette was thinking, about how it was a bad idea, when they found out. It wasn't like Ben was that amazing, as far as Juliette knew, to warrant sabotaging a friendship over. Then again, she barely knew him, but regardless, it didn't seem smart. More than that, it didn't seem like something that Abby would normally do, which made the situation all the more noteworthy, because it suggested that maybe Abby wanted something real to come out of this situation. It was noteworthy, yes, but that didn't mean that Juliette thought that it was a good idea, and Abby calling it harmless automatically had Juliette raising an eyebrow in skepticism.

"I'm not an expert on relationships, but... that definitely doesn't sound harmless," Juliette admitted. She didn't want to worry Abby or make it seem like she was putting her down for her choices, but it was hard for Juliette not to be honest. As she hated stated, she wasn't an expert on romance. Actually, she was far from it. Given her own insecurities, she had never been the type to allow herself to trust and commit to anyone. For most of her life, even basic flirting had left her feeling uncomfortable because any sort of physical attention forced her to act extremely self-critical. However, Juliette did know a thing or do about friendships, and this just didn't seem like something that was going to end well. It seemed like the right thing to do to at least warn Abby that maybe it was a subject that deserved a little bit more thought. At the same time, Juliette didn't necessarily care that much, and she was close enough with Abby to agree that she wouldn't mention anything. She knew Abby was smart, and she also knew that she knew Ya Ya better than her, so if Abby thought it wasn't a big deal, Juliette wanted to trust that it wouldn't be a big deal, too. "I won't say a word, though. I'll focus my attention on finding Naomi her match made in heaven, instead," she said, already slipping out of the car to allow the girls to do the same. Once Naomi was out, Juliette clasped her hand, signaling that she wasn't going to shake her that easily, just because they had gotten to the event. "So, you're friends with Nick, right? The smart boy? Well, I'm friends with him too, and I totally thinks he likes you as more than just a friend!" Really, she had little evidence to base that on. Calling Nick a friend was a stretch in itself for Juliette. Anyone who was kind to her usually received the title, but in reality, Nick was just a tutor to her. He humored her invasive personal questions from time to time, which was how she knew that he was friends with Naomi, but he had never said anything about liking Naomi as more than a friend... which made sense, given that he wasn't even interested in girls romantically. Even that wasn't enough to stop Juliette from somehow reaching that conclusion, and actually believing it herself, in the sake of having something to be excited about, though.

Yaya bit her lip in concern as Cyrus teased her she wasn't used to this behavior from him which told her that he was definitely not feeling comfortable. She absently leaned on him momentarily, just a innocent gesture to let him know that he had her full support. "I always miss you when you're gone Cy." She teased back for appearance sake.

Her phone vibrated loudly against the countertop of the bar and she picked it up to see a text from Cas asking her if she wanted her usual. She bit her lip and glanced at Ben across the bar before quickly typing out Yes please, please be discreet I don't want Ben to start shit with you. She knew that Ben would obviously lose it if he found out that she was taking pills from Cas. She loved him but Ben wasn't very understanding when it came to things like that and she understood with his past and all but she wasn't addicted to pills or anything she just wanted a pick me up here and there.

"So, was that you I saw kissing Benjamin earlier?" She turned her head back to Archie when she heard him mention Ben, "You going back to basics huh?" She rolled her eyes at Archie. "He is not basic, he is sweet and kind and honest. You could learn something about that. Maybe get in a relationship instead of having a different girl in your bed every night." She said it in a teasing manner but the truth was that it kind of got under her skin when people said that Ben was boring.

Yaya always wanted stability because she never really got it growing up, not until she moved in with her Dad. Her grandma tried to give her stability but if there's one thing her grandmother lacked: stability. Whether she was jetting off with a new lover to Barcelona or Paris, or she was surprising Yaya with a day trip to Manhattan for some shopping, or she was hosting some lavish party on a fucking Tuesday night. Ben was stable and she loved that about him. They had a routine and shared plans and goals. She met his family and he met hers, they had dinner at her Dad's house every Wednesday. Even her sorority sisters would joke about how her and Ben were basically already married. She could see herself marrying him and moving into a pretty house not too far from both of their parents maybe having kids, you know the American dream. It scared the shit out of her. Part of her wondered if she allowed the attention of other guys to spice things up or if deep down she was testing him. She knew his friends thought that for sure.

She glanced around for her fellow Alphas when she briefly thought that she hadn't seen many of them around yet so she sent out a group text to Audrey, Abigail, Juliette, Charlotte, and Naomi that states Hey where is everyone? I'm on drink two and nobody seems to be here

"Okay. I'll tell you guys but it must be kept on the down low." The mischievous spark was still there, and Naomi leaned in furtively, only for her smile to freeze on her face.

"Well, before Ben and Ya Ya got together, Ben liked me but I shot him down, obviously. So, now that him and Ya Ya are on a break, we've been talking how we were before. It's been amazing, honestly. Promise me that you guys won't say anything. Especially to Ya Ya. What I am doing isn't wrong, is it? It's completely harmless."

Fuck. Fuckfuckfuckfuckfuck.

Naomi's inner monologue had turned especially expletive, and for good reason. How? How could Abby not think this is a horrible situation?

It had always been a rule, hadn't it? A cardinal part of both the girl and the guy code. Don't mess around with your friend's ex.

It was bad enough that they were Alpha sisters, but Yaya was Abby's Big! Somehow, that made the entire situation feel even worse.

It was none of her business, of course. And Naomi knew that. She shouldn't have pried in the first place, and now she wished she hadn't. She would have felt so much better if she'd remained blissfully ignorant of the entire scandalous affair.

Hey- let's not freak out, okay? Yaya is sex on a fucking stick. She's probably totally over Ben and out scoping the party for someone new and she's bound to be able to find someone, let's be real so-

Try as she might to persuade herself that it would all be alright, the sinking feeling in her gut assured her otherwise. Yaya was one of her best friends- what was she supposed to do? Lie? Feign ignorance? Tell her?

But she couldn't screw over Abby, either!

See? This is why I hate relationships. No good comes out of this shit. Ever.

This entire train of thought occurred in only a couple of seconds, before being interrupted by Juliette in a bid to change the mood.

"I'll focus my attention on finding Naomi her match made in heaven, instead." Naomi followed Juliette out of the car, rolling her eyes at the comment as the younger Alpha moved to clasp her hand.

"So, you're friends with Nick, right? The smart boy? Well, I'm friends with him too, and I totally thinks he likes you as more than just a friend!"

Naomi couldn't help it, she laughed. "Yeah... no. Something tells me I'm not really his type."

As they walked into the party, Naomi paused in the entrance, and looked around admiringly. The GiTGwP party seemed to get prettier every year, and this was no exception. Glancing down to her phone, she opened a message from Yaya, which only helped the guilt of the prior car confession to come back full force.

From; Yaya
Hey where is everyone? I'm on drink two and nobody seems to be here

To; Yaya
Don't worry, the fun has arrived. ;) we're at the entrance, come find us

Just as she was putting her phone back, it buzzed again, and she read the new text from Archie.

From; Archie
I doubt I'm the first person to say this to you tonight - and I definitely won't be the last - but damn Omi, you look amazing.

Brows rising in slight surprise, Naomi looked through the crowd around her, searching for a particular face. When she finally found the right one, she met Archie's eyes, and grinned brightly. Pointedly looking over him, she shot him a teasing smirk that clearly said, "You don't look so bad yourself."

Danny and Ben made small talk while it was just the two of them. His glass dinged against Danny’s and the boys laughed at their joke toast. Ben wasn’t incredibly close with Danny, or the friends he listed off from his wait list, but he was close enough to delve into conversation with them whenever they were around. Of course, Ben respected the kids for the effort they put into these events and into the frat, but in all honesty, Ben couldn’t be bothered making deep connections with many people anymore. Not because he didn’t care about people, but more so because he reached his limit on how many people he can give attention to at once. He was a people person indeed, but a guy can only take having so many deep connections with people before it exhausted him. He blamed it on the stress that came with the break from Ayala.

Ben knocked the rest of his drink back into his mouth, expanding his cheeks to hold the liquid while he slowly drinks the stinging liquor. He lifted the empty glass in a gesture of gratitude to both the bartender and to Danny. Ben quickly pushed the rest of the liquids in his mouth down into his stomach, and he sharply exhaled. Hayden had snuck up behind Danny just seconds before, and as Ben was readying himself to walk off, he tapped both boys on the shoulder, β€œBoys, enjoy yourselves tonight. Just don’t embarrass anyone,” and with that, he was off. Pulling his phone out of his pocket, Ben sent a text to Abigail.

To: Abs
Girl, where are you??

Abigail looked at Juliette and shook her head. "It totally is harmless. We haven't done anything but talk and text." She muttered as Juliette said that she was going to keep quiet about it, Abigail gave her a firm nod of the head and chuckled when she said that she was going to look for Naomi a special someone. She remained silent for a little while as the vehicle finally came to a stop, she had pitched in her amount of money to pay the driver and got out of the vehicle first. Abigail straightened herself up and her clothing then turned to face Juliette and Naomi. "Remember, not a word." She muttered towards them as she turned heel towards them now. "I'll see you guys on the inside." She said as she started her small trek onto the inside, her phone chimed twice in her purse. It was Maddox and Ben. She shook her head at Maddox's text but couldn't help but smile at Ben's text. She started to type a reply towards them both but was stopped at the door. Abigail showed the proper items and was admitted inside.

To: Maddy
LOL. I just walked in, love. I'll search for you later. ;)

To: Ben β™₯
I am looking for you. Are you still by the bar?

She sent those texts and squinted her eyes as she looked for Ben and tried her best to avoid anybody else before then. It wasn't anything personal but she knew if she'd talk to anyone else before Ben, she'd engage in a long conversation with them and god knows how long they'll talk and who else would interject. Abigail checked her phone repeatedly as she really hoped that Ben would text her back sooner rather than later.

Abigail needed to talk to him about what had just went down but maybe he needed to talk to her, as well. She didn't really bother to think about it but knew that if something was going on, Ben would definitely tell her.

To: Abs
I’m headed towards the door, did you just walk in?

Ben texted Abby as he looked for her. As Ben walked, he did his best to keep his eyes peeled away from Ayala and Archie. The last thing he wanted to do was set himself off. He couldn’t help but peek back occasionally at the girl he claimed to be the love of his life. The sight of Archie so close to his girlfriend – or not girlfriend – made him hot with anger. Benji redirected his attention to looking for his friend, Abigail. He wasn’t sure if the girl thought they were more than friends or not, though. They had once been more than friends, but things changed. Though, now they’re all changing again. Ben and Ayala were on a break and he and Abigail rekindled a bit of that fire they used to have.

As Ben made his way through the little clumps of people, he spotted Abby. Abigail managed to move herself through the sea of people before her as her eyes were directed towards the bar. Her phone chimed in her purse once again as she just waved it off as it couldn't have been Ben since she was on the move towards him. He smiled and strolled up to her, one hand in his pocket, with confidence. β€œAb,” He put the one hand out that wasn’t in a pocket and offered it to Abby. Her ears twitched when someone said one of her many nicknames and it was Ben, standing there with one hand in his pocket and the other extended out towards her. Being her, Abigail didn't bother to give him a handshake but a hug instead as she gave him a light kiss on the cheek with a little chuckle. Ben pulled her in to give her a hug and light kiss on the cheek. β€œYou look beautiful.” Ben pulled away from her slightly and looked her up and down, smiling.

"Thanks. You look handsome." She complimented him back as she looked up at him. "So, what's up? I know I am late to the party. Did I miss anything new or exciting?" Abigail asked him as they stood there in the middle of the doorway. She pushed herself and Ben, of course it had no effect, out of the way so that they wouldn't be in the way of the stragglers. While she waited for Ben to respond to her, she whipped her phone out really quick to send out some messages and even read Ben's text, which didn't matter now.

To: Archie :D
Hey! I am here by the door. Talking to Ben.

To: Yuda :)
You here yet, girl? I want to see how stunning you look.

Ben shuffled his feet to the side as Abigail attempted to move the stoic man from the center of the doorway. Abigail had pulled her phone out to check her messages. As she did so, Ben responded to her. "Typical college shit. Ya and I may or may not be back together. I don't know," Ben shook his head and ran his hand over his hair. ”We're sort of doing this 'non-exclusive dating, getting to know each other all over again' thing. I don't really know what it means, but yeah." Ben put air quotes around his words and shrugged, he sported a humble smile to hide the pain he felt from it. "Neither new, nor exciting. How about that drink though?" Ben's humble smile stuck on his face as he extended his elbow for Abs to grab onto so they could walk to the bar together. "What about you Abs? Holding out for someone special tonight?" Ben knew there was a fire between them, but he knew not of her intentions. Perhaps tonight was the night to explore, Ben thought.

Abigail placed her phone back inside of her purse and gave Ben her full attention. She nodded her head at the words that came over his lips and even did a few expressions with her face. She didn't know how to take the whole him and Ya Ya might or might not be together sentence though she did like Ben but don't know if she would ever date him. Abigail shrugged her shoulders at the thought then looked at Ben as he held out his elbow. She took it, of course, and chuckled at his question as they waltzed over to the bar.

"You know me better than that, Ben." She commented as they made it over towards the bar. "I'll just have an Iced Tea, please." She said towards the bartender then looked back over at Ben. "But to answer your question, no. I am not giving up anything tonight or in the near future. You know should know that." She responded towards him as the bartender came back with her Iced Tea.

She thanked the bartender and handed him a ten dollar bill and told him to keep the change. "What about you, Benji?" Abigail asked as she took a sip from her tea then eyed him. "Are you holding out for anyone?" She continued as she slurped on her tea a little bit more.

Ben leaned on the bar as the bartender came over to ask for orders. "Another Maker's and ginger," He turned his body to lean against the bar facing Abigail; behind her head, was full view of Yaya. Ben peered over Abigail's shoulder momentarily. He noticed Yaya paying full attention to the men that surrounded her. His stomach felt like it was a bottomless pit.

"Well, you never know. Maybe you'll find someone that you like enough to have a little fun with," Ben smiled at Abi but thought of Yaya. Ben turned his attention back to Abigail and took a sip of the drink the bartender handed him and slipped the gentleman his card, telling him to keep the account open. "I've got someone in mind," Ben smiled slyly at Abigail and winked at her as he moved the drink back towards his mouth. "I guess, tonight will be a night of mystery in regards to who goes home with who." Ben teased.

Abigail nodded her head at Ben's comments then looked at him whenever he said that he had someone in mind. "I bet its Ya ya." She muttered as she played with the ice inside of cup with the straw then looked back towards him. The last comment of his threw her off a little as she shrugged her shoulders with a smile, her gaze went back towards him. "I guess but we shall see." She chuckled then left her cup on the counter as she sighed a little bit. "So, I have some more people that I need to see. But don't forget to save me a dance, stud." She said as she kissed his cheek again but waited for him to say something else before she would walk off.

Ben furrowed his eyebrows to the mumbling Abigail let spill just loud enough for Ben to hear. He didn't respond though because he knew she wasn't all wrong. Yaya was the girl Ben had in mind but Abigail wasn't necessarily off his mind either. He had a crush on her long before Yaya was in the picture, she was just always the one to shoot him down so eventually, he had to move on. Ben downed his drink in a gulp and ordered another one - tonight was going to be a long one.

As Abigail moved in to kiss Ben on the cheek, he grabbed her around the waist, pulling her into him. Ben left a kiss on the edge of her neck and jawline. He released her and stepped back a bit to give her space. "And see, we shall. I'll come find you for that dance." Ben's smile was playful and flirtatious now, almost seductive. Ben winked at the girl and walked off, letting Abigail take in the moment and giving her the opportunity to see her other friends. Ben made his way towards the far end of the pool, where he sat with his drink in hand away from the ever-growing noisy crowd.

Ben's last actions stunned Abigail right where she stood. She was completely frozen as she watched him walk away after a wink. She didn't know what to say or how to respond as she stood there with her mouth opened slightly. After the display that he just showed, she wasn't sure if she wanted to dance with him now or not but she was taken away from her thoughts by the ping of her cell phone within her purse. It was Ya ya. Just what she needed.

To: Ya Ya :)
We're here, girl. I'm close to the bar. Where are you?

She sent the text then started to type a text towards Archie.

To: Archie :D
By the bar. Just FYI.

She then sent that text and just stood over by the bar, waiting to see who was going to approach her first as Ben's actions still plagued her mind a little.

As delicious as the drink was and as tempting as it is to have a dozen more, Maddox decides against it. He's never been a fan of getting drunk, mainly because he'd rather have full control over his on actions. Luckily a couple of heavy drinks aren't enough to send him mumbling and stumbling. Tipsy perhaps, but still in his wits. "You will have a long night if I have any say in it.". The corner of Mad's lips curl upwards the slightest bit. There are infinitely many answers to that statement, but the blonde is clearly not looking for a response this time. "So, you've met the famous Reid James tonight. Did you know he's a news anchor?" The forced enthusiasm in Cyrus' voice pulls a soft chuckle out of Maddox. It's amazing what one can do for the sake of appearances. "Of course, he's everything I thought he'd be" he states with is fictitious admiration, knowing Cyrus will understand. That's perhaps the most honest sentence Maddox has said all night. With the way Cyrus talked about Reid James, Maddox imagined him to be just like his own father, and that he was. Two tequila shots are slid across the bar in the blonde's direction, causing Mad's eyebrows to raise, ready with a comment on how he'd probably end up driving them both home tonight but is momentarily distracted by the scene just a few chairs down. He watches as Archie maneuvers his way through a conversation with three girls, and can't help but send a tease in his direction as well as responding to Abby's incoming message.

[To: Archie – I see you take after your big brother well :) ]

[To: Abby - Good. You're the only girl I want to dance with tonight]

As flirtatious as that may sound, Abigail knows him well enough to know there's no hidden meaning behind it. "A Manhattan and a Cosmopolitan, and whatever my friend here wants,". With a turn of his head, Maddox spots Blake Tyler now standing near them ordering several drinks. After glancing at his own empty glass, he shoots the bartender a quick wave. "Those are on me he says, shooting his usual heart winning smile in Cyrus and Blake's general direction before turning back to the bartender. "As well as a Gin and Tonic, please and thank you". One more drink can't hurt, and he certainly isn't anywhere near being drunk. The bartender slides each of them their drinks and Maddox doesn't hesitate to take his own.

"Maddy!" drink in hand, Maddox turns in the direction of the unfamiliar voice. The girl's face doesn't look all that familiar either, but she clearly knows who he is and for his own good, he needs to remember who she is. "How've you been? You look really good in that suit" she chimes, while Maddox scrambles to remember her name. Abby...Annie...?

"Allie?" the satisfied smile on the girl's face immediately tells him he's spot on. "Well, look at you. As beautiful as ever" He compliments, shading her cheeks a light pink. Mad's always had a knack for remembering names and faces and it always comes in handy. As Allie carries on more of a one sided conversation, Maddox's eyes drift towards a lonely brunette in the middle of the room. One he actually remembers. Setting his empty glass aside, he sends Allie the most convincing apologetic smile he can manage. "I'm so sorry, Allie, I don't mean to be rude but there's something very urgent I need to talk to someone about. I will search for you later and we can have that dance, yes?" he says, leaving her with a wink and a fresh drink. He also shoots Cyrus a quick I'll be seeing you later look before heading towards Eliza. The less time spent near the blondie, the better. As he walks closer to the brunette, she finally notices him and he responds with a soft smile.

"Alone by coincidence or by choice?"

Yuda wasn't very excited to be there, she forgot to ask one of her friends to meet up so she didn't really know what to do but to walk in awkwardly all by herself. Well, she now had to decide what she was gonna do within the next few hours. She could just call and uber and head home, of course; Amaris would definitely not be pleased, but, hey, she made it this far and Yuda thinks that enough for her. Unfortunately, her conscience wouldn't cooperate and she walked straight through the front doors. If she didn't find anyone and things got too boring, she always had her Nintendo DS to back her up, okay yea she may look like a loser, but Thetas weren't all that known for being the coolest kids on the block As she headed into the venue, a miracle happened, her phone buzzed. Yuda sighed a breath of relief because she wouldn't have to be alone anymore.

To: Abigail
Just got here, where are you? I'm alone and I definitely do not want to look like a loner in this event. Not that I care about social status or anything but it would be nice to have someone to hang out with right now.

Yuda realize she had been rambling through text and just decided to hit send. She would run into Abby on her own or get a text back. She preferred the former option because that way a random dude wouldn't come up to her and flirt not knowing that she plays for the other team. First order of business, head to the bar. Yuda doesn't drink at all, she's just like the chips and olives they serve. Hopefully those would hold her down until the end of the night. "I should've brought snacks" She mumbled to herself under her breath. Yuda was surprised she forgot something so vital, being in a rush must really change your psych. As she got to the bar, it had felt like Moses hadn't parted the sea, Abby was there. Yuda did her second sigh of relief that night-it probably wasn't going to be that last-and walked over to her best friend. Abby! She yelled to her back. Glad I found you, thought a random dude wasn't gonna hit on me if I stayed alone for too long. Before Yuda could express more emotions than usual, she noticed something was wrong with Abigail. All the basic stuff Shen learned from Psychology, glazed eyes, slouched poster, absent mindedness, it was all there. "Hey," She snapped her fingers in front of Abigail's face to get her attention. What's up, you look lost. Something bothering you. She took a seat next to her friend.
