Jayze looked at the supervisor curiously, blinked down at the pill she offered him in confusion. She expected him...to take a pill? To what, enhance something? So, what, it was some sort of power-inducing steroid? "I'm pretty sure parents are supposed to warn their children not to take drugs from strangers...," he trailed off, taking the pill from her and studying it before swallowing it down with one gulp and smiling. "Buuut, I wouldn't know anything about that." He smirked to himself as he grabbed his scythe and waited for whatever was going to happen, to happen. He waited a second...thirty...a minute...
Jayze opened his eyes and frowned. "Nothing's--woah!" he suddenly gasped, his scythe sparking up so brightly he had to look away. When they adjusted, he looked back at it and grinned sadistically. "Oh, this will do just fine director," he said in a far-away voice. He turned to the bug, still facing away from where he was, and ran up to it, taking his chance and jumping high into the air, bouncing off the soles of his feet. "Take this, you over-sized insect!" As he descended, he fell towards the bug, scythe in front. When he landed, the scythe dug into the bug's back, electricity sparking wildly from his hands and the weapon itself, as he slid all the way down the back, finally landing on the ground with an 'oof.'
He had to cover his eyes when the electricity coursed quickly through the bug's abdomen and spread throughout its entire body, tearing it apart molecule-by-molecule before, finally, it stopped altogether, the bug exploding into billions of particles of nonexistent pieces that ended up just fading away. Jayze dug around in his pocket at the last moment and held up his ID card, collecting the soul the demon left behind. With that, he dropped his scythe and fell on his back, smiling up at the sky. "I think I'll take...a nap..." before drifting off to an exhausted sleep.

Kieran loooked over to where Naverine was, then to Jayze and the supervisor, pausing to see Jayze's scythe spark, What the..? he jumped back as he and the scythe approached the bug, "Woah!" he gasped as he watched Jayze jump higher than any normal human could jump, and dug his weapon into the demon's back. He almost fell out of the tree he was in as the body caused a small tremor, and then faded, revealing the demon soul.
"Congrats man." He muttered as Kieran jumped out, jogging towards the now unconscious body of Jayze, taking seven of the souls as he approached him...

Blake was attacking the demon along with a lot of the team when Jayze comes out of no where with his scythe except one thing's different, his scythe was emitting electricity! 'is he like me?' Blake thought to himself wondering if Jayze could possibly have been a demon as well. After Jayze had killed the demon black blood was scattered everywhere Blake went in front of Naverine so she wouldn't be drenched in it I mean she seemed to seclude herself from the group so maybe being friendly would make her feel more easy around her comrades. The blood went on Blake some on his face but he also had to check on Jayze who was lying unconscious on the floor. Blake ran there collecting seven demon souls on the way and he crouched down to Jayze next to Keirnan and checked Jayze's pulse. He had one luckily and was still alive.

Candice Evergreen.
Candice kept fighting against the huge insect demon knowing that they were only damaging it, would soon run out of energy and die, when Jayze killed it with a huge electric scythe Candice was amazed about how much power he had and was jealous about how much stronger he was then her. But she repelled those thoughts when black demon blood splattered. She dodged most of it but got some of it on her. She collected seven souls and started going over to the hive to get the souls that the insects stole but the supervisor stopped her and another helicopter came with back-up in it. "Okay everyone hurry up, collect your souls, and get into the helicopter now." Candice went inside the helicopter. The supervisor left and brought Jayze, Blake, and Kiernan in as well, because they got their souls. She rushed the other students to hurry. The back up went to the hive setting up bombs.

Navrine readied another arrow, taking a few quick glimpses to check for the others positions. Until finally stopping on Jayze who was standing around talking to the doctor. "I knew it, worthless humans, worthless cat people!" She growled, shaking her head at the sight. Upon opening her eyes Jayze took back his scythe something just felt, different. She lowered her bow, falling to curiosity despite the current situation. A minute passed almost like a heartbeat. That annoying face seemed almost serious for a moment before a light sparked from the weapon blocking most of her view. She struggled to watch, her eyes widening as the sadistic grin took his face.
Charging towards it, jumping, a single slash. The creature seemed to be electrocuting, the intensity so much it began to tear apart. First it was Blake wit simple running, now this, this thing with his glowing weapon. She fell motionless, stuck staring at the scene that had just occurred. Bow disappearing as her focus changed. Black blood began to spray out violently, and before she could even notice it, Blake was right there, in front of her. She could feel a slight wind come from the bursting of the creature. Yet it didn't seem like even a single drop of the blood touched her.
Regaining slight control, she reached forward, going to place a hand on his back. Instead, Blake ran off too check on Jayze. "I feel dog in him." She muttered to herself, "It's strange." Upon addressing anyone by saying dog, it generally brought a small shred of respect to the person. She shook it off, returning to her normal self. "Part dog or not! Human is human! Annoying, greedy, selfish, stupid human! " She closed her eyes, thinking back on the two things she witnessed. Blake ran quickly, with precision and balance. Jayze did something unnatural with his weapon. The 'humans' she was coming to despise were actually surpassing her far more than she knew. What if everyone had such abilities except her? "I won't lose. I will train, train, train, and train again. " She walked forward looking at all the loose demon souls.
Quietly pulling out her ID as the others were doing, pausing hesitantly just after three souls were absorbed. This was not right. At the rate she was damaging it it would have taken much much longer to take down that thing. Jayze did pretty much all the work. Navrine put up her ID, almost wishing she could give the souls back. She walked slowly trying to think back on how it was possible for those two to do such things. It just.... normal humans couldn't do that right? "I must not lose.." She whispered as she climbed into the second helicopter.

Jayze waved her off, getting off and walking to the door. He didn't feel like he had any injuries. He felt fine, actually, aside from a bit of a headache. "I'm fine. I'm gonna see the others," he told her before leaving. The lady allowed him to go. He walked down the hall, finally reaching the lounge where he spotted some of the others. He sighed in relief, before covering it up and beaming widely. "I'm glad you guys are alright!" He paused a moment, his smile faltering as he leaned against the wall and scratched his head. "Uh, but what happened with the mission? Did we win?"

Quickly eating, Naverine hurried for the lounge to catch the first bit of peace it would contain. Covering her head as she thought back over the mission. She saw a few things that should have been impossible for humans, what exactly was going on? Those two, they stepped above a cat's level of gathering her interest, but that was still not enough to make her work with them completely. She was herself, she would not listen to humans, or cat people a like. Her only friends were the bow by her side, er, summoned by her side, and dogs. She would watch as people passed either through the room, or came in to sit down. Was everyone here capable of such things? What was that? Why did she feel like the weakest yet again?
"They have power." She muttered to herself, glancing between people. The time must have been passing by without her realization. The smell of food was fading away. "I will beat them." She looked about the room again, as if paranoid that someone would listen in on her own conversation. "Practice, it is all in practice. If I train not only in the training area, but in my room at night. I should get double the training finished right? Yes, yes that is right."
She quickly stood as another entered the room. That guy, that guy that had the scythe glowing. She walked towards him, ignoring his comments and questions. Stopping right in front of him to look over him very carefully. No matter how hard she tried, this boy was an average human. No better then any other cat person. But how, how was he capable of such? She let out a mental growl, unable to figure out why she thought this one was standing above other cat people. This one, and that other boy, why were they breaching the barrier between cat and dog?
Naverine narrowed her eyes, more annoyed with herself than the boy in front of her. She wanted to leave, train, something that would clear her head. She raised her right hand, again showing the peace sign as she excused herself. Walking towards her room to start her own training. That's right, here she couldn't be bothered, at least, hopefully she wouldn't be bothered.

"We accomplished the mission. As for what happened you gained some kind of ability that got your scythe to emit electricity...how exactly did you do that?" Candice said. She needed to know she had to get stronger!
Blake Powers.
Blake caught up with Naverine and when she closed her door he knocked on it and said, "Training's better when you have a sparring partner. You get the experience of a real battle."

Kieran only flopped down onto the couch that decorated the lounge. He sighed and leaned on his elbow, watching the others as he slowly fell asleep on the couch, letting his head fall onto his arm, he let out a quiet snore, oblivious to Naverine, Blake and the others pass by, Today was so tiring, so many things happened at once. He thought back to his family over in the city, I wonder if Reese would enjoy this job more than I am.
He mentally shook his head, somewhat dreaming, and let loose his train of thought to dreams...

Jayze was about to go find a more comfortable place to be, like that sofa seat, when he was stopped by a girl stepping in front of him. He blinked dumbly at her, not sure what she expected him to do. Naverine, he recalled was her name. He waited a little uncomfortably as she scrutinized him, wondering if she was going to say anything anytime soon, but she never did and ended up walking away. "Ookay," he mumbled to himself, seeing Blake start down the hall after her for whatever reason.
He turned his attention to Candice when she explained what happened. He suddenly remembered all that happened; the giant bug demon, the dire situation, the pill, the lightning, the power... A huge grin suddenly spread across his face and he jumped on the couch next to Kieran, standing on it rather than sitting. "I really am awesome, aren't I?" he rhetorically asked, puffing out his chest. "I can't really tell you how I did the lightning trick. I guess I'm just too cool for logic." He knew the pill was the cause, but they didn't need to know that, especially now that it probably wore off and he wouldn't be able to pull that off again. "It's okay to praise me, you guys, go ahead. I'm not bashful," he snickered to himself, letting his feet go so he could plop on the couch.

Candice thought to herself, 'this boy...he's got the brain of a monkey yet he has so much power! Something so powerful that i can't obtain it. And the worst part is he doesn't even know how it happened!' Candice created a gun and pointed it to the boy. "You're worthless. You don't deserve that power." Canfice stated. Candice then walked closer to him, and said, "If you want to be praised then earn your power...don't be blessed with them." With that she walked to the training room her gun still at hand.
When Candice made it to the training area she thought to herself "I will blow this place up if this technology screws around with me today." "Training session three." Candice said creating diferent types of sessiojs earlier on. "Command recognized." The technology said and Candice began her training not doing that well due to her lack of energy from the earlier fight.
Blake Powers.
"Well if you want to train with me come to the lounge and we'll go to the training area." Blake said walking away. "Naverine's nice but she has to open up..." Blake thought to himself.
When Blake made it to the lounge June was gone. Blake sat down and asked, "So what's up?" Jayze and Kiernan were okay but Jayze seemed to be a show off and he didn't really get much interaction with Kiernan. He was also wondering what happened with Jayze...could he be part demon as well...Blake dispelled the thought.

Naverine leaned against the door, listening to the voice on the other side. A sparring partner? Was this guy an idiot? She used a bow, a relatively long ranged weapon that could only be kind of used like a staff. Even then, she was not particularly skilled with close range yet. Remaining quiet she waited to see if the proposition would really go any where. She didn't like the idea of letting someone into her room let alone train with others. She wanted to train harder than them, not with them. She closed her eyes, listening as his foot steps faded away. That's right, Cat people only stick around if they think they can get what they want. Otherwise, they just walk away.
"Id only he tried a more persistent approach." She muttered to herself, pausing at the words. What then? What would happen if he was more persistent, her response was still unlikely to come. "Maybe, maybe it would not have made a difference at all." Naverine sighed lightly, pushing herself off the door. She didn't want to go to the lounge, she didn't want to go to the training room with the others. She didn't want to acknowledge their existence and follow their whims. "I don't want to be... human.."

Jayze waved at Blake when he came inside the lounge, but his attention was quickly diverted over to the only girl left in the room. "You're worthless. You don't deserve that power." He gave her a questioning look, tensing up as she neared him. Just what was her problem? Telling him something like that. Of course he deserved that power. It's not like he did anything bad with it. In fact, he used it to save their butts. "If you want to be praised then earn your power...don't be blessed with them." He watched her walk away with a bit of a glare.
"You'd think she'd be grateful," he murmured, shifting on the couch. "What's with the girls around here? I feel like it's hard to keep up..." he trailed off when he noticed Kieran sleeping. Sleeping when he should be paying attention to him. Jayze huffed and poked him. With no response, he pushed him lightly. Again, there was no response, so he huffed once again, leaned in real close, and... "Wake up, you moron!!" he shouted as loudly as possible, right in Kieran's ear. "Pay attention to me and don't sleep! I'm telling a story here!"

Kieran woke up with a start, coming close to punching whoever had shouted in his ear, screaming with what would be read as "asicgvwrlvkLAVUABJTVasdfghjkl" flexing his now numb left arm that he had used as a pillow, "What." He glared at Jayze, but his glare quickly softened, "Oh, hi. That was cool what you did. Y'know..." He let out a yawn and looked around, "Where is everyone? I just kinda... Blacked out." he looked around, it was pretty much only himself, Jayze, and Blake. He sighed, "Good... Shoot, what time is it?"
Kieran continued to mumble, switching from subject to subject until he snapped to attention, "WAIT. So how did you do that crazy stunt thing anyways?!" he poked Jayze..

"I don't want to be human" She muttered again, making her way across the room bow now in hand. "I am a dog person." Her mind flashed to the glowing scythe, cutting through the beast. Why, why was such an incompetent human capable of such things. She wanted to know the secret, she wanted that power. The power to be above them. "Ah! Idiot! I can do this with my own strength." She lifted her bow, pulling the string a little too hard. The string sprung early, veering the arrow off. Her mind was being to fogged to shoot straight, why, why was she letting cat people get to her? She threw down the bow, it disappearing as it left her hands. Grabbing her head as she tried to shake loose of the thoughts.
And that other one, how did he train his body to move like such? Neither of them acted like normal humans, like those filthy cat people. She closed her eyes, even noticing it herself that thoughts and words were contradicting one another. "Strength is best found through practice and hardship!" She growled, "I need to train myself!" She opened her eyes, finding that her knees were touching the ground. The power of that attack, the electrifying ability that seemed to be nothing but raw power. "I want it.." Her voice sounded like somewhat of a cry as she nearly closed her eyes again. Turning into a solid glare at the floor. "I want it!" She screamed, punching hard at the floor as she pushed herself up. Fists turning red she moved towards the door.
Putting her foot against the door, she turned the knob, applying all the strength she had to kick the unlatched door open. Stepping out, only to slam the door. She was annoyed with herself, the thoughts flowing with her head. She couldn't talk with herself, it was hard to reason with herself like this. Ruffling her hair she tried to stop the thoughts of the glowing scythe as she made her way to the lobby. Barely turning the corner to see the three boys.
"You!" She growled out pointing at Jayze. "Mr. Scythe, your training me how to do that right now! No excuses!" She yelled approaching quickly. Grabbing tightly onto his arm before trying to pull him along. However, with her weak body it was seemingly impossible to pull him with her own strength. Bringing a red to her cheeks as she tried to pull harder. She was only growing more annoyed, more angry with her position.

When she first tried pulling on his wrist, he yanked it away, growing annoyed. "You yell at me, then want me to help you?" he snapped, standing to his feet when she pulled on his arm again in an attempt to drag him along after her. It took a lot not to stumble away with her, but he held back for pride purposes. He looked at the other guys in the room and shrugged helplessly at them, giving them a look as if to ask them if they had any idea what her issue was. "What's your major malfunction?" he asked, more of a whine than anything as he finally stopped standing his ground and allowed himself to be pulled away by her. Once he was out of the lounge, he pulled his arm back away from her and walked along her side. "You could of just asked nicely, though." He smiled at her. "I don't mind helping you train."

"You yell at me, then want me to help you?" Naverine clenched her teeth, the tone stabbing at her. This is not how she asked for help, she couldn't break that front. Wait, no, there was no front, he was a cat person just like the others. "What's your major malfunction?" The major malfunction here was the fact he had power she wanted. Why did she feel like the weakest of the bunch, just because she saw two cat people show such talents? "You could of just asked nicely, though." She felt the weight being pulled behind her dissipate, his voice was coming from her side. "I don't mind helping you train." What was this change of tone? That's right, all cat people put up that stupid front by others.
That is about when something seemed to snap within her for that moment. Although she could not notice, nor feel the change yet. "I don't want to feel weak anymore." She muttered out to him, voice falling to a gentle tone. These idiots, they always think they have the right to target one person just because they are in front of others. With such power it was their responsibility to teach! "I train, and train. Why am I still falling behind?" Bastards, they held out their powers. They knew she was weak, they knew she was training hard to try and surpass them so they could just shoot her back down the ladder. "Why do you cats just forget about me. Leading me along with your playful fronts. Only to trick me off an edge for your own fun and games." Idiots, all of them. She could train by herself, that's all she needed, her own time, her own skill. "Teach me..... I don't want to be alone." All cats and cat people alike were useless!
She paused in her tracks, watching the few seconds of back she could see of Jayze. "W-What?" She finally noticed what had occurred at the moment before. "M-my-my voices." Her hands began to shake. That's right, her inner voice and her outer voice had flipped around. Was it because the sudden change with Jayze, going from harsh tone to a sudden friendly? "Damn you! Hurry up!" She forced herself forward, passing him to lead the way.

Jayze walked alongside Naverine until she stopped and fell back. It took him a moment or two to realize it, but once he heard her voice, low and soft and hardly audible, he paused and looked back at her in confusion. Was she...confessing something to him right now? What she was saying was certainly weird, but somehow...he felt like he could make a connection. It was strange, but seeing her act so much more open, made him happier. For once, he remained silent and waited patiently for her mini rampage to end. "Teach me..... I don't want to be alone." His eyes widened. Okay, a big confession. She's a softy on the inside, he thought with a straight face. It's nice.
He frowned suddenly, however, when a thought struck him. But...she's saying all this for nothing. She thinks I'm stronger than her. But that's not right. What she saw could of been done by anybody... His expression went downcast as he stared at the ground. I let her down just now. How am I going to show her my 'trick' when it wasn't really me? He sighed and glanced back as Naverine snapped out of it, seemingly going into a momentary state of shock, pushing him forward. He laughed halfheartedly, but the closer he got to the training area, the more nervous he got. "I, um, Naverine, I need to tell you something..." he trailed off, not sure how he should say it. He really enjoyed seeing her so reliant on him. It was a nice change in pace. It'd be hard to ruin all that. She would hate him.
When they reached the training area, Jayze spotted Candice nearby and waved to her, grinning. The grin was half-forced, though, as they stood in the room. What am I gonna do? She's going to figure it out. He gulped. "U-uhm, Naverine, you know, maybe I'm not as... That trick was sort of a..." No matter how he thought of it, he couldn't figure a way to say it properly where she wouldn't hate him. Eventually, he bit down on his tongue and just stood there, waiting for her to start the training process.

Candice was in the middle of training and was getting quite tired. 'I will gain the powers I desire soon! There is no way this kid is going to surpass me!' Candice shouted in her head. Then she noticed that kid and the girl...the kid was probably going to teach her! No she thought he could teach her, yet he didn't tell her that he didn't know how it happened. "Forget it girl." She called out to them. "He has no clue how he did what he did. He's worthless. I'm saving you time here." Candice stated and shot the last floating target left. "Training session over." The technology said.
Blake Powers.
"Hey Kieran, I'm gonna go train. See you later." Blake said and he left. Blake walked to the training area when Candice started talking. He looked over at Jayze feeling bad for him and then at Naverine feeling bad for her as well. "Hey Candice there's no need to be so mean." Blake said. "Listen since we're all here we could all train together and hopefully the powers Jayze unleashed will come out again." Blake stated trying to get the team together. Jayze and Candice seemed to have some tension so maybe some training together would be good for them, it would also be good to get Naverine to open up more.
Setting

Naverine smiled to herself as the training room came into view. That's right, she was that close, just a little further and she could force this guy to teach her how to do that. She could have the power she desired, she wouldn't have to train as much to finally surpass them. That's right, she thought of it as a shortcut to the top. Finally she could stand above the cat people and do things her own way alone. She chuckled audibly to herself, so far into her own state she didn't hear the small words from Jayze.
No more reliance of cat people, the transformation into a self sufficient dog was soon. Just a little further did she have to reach to gain the power she wanted. When they got inside the room, she turned. The inner happiness of becoming the top showing as she smiled to Jayze. His lips moved, but she was ignorant as to the words contained as she continued to slip off to her own dreams. "Forget it girl." Naverine paused, her own self coming back as she slowly turned to glare at the new voice's origins. "He has no clue how he did what he did. He's worthless. I'm saving you time here."
Naverine froze momentarily, staring at the girl as the words left her mouth. He, had no clue? So, there really was no easy way to get to the top? The power she had seen was still so far away? Then again, why did she even let herself think so highly. Cat people, all they ever do is trick others into pits of despair for their own amusement. Didn't she just think about saying that earlier?
"Listen since we're all here we could all train together and hopefully the powers Jayze unleashed will come out again." It was the boy from earlier, the one who wanted her to come to the training room in the first place. Did coming here even mean she lost to him? With left arm slouching, she covered her right eye with her other hand. Useless, that's what it was, that's what the other girl even said. Training together, was useless. She wanted to be stronger, not dragged along the bottom.
Jayze lying, Naverine should have known better then to trust another even for a moment. Self training, that is really where it all was after all. But then, why did she feel such pressure coming in. Broken trust? Was it not her way of living to not even place the lightest trust into any human or cat alike? "All cats are worthless, are they not?" She muttered to herself, "Yes... Beings that should all fall off that cliff. To be ignored by their own kind."
Hanging her head lower as if to avoid eye contact, she lifted her left hand giving her small sign of good bye. Walking out of the room quietly to make her way for her room. "I hate humans." She muttered when she was out of the room, safe from those with normal ears.

Candice Evergreen.
"Wait!" Candice hissed to the supervisor. "Are these powers like the ones Jayze used to kill that insect demon?" Candice was hoping they were. "Yes, yes they are." He said still a bit angry that the female supervisor gave him energy steroids. Candice then sat down crossed her legs and started meditating. Not thinking about the others was easy but not thinking about all of the power she could obtain was difficult. But she needed it so bad! She had to try harder!
Blake Powers.
Blake sat down, crossed his legs, and meditated but it was hard to concentrate with Candice snapping at the supervisor. When she stopped it became easier, but the he was thinking about what Naverine said yesterday...she was too far for human ears to hear it but he could hear it, she said that she hated humans. How could she say that!? Being human was something Blake dreamed about happening yet she wanted the opposite...she wanted to not be normal, he hated it and was inspired by it at the same time, he couldn't get her out of his head and this thing was going to be frustrating.

Jayze felt miserable. He hadn't talked once during the training session after Candice revealed his secret to Naverine. He couldn't blame Candince and he supposed he couldn't be mad at her, but why did she have to go and do that? He could of come up with some other excuse. Stalled the training until today, when there'd be no time for one-on-one practice and help. But, he couldn't turn back time and that's just what happened. Still... He glanced over at Naverine and sighed, knowing she probably hated him even more now. He hated the feeling of being disliked by others. You'd think he'd be used to it by now with how many people he usually drew away, but it's not something someone can just get used to over time.
Not to mention, he beat himself up during that training session yesterday, after Naverine had angrilly left the area. Now the others probably thought he was a stupid idiot weakling who just happened to get lucky that one time. I'd agree with them, he thought, not making eye contact with anyone and going to the furthest corner away from everyone to meditate on his powers in seclusion. Closing his eyes, he found it hard for him to concentrate already. After a few minutes, he flopped over on his side and groaned. "This isn't going to work. I'm too big of a failure," he whined to himself. He growled to himself and went over to the director. "I think I was allergic to something from breakfast. I feel like I might--" stopping mid-speech, Jayze put a hand to his mouth and another to his stomach, then ran out of the room. He stopped once he got down the hall and leaned against the wall, hitting his head with his hands. "Stupid, stupid!"

Kieran frowned, looking at Candice and Jayze as they either confronted the supervisor or left. Waiting patiently until everything was quiet, he closed his eyes, embracing the silence mentally, and waiting for the soul that the instructor said was to appear, hoping that nothing strange would happen to the others that were still here. Nothing came for hours, but he waited patiently, eager to gain something to protects others by.

Collectibles
By creating Collectibles, you can reward your players with unique items that accentuate their character sheets.
Once an Item has been created, it can be spawned in the IC using /spawn Item Name
(case-sensitive, as usual) — this can be followed with /take Item Name
to retrieve the item into the current character's inventory.
