Personality: Martin is not the person you should go to for happy-talk. No, he always looks at the bad side of the plans and sees things half-empty instead of half-full. He would constantly tell you his complaints and wouldn't care less about your response. However, cooking became a sort-of outlet of his emotions and he seems to enjoy it.
The only thing the others keep him alive, it seems, is his knowledge. He's a walking encyclopedia.
History: Martin was alone since the day after he was born. He was raised in an orphanage and is everyone else's punching-bag. They said his way of thinking was because of the numerous hits his head received. Some say he was cursed. Both seemed too true to him, but, who cares?! No one liked him in the first place, and who on this world would? Then he went on the boat. Sure, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to get his life over with, until that trash-bag-of-a-captain got them crashed. He hoped he was dead, but noooooooooo...he had to live.
