Once she entered she closed the door just as gently and sat Down at the table right across from a man with bluish hair. Mitsuki tossed her back, getting rid of any stray hairs hanging off her shoulders. Blue eyes glanced around to the people in the classroom. A male with bluish hair, and a male with a baseball bag. Lips parted letting out a quiet sigh, she laid her head on the desk. Her eyes closed, I'm finally here...Β

He eyed everyone suspiciously. Getting stared at back as well. He went and took a seat at one of the free tables behind Mitsuki, he never enjoyed being in front of the class and being called on. Before the class even started he put his head on the desk and fell to a silent sleep.

Licking her lips with a slightly pointed tongue, the dark-haired girl dropped from the tree in a crouch before standing and stretching with a yawn. As she walked towards the door her fingers, with key in hand, brushed against her thigh. The seals and runes were a dirty reminder of her past, present, and her short future. But this wouldn't slow her down. Face shifting to impassive but soft, she pushed the key into the lock and pressed through the door.
After the short travel to her designated room, May paused to gaze at the door. What wonders were waiting for her? She shrugged her shoulders to cover her tail. She'd give it a minute before exposing it to her classmates. Her heart was pounding, her lungs hurt in anticipation. And with a breath she pressed through the door. The other three were already in the room with the few who had arrived early. She immediately noticed that the seat beside the blue-haired boy was open. Wonderful. He seemed different, after all.
"Good morning," she said in a calm but delicate voice. Those who knew her smiled and replied. Respect for her was held high, despite her specialty. May tossed her notebook on the desktop beside the boy before stripping off her jacket. The seals and runes running along her arms were exposed, but they weren't the only things. Her tail, once free, lashed from side to side in anticipation of her first day.

May was shuffling through her papers when she heard the thought. She glanced up, tail pausing in its lashing. Her icy blue, almost silver eyes narrowed in perplexity. Was there a demon in the room? No, no there couldn't be. Not unless one of her classmates brought one in. She strained to hear the voices of her peers in an attempt to connect the thought to a voice. Satan's power? Who in this room was associated with Satan? A light frown forming on her light pink lip, she returned to her papers. Her tail reached up and brushed a strand of midnight hair from her face. So far nobody had asked about her tail. Perhaps they hadn't noticed. Perhaps they didn't have the guts to say anything.

"Aiya, Akako! Aren't you packed yet? We're already LATE as it is!" A old man with a bald head and a goat beard with the curse of time, wringles, came in Akako's bedroom. The old man was none other than the red haired girl's own Grandpa. The old man's nagging didn't reach his granddaughters ears do to her headsphones blairing out music as the girl was finally putting the last of her belongings inside the second suitecase. Since the accident of her mother being possessed and giving Akako the spirit wound on her left eye years ago, like her grandpa she has been able to see demons since then and now was time for her to go to True Cross Academy. She did have a choice of continueing her training with her grandpa or go to True Cross. "Akako! Get those blastin' do-hickies off your ears and listen to me for once!" Once again the old man's orders were ignored. Grandpa raised his right hand in the air, which would be a fist if the index and middle fingers weren't sticking out and together. Like a whip, the old man whacked Akako behind the head with those two fingers. "Ouch!" She turned around and slid her earphones off her ears and rested them on her neck. "Grandpa, I'm dearly finished. What is it?"
That just earned her another finger whip in the head. "Owwww...." It didn't help that he hit the exactly same spot as last time too. This was the main reason why she eagerly accepted to go to True Cross Academy in the first place- to avoid the finger whip. Another was if she stayed, she would have to be a Aira exorcist. Akako wanted to be a Tamer, but it was still up in the air if she had the talent for it. Since her Grandpa refused to let her at least TRY to summon a demon. If she doesn't have the Tamer touch, she could always go for a Knight. Akako does have a lance.... But don't most, if not all, Knights use swords? Oh well, that's just something she'll worry about later when the times comes. "This should already be done TWO HOURS AGO! What in God's name were doing?!" Grandpa asked her with his arms firmly crossed on his chest. "Grandpa.... Isn't there a verse that says you can't use the Lords name in vain?" WHACK Third finger whip in the pass five minutes. "There's also multiple verses about respecting your elders, and I'll be be more than glad to recite ALL of them." Akako raidly shook her head and hands, no. "No, no that's not necessary! What's the big deal about dragging this out a little? It's not like classes start today..... All this work sure is troublesome." She half-heartedly complained. "NEXT WEEK IS FOR HIGH SCHOOL CLASSES!!! THERE'S STILL CRAM SCHOOL!!!!" Grandpa shouted so loud, the house even jumped in the air.
-------------
"SHIKA! It's been ages since I last seen you! Oh, and this is your granddaughter and also my newest student?" Mephisto greeted them at the enterance of the school. Akako's first impression of the headmaster was..... that he was a bit weird. The very odd and slightly distrubing kind of weird. Not to mention he's a bit on the dramatic side. Out of the corner of her eye, Akako could see her grandpa's eye brow twicht at the headmaster's exaggrated greeting. "Certainly not long enough, Mephisto. Hopefully your teachers could slap some skills in Akako's thick skull," Granpa answered which was followed by a good bye to Akako as he left her alone with the weird headmaster. "Well, I'll get someone to take your things to your dorm room while I'll take you to your class!" the headmaster cheered as he quickly made his way behind Akako and pushed her so she wouldn't drag her feet. She liked taking her time to get to place-to-place even if she was running a bit on the late side. Which wasn't going to happen with Mephisto making her wal so fast by pushing her that she almost tripped a few times before they came to a large steel door. With a twist of his wrist, Mephisto made a key appear in his hands and unlocked the door. "This is the key you'll use to get to your cram classes. Now don't lose it because you probably won't get another one~" he explained as he handed Akako the key.
The two of them were walking in this large and highly over decorated hallway until the headmaster stopped in front of a door. "Annnnnnddddd, here is where your class is at! I must be off, play nice with the other students!" Mephisto bid his farwell as he transformed into a dog and walked off. Well, her grandpa DID say that Mephisto was a bit.... off. The door of the class room opened to reveal Akako with her headphones off her neck and back on her head over her ears, she wasted no time to get back to listening to her music. Especially since her grandpa refuse to let her put her "do-hickey" back on during the ride up here. She glanced around at some of her classmates, which a few were getting to know each other. It looked like each table desk had someone already occupying it. Shurgging her shoulders, Akako made her way to the empty chair next to the guy who kinda looked like he was arguing with some girl. Oh well, it just means that she'll wouldn't have to worry about offending anyone by not hearing them talking to her for the time being. Since they were obivously in a converstaion.

Rin fell asleep almost immediatly after sitting down. He awoke to find a girl sitting next to him. All of a sudden Mephisto spoke up from beside him. "Miss May. I don't think it would be a very good idea to show off your tail to everyone. Although there are a few students who would find it normal. Isn't that right, Rin?" Rin looked at the small dog in confusion. He then looked over to the girl to find that something had flicked away a strand of hair. "Woah! You have one too?!" Rin exclaimed while suddenly standing up and looking like a total nutjob. He looked around to find several akward glares. "AHAHA! Its nothing! Um... Yeah, I was just asking if she had that... Yeah that! You know what I mean? AHAHA!" Rin sat down quickly, a little embarrased at his outburst and lame coverup. "Hey. You wouldn't happen to have made a deal with Satan or something, right?" Rin whispered to the girl in curiosity. He asked as if it were something normal, yet not normal at the same time.

Her attention turned to the boy. He was clearly making a fool of himself before the other students. The light flush of his cheeks proved this beyond point. May looked around the room at her classmates who were chuckling, amused by the boy's behavior. Two boys in the back of the room were whispering about him very obviously. She looked at them with cold blue eyes and a frown set upon her lips. "If you've got something to say then you might as well spit it out for all to hear," she called to the back of the room. Despite herself, her tail lashed back and forth beneath her jacket, causing it to sway slightly. The room quieted momentarily before returning to its regular atmosphere, though tensions were clearly rising amongst the students.
"Hey. You wouldn't happen to have made a deal with Satan or something, right?"
May's icy gaze fell back to the boy. She leaned her elbows to the desk and propped her head on her hands. "As a matter of fact, no I didn't," she said, head tilting slightly to the left. "I have a Demon God sealed inside me, hence the tail and runes." The dark-haired girl slipped into the chair beside him, watching him impassively, although a ghost of a smirk upturned the corners of her lips. "What about you, hmmm? Mr. Halfblood." The smirk grew. To make sure he knew she wouldn't spread the secret, she put a finger to her lips and winked. As if nothing had occurred between the two of them, she turned her attention to the front of the room. "I'm May, by the way," she said, bored. May's set of blue eyes flickered over to a boy who seemed to be fascinated with her. Her eyes seemed to grin at him before returning to the front of the room.

After Akako settled down in her seat, she was finally drifting into the inner realms of her mind by the sound of music. People back at her home town kind thought she was a bit weird because she has a habit of staring at one spot for the longest time. Be a person, tree, bird, or anything that is or resently appeared in the spot she selected, Akako would stare blankly at it no matter if people move around or a dog/cat jumping in the air on its hind legs. Which tends to make people a little weary of her. This time she randomly selected, like she always does, is the chalk board in front of the room. Probably because the the class's teacher will be here sooner or later and would be fooled that she was actually paying attention. As Akako was just about completely zoned out, something or someone slipped her headphones off her head..... One of her few pet peeves. Her blank stare turned into a mild glare at the guy next to her, who turned out to be the earphone stealing culprit.
"Oh by the way name's Max." The thief said while extending his hand.
"Could you please reframe from taking my headphones?" She asked flattly as she snatched her earphones back from him. She placed her headphones back on her ears, planning on ignoring him. But she could heard her grandpa's rant about her not trying to be socalible with her peers. Glancing down at the hand, Akako slid her earphones off her head and rested them on her neck and shook his hand. "I'm Akako."

Ichijo saw the girl with the tail's eyes flicker at him and he couldn't contain his excitement any longer. He grabbed the oversized baseball bag and walked past the boy and the two girls who were with him. "Yo! My names Ichijo Ryuumi, but most people just call me Ryu. I couldn't help noticing your tail. Mind if I take a peek?" Ichijo asked innocently while pointing to what was lashing around underneath her jacket. " If you do. Then I'll let you see whats in this." Ichijo took the bag off of his shoulder and dropped it onto the ground. It made a large boom and even made a few cracks in the floor. "Hows about it?" He smiled at her. He also couldn't help notice that strange sword that the other boy had with him. 'HAHA! Interesting! I wonder if he'd mind if I took a look at his sword too. Maybe he'd even let me use it.' Ichijo thought as he awaited the girl's answer.

May grinned. "I can hear your thoughts," she said, tilting her head. "Well, some of them anyways." It was nice to meet someone who was like her in a, well, slightly different way. He seemed to be nice. Hopefully they'd get along.
"Well thats a relief at least... I'm not the only one here who has something to do with a demon. Ah, I'm Rin Okumura."
She leaned against her palm to mimic him and watched him curiously. "May Ayuzawa, nice to meet you." A movement behind her caught her eye. The boy she'd snatched a glanced at moments before was heading towards her with a look of excitement in his eyes. May tilted her head the other way as he began to talk. She waited patiently before replying herself. "Nice to meet you, Ryu. I'm May. Yes you can see my tail, but personally I'd rather not see something that can potentially break the floor." Her tail peeked out from her draping jacket and poked Ichijo in the stomach. "Anyways, where the hell is Yukio?" she asked under her breath and glanced at the door.

As the "music girl" sat down next to Max, she yawned quietly, before placing her black pistol on the desk. Β She laid her head against the desk. Closing her eyes she seemed to have gone to sleep, but she was just resting, alert of everything around her.
