Incarnation Gender: Female (albeit she appears fairly androgynous)
Incarnation Appearance: Famine in her human incarnation resembles a skinny individual, with pallid skin, noticeable cheekbones, and dark rings notable round her eyes. While she appears pretty young, her hair grows in white-grey and hangs down to her lower back. She nearly exclusively dresses in black clothing.
Apocalypse Appearance: Famine’s ‘true’ form is a lovecraftian nightmare. All teeth and spikes and monstrous appendages. Its eyes glow with green marshlight and skin is dark blue and encased in protruding plates of bone. It has an enormous set of fangs. Tattered shreds of clothing hang off this monstrosity. Its abdomen is gone in place of a wasted spinal column. Acidic bile spatters out from its mouth.
Distinguishing marks: Leucism (lack of pigment in skin and hair), patches of darker pigment on arms, back, and chest. Canine teeth rather more pointed and sharp than that of a human.
=Psychological Traits =
Attitude: Much in keeping with her aspect, Famine is driven much by want. She is hungry for approval, for vindication...sometimes revenge. Whilst the third harbinger is perhaps not the most assertive or outspoken of the four...but she certainly cannot be faulted for her tenacity. She will hang onto her goals ferociously and harbour grudges for millenia.
Famine in her general demeanour is restless, twitchy, and rather tending to talk into redundancy. She could be seen as one of the more 'immature' of the four. However in no way should that be mistaken for a mark of weakness of lack of threat. Famine can be completely ruthless. When crossed she is capable of shocking levels of cruelty, acting with almost childish spite as a means to ruin the individual or group that's provoked this kind of wrath.
Stability: Famine is pretty emotionally unstable. She is driven by more animalistic instincts and tends to fall back on them in dire situations. This can be an advantage at times, but can at the same time lead her towards making hasty choices and not planning ahead.
=Combat Information=
Signature Powers: -Devourer - Famine is able to consume the flesh and blood of living creatures in order to take on beneficial traits from the creature in question, as well as regenerate from severe physical damage near instantly.
This in itself comes with the abilities to do so. Famine has tremendous jaw strength and can easily bite through just about anything.
Corruptor - Can rot inert organic substances on touch.
Hunter - Unnaturally fast, agile and capable of moving silently. Famine can also cling to walls easily as a tokay gecko, making it very difficult to keep her out of places, and indeed get away from her.
Weapons: Famine’s state of flux that her Devour ability affords lets her create her weaponry from her own body. Claws. Teeth. Venom. Whatever gets the job done.
Armor: In a similar way, Famine can consume shellfish or insects in order to take on the traits of biological armour.
Anything else:
Addictions: Devouring. Famine is always hungry. However mortal food is generally of little use to a being such as herself. In order to gain her interest the food has to exude some kind of life force. This means raw meat, fish, animals...and probably humans if it came to it.
