Appearance || Misaka has a rather petite figure, appearing to be a tad bit thinner than others and standing only at a height of 5'3"- her slouched posture making her seem smaller than she already is. She has long, unkempt red hair that is usually tied into a low ponytail. Though in middle school, she used to wear glasses, but had recently switched to purple contact lenses instead. She dresses in a casual fashion, mostly sweaters and long hoodies. She is always wearing a scarf, except indoors, and carries around a small pouch where she holds her phone and gadgets. Face Claim || Renbokouji Akira; Valvrave the Liberator
Personality || Misaka is a rather quiet individual- almost exaggeratedly so. She rarely speaks, usually communicating in grunts with people she is close to- her small group of friends seem to understand her just fine- or through a small text-to-speech app on her phone. She is rarely ever comfortable around new people and places, though when she grows attached to a friend or a group, she becomes rather protective over them and casts away her fear of the outside for them. It's rather hard to actually talk to or get her to open up unless talking to her about her likes, though. She is a sharp contrast to her rather loud roommate though for some reason, they seem to get along on certain ideas...like mysterious parts found lying around in parks. She's familiar with the rumors at the dorm but does not pay much attention to them.
Room Number || 302
Roommate || Kanade Takamine
Likes:
Coffee - Iced, hot, whatever it is, as long as it's coffee, Misaka likes it. She probably consumes the most coffee out of everyone in the dorm and her friends.
Game Programming - Misaka is a rather well-known game creator online, and even took up game development. Due to this, she has become rather amiable to all sorts of games.
Remixing - In her free time, Misaka likes to remix game soundtracks and makes a few of her own sometimes. She used to do a lot of covers and remixes with her friend at Seven Stars.
Dislikes:
Tea - As much as Misaka likes coffee, she seems to dislike tea. She can endure only a few sips or one cup but never anything more.
Boy bands - Misaka seems to dislike boy band music for some reason. She never outwardly expresses her distaste, though she seems to grimace or put her earphones on when someone plays them.
Mannequins - She has an odd distaste or fear of mannquins, especially store mannequins. She always feels like she's being watched, somehow.
History || Misaka didn't exactly have the most interesting life. There was a story circulating around at home that when she was born she was oddly quiet- and that gave way to a rumor that quiet babies were more subsceptible to ghosts. Misaka never really paid these rumors no mind, but due to her pale complexion and her odd, always frowning face, she never had a lot of friends. With that being said, she started to turn more to gadgets and consoles at a young age, becoming a shut-in quite quickly.
This was later fueled with her experiences at middle school.
Sometime in middle school, she fell for, and was rejected, by two different boys. This just caused her to shun any form of social life and took up an interest in remixing music instead, and game development. With all the time spent at home, she became a rather good artist and a good programmer, and her games landed her an invitation to the prestigious Seven Stars Academy.
Her parents urged her to go, hoping that it would make Misaka even the tiniest bit more social. She initially didn't want to make any friends, but after meeting a rather friendly foreign student who was good at playing the guitar named Victoria, she found her first best friend. Victoria urged her to join in the Musical Ensemble after finding out about her remixes and that she had rather good piano and drumming skills. Misaka's friendship with Victoria soon led to her meeting more friends- such as the clumsy nurse's aide and an aspiring interior designer. Needless to say, high school had been the best part of Misaka's lonely life so far.
She eventually graduated and transferred to St. Gabriel's, where she, once again, reclined into a life of solitude...or so she thought. She had a rather loose schedule and could afford to keep her games back up, and aside from that, she heard that one of her friends was in St. Gabriel's and she could maintain contact. Her parents urged her to go and live in the Blue Lotus dorm due to hearing a lot about it and thinking that there were bound to be friendly faces there as well.
Misaka begrudgingly agreed.
She later found out that the dorm was supposedly haunted...but met one of her old friends there as well, so she supposes...it's not going to be that bad. The only thing in her way, probably, is her loud, insane inventor of a roommate.
