Evie (Ee-Vee)

Age:
Sixteen-years-old

Gender:
Male

Species:
Human

Blood Type:
A-
~~~
Image
Eye Color:
Gray
Hair Color:
A vivid red color and in a constant mess
Dressing Style:
When not in his school uniform, Everett prefers comfort over style. In cold weather, he tends to wear sweaters, some slightly too big, and in warm weather he wears plain t-shirts usually accompanied with an unbuttoned button-up shirt. As frumpy as he thinks it makes him look, it's actually quite adorable.
Weight:
120 lbs
Height:
5'8
~~~
Image
Likes:
Swimming, photography, pastries(particularly with fruit in them), reading

Dislikes: Horror films,
Horror films, fish(as a food), large crowds

Habits:
When first getting to know people, Everett has a tendency to bite his lip and avoid eye contact. Also, when he's nervous, he tends to stammer and try to run away. Given that he can't, he blushes as red as his hair and starts to panic.

Crush:
None

Personality:
Everett is very much a scaredy-cat, often said to jump at even his own shadow. It certainly doesn't help that now he's in a school with demons, vampires, ghosts, angels.... It just makes him all the more terrified of the people around him. He's an awkward person at heart, nervous when people start talking to him and having a hard time maintaining eye contact. He's very fun to tease since he gets very flustered, especially if he can't run away from the situation. He's well aware of his own faults and tries hard to overcome them, but it's not very easy for him. He's not a very trusting person and is easily discouraged.
However, despite all of that, he's actually a bright young man and fun-loving underneath his exterior. It just takes a good friend to get to that part of him and break him out of his shell. When he's enthusiastic about something, he can talk about it in total confidence, sometimes only realizing that he lost his stammer after the fact. He's a hard worker as well, and, if encouraged, he can do great things. Everett also worries about people, but will only speak up about it if you're his friend. Otherwise he might just alert a teacher.

Skills:
*Running away- It's not so much that he's excessively fast, it's just that he's basically an amateur escape artist, a practiced talent that he uses to escape awkward and dangerous situations
*Swimming- Everett is an excellent swimmer and swimming is one of the few times when he actually relaxes
*Photography- He's really an excellent photographer and takes wonderful photos. It's just that he doesn't like to show them to people
*Danger magnet- Well, it's not so much of a good skill as it is a bad one. Ever since he was a child, he's seemed to attract danger; dangerous people, dangerous situations... He's really not very lucky, but he always manages to get out of it.

Family:
Mother: May Harper, 45-years-old
Father: Roy Harper, 45-years-old
Sister: Clara Harper, 23-years-old
Brother: Max Harper, 22-years-old

History:
Everett's childhood started off normally if not a little lonely. His father and mother both held time-consuming jobs- his mother a successful defense lawyer and his father the American ambassador to England. His older siblings didn't want to have anything to do with the little brat who insisted on following them around, so, between busy parents and irritated siblings, Everett had to find other ways to keep himself occupied. He turned to television and books as soon as he could read, falling into the fantasy worlds instead of interacting with real live human beings, setting the stage for future social awkwardness to come.
Everything still remained relatively normal until, one day, his father brought some of his associates from work, a husband and wife with their own daughter, home with him to have dinner. After the meal, his siblings retreated to their rooms and his parents and the couple decided to have coffee, leaving little Everett to entertain their guests' daughter. As it turned out, that was a big mistake. All was fine, well, awkward but fine, until Everett accidentally got a paper cup. The young girl attacked him, biting his neck until her parents rushed in to break them apart. It turns out that the family were vampires, a fact that Everett's parents had known given his father's position in the government, and now Everett did too and, rather than mystifying him, it terrified him.
This was his first but not last encounter with the supernatural. Incidents littered his childhood and preteen years where he, danger prone as he was, would stumble across demons, vampires, angels, ghosts... Sometimes it was rather benign, just recognizing that they were something other than human. Other times it went just as well as it did with the little vampire girl so many years ago; that is, not at all. All of this combined with his social awkwardness made him start to become a little paranoid and certainly afraid. Humans weren't alone out there and were far from prepared if anything were to happen with the other species.
Being sent to Arcbell Academy was just the newest in his parents' attempts to get him to overcome his fears and social awkwardness. It would work, in their opinion, like throwing someone who can't swim into the deep end. Hopefully Everett doesn't drown.

Trundling down the roads of a nondescript little island near the south of France was a simple black car, a little older, perhaps, if the style meant anything, but obviously well taken care of from its impeccable paint job and sheen. But, as nice as the car was, it wasn't all too remarkable. The passenger inside, however, was. Well, Everett Harper would disagree and argue that everyone else was strange, but he was quite normal, and he should know. The passenger was him after all.

Everett fidgeted in the back seat, worrying his lip as the car jumped on another uneven patch in the road, his stomach jumping right along with it. He felt ill now, but it couldn't be attributed to jet lag or car sickness. No, it was the anxiety and mounting panic trying desperately to take over his thoughts, making him want to throw up. He wanted to be at home, in his room, curled up in his bed, not in the south of France going to some boarding school where he wouldn't even last a day. This wasn't an exaggeration on his part, at least in his mind, because he wasn't worried about bullies, not knowing anyone, or course loads. No, his fears were very well founded in that this was no ordinary school he was attending. It was Arcbell Academy, school of demons, angels, vampire, ghosts, werewolves, and who knows what else. This would be all well and fine if it wasn't for the fact that Everett was not a demon, angel, vampire, and so on and so forth. He was a human. To be more exact, he was a terrified human with a poor track record where other species were involved. Take for instance being attacked by a little girl vampire when he was a child, then maybe when he was caught up in a fight between and angel and a demon, or that time he was stalked by a ghost inside an old bed and breakfast. And now, all of the things that had made him so paranoid were in one place and he had to live with them and-

"Ca va?" Everett jumped, gray eyes wide before glancing up at the front of the car. Oh, thank God. It was just the driver. Calling upon all of the French experience he had (one class in school, so it wasn't very much), he tried to muster a reply.

"Uh... Pas mal, merci?" He hazarded, voice awkward around the foreign words.

"You don't look fine to me." Oh, he could speak English. There was laughter in the driver's voice now as a bright blush of embarrassment covered Everett's face, matching his bushy red hair.

"I guess not- I'm, uh, n-nervous about the new school." Nervous was putting it mildly. He was teetering on the edge of a panic attack. The car gave a little leap again, jolting him to one side.

"You'll be fine," The driver's voice was soothing now. "New places are always scary, hein? But I've driven plenty of people over to this school, and they always came back in one piece. I do not see why you should be any different." Everett couldn't tell if he was joking or if he actually knew what this school was. Regardless, the assurance that no one had ever died in the driver's experience was a little bit comforting. A little bit.

"What you have to do," The Frenchman continued, "Is not show any fear. You stand tall and proud and you'll be just fine ,yes? Confidence is everything. You need any help with your bags?"

Oh. Oh! Everett hadn't realized that, as the driver spoke, they'd slowed to a stop, parked outside the massive gates of Arcbell Academy. It didn't look all that intimidating now. It was just a school, after all, and the daylight made everything seem all the more pleasant and non-threatening.

"No, I- I'm fine. Thank you," He tried a smile and slid out the car door, heaving his bag along with him. You know what? The driver was right. Everything would be just fine. All he had to do was walk in there with his head held high and-

The illusion of confidence lasted only until he actually stepped inside the gate and actually saw the school. It was huge, more of a mansion than a boarding school, elegant in design but still with such a great size that he could already see himself getting lost. But that wasn't the part that shattered his new-found hope. No, it was the fact that the courtyard was crawling with people. Actually, not people. It was crawling with- with- he didn't even know what. He could see horns, ghosts floating over head, too-pale people resting in shade and, oh God, he was going to die, wasn't he?

"Wait, I changed my mind!" He yelped, whirling around only to see the car disappear, going back the way it came. Oh God. He was trapped here, wasn't he? Trapped on an island near a foreign country at a school with students who weren't human.

He was all but trembling now, clutching his bag to his chest like a shield, a deer-in-the-headlights look taking over his face. Because now people were looking at him, like he had a large neon sign proclaiming "HUMAN" over his head, and maybe it was that obvious to them. Or, of course, it could have been that he was standing stock still just inside the gates. That was pretty weird too.

Kai Kuromori

Kai walked to the front of the academy to get away from everyone, but then he saw someone. Kai could tell that this guy was human, and decided to talk, if humans were going to the school, maybe he could find out more about them. "Hello" Kai said to the human "My name is Kai Kuromori, yours?" Kai introduced himself to the human. This'll be interesting, won't it Kai? Valus stretched and changed shoulders.

"Hello."

Everett let out an embarrassingly shrill yelp, clutching his bag even closer to his body as he whirled around, the deer-in-the-headlight look even more pronounced then it had been before. It was a boy, a little taller than Everett and perhaps around his own age(although he could possibly be much older, Everett wasn't quite sure how aging worked for these... people). But the sight that set off alarm bells in his skull was the cat currently mimicking a parrot as it perched itself on the taller boy's shoulders and the glowing yellow eyes. All this he took in at a glance before his sight stuck firmly on the grass below, not wanting to stare or to really look at all. He was just being friendly, his mind urged, don't just shut down on him. No need to make enemies on the first day.

"H-Hi," His reply came out mumbled as he chewed on his bottom lip again, eyes flashing upwards before settling back down on the earth below. "I'm, uh, E-E-" He took a deep breath. "EverettHarpernicetomeetyou." It came out rushed in his anxiety, even to his own ears, the sentence slurring together. His cheeks were a flaming red color again and the trembling had yet to show any signs of stopping. He wanted to run away, but there was nowhere to go and it hadn't gotten to the point of a dash for survival- yet.

Kai Kuromori

Kai looked at the Everett for a moment, then sighed "You know, you intrigue me, here you are, at the academy that houses demons and angels and all 'mythical' creatures, and yet you are the most frightened person i have seen here" Kai said to Everett. "Welcome, I guess, don't expect to run from everything" Kai warned. "We'll see you around" he said as he walked back towards the academy.

Everett would be lying if he said that he completely understood what the demon- no, he had a name, Kai- was saying. Of course he was the most frightened person he'd seen here- he couldn't do anything particularly spectacular, especially in comparison to the terrifying talents that almost all of the other students could boast. Really, the only thing he might have going for him is that maybe his blood happened to taste bad, but, given his track record, that was highly unlikely. Still, he couldn't help but feel like he'd disappointed the other boy- how could call him that, right? Boy instead of demon?

Still, he was just fine with his welcoming committee leaving until he realized something; he had no idea what to do now, and as loathe as he was to continue a conversation with someone who he still wasn't sure if he could trust, it was a far better option then, say, going up to a random person and hoping for the best.

So, mustering up his shreds of courage he cried out, "Um, w-wait please." Well, it wasn't much of a cry, more of a slightly loud mumble, but at least he hadn't completely lost his ability to speak in a time of uncertainty. His bag still clutched to his chest, he started jogging after Kai and his cat only to, of course, run into someone. It really wasn't his day.

It was a boy a little shorter than him and with, of course, golden eyes. Well, great. Apparently he was a demon magnet today.

"S-s-s-sorry," He said, jumping back like he'd been struck which didn't make much sense, did it, since he was the one who had run into him.

Prothero Ender

Prothero blushed and looked away awkwardly at the kiss. He was always shy when it came to physically contact even when Juliet hugged him he would panic and push her off. But he allowed the boy to do as he wished. Prothero flew around before he stopped on the ledge of the second library floor. He re-adjusted Romeo before giving a smirk. "Trust me ok... And please don't squirm." Prothero with his back to the drop held Romeo then allowed them to fall backward. Prothero grinned and closed his eyes as they spun and fell, he waited until the last possible second before opening his wings to catch the air and fly up and higher then before.

Gray Ender

Gray was busy humming to himself when something collided with him. That something turned out to be a someone. Blinking Gray looked up at the taller red headed boy. "It's no issue..." He smirked. "Ah ha~ One of the humans I've heard so much about..." Gray thought about having some fun until he saw how scared and jumpy the boy was. Smiling Gray decided a friendlier approach might be more welcome. But that did not mean he might not tease the poor human later...

"Hey calm down... Some of the people here are going to be more afraid of you then you are of them." Gray spoke with a happy tone in his voice. "Trust me... My little sister Juliet was the first human to attend the school... I mean the vamps can be a bit of a pain but aside that she had a great year." Gray brushed the boy's clothes off before he stretched and cracked his neck before shoving his hands in his pocket and staring at the boy with his head turned. Really he was only looking at the boy. He was... Tall for a human. I mean sure Gray had seen quite a few humans but they were always older so it was natural they were taller... This boy was maybe his age yet he towered over him. It made Gray feel short and not sure what to do.

Juliet Ender

Juliet blinked and listened to everything Damian said, and did. It sounded like he had a rough childhood so Oriana could relate. Her own was filled with horrible nightmares and huge empty holes in her memory where she rather just not remember ever what happened. What he did on the other hand kept her amazed, and slightly confused. But she could figure things out as she went along. She tilted her head when Damian offered her a coin. "I don't need any payment silly." She laughed. "My own past isn't sunshine and roses... I understand." Juliet took a piece of paper that was handed to her. The secretary had finally bothered to get Damian his information.

Juliet handed the piece of paper to Damian before she started dragging his bag out of the room, and down the hall. She made sure Damian was walking next to her before she continued. "I mean... I don't remember my family at all... I was just found covered in blood in the snow... I was sick for awhile then I could not remember anything but my name... I still don't but sometimes I get awful things I think are memories... I get how sometimes you'd wanna forget something or just not wanna think about it... Everyone has something like that don't they?" Juliet's tone was still happy but calmer and more gentle then her usual hyper-ness.

"Afraid of me?" He asked, disbelief so coloring his voice that it seemed to have evaporated his panic if only just for the moment. Afraid of him? Really? Creatures- things that could- could fly or control elements or suck blood or, or do a million other threatening things should not and would not be afraid of a scrawny human whose only claim to fame was being particularly danger prone and a complete coward. The thought was so ludicrous that he almost didn't hear the second part about his sister.

The vampire thing hit him first and he could feel anxiety once more bubble up in his stomach, twisting his insides without mercy. Of course the vampires would give humans trouble- that made sense, didn't it? Free bags of blood walking around for the taking. The thought made him more miserable than before. He could only imagine what that girl had-

Wait. His sister was a human? Did that make sense? From all the texts he had to read before joining this school- mostly fantasy creatures 101 with helpful tips for not offending and getting killed- he'd never heard of demons and humans co-habitating, let alone being related. He blinked his wide gray eyes for a moment, confusion clear on his face. But it wasn't his place to ask and far be it from him to pester a demon.

"Um, all right," He accidentally caught the other boy's eye before bringing his gaze towards the ground, staring at a tuft of weeds on the otherwise impeccable lawn. "I, um, could you- that is..." He was stumbling over his words again, so he took a deep breath. "C-Can you please show me where I'm supposed to go? No one told me what I was supposed to do when I got here and-" He cut off his rambling suddenly, biting his lip once more.

Prothero Ender

Prothero had his wings opened wide so he simply glided about. "Not really often times the movement of air just sorta carries me it's only certain times where it gets tough cause I'm tired...." He flew around awhile more before landing in a quiet corner of the second floor library. He deposited Romeo first before landing after him. "Did you enjoy your first flight Romeo?" Prothero asked while he gently fixed the boys hair around his horns.

Juliet Ender

Juliet was suprised when the bag was stolen and in it's place she found a coin. She blinked shocked and looked over the golden round object. She looked up and found Damian up ahead of her. "Hey! Your older then me! That makes you old~" She ran after him and soon caught up but had to keep at a quick pace. "Your room is kinda close to mind that's cool! I can make sure you don't get lazy." Juliet grinned and kept walking. She rushed ahead and went up the stairs. "This wayyyy~" She giggled and ran up then waited at the top of the stairs while rocking back and forth on her heels.

Gray Ender

Gray laughed when he saw how jumpy the human was. "Hey calm down~ I don't bite even if I look like that kind of person." Gray smirked. He could tell the boy was confused so Gray explained. "My sister is adopted into our family... Even if she is a human." The Gray stopped and looked like he was thinking very very deeply about the question he was asked. "I don't know... Hanging around such an adorable human who is sure to attract the attention of girls and vampires... Well I don't know." Gray smirked. "Well I guess... But only because I have a soft spot for humans..." Gray softened his smile so it was less devious and playful. "And don't worry about any vampires... I got it covered, they wont harm a hair on your red head if I got anything to say about it!" Gray turned. "Now let's go I don't wanna leave you behind." Gray started walking and shoved his hands in his pocket and leaned back in a relaxed way that also allowed his left sleeve to slide off his shoulder revealing his pale skin. But as Gray was Gray... He did not care.

Adopted by a demon family? Now, that was surprising indeed given the fact that the two species(has species right, Everett wondered, or was it considered races?) didn't exactly mesh well from what he'd read and, sadly enough, seen. Oh, it was nothing like the animosity between angels and demons, but still...

His brain came to a complete standstill at the teasing compliment. A blush almost instantly flooded his pale face, almost dark enough to match his wild red hair, and he began tugging at his sweater's sleeves. It was a navy colored sweater today, plain except for a pale gray trim and slightly too big on him, the sleeves extending to just above his fingers. Still, a squawk of indignation escaped his lips.

"I'm not adorable," He grumbled, but the sentiment was reassuring enough. If he was telling the truth about having a human sister- and Everett couldn't be sure if he was even if the fact was too strange to be made up- then this demon could be trusted enough to lead him to wherever it was he was supposed to be going.

He followed behind the shorter boy, eyes nervously glancing around. Now that he was no longer frozen at the gates, he was getting less attention from the...the 'people' so to speak milling about the courtyard, but there was still one or two groups of them stealing glances or outright staring. He picked up his pace and only then realized he had no idea who this demon was.

"Hey, um, sorry, I d-didn't catch your name," He said, not quite making eye contact as he followed along. "I'm Everett Harper." And, boy, wouldn't his mother be proud, introducing himself to a new person and a demon at that. Not proud enough to let him come home, but still.

Prothero Ender

Prothero smiled. "No need to... You asked I be your friend...I've never really had one but if it's anything like siblings I'm guessing you do things just cause... It's nice to do so." Prothero smiled and folded his large wings gently. He stretched gently and cracked his back. Prothero was not sure what to do now so he allowed the younger boy to do as he wished. Prothero was simply content being his silent self.

Juliet Ender

Juliet blinked her large eyes. "Don't worry I have two older brothers... When I woke them up they were in such foul moods they use to quite literally attack each other... If I can handle the warring dragons I think I can handle a little bit of grouchy-ness." She grinned and watched as Damian reached the top of the steps. He talked about keeping his time docked which he finished with a blush. Juliet blinked and her own cheeks reddened almost by instinct.

She turned and walked over the hall before stopping in front of a door. "This room is mine. I leave the door open open almost all the time so if ever you get a nightmare you can come over and il make you hot chocolate." She grinned in a sideways fashion then walked a little ways down the hall. She stopped. "And this is your room." Juliet pulled open the door. "Sooo welcome home." She stepped inside. Like with all rooms it had come with a lone bed a cabinet and dresser with the keys to the room the dresser. Juliet spun around. "Your not allowed to paint the walls but you can put up posters or art or anything you want and add furniture but you can't take away or wreck what's already in here." Juliet spoke matter of factually.

Gray Ender

Gray led the way confidently. "Name's Gray Ender... It's nice to meet you Everett Harper... You have a fancy name so I might call you something more playful." Gray turned around and walked backwards. "Hmmm... Ev? Erret? Evie? Harp?" Gray blinked. "I don't know..." He walked up the stairs backwards and down the hall that way. To entertain the boy Gray even performed an attempt moon walk and then a weird little dance." It was strange being around a human who was well... Not his sister but the red head was nice and shy so Gray did not mind.

It was really nice, having a friend. He wasn't quite sure how to get used to the feeling though, it wasn't like he had had many friends in the past. Of course there was his older brother, but his brother really was a shining example of a demon. Cruel, harsh, violent, angry- all the time. And usually, he took it out on lil' bro. It was where the scars on his back and chest had come from, and the one on his cheek. But you could only see that one if you were very close, it had faded to only be a zigzag'd, red line now. Even if he touched it, it hurt. Though he tried to pretend it didn't, wasn't like big brother cared either way. Slipping back into the present, he looked up at his new friend. "Still," he started softly, stepping forward and giving the taller boy a tight hug. "I really owe you one. That was the funnest thing I've ever done." After stepping back, he offered the biggest smile he could, feeling happier than he had been in awhile. If only those stupid horns on his head would go away, this truly would be the best day ever.

Just keep walking. Remember to keep your face down, no one wants to see you. Being an angel doesn't change anything. They aren't going to accept you. No one is going to accept you. They will just label you as a freak and send you off to some institution. Trust no one. Your family are the only ones you can trust, and even then be careful. It isn't a nice world, that's why we have Angels. But still, the demons are strong, sometimes too strong. So just keep walking. Keep your head down. Be safe.

They told Wolfram to be careful. That the only people you could trust was your family, that everyone else would just ship him off to an institution to be tested on, or tell him he was crazy and that he wasn't an angel. But isn't that exactly what his parents did? Sent him off to some academy for freaks just like him? It wasn't fair, no, but what in life was fair? You lose your family, your humanity, your pride and dignity, what do you have left? Nothing. That's all they want you to have, so you can succumb to whatever it is they have in store for you. And you won't put up a fight.

After all, this is what this school was about, right? Teaching you how to act properly. The good and the bad. But who were they to say what was good, what was bad? Labeling. It's all they ever did. You're a demon? Well, hell, I better stay away from you, you're bad. Angels? God, talk about goody-two-shoes. Vampires? You just want my neck to suck on, the rest doesn't really matter, does it? Everyone was labeled, and nothing was going to change it. They would probably label him as a demon too, purely for his attitude. But blonde hair and green eyes? Definitely not a demon. Then you got to know him, and started to question that.

Wolfram was heading back to his room when he spotted the boy from earlier, the one that had tried to stop the fight. Beside him was some red headed boy, and he just shook his head. Apparently mister Peacekeeper was making friends with the human- it was quite obvious that this red head was human, as he gave off no distinct scent and was painfully boring. Rolling his eyes, he kept walking.

"Um, my family calls me Evie," he offered absent-mindedly, still glancing around in his paranoia. Even if Gray Ender was perfectly all right, for now at least, that didn't mean others would be the same. Maybe it was past experiences coming back to haunt him or just good old-fashioned paranoia. Whatever it was, he could still feel eyes on him, a feeling that was smothering him like a blanket on a warm, Summer's night.

When he finally did glance up, it was to the demon boy doing some bizarre little jig without any rhyme or reason. He blinked slowly, face almost blank. Well, all right then. It was at that moment that he realized Gray's type- probably a bit of a class clown, goofy and outgoing. Everything, really, that Everett was not. He'd met people like this before, people like Gray, at his old school(his nice, normal school), but it was utterly bizarre to have someone like that actually talking to him let alone trying to amuse him.

His blank mask shattered when he gave a little snort of laughter, lips finally quirking upwards. For a moment, just a moment, his nerves seemed to lessen. That was, of course, when he glanced to his right to see someone walking by. It was a boy, he was almost sure of it despite the feminine features and long, golden hair. He's an angel, Everett's mind supplied helpfully, drawing up the one time he'd actually met an angel and the books he'd read about them before he showed up at Arcbell.

Angel or no, when he rolled his eyes, obviously scornful of the pair, Everett's eyes went right back down to the floor, the smile vanishing into a thin line. Right. Well, he supposed, not everyone can be as jolly as Gray or as non-offensive as Kai. Maybe it had been a good thing, catching sight of the moody angel. It reminded him to keep his guard up right when he'd been threatening to let it down.

Prothero Ender

Prothero was once again shocked by the hug. He blushed and gently pat Romeo. He was no good at this sort of thing but he had a feeling he would soon have to adapt. "I am glad you enjoyed it... Gray always freaks out when I fly him around... Despite being my brother he has no trust in me... Juliet doesn't mind but she's not big on heights..." Prothero smiled. "You are my first willing participant... Though I do hope to one day see Gray flying about... He does love the sky he just does not trust me as his brother..." Prothero then mumbled. "Though... I don't really trust him after he ate my head in his stupid chest cavity." Prothero then smiled and gently ran his finger along one of Romeo's horns. "Now what would you like to do?"

Gray Ender

Gray grinned. "Evie it is then!" Gray continued to walk happy he'd managed to cheer the human boy up. But the red heads smile was soon turned away. Gray blinked and looked over to see the source of this... It was the angel... Or well Gray was pretty sure he was an angel. Blinking Gray smiled, he hated seeing anyone upset. For all the things Gray refused to be greedy for he would admit he had a need and greed for people's joy. "Hey angel!" Gray waited until the angel looked over before he gave a grin. "Turn that frown upside down blondy! Your scaring the human, and honestly frowns don't look pretty on such a nice face... Or on yours either Evie." Gray folded his arms over his chest resisting the urge to pull down his sweater and allow his chest mouth to stick it's tongue out at them for laughs... He was pretty sure such an act would disgust the angel and frighten the human... Patience was key to making friends at this school. Though Gray had little patience. Gray stopped suddenly and pointed to a room. "This is where you get any information you need... The secretary is a really old vampire so because of her long life she doesn't always care and it might take awhile but she's super nice to everyone." Gray grinned happy he'd managed to be of any help.

Romeo was definitely curious at the mention of a chest cavity, but he decided it was best not to ask about it. Anyways, it didn't seem like his friend was too thrilled to talk about his brother, so he made it his job to get his mind off of it. That was what friends were for after all, right? Smiling, he released his grip on the older boy, pulling away only slightly. When he felt Prothero run his finger along his horn he blushed, biting his lower lip and ducking his head. "Umm," so it turns out he wasn't very good at this whole "getting your mind off of" thing. "Want to help me figure out who my new roommate is?" The boy looked hopeful, pulling out the puppy eyes and everything. "My old one graduated last year, so they're assigning me a new one." His smile fell slightly, he was going to miss his old friend.

Hey angel! Wolfram's step faltered, and slowly he came to a stop and turned to look at the two he had just been mentally judging. The annoyance must have been clear on his face, but it seemed the demon cared little for it. Being called blondy just made his anger rise, but it vanished when the demon said he had a nice face. He was sure he was blushing. Was it really that obvious that he liked guys? It wasn't his fault! This was going to ruin his life, if anyone else found out about it everything would just be for nothing. People were supposed to be afraid of him! Why else would he carry around a sword?

After a moment, Wolfie stomped over to the two, glaring at the red head as if to warn him to stay quiet. "How did you know?" his voice was very quiet, nearly a hiss as he contained his anger. Really, he was just making a fool of himself. Neither boys knew of his secret, how could they? But he was too blinded by his embarrassment and rage at this point. "Both of you better not say a word to anyone!" Glancing accusingly at both, he took a step backwards and then spun around, quickly retreating in the direction he had come from.

Everett's face flooded red with embarrassment as Gray called the angel out, still utterly cheerful, but that wasn't the point...! It just drew unneeded attention to them and by that, Everett meant to himself specifically. He wanted to protest that he wasn't frightened, but the sight of the angel stomping over to him(why him? Why not Gray? he mentally whimpered) demanding how he knew.

Knew? Knew what? Everett was shrinking into himself even if he had a good few inches on the blond angel, eyes wide, pressing himself back against the wall. It was, in the end, a wonderful thing that Gray didn't expose his chest mouth- Everett would have, without a doubt, run away at that point, never to be seen again.

"I-I-I," He spluttered before, with a final warning that still made absolutely no sense, he spun around and began to leave, ignoring the little scene he'd caused. There was an awkward silence for a moment.

"I'll just, um, go see the secretary then," He said awkwardly, eyes looking anywhere but at Gray's face as he disappeared into the office. It didn't, in the end, actually take very long to get himself all sorted out. Within a few moments, he was all check in and, in addition to his large bag, now had a packet containing everything he'd need- schedule, room number, room key, map, and an assortment of other things. Going back to the hallway, Everett glanced around hesitantly. He wasn't actually sure if Gray had stuck around or if there would be someone even more unpleasant waiting for him.

Prothero Ender

Prothero blinked. "If I believe correctly they renovated so it was one person per room." Prothero nodded. "Too many incidents last year..." Prothero blinked his icy eyes before looking back at the shorter demon. "Though some people did end up getting a shared room either way it was random as it always is... My sister did not but I did I believe my younger brother did as well..." Prothero blinked. "I heard my roomate was a demon... If I got stuck with my brother like last year..." Prothero huffed and shook his head. "Il end up having to force him to wear his clothes in the room... Him a his stupid boxers." Prothero blinked realizing what he said out loud. He snickered before laughing lightly. "Your easy to speak with Romeo... I find it relieving... Thank you." Prothero smiled it was a small rare smile but a smile non-the less.

Gray Ender

Gray blinked at the angel confused. But before he could really respond the blonde boy turned and walked off leaving a cowering Everett. Man, this human was indeed terrified. It made Gray feel bad... But he wasn't really accustom to humans being afraid of him. His parents had kept him away from that... And Juliet... Juliet had no idea about the prejudice between species. Gray watched the human walk into the office. How was he suppose to comfort a human anyway? Gray lifted himself into a small space above the office door frame and the ceiling. The space was often use'd for plants but Gray could fit his short lean body in there if he tried. He watched for Everett's head and when he emerged Gray let himself slide and hang down his face in front of the humans. "Hi." Gray grinned until he felt himself slip but it was too late he slid right off.

He fell off of the space and landed somehow on his back looking up at the boy. Gray laughed and grinned a little. "I wasn't meaning to drop in but... Hey!" Gray grinned and sat up rubbing his now hurting head. "So did you get one of the personal rooms or did you end up getting a dorm... They renovated so half the rooms are for one person the other half are dorms... The selection is random so is the amount of person per.room... I think it can be 3... I got a shared room." Gray grinned.

Everett was proud of himself, so, so proud of himself. When Gray swung down from, well, from somewhere, suddenly upside down in front of Everett before falling to the floor in a heap, Everett did not, repeat, he did not squeal like a little girl. No, instead he let out a slightly more dignified and manly yelp, throwing himself back up against the door frame, eyes wide open, a look of shock covering his face. When he finally realized who the person apparently trying to terrify him was, he relaxed only minutely. Was Gray trying to give him a heart attack? Probably not, but still. And that pun was awful, just awful.

The question caught him a little off guard as he began to calm down from the sudden shock, pausing for a moment before rifling through his large packet for the information. Finally, he pulled out a piece of paper and glanced over it.

"Um, a dorm, I think..." He said, holding out the piece of paper for Gray to inspect. "Look, um, are you all right?" His gaze was slowly traveling back to the floor. He realized the other boy wasn't really hurt, but still.

Romeo had somehow got them moving towards one of the library's reading areas while they were talking, and was now sitting comfortably on one side of the couch and watching as Prothero spoke at the other. At first he had been worried, hearing him say that they changed it to only one person a room. Being alone wasn't something he liked, which is why he hadn't had one, but two roommates the previous year. Just like being in the dark wasn't very pleasant for him either. It was a good thing that he had been able to become friends with his old roommates, because he tended to have to cuddle with them in the middle of the night just because he was scared. A demon, scared? Romeo definitely was the biggest scaredy-cat anyone could ever meet. He found himself laughing when Thero spoke about his brother running around in boxers, but when wasn't Romeo laughing? Everything amused the boy, he was so innocent and joyful, on the exterior. "No need to thank me, what are friends for?" He grinned, chewing on his bottom lip a moment before hopping up and taking his friends hand. "Come on, let's go find out who our roommates are! Wait, can we do that?"

When Wolfie got back to his room, everything was packed up. It rather annoyed him to find that they did it all by themselves, not even asking him about anything. How was he supposed to find his things? What if they stole something? Grumbling, he took his sword first, slinging it around his shoulder before grabbing the two other bags. The note on his door instructed him towards building B, third floor, room 26. With a heavy sigh, he hauled all of his things outside- thank god he was on the first floor -and then over to the other building. At least they had elevators, even if it would have been pretty easy for him to carry his things, he was rather lazy(and spoiled). Pushing open the door to his room revealed three beds, and immediately he frowned. "I have to room with two other people?" he grumbled to himself, throwing his things onto the bed near the corner. "Great," his voice was laced with sarcasm, even if no one was around to hear him. Throwing his things to the floor, he laid back on the bed and closed his eyes.

Prothero Ender

Prothero blinked. "I have no idea... I don't believe so..." Prothero thought for a moment. "Well... What room do you have any... I was assigned one roommate and it's on the second floor room 201." Prothero returned to his matter of fact way of speaking temporarily as he went over the details he had earlier memorized. "I know I only have one room mate as there were only two beds." Prothero smiled, though a silent part of him hoped he had a roommate like Romeo. The smaller demon was kind and gentle... And while he did use a little more physical contact then Prothero was use to he did not mind.

Gray Ender

Gray grinned. "Cool! And... Yeah course I'm fine..." Gray stood and dusted himself off quickly. "Let's go fin this dorm of yours ok?" He shoved his hands in his pockets and allowed the human to take the lead. "I'm sharing my own room with 2 people... I just hope there chill... I don't want to have to act like I'm at a super important social convention... I mean it's a bedroom I should be allowed to go shirtless if I so desire!" Gray huffed determined. Yes it was true there was the chest mouth... But hey that thing ate most of the time for Gray he hated forcing it under annoying cloth. Besides it wasn't all that scary... Was it? Gray frowned without realizing. He hated scaring people... People were never afraid of Prothero... Gray wasn't scary not he just had two mouths... And one was slightly bigger then the other... and on his chest... That wasn't scary it was just unique. Yeah, unique...

Two other people? Now, that was unfortunate indeed, in Everett's mind, since he valued privacy as one of the greatest things in life. Imagine, sharing a room with two other strangers, having to share that space... It was bad enough that he was being sent to a dorm with one roommate, let alone two. He decided not to dwell on the fact that Gray seemed pumped about running around without a shirt. Either he was very proud of his own physique, didn't quite care, or had a bit of an exhibitionist streak. Either way, it wasn't Everett's problem.

"Ah, okay," He agreed and, fumbling with his map since it was apparently going to be his job to actually navigate his way to the dorm, and pulling out his room assignment from the stack of papers in his packet. It was nice? Yes, nice. It was nice that Gray was still acting as his unofficial tour guide, especially given that Everett wasn't the best with directions. So, yes, he'd be using the shorter boy as a walking talking GPS.

"It's, uh, building B, third floor, room 26. Do you know what direction that's in?" He finally asked, giving up on the map.
