Variscrite had fallen asleep under some brush curled up tightly to keep warm in the cool night before. He awoke slowly his green eyes flash under the brush. Slowly, he began to slip from under the brush and stretched his limbs his dusty colored white ears and tail were covered in dirt and some brush. Variscrite shook the dust and foliage from his tail and hair. Staying on all fours as he did so since he was use to it. Only when he walked at certain points would he stand on two legs.

"But, if I were to run away with you, then, I wouldn't be able to harm them anymore." Then Zamaa smiled hopefully up at Zalele with tears streaming down her face. His ears moved a bit to the sound and walked cautiously to the sound. There were two people there smells different than anything else he smelled. Variscrite was hidden in some brush, but his head still poked out along with his collar and chain attached to it. He didn't move but his green and golden eyes looked with curiosity and unsureness of this situation.

"Oh thank you! Thank you so much!" Zamaa smiled and bounced around Zalele with her eyes closing in joy. "I'll help too, I will I will! I can, I can.." Zamaa thought hard with her eyebrows furrowing. Then her eyes popped open and she stared at the boy poking his head out of the bush by them. "EEK!" Zamaa ran around Zalele and poked her head around in such away it looked like Zalele had a head coming off her side. Then she realized the person had ears and she smiled shyly. "Hello Mister."

The nearly-blind dog hybrid, on the mountain on which he lingered, rocked back and fourth in the old rocking chair he owned, and the history behind this chair, was that a very kind blind woman gave it to him because her husband complained about it hurting his back; but it felt quite fine to the dog boy, in all honesty. Said boy watched the moving blurs down below the mountain; as he could pick up with his senses, it was a younger girl, a girl his age, and a male. To his right, he could sense the agitation from a female human girl trailing down a creamy sidewalk.

To his left, he could feel the vibrations of silent wings beats coming from a humanoid creature; perhaps an owl hybrid? Looking to his close right, he rocked back slowly to scoop up the lost ferret he took in ever since those beastly humans never decided to try to find him, in which he named it Ki. Scratching the ferret's head gently as he listened to it giggle softly, it scurried away from him afterwards and back into the church.

Getting up, the male, called Ai-Ai, comfortably put each hand in a sleeve of his kimono, basically hiding his hands though his arms being visible. "I can tell they too are my type," he murmured under his breath. "Perhaps I could bring them something..?"

Nodding, he shuffled into the church, his shoes making a clacking noise as the hard wooden heels pressed against the tiled floor; though once he got all the way inside, you could not hear the echoes as he put down a couple of carpets, of course, stolen from a trash dump, and sprayed down with freshener. Wakahisa filled a couple of glasses with water, of course, stolen water and glasses since he couldn't simply go out and buy them, and by his senses, there were 3 people, or hybrids, down there. Putting the cap on the huge bottle of water, he put the glasses on a green plastic tray and shuffled out of the abandoned church, looking downwards down the mountain. "At this moment, I wish I had wings."

The male sighed. "Wish me luck, earth, if I don't go tumbling on you," he chuckled and walked down the mountain, tapping his green fingernails (green nail polish. everything is basically stolen from humans) against the glasses, and soon once he made his way down, he saw he was closer to the blurs that were now almost completely visible.

Getting closer, he flicked his dog ears, and once he was real close, he bowed. "Ai-Ai has noticed you, and I am delighted to see that there are others like me. Rarely do I see your kind roam across these parts, as the ones I know live in the city, well you know, in hiding though." The male blinked his pupil deprived eyes and smiled. "Since, well, I felt you all down here, even the hiding boy, I decided to bring you all drinks. Hopefully I don't scare you or anything, though," he said with a hearty chuckle. "I'm not exactly normal."

Looking down at the smaller form, which he could make out to be at least 14 or 16, he crouched down in front of Zamaa and smiled. "I'm Ai-Ai Ko Wakahisa, a dog hybrid. Who are you?" He asked softly, as his gaze strayed off up towards the neko girl that the 16 year old was hiding behind, and he rose a brow in curiosity.

Variscrite watched carefully as he moved closer to the females. Another one came an odd smelling one like the females, but different he was a male and smelled of dog. Curiosity got the best of him as he slipped out from under the brush. He didn't say anything, but simply moved out of the brush still moving on all fours. It was evident that Variscrite didn't have very much his humanity, but he still had some. The male blinked his pupil deprived eyes and smiled. "Since, well, I felt you all down here, even the hiding boy, I decided to bring you all drinks. Hopefully I don't scare you or anything, though," he said with a hearty chuckle. "I'm not exactly normal. "I'm Ai-Ai Ko Wakahisa, a dog hybrid. Who are you?" He asked softly, as his gaze strayed off up towards the neko girl that the 16 year old was hiding behind, and he rose a brow in curiosity. The new male felt different evidently he couldn't see well, but his voice carried no ill-will, so he drew closer.

Variscrite had to carefully form his words, he wasn't use to talking very much. Slowly he began to form the words as to answer the question of Ai-Ai, after all he understood human speech. However, speaking was very difficult for him. "Vari. . . Variscri. . ." He struggled with his own name it was hard for him to pronounce and form the words. "Variscr. . . Vari. . .scrite. . . Variscrite . . .Woo. . . lf. . . ." Variscrite stopped for a minute as he shook his head in order to clear his voice. The chain around his neck along with collar chimed as he did so. "Variscrite wolf . . . wolf hy. . . .wolf hybrid." Finally managing to say the full introduction.

When Zamaa saw the man in the kimono talking to her like she was a little kid, the tension in the air soared and she stepped away from Zalele only to stand beside her and hold her hand for security. "I'm not a little kid." She said assertively. "You don't have to talk to me like I am one." She glared at the glasses he held. Then when she saw the drink, her eyes lit up. "Is that water?!" She leaned forward eagerly and sniffed it as if double checking. "Oh, It is!!! Can I have some, it's been so long since I've had clean water..." She finished off wistfully. Then she turned to Variscrite, letting go of Zalele's hand in the process. "Mister, can I call you Vari?" then she grinned at him happily.

"Mmh, I agree." Zamaa said to Zalele, then she turned to Ai. "Some other time maybe." Then she pulled out a sheet of paper and drew the 4 of them, Variscrite, Ai, Zalele and herself talking then she gave a copy to Ai and another to Variscrite after writing all their names on it. Then she looked up at the sky and gasped when she realized what time it was. "I'm sorry but I have to go. Zalele, will I see you tomarrow?" Zamaa looked at the older girl with large, hopeful eyes.

Vascrite sat with one leg up and the other kind of bent. It was the way he sat as he watched the others unsure what to do for the moment. He looked at one of the girls with his green eyes. Then she turned to Variscrite, letting go of Zalele's hand in the process. "Mister, can I call you Vari?" then she grinned at him happily. He nodded at Zamaa. "Yes, Vari . . . is . . .ssss." Vascrite nodded again and just shorten his answer. "Yes." This was probably the best answer he would give besides his own name.

Picking up a glass, he shuffled over to the male and crouched down to get in eye contact with him. "Hello, Variscrite," he greeted softly. Gently setting down the glass in front of the male wolf hybrid, he moved backwards and looked at the other two hybrids, now standing and his hands resting in the sleeves of his kimono, his tail swaying to the side in a soft rhythm. Variscite took the water and began to drank slowly his tail wagged at the taste of water that was clean. He drunk the water slow though to make the water absorb in his body more quickly. Watching Zamaa leave he felt kind of sad his ears flatten little bit. Ai-Ai said he need help getting up the slope so he got closer to him and shook his neck so the chain would chime. Variscrite was sure he could lead him where ever since his scent was still on the ground. Back tracking was easy enough. "Help . . .Ai."

Variscrite followed Ai-Ai all the way to his house there was breeze that passed by that brought the smells of all around the area. It smelled nice and felt good too. The moon was rising a bit which made Variscrite very happy something about the moon made his heart pound with excitement. The dog boy smiled, watching the crouching form. "If you want, you can come inside with me, but that is your choice." Ai-Ai chuckled. He watched as Ai-Ai went inside, but he didn't go inside he'd stayed outside. Laying next to the door and listening to the sounds of the crickets and breeze through the trees. His steady green eyes watched the area.
