xxAppearance:
Daniel has been described as any girl's bad boy fantasy. With light brown eyes that go from seductive to innocent within a few seconds, he can easily play the role of a seductive puppy. His face is very open and approachable making him nonthreatening to others. However, his scruff on his face makes him appear more 'dangerous,' but with a clean shaven face, he turns into an young teenager. Dark brown hair is usually swept out of his face, typically styled up with hair gel. If his hair is ever not styled, Daniel will throw on a backwards ball cap. He can't rock the messy look because it looks like he hasn't showered in a few days. Daniel stands at 6'0, sometimes 6'1 if he has the right shoes. Daniel has a muscular build, most of his definition in his arms and abdomen. He doesn't have an piercings, but has a sleeve tattoo on his right arm. There's no particular meaning behind, he was just drunk and it turned out cooler than he thought.

It's typically hot where he's from so a pair of shorts and sleeveless tops are always on hand. He enjoys the nautical style since his workplace and home are near the beach. He spends a ton of time at there so he likes his swim trunks and shirtless-ness too. Daniel has been described as a nudist, because of his dislike of wearing many layers of clothing. He feels most comfortable in a pair of shorts, nothing else. Daniel knows he has to wear clothes, but feels more comfortable without them. Not that he goes around naked or anything, but he's comfortable enough in his own skin to not be insecure about it.

ImageImage
xxPersonality:
If someone where to describe confidence using a person, Daniel is the closest human example. Daniel has the kind of confidence that can translate to arrogance. He likes to say he just knows his worth, but that also sounds arrogant. He's an extroverted, party boy that doesn't care what people think of him. It can make him seem insensitive, which is also true. If something doesn't effect him or the few people he cares about, he doesn't care. Daniel doesn't have any dark reason why he can be an ass to people, but he owns his asshole-ness. If someone has a problem with him, again it's not his problem. Daniel has a touch of impulsiveness that was much worse when he was younger. He likes the adventure and thrill of doing something crazy and it's a habit he doesn't get to indulge in as much.

With all of his flaws, Daniel is a fun person. He has a charisma that makes people want to be around him and be his friend. Daniel's natural leadership skills only helps draw more people in. Most people think of Daniel as the stereotypical dumb, party boy. Daniel is more strategic than people think he is. He observes other people and uses the information he gathers to his benefit. He enjoys playing the long con and seeing how he can make things better for him. He's not afraid to admit he's manipulative and ass, but he has a secret sweet side. Daniel is a very affectionate person and enjoys the sweetness of intimacy, not just the physical side. He's a supportive individual to those he cares for and will do his best to help them. Despite his status back home in relationships, he can be loyal when he tries.

xxHistory:
Born the youngest of four boys, Daniel's childhood was a humble one. His parents immigrated from to America when they were children, his father from Mexico and his mother from Spain. The two met when they were in high school, married after they graduated, and had Daniel's oldest brother, Gustavo, a year later. Neither parent came from a wealthy background so Daniel's family lived from pay check to pay check. His mother, SofΓa, worked days as a elementary school teacher and worked as a seamstress by night. Daniel's father, Hector, worked as a construction manager. Daniel's older brother ended up raising his younger brothers with their parents working so often. Daniel's time with his parents was rare, but he never doubted they cared for all them.

Daniel spent most of his childhood causing trouble with his brothers. With his parents so rarely around, he lived a carefree lifestyle. He would wander around the neighborhood and trouble always seemed to find him. Gustavo and his second oldest brother, Isaac, tried their best to keep the rambunctious Daniel out of trouble. Being that they were from Miami, his brothers tried to channel Daniel's energy into athletics. The five brothers spent a lot of time at the beach nearby, showing Daniel how to surf. Daniel picked it up fast and learned to love it. Daniel also loved karate. A karate teacher lived in their neighborhood and saw Daniel's potential. He offered Daniel the chance to learn in his dojo for free as long as he helped after class with clean up. It was a done deal for Daniel and he soon mastered the fighting style. He never did use his karate skills to start fights, just to finish them.

Once Daniel got into high school, hormones hit him hard. Daniel became somewhat obsessed with dating as many girls as possible. He gained a reputation as a player very quickly, but it only elevated his reputation in high school. Daniel was the guy every boy wanted to be and every girl wanted to date him and try to 'change' him. His attraction to the opposite sex was a surprise. Daniel didn't think much of people knowing his sexuality, he wasn't ashamed of it. However, broadcasting it to the entire school was not worth the trouble. His close friends and brothers knew, but his parents were kept in the dark. His parents had the dream of each of their sons finding a nice girl to settle down with and build a family with. Daniel didn't want to burden his parents with the idea that it might never happen. His parents still don't know.

After high school, Daniel lived his life as a college boy minus the college part. He spent time with his friends partying and hooking up, picking up money as a bartender. Daniel knew alcohol and he made a good amount of money each night. His family wasn't thrilled with his life choice. Daniel's choices eventually caught up to him. A girl Daniel had been hooking up with for a few weeks found out she was pregnant. The girl, Marianna, was convinced it was her boyfriend's, whom she had been off and one with. Whenever they broke up, she was with Daniel. Marianna was convinced the baby was her boyfriend's so she ended her dalliance with Daniel. It wasn't till the birth of the baby when she realized it wasn't her boyfriend's. Daniel was called to the hospital, believing it was something about an STD. Daniel found himself being a reluctant father, forcing him to leave his party ways behind.

Naming his newborn daughter Luciana Stella Moralez, Daniel shared joint custody with Marianna. Daniel's family was shocked to find their twenty-two year old son with a newborn, but helped out their youngest with the new addition. Daniel soon realized that his baby momma was not going to be a good parent. She was always leaving the baby with friends and was out doing questionable activities. One day, Marianna dropped Lucy off and never came back for her. Daniel found out from some friends that she ran off with a new boyfriend. Daniel's parent moved to Miami to help raise Lucy. Daniel took his bartender job more seriously and is slowly working his way up to bar manager. Life is difficult, but the smile on his daughter's face makes it worth it.

Daniel's playboy ways still exist despite his new role as a father. He is even more against commitment now that he has a daughter. Daniel doesn't want to put Lucy through another mother figure leaving. His family, wanting something better for him, recommended this show called 'Are you the One?' Daniel was against the idea until he heard there was a money prize. Winning would mean a better life for him and Lucy, plus the beautiful people he would be surrounded with. Win win.

xxSeeking:
"I just want someone who's fun and spontaneous. I like people who can just be with me and not care if people are gonna be judgmental. I'm not looking for forever at the moment, but I'd like someone where that could be a possibility. They don't have to want them, but hating kids is a deal breaker."

Honestly, Daniel is not expecting to find his true love on this show. He's there for the money and to hookup. Despite that, he is open to finding a someone. He'd like someone who gets along with Lucy, but isn't expecting them to be a parent to her. As much as he wants someone who's spontaneous and fun, he knows he needs some kind of reliability from his spouse. Honestly? Daniel wants someone who'll make everyday interesting, make him laugh, and keep him young.

xxLikes
Daniel has always had a fascination with alcohol and if asked about it, Daniel will always say it is his one true love. Daniel finds confidence to be the sexiest quality in the world. Nothing charms him more than a confident person. As a child, Daniel's favorite activity was surfing and he still surfs today. He's skilled enough to get respect from other surfers, but would fail in any competition. He loves thriller movies, anything that can keep him on his toes is awesome in his mind. If there is one thing that Daniel loves more than anything it's peanut butter. There's a joke among his family that he'll eat it straight out of the container (which he has done before).

xxDislikes:
While Daniel knows people aren't as confident as him, he finds self consciousness very unattractive. Not everyone can be as great as him, but they could at least act like it. He also finds nagging people to be another mood crusher. Why can't they take the stick out of their ass? Labels have always been a pain in his ass. They've always complicated things. Don't judge him based off his reputation. Daniel finds shopping to be very unbearable. As long as you get what you need, why hang around? It shouldn't take two hours to buy one thing. Cats have always been a source of dread for Daniel. He had a bad experience with one when he was a kid so he avoids them at all cost.

xxStrengths:
Anything involving social skills Daniel excels at. He has the gift of persuasion
. Daniel is also strong athletically. He grew up playing all kinds of sports and still practices karate. If there is one thing to never doubt about Daniel is that he is ambitious and determined. He's here for the money and he is going to get it. Also, Daniel is a killer bartender. His drinks will make you lose your mind, and your inhibitions.

xxWeaknesses:
Daniel's biggest weakness on the show will be his commitment issues. Daniel has trouble committing to one person and asking for it too soon will scare him off. Daniel's behavior will also get him in a lot of trouble. He can be a selfish person and it rubs others the wrong way. His impulsiveness might hurt him later down the line. He may be strategic, but his emotions control him more than he controls them. Daniel is very competitive and that can make teamwork difficult.

ImagexxFun Facts:

  1. 100% will agree if called an asshole
  2. Is known as the brutally honest drunk
  3. Is a black belt in karate
  4. Daniel fakes it as best as he can, but he has no dancing skills, very rhythmically challenged.
  5. Once while surfing, Daniel came face to face with a shark. There was no attack, but it was terrifying.

  1. "You're so hot, even my pants are falling for you."
  2. I wonder how many strangers hate me bc of how someone else described me to them.
  3. My kink is not opening messages and pretending they're not there.

DAY 01
Paradise Island, Bahamas
Image

The sound of crushing waves can be heard in the distance as fourteen complete strangers stand before James Haynes, the host of Are You the One, with their new home behind them. This luxury villa will be their home for the next seven weeks as they go on a journey to find their perfect match. Seven men stand on the left side and seven women on the right. A few are already eyeing the opposites appraising each of them.

"Welcome everyone. You are all here for one thing, because you all have one thing in common: you suck at relationships." A few people laugh nervously, some shrug more or less agreeing, and others grit their teeth awkwardly. "Each one of you has been put through an extensive matchmaking process, using psychologists, compatibility tests, professional matchmakers, and information from your friends, families, and exes. Through this, we've been able to find an ideal match for each of you."

"Take a look at those across from you. One of them is your perfect match and it's up to you to find out who it is. You will have seven chances to pair up and find those seven, perfect matches. If you can do that, you'll leave the island with love and one more thing..." He pauses for dramatic effect, the contestants stare at him excitedly, "You will split the largest cash prize ever offered in MTV History. ONE MILLION DOLLARS!" The group cheers, pleased by this news. "Good luck!"

After finishing the show introduction, everyone moved inside the house. The sky was slowly moving into dusk so it was time to get the intros out of the way. Daniel lead the way, taking on the role of pack leader like he does with most things. While the house was gorgeous and he definitely appreciated it, he was more drawn to the bar hidden behind the staircase leading upstairs. 'Finally, my area of expertise.' He found an unopened bottle of champagne with fourteen glasses. He preferred something a lot stronger, but he can make do with this for now. "I found the alcohol everybody! Let's get this party started!" He began to pour drinks to anyone who held their glass out. He made his signature flirty eyes to a few of the girls before serving everyone.

Daniel raised his glass, "May we all find love or at least a good time! I look forward to getting to know all of you and I can't wait to find my match among these beautiful ladies. To being rich in love and rich with love." Daniel took a drink, finishing his toast. He ended up drinking the whole thing at once. A glass of champagne wouldn't have any effect on him so chugging the thing wouldn't hurt him.

~
Confessional
"I was laying it on thick when I gave that toast. I'm here to win the money. The girls in this house better not pull the whole, " He pauses, making his voice high pitched and valley girl sounding, "I like him, but he's not my match' thing, because I'm not losing 70K just because you felt something for the wrong person. If I find an awesome girl, great, but I won't have a hopeless romantic ruining this for me... God, I feel bad for the girl you've paired with me."
~

The toasting having ended, introductions among the contestants began. Daniel was right in the middle of it. Did he go over to the cute blonde he saw earlier? Or red hair? He could go to one of the three brunette girls or the two black haired ones. He decided on one of the brunettes. He thought he heard her name started with K. She was easily one of the hottest girls in the house and had the 'Head Bitch in Charge' look about her. He liked the difficult ones. They were the hardest to win over and most likely his type. Assholes tend to go with the bitchy girls so why not start there?

Daniel approached her, going straight for the hug. It was appropriate considering what this show was about and it didn't hurt to have some physical contact. "Hey! How ya doin'? I'm Daniel."

Joshua Haggerty
{Twenty-Five - #194BF2 - Atlanta, Georgia - HERE}
Joshua followed the rest of the men down the stairs and straight to the bar. The pack was led by one whom he wasn't too find of, Daniel. He had a pack leader quality that reminded him of the popular kids in high school, and this wasn't high school. Daniel had taken it upon himself to pop open the first bottle of champagne of the night and pour for those who extended their glasses, which Joshua did.

He took the opportunity to let his eyes scan the crowd. There were so many beautiful women and he wasn't sure who he wanted to approach first. His gaze lingered on a caramel skinned girl with very curly hair, trying to catch her eye. He thought her name was Franky but he would have to ask again after they - oh no, Daniel had decided to give a toast. This ought to be good.

"May we all find love or at least a good time! I look forward to getting to know all of you and I can't wait to find my match among these beautiful ladies. To being rich in love and rich with love." Daniel spoke, raising his glass. Josh followed suit but rolled his eyes a little bit at a speech he was fairly sure was bullshit.

~
Confessional:
"That guy is full of shit. I really hope none of the girls are falling for his show. He might be a great time at a party, but I don't see him being serious enough to have a full time relationship.
When things with him start to go down hill just remember that you heard it from me first."

Josh winks at the camera.
~

They all clinked their glasses together and Josh downed his in one swig. Finally, the theatrics were over and it was time to get down to business. He nudged the man next to him, Tony, and asked, "Who are you going after?" Tony was a good man as far as Josh could tell and he already considered him to be the best friend he'd made here thus far. He hoped there was a woman here who was good enough for the southern grown, traditional, gentleman that Tony was.

While he was waiting for a reply, Josh's eyes had found Franky again, but they had also glanced a girl named Gracie and another one named Gwyn. It was difficult to know who would be the smartest to approach first as they were all stunning. Since it was only the first night of many, though, he didn't figure it would matter too much whom he talked to and whom, if anyone, he hooked up with tonight. He turned back to the bar and got a shot of Jack Daniels. Within seconds it was gone and quickly replaced with a rocks glass full of Jameson, neat. He took a small sip and licked his lips, eye darting between the girls and wondering to himself if anyone was hoping he'd be the one to approach them.

Franky Gamal
{ Twenty-Five || #008080 || Orlando, FL || HERE }

Franky is pretty pumped, truth be told. When she signed up for this show, the young woman did so with the mindset of being open for just about anything, especially open to the idea of the cash prize. That being said, she's already been impressed by how much she likes a lot of the girls here- they aren't exactly what she imagined for a reality TV show. All gorgeous, of course, but otherwise. Then again, she wouldn't really imagine herself being on the typical reality TV show either. In fact, if you had suggested it to Franky when she was in college, she'd have laughed in your face. Now, she's doing it mainly as a laugh before starting her new job in Seattle. And looking around at everyone here, Franky certainly does not regret the decision. While she may not truly believe in a perfect match or anything like that, she sees plenty of people whom she wouldn't mind matching with for the night. The group naturally gravitates towards a well stocked bar. Bless, is the first thing that runs through her mind before making her way quite directly to the bar to see if they have something good. With the budget of this show, they must.

Before the young woman can pour herself a shot of some particularly nice looking tequila, (she's already found some salt and a pre-sliced lime, as Franky is a traditionalist about her tequila shots) some guy -she thinks his name might have been Daniel?- makes a toast. Franky can't help but let out a little snort when he refers to the women as 'beautiful ladies'.

---
Confessional
"I'm not saying I have a problem with this guy making a bogus toast. He's playing the game just like the rest of us, I totally respect that. But god, everytime I hear someone refer to a group as 'beautiful ladies' I imagine them as a skeevy host to some second rate beauty pageant or some shit like that. Oh, fuck, am I not supposed to swear? Shit. I mean- Oh, whatever, you'll censor it, won't ya?"
Franky flashes a toothy grin at the camera.
---

With a second thought, Franky pours a second tequila shot and scans the crowd for someone to take it with. Her eyes at first settle on Kat, a gorgeous fellow engineer with attitude for days that she certainly wouldn't mind having a bit of fun with, but the toast guy has already approached her. Franky isn't one to interrupt someone trying to shoot their shot, as long as both parties seem okay with it, so she looks around for another partner. Of course, her eyes then settle on Gwyn, and her expression visibly brightens back up. They have only barely met each other, and already Franky is convinced she has found her best friend in the lively musician. Franky walks up to her and extends a tequila shot.

"Are you ready to make some drunken mistakes in front of the entire country?" she half-jokes with a smile. While looking at Gwyn, she notices a guy with dark hair sitting at the bar scanning the group. When his eyes settle on her, she raises her eyebrows at him before winking and turning her full attention back to Gwyn.

Sienna followed the group from the back, watching them all with a judgemental curiosity. Apparently one of them was going to be her match. Well, just by looking at them, none of them looked immediately like her type. That was, none of them looked stupid rich. But to be seen as playing along, she took the offered glass of champagne. The toast made her raise an eyebrow in scepticism as she sipped her drink.

Confessional:

Did anyone really believe that toast? Like, I saw right through it. And that was my first impression. Like, come on, man. If you're going to put on this grand, romantic act, at least make it believable.

She would have loved to have savoured the taste of the champagne. It tasted like luxury, like the life she wanted and would get, no matter what. But this was no charity gala, and she was guessing that everybody else intended on getting as drunk as possible. And hey, the alcohol was free. She wasn't going to turn it down.

She poured herself a strong vodka and coke, even digging out a straw and cocktail umbrella. She surveyed the room as she sipped her drink, eyeing up which of the guys seemed the least boring and most likely to be her match. First impressions were not good.

Confessional:

Hey, I know first impressions aren't always accurate and all that. But when you're as picky as I am? First impressions are everything. I know what I like in a guy. Confidence is attractive, arrogance is not. A guy comes across as arrogant? He's not getting as much as a second glance from me.

But scanning a room like the one she was in, it was hard to tell where confidence stopped and arrogance began. Having just given up on judging everyone, she turned to the guy nearest her. "Hey. You're... Elliot, right?" She asked. "Sienna. So. Fallen hopelessly in love with anyone yet?" She add, sipping on her drink with a smirk.

Gwynivere Reid laughed and joined in on the fun. The Bahamas sun felt good on her skin and she longed for a book in her hands, sitting in the warm sand, enjoying the breeze, on this beautiful day. Yet, for some reason, the group decided on moving inside... Inside the monumental house, it was so dark compared to the outside, that Gwyn's vision struggled to adjust. Her gaze past from face to face, she exchanged little smiles, and friendly hellos. She felt a gust of wind against her back, sending her towards her inevitable humiliation.

One million dollars, she could still hear ringing in her ears. Gwyn couldn't help but feel embarrassed. Why was she doing this? She sat through interrogation after interrogation held by the MTV producers. She was convinced she was doing what was best for her career. While her sister approved ardently, Gwynivere's mother saw it as a cop-out. She scolded Gwyn all the way from North Carolina on the telephone. "You have no sympathy for my poor nerves," she'd say. There was a small part of Gwyn that agreed with her mother. It was a cop-out, and if she was worth her salt, she'd be able to boost her career through pure talent. But how could she sneeze at an opportunity like this. 70K richer, Mrs. Reid wouldn't be complaining.

Confessional ───────────────────────────────────────────────

"I'm certain this is the worst decision I've ever made, but I can't lie! I'm looking forward to it! As long as I'm not too far away from Franky, I'll probably be fine."

─────────────────────────────────────────────── Confessional

Once Gwynivere adjusted to the indoor lighting, she greeted her friend happily. The sunshine suited Franky, Gwynivere thought, and her colorful graphic t-shirt made Gwyn grin.
"Are you ready to make some drunken mistakes in front of the entire country?" Extended to her was shot glass full of what Gwyn could only assume was tequila. She readily accepted the glass and downed it. It burned, and she winced, but when she regained her composure, she laughed and said, "Now I am."

Gwyn caught Franky's wink, and couldn't help but search for the lucky man. Gwynivere grabbed her friend by the arm, and willfully strode towards the source of the wink. Joshua, was his name. "Unacceptable. Fraternizing with the enemy. What will I do with you?" She taunted Franky.

Gwyn didn't outright approach Josh, but they were near enough that a conversation could easily be started if Josh made the first move. Gwynivere glanced at the stranger, then back at her companion.
"He's cute!" Gwyn said softly.

Elliot Ida Crowley enjoyed the sight of the mob. It bubbled over with laughter and excitement. Sweet smiles, overly friendly introductions -all were exchanged in the first few minutes of the show. Elliot looked like a shark, planted firmly at the center of the chaos. He observed each character carefully, and when prompted he greeted the pretty faces that passed by.

Elliot found his glass of champagne and played along with the toast.
"May we all find love or at least a good time! I look forward to getting to know all of you and I can't wait to find my match among these beautiful ladies. To being rich in love and rich with love." Sure it was BS, but so was all of it. That was the whole point of the game, and Elli loved it.

Ell found his way to the bar and leaned against it. To his right, a woman started speaking to him.
"Hey. You're... Elliot, right? Sienna." Elliot faced her, the glass still to his lips. She was pretty, and something about her screamed confidence. "So. Fallen hopelessly in love with anyone yet?" She teased him.

Confessional ───────────────────────────────────────────────

"This is easier than I thought it would be. What with my ridiculously good looks, I should have no problem at all."

─────────────────────────────────────────────── Confessional

Elliot snickered and glanced down at his drink.
"Fall? No- ehh, I'm more of a stumbler. Not very attractive, I'm afraid." He took another sip, and returned her gaze. "And you?"

Sienna seemed quick-witted, and he didn't mind spending his first televised conversation with her. Maybe she was his match made in heaven- or Hollywood Hell. Tous les meme. It was all the same to him. He relaxed into the counter and soaked it all in. From the vaulted ceilings, to the stained glass accents on the built-in shelving above the bar. The dark tile on the floor reminded him of a trip to Mexico he had in grade eleven, not to mention, the memories of sober mornings and regret.

Elliot gave her a toothy grin.
"I mean, if you like what you see, I can be yours. For a price." Elliot punctuated his sentence with a wink and gestured at his particularly average physique. After finishing his champagne, he loomed somewhat closer to her. Elliot was a slime-ball, and he knew it, but he felt it was part of his appeal. He had nothing to lose. Well, aside from $70,000.

Oddly enough, Katherine did not feel out of place. She could tell that most of the other girls had been fairly nervous about meeting the men of the show but for Kat, she couldn’t have felt better. Not to mention she was getting a little bored of just talking to the others girls, although there were quite a few that she found actually interesting. Franky, for one. Badass and beautiful the two had easily fallen into a rather flirtatious friendship. Katherine knew that the show was rather heteronormal, but she was here to have fun right? No matter the party.

The first man that caught her eye was none other than the one making the toast. "May we all find love or at least a good time! I look forward to getting to know all of you and I can't wait to find my match among these beautiful ladies. To being rich in love and rich with love.” If she wasn’t trying to hold herself back she would’ve snorted in laughter, whoever he was she could tell he was full of shit. She knew because she was exactly the same. Katherine could not deny to herself, how attractive he was, she’d have to get to know him quite well.

Fortunately for her, he had decided the exact same thing.

Confession Booth:
β€œWould you look at that? I didn't even have to try. This might be easier than I thought.”

He took rather confident strides in her direction, and she locked eyes with him. There was nothing Katherine hated more than not being confident when it came to relationships. He instantly went in for a hug, which she returned, noticing the rather intoxicating scent of his cologne. ”Hey! How ya doin'? I'm Daniel.” Daniel. It suited him. She looked at him through her thick lashes, putting on a rather flirty smirk, after all what would be the point of the show if she didn’t at least try. ”Katherine. You can call me Kat, if you’d like.”
She grabbed a champagne flute off the table for herself, taking a rather careful sip. ”I’ll be better in about five minutes” She raised the flute slightly with a small wink. ”What about yourself? See anything that’s caught your eye yet?” She cocked her head slightly to the right, the right side of her lip tugging up in a smirk. She loved teasing men, sometimes it was funny watching them squirm under her gaze. With Daniel however, she felt it would be quite different, which intrigued her. She had met many men like him in the past, arrognat, flirty, confident, they were often the easiest to talk to, but the hardest to keep. She’d just have to see.

Sydney was a little nervous. It wasn’t everyday that your love life was broadcast blatantly on television. However, she refused to let herself get bogged down by the thought, after all it was first impressions and she planned on making a rather good one. The man making the toast, caught her eye slightly, he definitely was attractive, but she had to remind herself that she couldn’t just force herself to attach to someone head on and fall head first. After all, this is exactly why she decided to join the show in the first place, to challenge herself.

Everyone instantly seemed to know where to go and who to talk to, Syd did not. She felt rather lost as all of the other girls that she had befriended ventured off to meet the boys. She bounced slightly on her heels for a moment, taking a deep breath. She never had a problem to talking to people, let alone make friends, so she didn’t know why she was so nervous.

Confession Booth:
β€œThis is already going worse than I thought.
Who knew putting yourself out there was so hard -”

After a moment she noticed a younger man sitting at the bar by himself, drinking a cherry coke. She thought it was odd that he seemed to be the only one not indulging in the alcohol, which intrigued her even more. She took a deep breath, before pushing off in the direction of the bar, clearing her throat slightly. God, she was terribly awkward. ”Hi, is this seat taken?”
She gestured towards the, obviously empty, barstool next to him. ”I’m Sydney”. This was going to be harder than she thought.

Daniel couldn't believe how easy this was becoming. It was the first night and he had the attention of the hottest girl in the house. Strategy wise, he should try to get to know the others girls tonight, too. If he only focused on Katherine, he'd have a tougher time finding his match. But what the hell, it was only the first few hours.

Daniel watched with a smile as she batted those pretty eyes at him. The flirting game was only beginning and something told Daniel she plays to win, just like him. A potential match possibly. He leaned on the table, mocking her by taking a drink from his champagne flute. He never broke eye contact with her as he took a sip. Daniel knew he was right about her. She was the type of girl who wanted to be in charge. However, Daniel didn't fall for every pretty girl he set his eye on and Katherine would be mistaken if she thought he would be wrapped around her finger.

"I guess you can call me Dan, if you like," Daniel says playfully, "I've seen a few things I tonight. A certain lady in red has caught my eye, makes me feel like a bull. I'm tempted to go ahead and charge, but I'm being a gentleman tonight." What he said might be on the crude side, but he had a feeling Katherine would approve.

Daniel heard the girl.... blondie he thinks, call out about the bedroom upstairs. He didn't know what bed arrangements entail, but it was likely going to be tight and push them all together. Hell, if he gets to spend the night with one of the girls in bed it's been a good day. That was with no sex involved too. Hooking up the first night will lead to disaster. A slow seduction would be the most effective to win any of these girls over. Rushing things leads to attachment and attachment to the wrong person means no 70K. If the girl in front of him is his match, great, but he wasn't about to get too attached, although she is his current front runner.

"Would it be bold of me to ask you to check out the bedrooms with me?" Daniel didn't seen any reason for her to say no, but you never know.

XXXXXXXXElizabeth Sawyer

Elizabeth took a second to flop on one the beds nearby. It was so soft, felt like she was on a cloud. If she wasn't nervous/excited and had a drink, she might've fallen asleep right there. It still boggled her mind about possibly sharing a bed with one of the guys. Elizabeth has always been told she was old fashioned, but sleeping, and she means just sleeping with a stranger after first meeting them, felt wrong. It was the way she was raised and logically, it made sense to her. Sleeping with a stranger sounds like it could lead to wrong impressions. Elizabeth is super happy to have a bedmate who's a girl to make this easier. She would have no idea what to say if a guy asked her to share a bed.

"I guess they want us up close and personal." Elizabeth shot up from the bed when she heard a new voice. It was too deep to be Gracie's. The tattooed guy from earlier sat across them on another bed. His name started with a J she thinks, but she believes their are two other guys with J names here. Elizabeth didn't know what to think of him, but he was very handsome, in a dangerous bad boy way. His remark put her a bit on edge, because he wasn't sure if it was a statement or some kind of pick up line. Again, Elizabeth couldn't get a good read on him.

"Maybe, I'm more of a 'get to know you better before hoping into bed' type. I'm Elizabeth by the way." Elizabeth wanted to start off being honest with the guys. If they were after just a hook up, then they should find someone else. She knew this could put her in a bad position with the guys. Saying that the deed was off the table too earlier tends to make men leave, more men than she'd like to admit. Hopefully, Gracie could jump in and try to save this conversation since it's getting awkward for Elizabeth.

Maybe Jack's opening remark wasn't the right choice for the two girls. Elizabeth almost jumped off the lead she was lounging on when Jack spoke. She must've not noticed him enter which isn't uncommon. Jack has been told he could've been a thief with how quiet he can be. Not off to a good start.

"Hey, I'm Jack. Sorry if I scared you. I should work on getting louder, I guess." He took a drink from his whiskey, trying to distract himself from this conversation. He could tell Elizabeth didn't feel comfortable around him. She seemed very sweet in a Southern, preacher's daughter kind of way. Hell, her appearance even reminded him of how people, like her Father, think angels should look. Jack would have to guess she's going to most inexperienced when it came to relationships, like how people are supposed to stay 'pure' till marriage. If she stared spouting off that his tattoos were going to damn him to hell, Jack... didn't know what he would do, but she'd become his least favorite.

Confessional

"I'm surprised a girl like her would come onto this show. She does know what tends happens here, right?"
~

Taking another swig, Jack stays seated seeing if either girl wants to continue this conversation, or if he should make his way back downstairs. It depends on Red, because Jack doesn't think he'll get any more out of Elizabeth.
