Sydney has never considered herself anything special when it comes to looks. 'A natural beauty' is what her mother always used to say, but Syd never really cared. Dark brown hair, green eyes, freckles, and a bright smile are what make her 'unique'.
Sydney has never been huge on updating her appearance, of course she values what she looks like but there are days where she could care less. She's never been huge on makeup, and has never had to worry about covering anything up since she was gifted with a rather clear face. She's always been big on going natural, when it comes to makeup.
Syd prides herself on her vintage and boho-chic style. She loves floral prints, long flowy skirts and dresses, and pastel colors. She's also a big thrifter, and has a closet full of gems, her favorite being a pair of overalls with random patches stitched all along the pocket. Sydney also just loves to dress comfortable, anything that is painful in her eyes ins't really worth it.
Sydney has her cartilage pierced on her right ear, and a small tree tattoo on her left forearm.
Sydney is naturally kind-hearted, optimistic, and good-natured, as a child she lived for the motto, 'sharing is caring'. She would never be seen without a large, goofy smile on her face that still follows her around today. She's always been rather adventurous and outgoing, seeing as how she enjoys her job out in the wild. Syd is also very passionate about everything she does, mainly her photography. You could say when she was the child, she would map out her entire life on her bedroom wall, staring out the window waiting for purpose to hit her clean in the face.
However this can carry on to her relationships as well, platonic to romantic. She will stick with someone, and try her very best to make things work no matter the circumstances. This however, caused her to get walked over, not only as a child but as a young adult. She is often said to be, 'too nice' and it is one of her major flaws. When it comes to being too kind, Sydney also has a terrible habit of falling to quickly, and too fast. It's not that she's entirely desperate to find someone, it's just when she finds someone she thinks is, 'the one' she can't help but try to fight her way to win their affection and become narrow-minded about nearly everyone else. Sydney has never been great in the relationship department, and has so many first date horror stories she couldn't count them on one finger.
Sydney loves art. An old soul, and vintage heart, Sydney loves music, reading, writing, even watching classic movies all in a binge. As a person she is quite creative and was never the 'athletic' type. Once she found her love for photography, she became engrossed in the ideas of complex and simplistic design. She tends to ramble. A lot. When she's talking about something she loves. Her mother however said that this was something she loved about her. Her eyes would light up and a warm grin would cross her face. Sydney hasn't lost any part of this side of her, if anything it's grown.
Sydney was born to a pair of environmentalists that worked on cleaning up the Chesapeake bay. They were always out protesting and advocating for a cleaner earth and Syd was right along with them. She would draw her own signs with baby fish and seals on them to bring to the protests. She has always been very outspoken and caring from a young age.
Highschool was almost a blur to her as she had a rather average school experience, it wasn't anything special. She was big on the Green Team, and held several different cleanups for her school to participate in. In high school, she took a photography class and instantly fell in love. The idea of capturing a moment in a still image was fascinating to her, especially if the image told a story. Soon after her parent's bought Syd her very own small Nikon camera. That day on her entire room was plastered with her images on the walls.
Out of high school she worked for her parents in capturing images of the oppressed wildlife and protests to post on their website. After a while an agent for National Geographic took notice of her photography and offered her a job to shoot in Baltimore for one of their Chesapeake Bay groups. She immediately agreed and moved out into her own apartment now that she was making a sizable income. He eventually began to love the mountainous terrain and fresh atmosphere eventually moving into a small cabin near a lake community. Not to mention this was something that she was passionate about.
However, there was apart of her that wished she'd have a bit of company. She'd had a camera as her companion for her entire life, but never found anyone that she clicked with. When she saw an ad for the show her parents encouraged her to go.

Sydney is looking for someone to fall in love with, someone that is kind and has a true heart of gold. Someone to sit and watch the stars with, or go camping with for the weekend. The idea of children has never been something she has thought negatively of, but she would be unsure unless it felt right.

First and foremost Sydney loves the outdoors and animals considering this is what she’s been surrounded with her since she was a child. Sydney also loves recycling, and just trying new ways to better the environment. She loves to swim, run, camp, essentially anything active. She also has her garden at home and enjoys tending to the flowers when she isn’t out doing a shoot. Probably the most important thing that Sydney loves is her camera, she treats it like a child. Even though some find them boring she loves watching documentaries. Traveling has always been one of her hobbies, and sightseeing around the globe is on her bucket list.

Sydney absolutely hates the taste of meat, she’s been strictly vegetarian since she was 10. She hates shopping from corporate stores, and adores finding local gems to purchase the things that she needs. Sydney hates people that are narcissistic and just have a negative outlook on life seeing as how she's always been rather optimistic.
