Appearance
Generally speaking, Theo is wearing clothes that pass as stylish in a 'sloppy, just thrown on' sort of look. It's lucky for him that he's in an era where that is an aesthetic, because otherwise he'd be dismissed as just another aimless person who doesn't know how to dress. Constantly cold, he's always sporting some sort of outerwear. Thrifted, oversized sweaters are a favorite of his, the more mothball holes the better because that usually means they are cheaper. Pair this with a pair of dark wash jeans and this is his go to outfit. Throw his never-tame mop of brunette/auburn hair into the mix and he looks like a kid who has just woken up christmas morning. Underneath the sweater one will either find a white T-shirt (one from a pack of ten that his mom sends him twice a year) or a thin button down shirt.

They say the pretty can pull off any look, and perhaps that's why people compliment Theo on his outfits even when they look at their most thrown together. As a child he and his twin sister Abigail were often confused for one another, and he still teases on occasion that he's the prettier one. Dark eyebrows and deep brown eyes give him the look of a puppy with particularly curly hair. He can become frustrated at times with his looks, as he worries that other guys look down on him a bit or underestimate him because he doesn't have the most masculine of features. He also claims that bartenders make a bigger deal about IDing him because he looks sort of young. Now that he has a real ID, at least he is marginally more justified in his indignant responses. He typically wears contacts, but might also be seen wearing glasses.

As a throw away remark, it is probably best to not randomly touch his hair. Your hands will likely get tangled in one knot after the next- he brushes it maybe once a month.

ImagePersonality
Theodore has always been a dreamer. He's the kid who was constantly getting in trouble at school from a young age for spacing out during class, spending more time doodling than taking notes, etc. His head is up in the clouds and it shows, with how delayed all of his responses are in conversations. You can call his name ten times before he finally snaps out of his own thoughts and responds. This sort of sluggish nature tends to make people think that he must be slow intellectually as well, and that's simply not the case. Admittedly, when it comes to science and math and the like Theo is not the first person anyone would ask to tutor them. But in literature, psychology, and all things imaginative he is brighter than he lets on. There is a reason that he has dreamed since middle school of writing scripts, after all. It doesn't have to be scripts, really, any writing draws him in. As a child he was particularly interested in TV and movies, and consumed as much media as his curfew would allow him.

His passion for all things imaginative and fictional flows easily into his somewhat gullible nature. Having spent most of his life absorbed in books and movies where good always seems to conquer evil, he is a true idealist and believes the same to be true of real life. He is slow to learn from his mistakes, especially when it comes to other people, and gives chance after chance after chance to anyone who will ask it of him. It is a far greater problem, in his eyes, to turn someone away the one time they truly need it than it would be to let them fool you every other time. Luckily very few have taken advantage of his naive nature, perhaps because he seems to attract protective friends who would fend off any would be confidence men. Theo has never seen fault in relying on others. He's not really a particularly independent person in the sense that he has no problem asking for help when he needs it, and prefers to be surrounded by people when possible. He finds humanity to be a fascinating and wonderful thing, and sees the best in everyone time and time again. Perhaps this doe-eyed quality of his is what got him his spot on the show, as it makes him easy for producers to manipulate but also a lovable person to follow as he stumbles through life.

And stumble through life he does, as Theo has very rarely been one to take initiative of his own. He follows the tide and allows himself to be carried off with it, not standing up for himself much. He expects that when something is meant to be it will simply happen, and doesn't know how to take what he wants when it is in front of him. If he were to want the same thing as a friend, nine times out of ten he'd smile and step aside so that they could take it. He'll avoid a fight wherever he can, being conflict averse. In a negative light, this could be seen as a wishy washy personality of someone unwilling to take control of their own life. He likes to think of himself as flexible. He is a person who is easy to please and optimistic, usually seen with a dreamy smile and a thoughtful look in his eyes.

ImageTheodore's father was a Brit who passed away when Theo and his twin sister, Abigail, were four years old. He had met Theo's mother, Margaret, while attending uni in America. They met at a bar, hit it off, and the rest is nothing particularly spectacular. The couple was happy and perhaps a little silly, resulting in Margaret becoming pregnant before either had graduated. They married quickly, and Margaret dropped out of school to take care of the kids. Theo's dad, Willy, finished his degree and worked in some cubical in the accounting department of a defense firm, bringing them up to Arlington, Virginia. He worked hard to provide for Margaret and the twins, but no amount of hard work can stop bad news from knocking on your door. He fell victim to a genetic condition, hypertropic cardiomyopathy. A cardiac attack took him and did so quickly, leaving the small family behind with no source of income. Theo's mother went to work to pay the bills, at first as a waitress while taking night classes that eventually earned her a certification as an ultrasound tech.

During those years when their mom was working for her certification, Theo and Abigail spent a lot of time at their grandma's in front of the TV. This was the beginning of Theo's love for the silver screen. As a kid his grandma told him everything was happening live, and they turned off the TV when all the actors went to sleep because there were no more shows to perform that day. A very large eight year old with a crooked nose told him otherwise quite rudely during recess, sending Theo crying home to ask his grandma for the truth. She then admitted that they were performing stories, like those in books, and Theo was hooked. He wanted to write stories for other children to watch on screen. He'd often write little plays that he and his sister would star in together, much to the amusement of his grandma and mom. His childhood was quite happy like that, living out his little dreams while with a loving mom and grandmother and a sister who was his best friend. Theo wouldn't trade it for the world.

Theo's high school years were not particularly remarkable, although his boyish good looks and endearingly optimistic personality did make him quite popular. He attended Virginia Commonwealth University for college on scholarship, and studied creative writing with a focus on film and television writing. Theo had a ball in college, meeting plenty of interesting new people and experiencing things he never had in high school. But he was perhaps a little too out of focus during those years, never looking as hard into internships or any sort of programs as he should have. This leaves him where he is now, graduated and unsure of what to do next. He and a friend applied to the show together as a bit of a gag, not expecting to get in due to not being particularly flashy. But Theo got the call for a follow up, and here he is now, allowing himself to be taken with the current. He believes everything happens for a reason, and is interested to see where this will lead him.

{ Seeking }
"What kind of person am I looking for? Elizabeth Darcy- no, Hermione Granger- no, Ellie! I guess those aren't real answers, huh? Well, the way I figure it, I won't know who I'm looking for until I find her. But then, without a doubt, I'll know."

Truly, Theo barely knows what it is he wants for himself, let alone in another person. But he imagines a woman who would stay up late watching movies with him, who will go to the book store and sit with him in the aisles reading passages from their favorite books to each other. She needs to be a reader, or a lover of movies and TV, those things are something that would be difficult for him to compromise on. Mostly he needs someone honest and sweet, who wouldn't take advantage of his naivete. It'd help if she herself isn't particularly naive- someone of the two needs to deal with the car salesmen, after all.

{ Strengths }
Theodore is a particularly imaginative person, which translates into resourcefulness. He is also a very sympathetic person who will try to help others however he can, even if they have slighted him in the past. Predictably, he's quite a good writer, though that doesn't seem likely to come up as helpful in these circumstances. Perhaps due to having child-like qualities, he is good with children.

{ Weaknesses }
For all his strengths, Theodore is certainly not perfect. He can come off as quite wishy washy and unwilling to make firm decisions beyond writing plotlines, which can be infuriating at times. He also is not a leader and will get very nervous if someone tries to put him in that position. His tendency to zone out also can have people repeating their sentence five times before he notices they are talking to him.

{ Fun Facts }
+ Theo has a Maine Coon kitten, currently being looked after by his sister, named Oscar.
+ Theo broke his nose skateboarding as a kid, making it just a little bit crooked

DAY 01
Paradise Island, Bahamas
Image

The sound of crushing waves can be heard in the distance as fourteen complete strangers stand before James Haynes, the host of Are You the One, with their new home behind them. This luxury villa will be their home for the next seven weeks as they go on a journey to find their perfect match. Seven men stand on the left side and seven women on the right. A few are already eyeing the opposites appraising each of them.

"Welcome everyone. You are all here for one thing, because you all have one thing in common: you suck at relationships." A few people laugh nervously, some shrug more or less agreeing, and others grit their teeth awkwardly. "Each one of you has been put through an extensive matchmaking process, using psychologists, compatibility tests, professional matchmakers, and information from your friends, families, and exes. Through this, we've been able to find an ideal match for each of you."

"Take a look at those across from you. One of them is your perfect match and it's up to you to find out who it is. You will have seven chances to pair up and find those seven, perfect matches. If you can do that, you'll leave the island with love and one more thing..." He pauses for dramatic effect, the contestants stare at him excitedly, "You will split the largest cash prize ever offered in MTV History. ONE MILLION DOLLARS!" The group cheers, pleased by this news. "Good luck!"

After finishing the show introduction, everyone moved inside the house. The sky was slowly moving into dusk so it was time to get the intros out of the way. Daniel lead the way, taking on the role of pack leader like he does with most things. While the house was gorgeous and he definitely appreciated it, he was more drawn to the bar hidden behind the staircase leading upstairs. 'Finally, my area of expertise.' He found an unopened bottle of champagne with fourteen glasses. He preferred something a lot stronger, but he can make do with this for now. "I found the alcohol everybody! Let's get this party started!" He began to pour drinks to anyone who held their glass out. He made his signature flirty eyes to a few of the girls before serving everyone.

Daniel raised his glass, "May we all find love or at least a good time! I look forward to getting to know all of you and I can't wait to find my match among these beautiful ladies. To being rich in love and rich with love." Daniel took a drink, finishing his toast. He ended up drinking the whole thing at once. A glass of champagne wouldn't have any effect on him so chugging the thing wouldn't hurt him.

~
Confessional
"I was laying it on thick when I gave that toast. I'm here to win the money. The girls in this house better not pull the whole, " He pauses, making his voice high pitched and valley girl sounding, "I like him, but he's not my match' thing, because I'm not losing 70K just because you felt something for the wrong person. If I find an awesome girl, great, but I won't have a hopeless romantic ruining this for me... God, I feel bad for the girl you've paired with me."
~

The toasting having ended, introductions among the contestants began. Daniel was right in the middle of it. Did he go over to the cute blonde he saw earlier? Or red hair? He could go to one of the three brunette girls or the two black haired ones. He decided on one of the brunettes. He thought he heard her name started with K. She was easily one of the hottest girls in the house and had the 'Head Bitch in Charge' look about her. He liked the difficult ones. They were the hardest to win over and most likely his type. Assholes tend to go with the bitchy girls so why not start there?

Daniel approached her, going straight for the hug. It was appropriate considering what this show was about and it didn't hurt to have some physical contact. "Hey! How ya doin'? I'm Daniel."

Tony Rogers
{27~#006400~Colorado Springs, CO~Here}
Tony had been to many places, but never to a tropical location. It was certainly a big departure from Colorado. He had lived in Florida, but that was the Panhandle, not like Miami and if he was being honest with himself, he did prefer cooler weather and higher altitudes. Still he learned to adapted to new situations so he was pretty sure he would manage here. He did need to buy new closes though and his mother and one of his sisters helped him out in that area since he wasn't a fan of the activity. The place they were staying out was definitely fancy. His parents had their dream home now, but even it wasn't this big since his mother did not want to clean a big place. If by some chance he did win money at the end of this, he made a promise to himself to send his parents on a nice cruise. He did discuss it with his siblings and all were on board with the idea. If not, they already decided they would just do it anyway, but it would take longer.

Tony's mind was diverted to the present when their host talked about the game and it was then Tony started looking at the women. First one that did catch his eye was the blonde, but not not wanting to be rude he only glanced at her briefly before glancing at the other ladies. All of them were lovely, but this didn't surprise him. His mother watched these kinds of shows and he learned good-looking people always made it onto these shows. He didn't appreciate the host's comment about sucking at relationships. He knew he was good at relationships, he had been married and very dedicated to his late wife Emily. Thinking about her now still brought about some sadness, but he knew that his late wife would want him to be happy and he did want a family too, so he figured it wouldn't hurt to try this.

Confessional
"I honestly don't know what to expect in this kind of situation. I plan to take it as I go. Quick shout out to my family though, thanks for everything."

Once the host left, one of the guys took charge with passing out the drinks. Having seen the guys before the girls, Tony knew already this would be one of the 'party guys' and would have an extra eye on him. He himself wasn't a fan of wine, so grabbed a beer instead. Soon, one other guy joined him, one that Tony liked already.

"Who are you going after?"

"Well, the blonde initially caught my eye, but I plan on finding out more about these ladies before deciding who I am spending time with more."

He honestly didn't know what to do next though. This was a unique situation and he felt like a fish out of water at the moment.

Theo Davies
{ 22 || #800000 || Arlington, VA || Here }

For someone who doesn't really fancy drinking, this first night is quickly turning into a daunting prospect. But of course, Theo is used to being around drunk people whilst sober. He'll drink a little bit now and again, certainly, but far prefers to smoke or something like that for a good time. This being television, however, Theo isn't sure how easy it would be for him to find an alternative. So he hangs back a bit as the group begins to loosen up and interact, watching everyone with great interest. He figures that remaining sober will make observation of everyone more fun. It's already become apparent that the producers of this show have brought together a fairly lively group of people, which is to be expected. Theo's genuinely excited to meet everyone, but feels just a little nervous about approaching people right now. Everyone seems nice, of course, but he'd prefer his first impressions of everyone be the next morning. He doesn't want to space out or say the wrong thing to someone made extra sensitive by their drinks, and start off the next several weeks on the wrong foot.

---
Confession Booth
"Obviously I don't mind other people drinking, I just don't like it much myself. You don't think they'll think I'm being prudish, do you? Maybe I should have pretended to be ill. Rats."
---

Theo heads over to the bar, as though about to change his mind and grab a drink, but instead only goes for a can of cherry coke. If nothing else, there is some feeling of security in having this in his hand. Maybe if someone seems to think he's weird for not drinking, he'll claim to be on antibiotics. Theo hangs back on the bar, still watching everyone. He gets the impression his time meeting everyone will not start until tomorrow, as approaching people is something he's always had difficulty with. He's always been accustomed to people approaching him, or getting to be friends with people through classes or clubs or other people. Just straight up walking up to another person, however, is hardly the young man's forte. Already he is sort of zoning out, wondering about all of the people and making up little stories to fill in the gaps of the information that he already has about other people.

Theo takes a sip of his soda, half lost in thought and half hoping someone will come up and talk to him.

Franky Gamal
{ Twenty-Five || #008080 || Orlando, FL || HERE }

After the two girls take their shots, Franky bites down hard on her lime. She grins with the lime in her mouth, making a goofy bright green smile. It's the sort of things kids do with oranges around the lunchroom table in elementary school, but Franky is still making the same silly jokes. A citrus smile? That's just a classic. Franky's eyes widen with surprise when Gwyn grabs her arm and leads her across the room, but as soon as she figures out what is going on the girl's grin -sans lime- returns in full force. She winks at Gwyn, "Isn't that exactly what we're here to do? Fraternize? As far as I'm concerned, the only enemy here is boredom. And maybe you, if you hog the blankets tonight. That's me presenting my heart to you by the way- would you do me the honor of sharing covers tonight? Till morning do we part?"

Franky's hand is on her heart, and if she had brought a few more shots she'd be presenting it to Gwyn like a ring. For the moment, however, pantomiming a proposal with her hands will have to do. She pops back up to her feet to stand straight up when she notices Josh walking over, drinks in hand. She wastes no time taking the tequila sunrise out of his offering hand, "You come bearing gifts? And me, without my handkerchief to give you as a token of my gratitude."

Franky clinks her glasses against those of the other two people, without waiting for them to actually move their glasses from her, and takes a long drink from the tequila sunrise. It's turned out quite good, her compliments to the bartender.

As she finishes her drink, another guy approaches the group to give them nice, even numbers. Her first thought looking at Jake is that she really needs to get herself a leather jacket like his, because it is a really smart fit. When he introduces himself as a drama student and a soon to be Broadway actor, the pieces certainly fall together. She wonders if he got the jacket from a costume shop. Franky wonders further if it is one that she could somehow break into and raid for her own personal closet.

"Well, cheers to our Broadway baby, eh? It's been a long time since I've been in a class that made you introduce yourselves- they don't tend to push us lowly engineers to crawl out from underneath our rocks too often," the joke risks falling flat, a callback to her college days when she and her friends spent 30% of their time drinking, 40% of their time mocking other engineering majors, 15% sleeping, 10% avoiding work by eating, and 5% actually in class or working on class stuff.

"But I'll give it a whirl. My name is Farrah, no she isn't my main, you can call me Franky. I'm a drinker with a software development problem and I'll crush any of you at bowling any day of the week."

---
Confession Booth
"Okay yeah, that was more than one fact. But what can I say? I'm a cool person, there's a lot to know. Plus, I've worked hard for my perfect loft. Bowling throw, not an apartment. That too though."
---

XXXXXXXXElizabeth Sawyer
{ Twenty-Four | #259ADF | Dallas, Texas | HERE }

Elizabeth couldn't keep the smile off of her face as she sat through the open ceremony for the show. Getting on this show was a one in a million chance and she couldn't help her excitement at being one of the few chosen. The remark about being terrible at relationships was true for her so she couldn't help an awkward laugh. She hasn't had a ton of luck in the dating department so hopefully her luck will change now.

After finishing remarks, Elizabeth followed everyone to house and immediately was greeted with a glass of champagne. She was used to such things after dance performances so having a glass wouldn't hurt. However, she wasn't planning on getting drunk. Every speech her father gave her about alcohol and boys came to mind plus the fact that her actions would be seen on TV played a role in her choice too.

The guy giving the toast was one of the several guys that caught her eye during opening remarks. His speech was super cheesy, but she thought it was cute in a cheesy way. She took a drink from her glass, moving closer to Gracie. She was one of the girls she felt an instant connection with despite only meeting for the first time earlier today. Elizabeth knew she was at a bit of disadvantage coming into the house. She was the friend type more than the romantic kind so she felt she need to up her 'game' if she wanted any of the guys to notice her. Having a friend to sympathize and spill these doubts to would be necessary if she was going to survive.

It seemed like it was time to socialize with everyone. People were already partnering up and Elizabeth felt awkward about whole situation. Going up and talking to someone? Piece of cake. Going up and flirting with someone? A disaster waiting to happen. A few guys were still by themselves, but Elizabeth wasn't feeling up to that just yet. She definitely wanted to talk to the cutie pie with the curly brown hair and the All American boy, currently sitting by himself when his friend left. When Gracie mentioned exploring, it sounded like a better option than trying to talk to the guys themselves plus it could be an opener for the guys to approach them.

"We have to explore!" She grabbed Gracie's hand before practically dragging her upstairs. "We need the best bed before the others get taken." The sight of all the seven full sized beds brought an uncomfortable chuckle. She guessed they would try to get everyone to share a bed, but the fact that all seven of them were almost touch each other, it was more of a giant matress.
~
Confessional
"I get that they want all of us to be as close as possible, but I'd rather not roll over and be in bed with a different person. Hopefully, whoever is next to Gracie and I won't get those kind of ideas. I'm a hug cuddler, but not with strangers."
~
Feeling the need to share this newfound area, Elizabeth felt the need to share. Calling out from the top of the staircase, "Check out the bedroom!" Hopefully, one of the guys from earlier would follow them up.

XXXXXXXXXXXXJack Armstrong
{ Twenty-Six | #bd0808 | New Orleans, Louisiana | HERE }

Jack couldn't believe the mess he's gotten himself into. He despised TV shows like this one. The likelihood of him and this 'perfect match' ending up together was less than likely. Hell, nearly half only end up hooking up and then being 'friends.' Yes, he is being cynical and he was also trying to hide how uncomfortable he was. Jack wasn't the outgoing type this show looks for and he is as awkward as he is quiet. He felt like the host was talking directly at him when saying they all sucked at relationships. Jack's past relations didn't end on the best terms so he'd be surprised if any of these girls gave him the time of day.

Champagne was being served, followed by a mediocre at best toast. Daniel, he made a point of remembering all of the guys' names, reminded him of every jock he met in high school: cocky, full of himself, and an attention seeker. The guy was irritating, but Jack wasn't going to do anything about it unless Daniel pissed him off. It was too early to tell, but Jack could tell this guy is going to be the asshole of the house.

Needing something stronger than champagne, Jack got to work making himself a whiskey neat at the bar. He's been told he's more outgoing when he is intoxicated, but starting the night off drunk wouldn't do. '"Don't do anything stupid, Armstrong." He mutters to himself as he takes a drink, leaning on the staircase.

He guessed now was the time to talk to talk to the girls in the house. He saw a few girls he'd like to get to know. The pretty girl in the black dress was in a group with another girl and Jake and Josh. Jack wasn't the type to try and join a group he wasn't close with. He saw a few people he would've liked to have a chat with, but when he heard someone talking about the bedroom, Jack thought that sounded better than trying to approach someone.

He made his way upstairs, surveying every inch of the house. It was a nice vacation home for the time so he was happy about that. Two girls stood upstairs, the blonde and the redhead. The blonde was the stereotypical American beauty while the redhead was more the cute, quirky girl. They looked to be nice, but appearances can be deceiving. Jack himself is a prime example. He took a seat on one of the beds, claiming it as his own and whoever wanted to join him. Jack wasn't picky. Taking a breathe and forcing something out of his mouth so he wouldn't sit there in brooding silence like he usually does. "I guess they want us up close and personal."

#9F7C84 - attire
Oddly enough, Katherine did not feel out of place. She could tell that most of the other girls had been fairly nervous about meeting the men of the show but for Kat, she couldn’t have felt better. Not to mention she was getting a little bored of just talking to the others girls, although there were quite a few that she found actually interesting. Franky, for one. Badass and beautiful the two had easily fallen into a rather flirtatious friendship. Katherine knew that the show was rather heteronormal, but she was here to have fun right? No matter the party.

The first man that caught her eye was none other than the one making the toast. "May we all find love or at least a good time! I look forward to getting to know all of you and I can't wait to find my match among these beautiful ladies. To being rich in love and rich with love.” If she wasn’t trying to hold herself back she would’ve snorted in laughter, whoever he was she could tell he was full of shit. She knew because she was exactly the same. Katherine could not deny to herself, how attractive he was, she’d have to get to know him quite well.

Fortunately for her, he had decided the exact same thing.

Confession Booth:
“Would you look at that? I didn't even have to try. This might be easier than I thought.”

He took rather confident strides in her direction, and she locked eyes with him. There was nothing Katherine hated more than not being confident when it came to relationships. He instantly went in for a hug, which she returned, noticing the rather intoxicating scent of his cologne. ”Hey! How ya doin'? I'm Daniel.” Daniel. It suited him. She looked at him through her thick lashes, putting on a rather flirty smirk, after all what would be the point of the show if she didn’t at least try. ”Katherine. You can call me Kat, if you’d like.”
She grabbed a champagne flute off the table for herself, taking a rather careful sip. ”I’ll be better in about five minutes” She raised the flute slightly with a small wink. ”What about yourself? See anything that’s caught your eye yet?” She cocked her head slightly to the right, the right side of her lip tugging up in a smirk. She loved teasing men, sometimes it was funny watching them squirm under her gaze. With Daniel however, she felt it would be quite different, which intrigued her. She had met many men like him in the past, arrognat, flirty, confident, they were often the easiest to talk to, but the hardest to keep. She’d just have to see.

Sydney was a little nervous. It wasn’t everyday that your love life was broadcast blatantly on television. However, she refused to let herself get bogged down by the thought, after all it was first impressions and she planned on making a rather good one. The man making the toast, caught her eye slightly, he definitely was attractive, but she had to remind herself that she couldn’t just force herself to attach to someone head on and fall head first. After all, this is exactly why she decided to join the show in the first place, to challenge herself.

Everyone instantly seemed to know where to go and who to talk to, Syd did not. She felt rather lost as all of the other girls that she had befriended ventured off to meet the boys. She bounced slightly on her heels for a moment, taking a deep breath. She never had a problem to talking to people, let alone make friends, so she didn’t know why she was so nervous.

Confession Booth:
“This is already going worse than I thought.
Who knew putting yourself out there was so hard -”

After a moment she noticed a younger man sitting at the bar by himself, drinking a cherry coke. She thought it was odd that he seemed to be the only one not indulging in the alcohol, which intrigued her even more. She took a deep breath, before pushing off in the direction of the bar, clearing her throat slightly. God, she was terribly awkward. ”Hi, is this seat taken?”
She gestured towards the, obviously empty, barstool next to him. ”I’m Sydney”. This was going to be harder than she thought.

By this point, Theo has completely zoned out and isn't even really looking at the other people anymore. He takes sips of his soda as if on autopilot, giving the image of a man who is at least half present this evening despite his mind being lightyears away from his physical location. He's made up a small back story for one of the girls, the one with blond hair, picturing her as a girl raised on a ranch who was in love with some heartbreaker she met in high school. The guy broke it off when they went to college, but unknowingly they went to universities in the same town. They kept bumping into each other around town, but he was always with some girl or another and would make strange, condescending remarks to the blondie about her just being some small-town girl with no culture. Hurt, blondie became determined to see the world and better herself without worrying about some jerk from high school. She had since become a nurse that works at different clinics in impoverished areas, and has been too busy for matters of the heart. Until recently, when her grandpa (whom she calls Grandpap) fell ill. With not much time left, his final wish is to see his only granddaughter happy and married to someone who will join her in helping save the world. With this in mind, she-

"Hi, is this seat taken?" Theo is pulled out of his daydream by a slightly wavering voice, soft and warm, asking if she can sit next to him. Instantly his expression goes from distant to bright and cheerful, as he's happy to have anybody talking to him at all. Everyone else seems to have found clusters and pairs so naturally, that he had become anxious about whether or not coming on this show was a mistake. But looking at the girl next to him, who has the sort of green eyes that are simultaneously warm and exciting, he feels strangely at ease. Perhaps this trip will go well after all. With all of these thoughts, Theo completely forgets to respond. Completely his fault, there is a heavy pause of silence between the two. He blinks back to real time, and smiles with the sort of sincere cheer that is normally reserved for children.

"I'm Theo! Oh, uh, err, yes- I mean no, no this seat is not taken. Well it is now, I suppose, by you!" he falls silent himself again, suddenly remembering how awkward he can be around new people. He's been lucky so far that his friend have found the awkwardness endearing, something probably helped out by his pretty looks, but who knows whether this crowd will be so forgiving. He sticks out his hand to shake hers, way too formal, and in doing so accidentally knocks over his coke, spilling it all over her. Just to prove that the world is not fair, not a single drop landed on Theo. Only Sydney, completely faultless, is drenched.

"Oh, yikes, I am so sorry, um, here, let me," Theo finds some napkins and starts desperately patting her skirt with them before realizing he has absolutely just forced his way into her private. He pushes himself back, blushing like mad. If he'd remembered that he's being filmed doing this, his face would probably be the color of a tomato right now.

Confession Booth
"Are they able to revoke your match and give it to someone else? You don't think I'm going to get kicked off, do you? God, I really hope she doesn't turn out to be my match because she probably thinks I'm the biggest idiot in the world."

I can go ask if they have wet wipes? I am so sorry, I hope I haven't just gone and ruined your night, I'm such a klutz," he's still clearly frantic, but his voice has lowered as he tries to avoid having other people the scene he's just made.
