"Fire washes the skin off the bone and the sin off the soul. It cleans away the dirt. And my momma didn't raise herself no dirty boy."
Basic Personality: A mad scientist, a psychopath, and a pyromaniac all mixed into one form. Daveon is renowned for his skill with mechanical equipment and unsatisfying need to set things on fire. His familiarity with military equipment and fascination with fire extends to a degree where he was able to redesign his standard issue Zone combat armor into the firebleaching Firebug variant just "for the 'ell of it".
Notes His accent and mannerism isn't Afralia in origin, and it's widely speculated that Daveon is a criminal refugee from another county.
He also appears to be deeply rooted in the Orthodox Christian faith, as he often spews lines of 'cleansing fire' and long prayers of faith in the middle of combat.
Intelligence level: High.
Mental state: Pyromaniac, Psychopath.
Demeanor: Unlike most Pyromanics, Daveon is extremely calm and level headed in almost any situation. This calmness extends to a chilling degree, and it has been reported that Daveon often engages in casual conversation with the thing he lights on fire.
Combat specialization: Close quarters combat, bunker busting.
Alignment: Chaotic neutral
A chaotic neutral character follows his whims. He is an individualist first and last. He values his own liberty but doesn't strive to protect others' freedom. He avoids authority, resents restrictions, and challenges traditions. A chaotic neutral character does not intentionally disrupt organizations as part of a campaign of anarchy. To do so, he would have to be motivated either by good (and a desire to liberate others) or evil (and a desire to make those different from himself suffer). A chaotic neutral character may be unpredictable, but his behavior is not totally random. He is not as likely to jump off a bridge as to cross it.
Armor: 'Firebug' Zone armor variant.
Armor Accessories (attachments, customizations, armor abilities, etc.): Following his personal doctrine of 'needs more burn' Daveon had taken it upon himself in modifying his personal 'Zone' combat armor into something that suits his specialized tastes. The end result was a powered armored platform that bore little to no resemblance towards the original Zone combat suit, and includes a wide variety of features.
Changes to Armor: Heavier, more durable and far more heat resistant than than its counterpart models, the Firebug variant provides additional protection from high caliber and heat based weaponry that are often employed in defending fortified bunkers and combat installations.
Subsystems: Possessing the same features as the original Zone model (jet systems, targeting software, ect ect.) the Firebug also features special systems that regulate the use of the armor's primary flamethrowers. As well as offering protecting from the extreme heat that the firebug often produces (coolant systems, specialized padding, ect ect.)
Weaponry:
"Four Barrels of Hell" :The only permanent offensive ordinance the Firebug variant is equipped with is a pair of massive double barreled flamethrowers, one attached to each arm. These military grade flamethrowers allow the Firebug variant to channel the suit's fuel through four multiple ports. This results in an extremely short yet extremely wide area of flame that literally surrounds the front of the Firebug in a wall of flame.
There are two firing modes for the flamethrowers;
Default - A simple stream of fire, remains active as long as there is fuel in the tank.
Plasma rounds - Each of the four barrels is capable of charging and firing a ball of super heated plasma gathered from secondary plasma tanks. These plasma rounds can be fired in rapid succession and have a fair decent range, allowing the firebug to engage targets outside of it's normal range.
Hellfire rockets: If required, the Firebug can substitute a great deal of it's frontal armor to make room for the installation of a pair of Hellfire rocket ports. Each port is capable of holding, arming, and firing, a grand total of 500 fast moving Hellfire 'antibunker' rockets in rapid succession, thus allowing the armor to literally become a walking artillery piece.
The rockets come in three forms.
High Explosive - General all purpose ordinance, effective against most unit types.
Anti-Suit - Plasma tipped ordinance, extremely effective against armored units and fortified positions.
Doc's special - A hellish makeshift combination of plasma, explosive, and napalm loaded ordinance. Anything not killed by these rockets will definitely beg for a quick death when the cleanup crew comes around. [
