Description: Rose has waist-long red hair, most often woorn loose, but tied back in a braid when she's working out, doing something messy, or just doing something that requires a lot of work. On a normal day, she wears a pair of dark blue jeans and a dark blue long sleeve shirt, both normally tight, and the shirt a low-cut, with a design of flowers and vines going down her left side, along with a pair of black low heels. When working out, though, she wears a pair of short jean shorts and a low-cut black tank top, with a pair of tennis shoes. Her eyes are a black, and her skin is rather pale. She is tall and slim, but that doesn't mean she doesn't have curves.

Personality

Rose isn't exactly overly talkative towaqrds people she doesn't know, but will readily open up to new people if they seem friendly enough. She's active and energetic, but only when she's not doing homework, or reading a good book. While she likes boasting about her speed on foot, she's very intelligent, and knows her stuff. While it's safe to say she's more of an animal-person than a people-person, she is rather family-oriented; even if she's upset with them, when worst comes to worse, she's there to help where she can. She's careful about her money, and tries to teach Gracie to do the same thing.

Likes: dark colors, animals, being inside, occasionally playing video games, music, singing

Dislikes: playing games for too long, too much noise, strangers, large crowds, silence

Sexuality: Straight

Song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7i6i2AndvTI

Equipment

During her school hours, she only carries around her bookbag, often filled with school books, and also containing her laptop, the charging cord, and her wallet. Otherwise, she usually only has her purse with her wallet, her phone in her pocket, and often her laptop nearby, sometimes in her arms. On occasion, she will have a school book with her, for extra reading.

History

She is Gracie's older sister, and grew up, for the most part, locked up in her own bedroom, unless she was playing with Gracie. She was disapproving when Gracie was recruited; after all, who recruits someone who's only ten years old? Sure, it added to the surprise, but really? But she was her sister, and so she kept her opinions to herself, even though their parents were rather vocal about it. As soon as she got out of high school, she left for college, and didn't have much contact with them. She was far too busy with schoolwork and her part-time job, which she uses to sustain herself. She has learned to be careful with her money, only spending it when it's necessary. She doesn't even buy games or books for fun with her money; it's strictly used for food, anything she needs for classes, presents for friends and family on birthdays, and anything she needs to take care of her fish, which are currently being watching by a friend of hers while she visits her family. Because of this, she has plenty of money saved up for just in case purposes.

When their parents told her they were moving, and freeing Gracie from her job, she hurried over to visit. She hadn't talked to any of them in a while, and figured it would be a good place to start up again. Besides, she figured they would need help moving and settling in to their new house. Currently, she's considering getting a large dog to train to keep Gracie in line...

So begins...

Rosalinda paused, hearing her name being mentioned. She had kept herself from coming out from behind the corner as she listened to the familiar conversation. She shook her head, but walked into the room, her normal, cheerful smile on her face. If anything, hiding her irritation was something she was good at. "Miss Perfect? Who says?" she asked, sitting across from Gracie. Personally, she thought their parents were right; how was she to know if her kills really were for the greater good? What if they lied in telling her her missions? She leaned forward, elbows on the table. "I'm only smart, not trained in anything other than intelligence. Nothing good for what you did, anyway."

She stood back up, pouring herself a glass of milk before sitting back down again. "Anyway, Mom is right about something; drinking coffee at your age will make you short. Don't you need to be able to see over obstacles?" She doubted their parents found this to be appropriate conversation, and tat was confirmed by their disapproving faces. Really, she didn't much feel like it herself. But she and Gracie had gotten along so well when they were younger! Rosalinda wanted that back, and would work at it, even if that included offering bits of advice that their parents didn't approve of.

"By the way, I've gotten pretty good about sneaking around myself; I would check your bag when you have the time." Part of being close to her sister again was buying little gifts; things like the bracelet she had slipped into a smaller pocket of her sisters bag. It wasn't anything flashy, really, it only had a charm saying lil' sis, and another shaped as a knife, but also another that was a stuffed bear. She wasn't sure she would like it, but she had a similary one herself, but with a charm that said big sis instead, and one shaped like a wolf; the tird was a stuffed bear, like her sisters. She oped it would at least let her know that she was trying to be her sister, and not overbearing like their parents. Who knew? Maybe they would find something to talk about later on.

She changed the subject abruptly. "I'll make sure she gets to school. I had wanted to look at a clothing store near the school, anyway; I'll drop her off on the way. That's if you don't mind, Grace." She tried so hard to be lax about her sister being an assassin, instead treating her like she skipped classes often instead of running off to kill people, that she often thought it might actually be easy to get along with her. That, she had to be careful of; she always had a way of getting herself into little messes with people by doing things like that.

Gracie paused, pulling out her wallet as she saw the money in her hands. She closed her eyes instead of shooting her sister a glare. What if she hadn't told her about that? If she hadn't given it back? She was careful with her money, and the only money she kept in her purse was for emergencies only. She gave an exasperated sigh after Gracie had left the room, then turned to the stairs, calling after her, "You didn't answer my question; ride to school or not?" As she did, she got up, heading towards her sister's room. She didn't open the door, pausing, about to knock instead, until she heard her sister's voice. Something didn't seem right; all she heard was that she'd see somebody then.

After a moment of debating, she knocked on the door; she'd pretend she hadn't heard anything, that was all. She was no good at snooping without leaving obvious evidence that she had been there, so she'd keep her nose out of it for now. "Gracie? I was only wondering..you spend so much time shut away in that room...and we haven't had much time to hang out, you know? I was thinking...maybe shopping after school? Or even a walk through a park, or something?" She kept her voice low enough that their parents couldn't hear. She didn't need them to remind her to cal or text her to let them know that Gracie was still in her sight. Was she supposed to take her to the bathroom now, too? The girl didn't need constant attention...just someone that might be able to understand, or even help if she needed it. Not a babysitter. Maybe some time to talk would help?

Rosalinda froze, then expression hardened briefly into a glare at the door. She wiped the glare off her face, then leaned forward, ear to the door, listening carefully. Sibling therapy? Their parent's idea? She had been the only one that didn't want to force Gracie to stay away from her job; had even thought about trying to help her out for a while. And she assumed, after all that, that she was helping their parents? Now she was in trouble. She heard the window open, and let out a quiet sigh. Of course she would. "Who said I was telling you to change?" she asked, though she knew she was probably gone by then. She waited another minute before opening the door, and glanced around her sister's room for a few minutes.

She bit her lip before moving around, exploring her room. She didn't like looking through her sisters room; who knew what she would find? But she was going to make her sister listen to her. She was going to find her sisters weapons, and hide them somewhere else; she wasn't quite sure where yet, but she would find a good hiding place. And then...what else could she do? Perhaps...wait outside the school later on. Wait for her to leave the school building and then follow, walk along, try to get her to talk. If not, she would still have the weapons hidden, and she would find out sooner or later. She hated doing this, but how else was she to make her sister understand what she was trying to say? She paused, remembering her saing something about a closet full of weapons, and looked to the closet door. An expression, or were they really in there? Only one way to find out. "Sorry, Gracie...but making assumptions makes an ass out of you...and I don't like that..."

Rosalinda sighed; with all the weapons hidden, she could finally get Gracie to talk to her properly. She sighed before heading to her computer; while she was away from the school, she had told herself she would instead be taking her classes online, for however long it would take for her and Gracie to finally get along. She didn't really want much...just a chance to talk with her, to make sure she knew she was trying to support her; why else would she put a knife on her the chain bracelet she had slipped into her sisters bag? She logged onto her computer and started looking through the work she had to get done. Nothing much; at least, nothing that she couldn't do within a few hours. She glanced up at a clock, winced slightly, then hurried to start her schoolwork.

If she wanted to be there by the time Gracie got out of school, she'd have to finish everything within a few hours. She was sure she could manage that, if she really worked at it, without breaks unless necessary. She paused, mentally telling herself to relax; she'd never get anything done if she was so worked up. Finally, she went into one of the quizes, failry early, and grinned slightly as she read through the first question, asking the difference between ectothermic and endothermic. Perhaps it wouldn't take so long, after all.

Rosalinda looked up from her computer as she heard Gracie's voice. So she was finally home, then. She sighed and pushed herseld away from the computer. She had had plenty of time to hide her sister's weapons, and knew that she hadn't seen any of her best hiding places yet. She listened carefully as she heard her sister go up the stairs, and then into the bathroom. As soon as she heard the shower water running, she shook her head and stood up, stretching. She hated sitting still for that long. Besides, she was anxious to get this over with. She knew Gracie could be stubborn, but surely she could listen to reason?

She sat on her bed instead, and made sure she was facing the door. Their parents hadn't bothered to take her weapons from her, so of course she would expect her sister instead. She would just have to sit and wait until she showed herself, looking for them.

Rosalinda only smiled at her sister, waiting for her to figure out what she was doing there. But she froze as she turned to her computer after she realized what she had done. Those weren't her good weapons? She watched her sister entering passwords into her computer, opening a safe, and pulling out another weapon. Why couldn't anything go the way she wanted to? She watched silently as she left the house, mumbling about having to be somewhere soon. Her story about the shooting range was a load of crap, she knew. She bit her lip; her sister was back in business, just like their parents didn't want. It was easy enough to figure out, especially since she was acting more animal than human in keeping herself bottled up.

She stood up, wiping away a few tears she hadn't realized were there. She was going to have to try something else, was all. She stomped back to her room, finding the stash of weapons she had hidden from Gracie. She hated weapons, she hated the idea of fighting, she couldn't stand the thought of what she was going to do...but she would, anyway. She pulled out one of the pistols, unsure of it's power and barely knowing how to use it, and a couple of the knives. She changed out of the clothes she had been in all day, from pajamas to a pair of tight jeans and a low-cut shirt and, just in case, the belt she had been taught to carry around when dealing with animals; mostly it was empty except for the gerber multitool. She use the slots for the safety straps to attach the knives and pistol. Even wearing the weapons made her uneasy. Hell, even wearing a black shirt made her uneasy. She tied her hair back into a braid, glad that she had seen, at least, the general direction her sister had gone in. She made sure to tie a sweatshirt around her waist before she even thought about leaving the house, hiding her gerber, and her sister's pistol and knives.

She wasn't sure, though, that she could use the weapons, even to defend herself. Now, if she had to defend her sister, that was anothing thing entirely. But she was going to try to get used to it. If that was what it took to get her sister to listen, to get a chance to get to know her sister all over again, she would. She stopped long enough to tell her parents that she had a date with a friend, then left. If anything, she was good at hiding her anxiety when necessary. She went to her car, figuring she'd be much faster that way. She headed off the way her sister had gone, being careful to examine every person she passed by to see if she could find her sister. She was confident she'd find her this way, since the care wouldn't get tired and stop until it needed gas, and it wa pretty full at that point, fortunately. "Now...where did you go, Gracie..."

Rosalinda slammed on her brakes as she heard gunshots. Where else was a good place to find her sister? She parked it on the curb, making a mental note of where it was, and started walking. The headlights might warn them that someone was coming, and she wasn't about to scare them off. She moved a hand down to touch one of the knives through the sweatshirt, and silentl scolded herself; the sweatshirt made it harder to reach them if necessary, even if they did hide them rather well. She paused to pull one out and inched closer to where she thought she had heard the gunfire coming from.

She froze as she heard someone else calling out not to shoot; it sounded like a female, too. she held her breath and poked her head into a building. Now, perhaps she was desperate in finding her sister, but she should have known better than to call out herself. "Hello? Little sister? Anyone?" She realized a second too late that it had probably attracted more than just her sister's attention to call out like that and covered her mouth, pressing herself against a wall and hoping to avoid detection. What a mess! She wasn't anywhere near used to this sort of situation.

And her parents! What would they think if they knew what she was doing; what she had just done? She had prided herself on being intelligent sometimes, but that didn't necessarily mean she had enough common sense to keep herself from being noticed in a building where she couldn't see anyone. She could only hope that whoever had been really threatening was already dead, or had fled. Hopefully. Well, the damage was already done; what could she do to make things any worse?

"Come on, now...I know someone's here..."
