"My sister is out there, and I will find her! And nothing will stop me!" -Konrad
Intelligence: Konrad's logic is of a high tier. He is a high-school drop out, partially from delinquency but mostly because he found school un-engaging. Most of his knowledge is self-taught via books and the internet. All in all he is more intelligient than the average Joe.
Sense of humor: Konrad has a low sense of humor. His past combined with his dizzying logic make it hard for him to take jokes.
Konrad's demeanor is dark and angry. He doesn't take crap from people and generally resents everything and everyone. He is mistrustful of most people and the only real person he cares for is his sister.
Konrad carries with him only the clothes on his back, a switchblade, a backpack for holding things, and the scissors.
Goals: Find his sister and bring her back.
Occupation: Independent
Konrad's father was a heavy alcoholic and prone to abuse after his regular binge drinking. His mother was timid, kind, loving, and generally cared for Konrad and his sister Vivian. She was one of the only things that could calm Konrad's father down when he was being aggressive. Konrad's mother died of pancreatic cancer when he was eight, at that time his sister was ten. Overcome with grief, Konrad's father turned to further drinking and instant gratifications that are detrimental to the body and the spirit. His abusive sessions came more frequently and with less restraint. Konrad and Vivian grew more and more together during this time, supporting each other and sticking together in the absence of their mother. Konrad's father committed suicide when he was 17. He and his sister dropped out of school to care for each other and they turned to the streets. They became street urchins and were involved in several gangs, leaving most of them before things got too ugly but they always stuck together. Vivian Haelick and Konrad stumbled upon the objects on accident. In a freelance mission Vivian and Konrad were told to steal some keys, ring and scissors from someone. When they bullied the man he fought back, he incapacitated Konrad and locked Vivian in the room. Konrad watched as the man reset the room with his sister inside it. In a fit of vengeful-induced rage he strangled the man to unconsciousness and took the keys and scissors from him, forgetting the ring. Filled with grief and loathing for those who had sent him on this commission he did not return. So the cultists who had sent him and his sister returned and attempted to steal the objects back from him. He lost the keys during the scuffle but managed to flee with the scissors. Konrad Haelick now seeks to understand more about the object and their origins and find a way to get his sister back. He has resolved to do so at any cost, he will find his sister or die trying.
