Likes:
+ Dancing (Although, she's still learning how it works).
+ Walking/Running.
+ Forks.
+ Eric.
+ Adventure.
+ Collecting things.
+ Learning.
+ The sun.
+ Singing.

Dislikes:
- Being misunderstood.
- Feeling trapped.
- Not being able to use her voice.
- Liars.
- Eels.
- Snakes. "I hear they're something like eels.. but on land?"
- Not having her questions answered.
- Fishing/Floundering. "Nets, fishing poles, or spears... It's just.. It's terrible."
- Seafood of any kind.

Strengths:
Thanks to Ursala, Ariel has the ability and gift to shift between mermaid and human. This is, no doubt, one of Ariel's key strengths. Because she is a mermaid, she is naturally gifted with super human strength and endurance while in her mermaid form. Also in her mermaid form she is gifted with underwater breathing and speed swimming (thanks to her tail). In both her human and mermaid form she is given Aquapathy (speaking with aquatic fauna), slight Aquakinesis (control of water) and a magical singing voice. As a mermaid Ariel has chosen to be good, but there are some mermaids that choose to use their mystical voices to brainwash sailors, luring them to their deaths.

Weaknesses:
Ariel's largest weakness is that she is still learning about the world; and not just the differences between land and see. She is, admittedly, a little naive. Due to coming from the sea, Ariel is not entirely familiar with the way things work on land. Many things confuse her about the way humans are. Religion, politics, war... it's all foreign to her. Furthermore, she is a little impulsive. She sees what she wants, and she goes all in for it- without really thinking about all the repercussions of her decisions. She also has a crippling fear of nets. Just seeing them can cause her to get nervous, and if one is around her she will thrash until it's hard to breathe. She looses all forms of logic when in a net. She can't help it.

Image
Fears:
! Nets.
! Suffocation.
! Being eaten.

Memory:
"I remember a storm.. like none I had ever seen.. And a yell.. I.. I had to help. I remember a man. He fell into the water. I.. I think I saved him.. I can't remember his face. All I can remember is a small boat and a castle in the distance.. Flags... Green and Blue... and a name.. Someone was looking for him... Eric."

Current State:
Ariel begins her new story by being found by a local fisherman of the town. She vaguely knows who she is, but where she comes from and where she is going is a little fuzzy. She recalls moments in her past in brief flashes for now. She has been living in the town for a few weeks now, adjusted to living a simple life. She works for the local florist (the fisherman's wife) as she earns her keep and tries to remember exactly who she is and why she feels guilty for wanting to eat people-- when, according to her research, it's perfectly normal for her kind.

【Who She Is】

Personality:
Ariel is a confident young lady. She loves nothing more than doing the impossible. The more people tell her she can't do something- the more she wants to do it. She is also an incredibly curious creature. She's always ready and willing to learn something. Anything and everything can be made interesting to her. At least she's never bored, but she might become a little annoying if you can't find her questions endearing. She is a kind person, remembering to think of others and offering help when she can. Ariel is very, very, adventurous. As I said earlier, she loves trying to do things people tell her she can no do. This includes pulling on her bravery to support her in trying things that have never been done before. It's thrilling to explore the unknown and break free of the every-day normality.

Ariel is very bright, despite being inexperienced in the world. She is exceptionally smart for a mermaid, though by human standards she might not have as much 'common' sense. Then again, what's 'common' for humans is not quite common for mermaids to be fair. That being said, she is a very fast learner and as mentioned earlier- she loves to learn. Above everything else, Ariel is very free-spirited. Being kept in any place, from a tiny closet to the ocean, can drive Ariel crazy. She can not stand feeling confined in any way. She's very headstrong, and when she believes she is right she will argue until her face turns blue. She doesn't like being told what to do by authority figures and this can get her into trouble. Because she is so stubborn she often refuses to listen to voices of reason if she thinks they will stand between her and what she wants.

Although she is inexperienced, Ariel is a textbook romantic. She yearns for that once-in-a-lifetime love. Speaking of love, when it comes to family and friends she is a little over-protective. Truthfully, she is a bit of a hypocrite. She doesn't want others to tell her what to do, keep her from doing things she wants, or putting the breaks on her aspirations- but at the same time she is one to try and keep her friends and family from doing so. If she believes it is dangerous, she will want to volunteer to do it herself instead of letting her friends be the hero. If she doesn't think someone should do something, she's back to being hardheaded and protective. She'll do all she can to try and stop them.

Most recently she is having more and more urges to feed on people, something she's a little uneasy and uncertain about. She feels like she shouldn't, but she doesn't remember why.

Confident | Curious | Adventurous | Romantic | Stubborn | Impulsive | Kind | Intelligent | Headstrong | Brave | Spirited | Lovable | Conflicted

【Where She Came From】

Image
History:

Ariel was born as the youngest of seven girls. By fate, she was the princess of the King of the ocean, King Triton. One by one her siblings reached the age of fifteen, a special age for all mermaids. It was the age that they were finally allowed to travel to the surface... but Ariel could not wait that long! A spunky young mermaid, Ariel spent her afternoons traveling around the sea looking for sunken treasures and conversing with her animal friends. Her one and only dream was to become a human. She had seen them before, in paintings on the castle walls of her home. They intrigued her so. They were strange and beautiful creatures. Finally, she turned fifteen and was allowed to travel to the surface. For the first couple times she traveled up, she did not see any humans but she did meet a quirky bird who she made friends with. It was one that while she was following after said bird that she noticed a ship on the horizon. Unable to resist her curiosity, Ariel swam closer. It was then that a dark storm came out of nowhere. The storm churned the waters and tossed about the small vessel. She heard a yell split through the air, squeezing between the sounds of thunder cracking overhead.

Without thinking, Ariel swam as fast as she could to the small boat. A figure drifted past in the water. It was a human! A male. He appeared unconscious- probably from hitting his head on the reef. Ariel saved him, taking him to the beach. It was not an easy task and she was exhausted once she made it to shore. It was the closest she had ever been to a human, and to land. He wasn't waking up, and unsure what to do she began to sing. Her magical voice drifted into the air and called to his conscious mind. It worked. He began to stir. Afraid that she might be see, which is strictly forbidden, Ariel dashed away from him. She hid behind a rock and watched as an older man came into view on the beach. "Eric! Eric, where are you?"

She smiled, hidden by the rocks as Eric was rescued by his fellow human. He was the most handsome man she had ever seen, and she knew that someway- she had to see him again but as he walked away Ariel realized that the only way to do that would be to become a human herself. She set out to find Ursula- a magical sea witch. She traded her voice for legs, and stumbled around on the beach. Luckily she was found and by fate she was brought back to Eric. Although she could not speak, she was having the time of her life in his castle. He showed her around his kingdom, and everything fascinated her- forks particularly.

Then the evil witch came back into Ariel's life, disguised as a princess that Eric was to marry. Ariel's heart was broken, but in the end the witch was revealed and the spell that muted Ariel was broken. Although the witch Ursula escaped Ariel was happy for the time. She had found her once-in-a-lifetime love. Eric wanted to know her story, and so she told him. When she got to the part about Ursula, Eric was enraged. He wanted to get rid of the evil seawitch so that she could never hurt anyone again. The two set out onto the ocean. That's when the explosion hit.

Ariel was blown from the side of the ship- cast into the ocean. Unconscious from the impact, her body shifted into her mermaid form to save her. When she awoke, she had no idea who she was- but she knew one thing: she was terrified. Nets tangled her trail and her arms and though she fought it, the more she moved- the more tangled she became. Then everything went dark. When she awoke for the second time- she was in a dark boat and she was not alone.

Dialogue Color: #ff2929 || Location: Ruby's Cafe/Diner

ImageRuby stood behind the counter of her cafe early in the morning waiting for her new employee, Gretel Fischer to arrive. Around this time everyone in town was beginning to wake up but as for Ruby, she always seemed to find herself awakening at the crack of dawn. It was something she never seemed able to understand.

The air was slightly chilled from the light fog that was beginning to lift itself from the ground and dissipate into the air as the sun rose higher into the sky. It was cold enough to send slight shivers throughout your body but not bad enough that you needed to cover yourself. This was the kind of weather Ruby always loved. Not too hot, not too cold. But of course she knew it was going to warm up in the afternoon, it was summer after all. She was just glad that summer was going to be coming to an end soon.

Ruby finally got everything in the diner ready for the day and she stepped into the kitchen and began cooking up her father's breakfast. He always asked for the same thing, sausage, eggs, biscuit, and even a waffle or pancake, depending on what his mood is like when he wakes up. She loves helping out her father, but she just wished he would return to himself so she wouldn't have to be waiting on him like this every morning, he would just be able to come to the diner when he wanted to. But either way, she knew she shouldn't complain. He would do the same thing for her, well, she hoped he would anyway.

Just as she finished cooking her father's food, she wrote and note and placed it on the counter in the diner just in case Gretel got there before she returned from bringing her father his wanted breakfast. The note read: Gretel, I will return soon until then keep the front door locked and feel free to get yourself a drink and what not. When I return I will start you on your training, won't take long.

Ruby walked the ten minutes back to her home, the big house in the middle of Crimson Grove, her father was the mayor. She stepped inside and made her way up the stairs pass her room, Belle's room; she seemed to still be sleeping, and finally arrived to her father's room. Ruby knocked on the door a couple times before opening it up and speaking, "I have your breakfast," she stated as she set it down on the small table in his room. "I need to return to the diner, I'm training a new girl today. If you need anything have Belle get in touch with me. I love you Pa," she stated before turning on her heels and beginning on her way back to the diner.
Image
As Ruby walked through the empty streets, it seemed as if things were starting to pick up for the day's busy schedules most people had. She just hoped she wouldn't run into Flynn Ryder any time today. The past couple of days he has been trying to take things from her, but of course she was always able to sense him coming close to her without even being within four feet from her. That was always one of the things she enjoyed about being a wolf. But no matter how much she enjoyed the good parts, the bad parts were nothing she would want to put up with.

Just thinking about what she is capable of, the things she has done just makes her sick to her stomach. The brunette finally reached the door to the diner and she stepped in, opening the diner for business. She slid the hood off her head, though she kept the red, silk cloth draped around her body. This was the last thing she had from her grandmother and it was so much more important than some sort of remembrance item. She just hoped nobody would find out.

"Gretel, are you here?" she called out to the empty diner, hoping that she would come across her somewhere in the building.

The morning air was brisk and cool as it passed into her lungs in quiet rhythm. Her legs carried her across the beach as they did nearly every start of the day. There was something exotic and thrilling about running. Each morning she set out on the same trail, and every evening she would slip away from town to her secret water hole in the woods. She couldn't risk going into the ocean. Something told her that if she went there, something, or someone, would take her away. The hidden lake was still on her mind when her pocket buzzed to life. Large blue eyes glance down to her shorts. A text from Mrs. Net indicated it was time to deliver the first order of the day.

In short time she was showered and dressed for the day and straddling over her bike to deliver the bouquet of roses and lilies to the Hood's house. Was that Ruby leaving the drive? She couldn't tell from so far away. Focusing on the road again, she continued her way up the hill with her delivery- a hum on her lips. Just three knocks upon the door, as always, and then she let herself inside. The routine was a familiar one. Flowers for the dinning room, kitchen and living room. "Upon one summer's morning, I carefully did stray..." She sang quietly to herself as she carried the flowers to each designated room, keeping her eyes down to her task.

She stopped singing only once the last flower was situated. Something creaked in the corner, but she didn't seem overly alarmed. "Mr. Hood?" She waits quietly for a moment, looking around and yet not seeing anyone. "Good morning!" She smiles, unaware if he could even see her or not. "It's a lovely morning today. There was this little crab on the beach, he was quite..." She stops short, about to say 'rude', but how could she explain how she had conversed with the little vulgar creature? "Cute. I think I saw Ruby earlier... She must have just left.... I hope you like the flowers. I know you normally get roses, but I convinced Mrs. Net to put in some lilies this time. Roses are a common symbol of love and romance. Did you know?"

She peers curiously at one of the bookshelves in the living room, seemingly unaware that her idle chatter and standing around in a customer's house was a little odd and not entirely proper. "Have you read all of these?" Slender fingers reach out to touch, but draw back at the last minute from the book spines. "I'm still learning. Reading is... hard." She laughs a little and turns around, looking at the empty room. "I've heard there are some new people in town! Did you hear? Isn't it splendid? It's like we're getting bigger and bigger every day!" She was, unfortunately, almost always this chipper. "Mr. Hood.... Do you suppose we could have another festival soon? I think a festival would be lovely. Summer's almost over, after all... What do you think?"

Few Nights Back

"Jack there's something I'd like for you to get. Here I have drawn it for you." Loup handed Jack a torn crinkled piece of leather. From the looks of it, it would seem that the drawing as been drawn for a lot longer than just now. He must have kept it by his side for ages in order for it to look so old and have an odd smell.

Before taking it from Loup, he gave a questioning look towards him. "You want me to find this because?"

Loup looked at Jack for an offload of a long time. His wolf like yellow eyes narrowed behind the hairiness of his eyelids. He almost looked like he would die right there of depression. Jack felt disgusted, not by how he was getting the sad look, but at how easily it made him want to give up and just say yes, he couldn't help but show it on his face. It was horrifying.

Jack gave out a long dramatic sigh as he used his staff to get up to stand on the window ledge. "Just so you know, I might not be getting a reason as to why I have to look for this thing, but at least tell me where it last was or was seen. It might help. To top it off, how old is this thing?! It's probably older than your daughter isn't it? If it's been gone that long, I will frost bite what manhood you have left Dog. Do you have any idea how long I'd be looking for this? You better have a damn good reason when I get back. Tsk" He was so pissed that his staff lit up in a pale white-blue color and ended up freezing the whole window.

Loup handed Jack an old pure silver key. That had a wolf with wings in the background. The whole design was so like him. Though, it was questioning how he wanted me to get this thing and not his own flesh and blood. 'Dose he does not trust her enough with it? Maybe it's something he doesn't want her to see?...'

Taking the leather and key, he looked at the drawing, a drawing that made his face go pale and answered his question about not wanting Ruby near it.

"It's a lot to ask for. I know, especially when you know so little. But you will bring it here for me. I will be needing it."

"Like hell! I'm never going to get this! Not in your lifetime! Are you insane? This is suicide!" Jack slammed his hand down on the bedside desk, leaving the key and leather there. "We might be close, but we aren't that close. Get someone else to do that! I've already had to deal with this once, I won't do it again!" He was so pissed that he wasn't even going to bother to control himself. The whole side of the room that he was standing in had frost everywhere. It even started to snow a bit in the room. "You've crossed the line this time. What would Ruby think..." He threw those last words in Loup's face, taking his leave.

It's been three nights since then and Jack hasn't come by. Loup couldn't really remember the last time his house was so quiet at night. Lately, though, Loup hasn't got much sleep. That morning he had let his daughter come in and do her normal morning go bouts. Giving him food and saying a few words before taking off. As much as he loved his dear child, sometimes he'd wish she would move on from him and live her own life. Instead of being stuck here taking care of a miserable old man, such as himself.

This time, he had spoken just before she stepped out. "Maybe it's now time you find piece and give me grandchildren." He was unsure if she heard him because seconds later she closed the door and left the room, saying her last words about Belle, their new live-in helper. Maybe Caretaker would fit her role.

The house went quiet once again after Ruby took off. He had gone downstairs and into their home library. It was small, but at least they had one. The books kept him from being too bored. Even though it was a bit hard to read them at times, so he'd only get half the story. Taking the book, he sat in his normal seating, behind some curtains near the balcony, unseen and out of the way. The sound of his name was being spoken by a soft and familiar voice. Ariel. The girl who'd come, talk to him about random things and bring flowers to him. It was nice to hear about the little things she'd speak of from the outside world. She at times would have a wild imagination.

"Yes, I knew. They are quite miserable as well to be around. The lilies are a nice scent change." The room became silent for a bit, he could here she was still there, looking around. So he opened his book, glancing about it, only to hear her speak again. "Only the ones that look extremely old. The newer ones, I have not." He couldn't read them, not anymore like he use to. He didn't answer he new question about a lot more people coming to town. He wasn't too fond of it. More people meant more unwanted problems. And with Jack not around, it was hard to handle.

"Festival? You'd have to ask Ruby. I don't take part in those things." His claws dug into the book as he kept his voice calm, trying to control himself. He was more upset about how he couldn't be apart of anything, including missing out on his own daughters life. Unsure of saying anything more, he didn't. He had spoken enough.

There are something's in life that you get used to. For Belle, sleeping in a bed- not matter how comfortable or luxurious it was- was not one of them. She had tossed in turned in her new bed all night. Her little apartment that she called home was her real bed. That was until she discovered her father was sick. So sick, that with Mr. French hadn't told her or his boss that he was sick at all. She had found out the awful truth one day while visiting Dr. Weaver. It wasn't the usual wellness or sic check up. They were sharing a cup of coffee while she asked him questions about being a doctor and some specific questions she had when he asked how her father was feeling.

Of course, doctor's aren't really supposed to give out that sort of information but Belle has never been one to back down before she's gotten what she's wanted. This is how she found out that her father needed to be hospitalized. And she didn't waste a moment after that. In fact, that very night Maurice was hospitalized. But she was also had to visit her best friend, Ruby.

Her father's insurance went through his work at the Hood household. He needed to keep that insurance if he was going to be treated at the hospital. She spent several hours trying to come up with a solution with her friend. She only thing they could agree upon was Belle taking over as caretaker at the Hood household. Belle would never take handouts, even from her best friend. So it was decided she'd keep her apartment and bring what she needed to the Hood house. This was after they discussed things with Ruby's father as well.

The alarm Belle had set had yet to go off but she was awake. She sighed, glancing at her window. Dawn was barely breaking. Sleep was evading her so she might as well get up. She pushed at her blankets and went into the bathroom to get ready for the day. Once she showered, she put on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. She didn't really have to wear something nice to do any cleaning. She braided her hair back.

Belle opened her door and went over to Ruby's door. She knocked softly but she didn't answer. She peeked her head into the room and sighed when she found it empty. Of course, she would have to start off her morning alone. Perhaps she'd stop by the diner after she worked on the garden. It would be easier to garden in the morning when it was cooler.

She made her way downstairs and stopped when she heard voices.

"Ruby? Mr. Hood?" She asked, walking into the library. She smiled when she saw Ariel. "Oh hi there. I didn't know you were here... I thought I heard you talking with someone... Is Mr. Hood here as well?" She asked her, glancing around the library, though she didn't see Mr. Hood she could almost sense him there.

She smiled at her again. She didn't know the red head very well but she was nice. "How are you today?"

The sound of Belle's voice caused Loup's ear to twitch, like a dog whenever his master was calling him. He tried to ignore it but...

"Oh hi there. I didn't know you were here... I thought I heard you talking with someone... Is Mr. Hood here as well?" The sound of her feet against the floor, the scent that came linger in after it is what did it.

Getting up from his chair, his claws gripped onto the drapes that hid him. He wanted so badly to rip them off and see the woman's face, to know what she looks like, but he couldn't help but stare at his hand. Covered in fur and claws, he was like a real life nightmare. His eyes narrowed as his hand slipped from the drapes, letting himself sit back down.

"I will leave you to be and I bid you ladies a fair day." His low voice spoke softly as he made his escape through the balcony after sliding the drapes over to not be seen and managed to get himself into his room from a little wall climbing.

He had done this many times and each time he does, he sees nothing different in the mirror that hung in his room. A monster that he used to be over the human he is trying to be all mixed in one. It was a nightmare trying to take over a dream. A man who wants to be a man over a beast, but a beast who can't let go of the man. And eyes that looked tortured. This was it for him, this had to be it. If he'd let the wolf take over, the only one he fears it might get is his daughter. It's the only part of him that he has no control over, on who that wolf kills. It's a...monster.

Angry he broke the mirror with his fist causing it to slide down the wall and cause a loud ruckus. Glass flying everywhere it could reach and now all he could see was himself in all directions, it truly was a nightmare. He almost felt dizzy and sick from the sight of it, trying to breathe he grabbed his head, panting as hard as he could, he couldn't take it. His eyes turned yellow once again and he let out a crying howl. It echoed through the house and traveled through to the outside. The town could probably hear it. Loup, on the other hand, didn't care who heard it. They should all know the monster that he's become.

Image Normally Frost would come into town during the day in his almost human form, but today he came into town as his night self. It's already been three nights since he hasn't changed back and because of this result, Jack has become a bit, well he has become Night Jack. He was covered in leather from head to toe and his chest had a guard over it. To top it all off, he had come in on a motorbike. Making no effort of moving his now parked bike right in front of the dinner's window. In which led to a result of the sides of the frame frosting over, but he did that on purpose. With a smirk, he walked right in as if he owned the place. Looking around, he noticed is favorite Fairy. He wasted no time making his way towards her. And just to give Ruby a noticed that he was here, to make her really notice, he sent a friendly cold chill down her back, without making it notable that it was him who did it. His smirk became more known when he stood before Trix.

"Did ya miss me?" He opened his arms a bit and wiggled his fingers as if to give me a hug now or never.

Anyone who knew or seen Jack before would know that this side of him wasn't normal to see during the day. Either there was something wrong or he had something to prove. None of which anyone would know.

"Listen girly." He whispered into her ear. "I've only come by for a short time and then I have to go again. I only came to give you this." He put it around her neck and there it hung. A necklace full of frosted glowing blue pixie dust. "It will thaw soon, don't worry. I thought you'd like it and let me tell you. That wasn't easy to find. Oh right, then there was this." He reached into the inside of his coat and pulled out a small wand. "Now this was given to me to give to you. I can't really say who I got it from, but they said when the time comes, you'll need it. It was odd, but whatever. I didn't bother asking anything because the person left before I could." It too was covered in frost.

But everything stopped once he heard Loup's howl. It was loud and almost painful to listen to. Frost shook his head and made a slight glance over to Ruby. Patting Trix's head he excused himself and softly placed his hand on Ruby's shoulder as if to say he'd take care of it himself. Leaving the diner just as fast as he came in. "Later Trixster!" A nickname he calls Trixie once in a while, it's like saying Trickster.

Ariel jumped a little when his voice suddenly sounded from behind the curtain. She hadn't been entirely sure just where he was, but she had figured he was somewhere near. "Yes, I knew. They are quite miserable as well to be around. The lilies are a nice scent change." He was being quite sour. "I'll tell Mrs. Net you like them," she promises, undeterred by his lack of enthusiasm. "Only the ones that look extremely old. The newer ones, I have not." "Oh." "Festival? You'd have to ask Ruby. I don't take part in those things." "Don't take part? But... aren't you the mayor? Isn't it your--"

She's cut off as a feminine voice rounds the corner, greeting her. "Oh hi there. I didn't know you were here... I thought I heard you talking with someone... Is Mr. Hood here as well? How are you today?" Caught off guard, Ariel stood there awkwardly gawking at the girl. She'd seen her around before, but hadn't expected her to catch her pestering her boss' customer. In her stretch of silence and staring, Mr. Hood spoke from behind the curtain. "I will leave you to be and I bid you ladies a fair day."

Had she said something wrong? Large blue eyes shifted from the girl to the curtains, where the now open window left them to the wind. Slowly she turned back to the girl across from her, nervously running her palms over her shorts. "I, ah... I deliver flowers. For Mrs. Nets. I... I was just leaving. Um. Sorry? Sorry." Awkward She winced at the exchange, feeling embarrassed at being caught diddling around on the job. She made move to turn and leave, just as a crash came from upstairs. She stopped short, eyes darting to the ceiling as though she could see through it and find out what happened. "Did you hear-- what was that?" Frowning, she looked to Belle, as though the girl could actually see through the ceiling and tell the little fish what had happened. Curious blues rested upon the other female, patiently waiting for her to either move to investigate the sound or to explain the occurrence. Was it normal? A dog, maybe?

A dog. The confusion left her face for an instant, replaced with a blank look of remembering a memory long forgotten. A dog. A big, slobbering, floppy dog. It made her heart all warm and fuzzy... but why? Snapping back to reality, she cleared her throat. "I'll, um.... see myself out." She didn't exactly want to be in trouble with Mrs. Nets if she found out that she had stood around so long. Awkward feet shuffle toward the door.

Once back on her bike, she cast a look over her shoulder at the house. The howl that had come as she exited the building had put a little pep into her step. It was creepy. Sharks she could handle. Strange land creatures? Not so much. She wanted to put distance between her and whatever that noise had come from! Directing her bike forward, she headed back toward town.

Hansel headed to the store first. Pulling out his little shopping list, he lazily wandered up and down the aisles and until had most the stuff on his list, which he decided was close enough. Leaving the store, his arms now full of grocery bags he decided to head to the dinner and check up on Gretel at her first day of work. That is if Ruby hadn't decided to fire Gretel yet. Which Hansel knew was quite likely given Gretel's temperamental nature. She was bound to get grumpy with a customer eventually.

Walking past the store though, he looked in through the window and saw how busy the little diner was. Deciding it was probably best not to bother Gretel whilst it was so busy, he just gave her a little wave through the window. Though his smile turned a scowl when he saw she was currently taking an order from Flynn. Hansel personally didn't mind the guy, but didn't like the idea of Gretel being so cosy with a thief. He had been hoping this job would leave her with less time to hang out with Flynn, but it seemed the other way around.

Continuing past the diner, in a slightly worse mood than before, he decided he might as well just head back to the Nursing Home. Clearly Gretel didn't need him and his arms were starting to get a little sore from holding the bags of groceries. That was when he looked up and saw someone whizzing towards him on a bike. Of course he would have recognised that head of hair anywhere. "Slow down speed racer!" Hansel called out to Ariel as he flagged her down. "What are you running from?" He asked jokingly, referring to her very fast pace.

ImageFlynn smirked when he heard her bring up Maude's. That was an amazing day, one of the best the two of them have ever done. "I'll give you a chance at feeling the adrenaline this time I had too much fun at Maude's," he responded as he stood to his feet and pulled out the matches from his pocket, showing them to Gold very briefly in a way no one else would notice before stepping into the male's restroom.

Flynn looked up at the ceiling for the water spicket before lighting the match and holding it up to the spicket, waiting for it to signal that there was a fire in the building. Just as the water began running out the spicket in the bathroom, he ran out the door, acting as if there were a real fire in the restroom and pulled the fire alarm, setting off that loud, annoying beeping sound and activating the other water spickets in the building. "There's a fire!" he shouted over the loudness in the building before heading out the door with the rest of the crowd. That's when he gave Gold their signal. It was now her turn.

Belle had suspected Mr. Hood was in the room but the fact that he didn't say anything made her nervous. Did he not like her? They hadn't even really met. She wished there was something she could do to smooth things out. If she could only introduce herself, maybe get to know him a little. Was she wrong to thing she should have a friendly relationship with her boss? She had met plenty of people in her time here and never ran into anyone that she couldn't get along with.

"I will leave you to be and I bid you ladies a fair day." A deep voice from the window said.

She turned in the direction. She could already here movement. "Wait, Mr. Hood." She sighed. Had he climbed out the window to get away from her?

Was she really so bad? What had she even done to him? She turned to Ariel as she began to talk. She gave her a soft smile as she spoke.

"I know who you are, Ariel. Thanks for the flowers." She said, walking towards her she pulled a five out of her pocket and held it out for her as a tip.

Belle nearly jumped out of her skin at the sound of the crash. She looked towards the stairs as if she could see the source of the sound. "I-I did... I'll go check on it." She turned back to Ariel and gave her a comforting smile. "I probably just left a vase too close to the edge of a table."

That's when she heard the howl that made her shudder to her core. She stared back towards the stairs. "I should go check on that. Thanks again Ariel..." Belle said, more than a little distracted.

She was already hurrying up the stairs when she heard Ariel open and shut the front door. She was sure that the noise came from Mr. Hood's room. But there wasn't a possible way he could have made it from his window up to his room... unless he was really good at parkour or something. He couldn't be in there it made no sense.

"Mr. Hood?" Belle asked softly, knocking on the door. She only waited for a moment before she opened to door.

For some reason, her eyes went directly to the broken mirror and not the massive wolf in the room. She grabbed a towel and hurried over to the mirror, carefully picking up the larger pieces and putting it onto the towel so it would be easier to pick up.

"You should really be more careful, that could mean seven years bad luck for you." She tried to joke. She thought she heard the shuffling of bare feet. "You should stay back until I get this all cleaned up, we wouldn't want you getting some glass in your feet." She said.

But she only now realized there were too many feet that moved. Belle looked up slowly, her skin turning white as she met those yellow eyes. She gulped.

A wolf. Who the hell keeps a wolf in their bedroom. "Hey there, sweetheart... I hope I didn't scare you." She said, taking to the wolf sweetly, hoping it wasn't feeling the urge to rip out her throat. She moved to her knees so she was lower than the wolf, leaning forward a little so her head was lower than his. If she should she was submissive to him, the wolf wouldn't see her as a threat.

"Just keep calm, Belle." She thought to herself.

"It's okay... I'm just here to make sure you don't get hurt." She told the wolf honestly. She kept her eyes locked with the wolf's which could actually be stupid but she wanted to see if she was about to be attacked or not.

And that's when she heard her best friend. She didn't want to startle the wolf by calling out to her friend. She just hoped Ruby would make her way upstairs and find her. "You hear that, that's Ruby. You know her? She's my best friend." She told the wolf, still in her sweet voice.

"Must... not... scare... wolf." Belle thought.
