Originally there were fourteen. Fourteen proud lands ruled over by their constellations. They kept balance on the continent, their powers meant to ensure peace.
Then war broke out between two of the kingdoms, Ophiuchus and Chamaeleon. Who started the war depended on which side you took, though there was no arguing with who ended it. Chamaeleon was destroyed, Ophiuchus the victor.
With one decisive, destructive move the world has been divided into two: those siding with Ophiuchus and those fighting for revenge for Chamaeleon.
However, whether as a result of the conflict or of passing time, the stars are slowly sliding into chaos. If the rulers are to stop this, they must somehow put aside their differences to save their Kingdoms... and the world.

In order to save their Gem they have to work together with their counterpart to strengthen both Gems and their Kingdom’s life force. Or destroy the other Gem and stole it's power for their Gem. If the Gem is destroyed the Kingdom will turn into no man's land. Such was the fate of Chamaeleon when its Gem was destroyed by their rival kingdom.

The world is built around 13 Kingdoms, one of which is now no man's land, previously known as Kingdom of Chamaeleon. Each player is responsible for creating their own Kingdom (Kingdom OOC coming). The setting is medieval, so electricity and cars are out of limits. Players are free to create their own fantasy creatures but they must be accepted by GM.

The goat-creature continued to breath heavily behind him, its cloven hooves pawing at the ground every few seconds. 'Oh please,' Aries rolled his eyes while rubbing at his temples. '-just die already.' His resolve to kill the creature solidified as the meeting stretched on.
Aries sipped at a glass of wine as Dante lashed out at the pink-haired Pisces woman.
"For the sake of our kingdoms, I will work with you Aries." A voice came across the table. Kaveh of Libra. Aries slowly lifted his gaze to meet the man squarely. "Though I do not fully understand the spell..." At that, Aries' eyes drifted to the tattered scrap of scroll on the table before him.
He didn't reply, but he did squint at the thing. Why was it so dirty? Was that a bloodstain on the side? Did they think phrasing the instructions in such archaic language would make them sound more impressive?
It was then that a flicker of Jamarreon's conversation with Aery caught Dragan's attention.
He smirked, lips curling against the rim of his cup at the promise to continue their fighting. Excellent. His appreciation for the Taurus man flared; it was good that the two of them had a mutual understanding on the nature of their relationship. Even if the war at large ended, Aries would sooner die than give up the thrill of combat.
Oh, yes. He has yet to respond to Kaveh's inquiry.
Aries set his wine goblet down with a clunk, returning his attention to the well-dressed man. "I like you, Kaveh," he began. And it was true. The ruler of Libra was one of the two rulers who had reached out to Aries and attempted to converse with him. "I will grant this service to you, as a token of my goodwill. Neither of us require the assistance of an arcane ritual to be strong, but perhaps we can make it interesting nevertheless."
As Aries spoke, the man toyed with the armguard at his wrist. The handle of a silver throwing knife flicked out with a twitch of his wrist. Beautiful craftsmanship. Aries hummed as he glanced over his shoulder and flung the blade at the guardian standing behind him. Despite his casual attitude, the knife shot out with deadly precision straight towards the jugular vein throbbing in the fawn's throat.

The rest of the words spoken were overtaken by the malicious thoughts in her head. What have you done to build such a representation of yourself? Perhaps you truly are a harlot. A woman who cannot keep what was built between her legs to herself. A dirty prostitute that calls herself an empress. What a joke you are you unlovable sk━.
"━Dante, I understand that you have issues talking to people without berating them, but please, do it to someone whom will fight back━"
The words were drowned out once again as her friend and allies comment pierced her through the heart. She muttered a wince, but the onslaught of noise overpowered its noise. How could she think of me so weak? I would rather be called a whore... After all the time she spent being lectured by Reko to remain strong in the face of the hell she grew up in, she had believed that she had trained herself to portray a more resilient character. Now, she supposed not.
Dauphina could not care less about the rest of the ruler's exchanges besides Nadya and Sanctuary's. Nadya had spit burning judgment in Dante's way, an act in which Dauphina appreciated. Though what surprised her most was Virgo's long retort to all those who were uncooperative. Her and Sanctuary had never been very close, especially as they were not allies, but the way she defended Dauphina's ability to stand her own ground was music to her ears. She suddenly had a new found respect towards the woman. A respect that would surely spiral into an overwhelming desire to woo her. Afterall, she was gorgeous.
After everyone had said their piece, she finally stood. Her height met Nadya's, a perfect representation of their similarities and chemistry. "I am sorry to interrupt all of the unanswered questions and so forth," she spoke as she looked towards Nadya and Cellica with a pause, "however, I can no longer sit in silence. I am disappointed in the way I have been represented to a few who are present here." Her eyes remained on Cellica, a person she thought was her dear friend.
"I believe that I have shown more than enough that I am able to stand my own ground. I quite bluntly would be deep within the scummy grounds of the streets I lived on if it were not for my ability to fight back." Somehow, her voice remained steady and passionate. A voice that she was not so sure she could muster given the circumstances she was faced with. "I am deeply embarrassed by how you portray me Cellica."
She sighed and moved her gaze to the man next to her. "Dante, I am unsure of what I have done to deserve such distaste from you. I offer my dearest condolences if you will let your kingdom suffer over something unforgivable that I have done. I, on the other hand, will gladly accept your partnership in restoring peace and prosperity as long as I will not be betraying my allies in doing so." At this point in time, it had felt that those hours within the carriage were not wasted. Reko's words had reached her subconscious in some way to make her speak the way she had. She did not lack maturity, but she certainly was not able to produce such elegant statements a majority of the time.
You did not screw up this time. Commendable job, tramp. She sighed in relief as the words finally were able to come out. Though, she could not forget that she had to show great gratitude as well. "Sanctuary, I am very much in your debt. I thank you for your kind words. Nadya, the same." With that, her butt planted itself back within her seat. Her typical giddy eyes seemed as distant as ever.

Anemone shifted her eyes from other rulers whom decided speaking their mind to be appropriate at the time, and those who seemed to be otherwise inclined. Anemone felt an eye twitch at Dante's outburst towards Dauphina, going so far as to attack her person. Then there was Akai who, at least in Anemone's eyes, seemed the least convicted in what she was deciding. That makes the rumours of her being on Dante's beck and call to have some validity to them, I suppose. She thought to herself. Other outbursts from Cellica, retaliations from other rulers such as Sanctuary. If the King's speech, or even Nuocolo's speech, were meant to spur the leaders into cooperation, it would appear such hopes to be destroyed. A thought to which Anemone could only sigh in disappointment, though if she had to choose whether or not she was for such a task...
“Sovereign Anemone, I believe it would be in both of our best interests if we were to complete the Ritual of Astrologia.”
Interrupting her train of thought, Anemone turned her head to the source of the voice, directly to her right, Eino the ruler of Scorpio. She looked at him with a blank expression at first before wordlessly smiling and giving him a nod. She adjusted the cap on her head before standing up and, once more, looking over at the mess of a meeting that lay before her. Moving the plate that sat empty in front of her a bit to the side, she took a deep breath with a hand raised to the sky before forcefully bringing it down on the table in front of her, resulting in a loud banging and causing some cups to spill over and silverware to shake. She closed her eyes, taking a brief pause, before opening them again once more, her smile still remaining on her face, though her eyes burned with life.
"Oh, King. I am most certain that I speak on the behalf of some, if not all, of us when I say with the utmost sincerity that I find your proposition to be somewhat... questionable. Now, I know not of the situations or circumstances of all the gathered rulers here today, but for myself I find your proposition, while enticing, to leave me with some doubts." Anemone projected her voice, ensuring that all present, Ruler, Guardian, or King alike, could hear. "With all due respect to my fellow leaders, know that I understand that not all of us here would stoop to such levels. But I am certain that we can all think of at least one person who may take the opportunity of this ritual as a chance to destroy an enemy gem."
She let that thought simmer amongst the group for a few brief moments, working her stare across the table. "Even if none of us present would resolve to such foul play, what would this ritual accomplish in the end? A brief time of temporary peace? Perhaps build some trust between enemies in hopes of ending the war? Put an end to this continental feud we find ourselves in? Nay. Even if we somehow managed to agree to stop this war, it would simply be a delay until we are at each others throats once more. This is not a path to peace, dear King." Anemone close her eyes and took a deep breath once more before continuing. "In order for us to obtain peace, we must prepare for war! This is a paradox with which we must understand and live by. I am afraid that I cannot agree with this ritual you have proposed. This war is pivotal in deciding the fates of our people. We cannot, we should not, prolong it any more than is necessary. If a gem is destroyed, then so do the strings of fate weave around us. People are suffering and we do not have the luxury to play at friends. As long as there are disagreements amongst the rulers, there will be disagreements among the people, there will be war. The only way we will find ourselves free of such strife is if we become united under one righteous banner."
Anemone sat back down, taking a sip of her drink, some of which now spread across the table due to her previous strike upon it. "Our kingdoms are at war. Our people suffer. If destroying some gems will bring us to better days without conflict, then to that I say." Anemone smirked and raised her glass up. "Bear arms, and fight! For a better tomorrow!"

“Race of Slata, Nuocolo Gracia. Your words are those of a bitter man. I thought you were man of logic, but your words are unsensible. Look around you sir. What do you see? Land in ashes, and why? Chamaeleon Gem was destroyed bringing the death with it. As it has been brought into discussion by several Rulers, how would your Kingdom live and prosper if the Gem was destroyed? And stealing it? Every person around this table can prove to you that no one, not even the Guardians would be able to move your Gem around. Each Gem contains the whole soul and life of your Kingdom, and you imagine it is some medallion you can just steal and carry around. Your Gem exists. Your Gem is in your land. You are just too blind to see that.”
The King let a moment of silence pass as to let Nuocolo think of the words just spoken. Once again he started walking slowly around the table. He had heard the worries of the Rulers and addresses them all at once.
“Now to your address your other concerns. Performed correctly the Gems gain back the energy they have lost. Strengthening each of your Gem means your fields will prosper and the illnesses among people lessens. If you fail the Ritual the Gems either get none or little of that energy but it does not harm them by any means. Thus you may safely attempt it several times if needed, just know that once Gem has its full power the Ritual will not add to it. And you will know if it is performed correctly. You will feel it in your hearts.” He paused one again letting others to gather the information as there sure was a lot to it. “Now it is not within my power to affect such mundane matters as protecting you or your companions life in enemy territory. However if that's what you wish pray for your Guardians behind you as they might have something for the aid.” The King gave almost a sly smile. He might not be able to do anything directly but he could always guide them to right direction.
After the explanations there was a long silence. It was as if everyone were waiting for something. Guardians exchanged looks with others knowing what was to come. The King’s expression grew heavy and cold. His voice was stern, even angry. “As Rulers your land and people should always go first. Now you are acting selfish and think what makes life easier for you. You let your people suffer and your Gem die as long as it means another Kingdom follows behind you. Destroying a single Gem more will bring this world in unbalance, chaos and death. And do not think I am willing to give you a change to save it. You as Rulers are responsible of your land and people. If you are willing to destroy it, you do not deserve to have a land to rule!”
He placed his hands together and started chanting a spell, the Guardians joining to it. Their voice were strong and loud. As the chanting continued some of the rulers gaining an eerie blue light around them. And then - disappeared.
Choppy seas surrounded the small island, dark waves crashing against the jagged rocks encircling the piece of land like a dangerous halo. That reef of rocks promised wreck to any ship navigating these waters, but also protected the western beaches from the worst of the troubled seas beyond. One side of the island dropped into the sea slowly, turning from a dense forest, to a sparsely populated area of coconut trees, and finally to the white-golden sands of the beach. Follow the beach around and those tranquil shores quickly turned to quick moving inlets and dark, twisting caves. Blow holes in the cliff of the northern face of the island sent towards of water jetting up into the air, droplets like rain making the steep cliff-face dangerous and slippery. The thick forest in the centre of the island spoke of danger too, with the rumblings and crashings of vicious creatures echoing from its depths. However, one shouldn't only be wary of the loud creatures, for those that moved silently through the trees or the underbrush were just as dangerous and likely to kill any who crossed their paths. Caves along the coast and beside the streams that flowed from inland gave shelter to many such creatures, protecting from the elements, even if the sound of the winds blowing through the caves offering it's own eerie sounds.
Dante and Dauphina, Nuocolo, Cellica and Cedric, Akai and Faust, and Anemone and Eino found themselves standing on a southern side of deserted island. A voice spoke to them, a voice of their Guardians, seemingly out of nowhere and all around them. “You have been transferred to Island of Curses in order for you to work together and solve your problems. This is not a relaxing holiday as the forests are inhabited by the worst creatures that walk on this land. If you wish to stay alive, you can not go wander alone. Have someone to watch your back, share your resources, work together for safety. And if you do not? If even one of you faces their death in here? Then we fear none of you ever steps their foot outside of this island again.” And with that the voice was gone leaving the nine of them alone. No guards, servants or friends following them. But for some reason, be it a mistake in spell or done in purpose, Dante’s Dog was also send to the island.
Once the group had left, the King gathered himself from the outburst and turned his attention to rest of rulers still left around the table gazing over them with fatherly smile. “Sanctuary Virgo, Aries, Kaveh Mehrzan, Jamarreon Lacero and Nadya Irne, my children. I trust to see good happen in your Kingdoms, your lands prosper, your people celebrating. You have chosen the right path and thus earn my gratitude. I wish to give you a reward of this, please tell me your wishes my children, and I will fill them, if they are within my reach. But be warned, one mistake and you too will be send away to Island of Curses.”

Akai listened silently the words spoken around the table. Not many paid attention to her, and she didn’t mind that. She wouldn’t be surprised if no one even heard her sentence. "Well, my hands are tied. I am willing to work with an enemy to save my own kingdom unlike other deranged people, but if Leo won't cooperate then there's nothing I can really do about that." She heard Faust speak, and felt like sinking under the table. She wanted to shout, scream, something, but all she could do was sit there trying to keep herself together.
"Akai, you need to grown a spine, dear. Don't let him change who you are, or endanger your people. Faust is willing to work with you, as are many on enemy and ally side alike." Akai felt Sanctuarys hand on her shoulder. It made her feel even worse. She wanted to agree with her. But she couldn’t. Not with Dante being that strongly against it. She was too embarrassed to even look at her. She was too embarrassed to look at anyone.
All of sudden she noticed a glimmer of light as the Sun reflected from knife Aries throw at his guardian. But it was once she listened Anemone speaking of the war and death, she only wanted to be anywhere else than at the meeting. She wanted to hide and vanish. And within seconds Akai had disappeared under the table terrified of everyone more than ever. Dog noticed her and came to beg for treats knowing she always hid something in her sleeves. And Dog was right as Akai pulled out a piece of jerky and gave it to Dog who wagged his tail happily. At least Akai understood him. And he Akai. Or that was what she told to herself while petting him. Still under the table she heard the King to talk. First time actually realizing she really was hiding like a scaredy cat, she gathered herself and got back up and sat on her chair. If someone asked, she could always say she dropped her wedding ring and was looking for it. She still carried it on chain around her neck when she needed a little boost of courage. Though this time she had needed a larger boost.
The blue light surrounding her made her yelp out of fear, and Dog was caught in the same light as he was still begging for more treats. And with that - “Where am I? What happened? Is everyone here?” she had so many questions in her mind. She looked under her as she felt sitting on something. “Is that…. Bag of Dog food?” The Guardians speech made her heart beat faster and her ears twitched. Fear, nervousness, feeling lost, even hopeless. It was too much for her already weak mind as she felt tears falling down her cheeks.
She was trying to understand the situation. The King wanted all of them to work together in island of certain death. But looking at the group…. There was no way. Maybe she should just ask Dante to let her out of misery first? It was then she noticed Faust was there. “But she agreed, why would she be---? Oh no. No no no. It’s my fault. She’s here because of me isn’t she?” The thought made Akai feel even worse. Not only she’d die but now she had sentenced Faust to her death just as well. “F-Fa--- Monarkhes Capricorn. I…. I’m sorry… I… I think you’re here because of me.”
- By the time every one of the rulers who had something to said, said something, Dante's anger was boiling over as his face grew as red as his scarf. All he could think about, was what the annoying bitch of a twelve year old said to him. Biting his own thumb, blood trailed down the appendage as he resisted the urge to say anything further. To choke her. To watch as the wind and air Gemini controlled eluded her and he watched the life drain from her eyes into nothingness. A dull, lifeless, and equally as useless sack of meat.
'...when yours makes you just a few wrinkles short of an old perverted man.'
It shouldn't have angered him as much as it did. Had he been normal, he would of rationalized it as no way they would of known. He felt his skin crawl, as if he could still feel the fingers ghosting up his arms and raspy voice in his ears. He could still feel the stinging pain down his thighs, across his throat - Dante only snapped out of it when he saw Sanctuary address them, choosing her words softly. He would work with this harlot of a woman. He would change his mind for the sheer hope he could destroy the Gemini twins more then he ever wanted to before. Dauphina now had someone who outranked her in his hatred.
It was the twins who spoke first, before Nadya spoke up in a simple, yet easily as blunt manner. He scoffed at her, and said nothing further. He never made an attempt to address the insults or complaints her country or she ever made about him. It wouldn't start now. She was on the side of children, truthfully. It didn't speak very highly about her, in general, but he did seem to be approving
When the Leader of Virgo spoke up against him, yet somehow for him, his red face never faded. He was still struggling to keep a grip on things, on reality. He could almost feel something wet behind his ear - but there wasn't anything. Perhaps, it was just sweat. The white haired male leaned back as he listened to Sanctuary carefully. Addressed to hold his tongue, Dante had to admit to a point that she was right. He didn't approve of the woman Dauphina was rumored to be, or dressed to be...
But the idea of making the children of his country suffer more then they should, made him pause. Still, he was being swallowed by the memories of past misfortunes, past terrors. He began to grip his sword tightly on his hip, is spare hand turning into an extremely tight fist.
If he was going to reply to Dauphina, and her words, he didn't even have a chance. He had been wrapped up in his own thoughts as he could of sworn hands slide up his chest. He only snapped out of it when he heard it. The King before him and his disgusting cohorts began to chant. Dante was seeing red the same time they all turned blue and were sent to an island. Fuck. Fuck!
He was trembling, a hand now on his scarf as he watched Dog suddenly let out a concerned howl. It couldn't find Aries, and this was a new location. He looked around, the island was hostile. That much was fucking apparent. They couldn't make a raft out, either, most likely. He should tell from the fact it was called the 'Island of Curses', there was absolutely no escape until the King decided it. And he let his fucking dog come to die as well?! Bending down to lift up the poor thing, he glared at Akai. He could only manage a single, short phrase at the moment, eyeing what she sat on. "Get off the dog food."
If she didn't move quickly enough, he growled as he used his spare arm to grab her into standing, hauling up the dog food as he turned his back directly to the twins. His eyes narrowed on Akai as he tried to still his thoughts, his mind. "...We're going to set up camp. Now. There's no time to waste." He glanced at Faust and Dauphina. "For the record, had he given people a chance to change their minds, I would of. You two can either come with us, and we can build shelter and figure shit out, or stay here. I don't care either way. As long as I'm far away from the ten year-old brats who'll never hit puberty, I don't care. But a bigger camp is for the best."
He glanced around. There were coconut trees, and it looked as if they were placed in the more tranquil side of the island. "We're in a good position, by the sounds of everything." Dante's ears were far more trained to hear an enemy or a predator hiding within the mountains and snows of Aquarius, but he was trained none the less. He glanced at Anemone, Einosuke, Dauphina, Nuccole, Dauphina, Faust, and Akai as he began to speak. He still ignored the twins existence. "We should set up camp first, place duties on what's possible. For those who don't have weapons, we'll have to make some on the spot. It looks like this island has plenty of resources, however, so I have no doubt Akai and I can handle it if we need to travel further inland. Spear fishing will also be a good idea, for those who can handle it. For now? We need to find as much wood as possible. The palms of the coconut trees can work for decent covering if the island starts to rain, but we might want to consider investigating the caves when we're better prepared. Let alone the rest of the island." He finally stopped for a moment before looking at Akai.
"I'm sorry I got you into this, but we need to get started as soon as possible, and as quietly. Who knows if whatever in the forest has a taste for humans. As a result, I'm sorry you as well, Dauphina and Faust. I quite literally fucked all four of us." Dante frowned, setting down the dog and the dog food. "Worst comes to worst, dog food is edible and Dog will just have to share with us. But let's hope it just doesn't have to come to that."

Sure enough, the King was less than pleased. The disappointment could be clearly made out by the defined wrinkles among his face. All she wanted was to be in the arms of her lover once again. Dealing with royal business outside her own kingdom was her least favorite thing to do. It was never simple and easy. Everyone had too many opinions, and that was why they were in this situation in the first place. War-torn and disgruntled.
As Dauphina would explain, the next few seconds went frighteningly quick. Before she even had time to blink, she was suddenly enveloped in a bright blue light. When her eyes finally adjusted, she found herself on a secluded island in a place she had never seen or heard of before. What has happened? Where the hell is my carriage? Oh gods, what am I going to do without Touma? I haven't been able to... in days... I'm going to lose it. Her mind spiraled into a state of panic as her ears barely caught the words of the disembodied voice speaking to the group.
She seemed in a daze, standing there frozen, her scant attire being blown by the winds of the sea. The harsh voice of Dante pierced her ears as he addressed Akai. Could she hear some faint panic in his voice? She couldn't be sure, but anyone in their right mind would be panicked in this state of affairs. Once she realized that Akai had been transported with her, Dauphina quickly shuffled to the girl's side. Wrapping her arms around her for warmth and comfort. At this point, she couldn't care less if Akai didn't appreciate the physical contact. It was something Dauphina desperately needed at the moment. As she listened to Dante, she couldn't help but be surprised. Did the man just apologize to me?
A smile crept over her face as she appreciated the acknowledgment of his wrongdoing. "Thank you Dante, I appreciate your kindness and authority at this moment. If I may offer, I am very well trained in harvesting the bounties of the sea and would be very much willing to take over a position regarding that. I must admit, I am not in possession of a weapon. I should not need a weapon to deal with the fish, however. Perhaps in the future for protection." She cradled her cat-eared friend as she spoke, her voice full of confidence.

As the Sovereign of Sagittarius turned to smile Eino could only feel his heart sinking deeper into his proverbial ocean of despair. Why had she looked at him so thoughtlessly; as though she had no soul within her vacant eyes. Her hand slammed down onto the table and so began her passionate speech.
Her words were not directly slated at him, but he knew what it meant. She did not wish to complete the ritual, but more importantly he would not bring the peace his kingdom wished to have.
Keeping his face neutral he let her finish, but the moment she called the a to bear arms he opened to his mouth to retort.
“Sovereign Anemone surely we can —,“ he tried to say but was abruptly cut off by the authoritative voice of the King. Eino snapped his mouth shut and listened; the wave of irritation burning at the edge of his vision.
As the man spoke Eino kept his eyes focused on the green haired ruler before him. Perhaps they were on opposing sides of the war, but they themselves never had any true grievances with one another. It would only be a simple matter of trying to talk some sense into the woman.
“…You as Rulers are responsible of your land and people. If you are willing to destroy it, you do not deserve to have a land to rule!”
Eino felt safe in his chair knowing he was willing to complete the ritual, it was the other who had qualms with the situation. Maybe the island would do her some good maybe it would — but as his thoughts drifted to his own safety a brilliant blue light began to engulf him.
He was on the island.
Surrounding him were the other rulers who had made their disapproval known, along with a dog? A voice called out to another to get off the dog food to which Eino could only stare. His body felt cold and he could only stay silent as the man who had an angry outburst earlier apologized and took charge of their situation.
Eino said nothing, but let his gaze travel until he met with the woman who he knew was responsible for his being on the island.
“I hope it was worth it,” his tone was even but the anger he felt could not be concealed. “If we do not get off this island your people will suffer because of your actions.”
Slowly, she was becoming someone he was learning to hate.
He turned around as he could not bear to look at her. The sight of her being disgusted him. How selfish must one be to refuse an opportunity to right a century full of wrong, so they could conquer the world themselves?
His anger simmered down and with it despondency took its place.
Far away from his kingdom, his sisters, and the oppression of his role as ruler, Eino couldn’t help but feel as though the island is where he was always meant to end up. A place where hopelessness lived within the sea, and in the forest were creatures that wished to end him. He had tried his best before, but it appeared never to be enough.
Would it truly be so bad to die?

TOUMA
Even from within the carriage Touma could hear the voice of the King resonating throughout he barren land. He spoke with a harshness that made him shudder in fear, and worry for his love. Of course he knew Dauphina was a strong woman, one of the many reasons why he fell in love with her, but even with that knowledge Touma felt as though he should be by her side; even if it were just to comfort him.
As the speech continued however Touma’s legs twitched to go run to his love, and as the King finally declared that people who would destroy their own land do not have the right to rule it he did exactly that.
The chanting seemed ominous to Touma, but he paid no mind to the sounds as he watched with ever growing horror a light beginning to surround Dauphina. He ran faster with his right arm outstretched to reach her, but before he could even step foot on the grassy land he fell to the ground haplessly and watched as she disappeared before him.
He screamed a deafening shriek, his face contorted into something monstrous as he cursed out the land that barred him from his love. Touma had no care what the other rulers thought of his appearance as the only thing he could focus on was the empty seat where his love sat moments before.
“Dauphina. . . please, come back . . . I cannot live without you.” He sounded broken and his voice cracked as he finished his thought, “I-I don’t know how I did before.”

Nuocolo gazed at the Gemini twins under his brows; those two younglings were supposed to be partnered with him? They had no respect for his ways, and he had no respect for them. He knew that he probably would be forced to do something about them. He had no incentive starting to play nice about them nor would he be pressed under should they demand something. Nuocolo wondered what was the reason he was paired with them. He would certainly have to ask the King if he got a chance. And he sure would get a chance.
As Nadya spoke to him directly, Nuocolo quickly stood up, but ordered Giovio to remain seated. He waited until Nadya had addressed the Kimg.
”Lady Nadya,” began Nuocolo, clearing his throat ever so slightly. ”I beg your pardon, but it is you who destined Chamaelon to this state, it was YOU who forced me and my people to abandon our old Alliance! Nuocolo could say no more as the King’s voice silenced him.
Nuocolo listened to what the King wished to say, yet, he thought, the King was wrong. He most certainly had to be. Were the Gem not stolen or destroyed 700 years back, where was it then? Legends told that it was large, not easily carried away by the veils of night. He slowly began having doubts of himself. Just perhaps the King or the other rulers were honest for once and none had anything to do with it. But, there was a more grim future in that case to come: if the location of the Gem was forgotten in the dust of time, could it be found in time?
Before Nuocolo could break the silence after the King had finished his speech, which had mostly made Nuocolo angry, albeit Nuocolo felt there could be some truth in it, he saw a sight which made him and Giovio very uneasy: chanting which made verything about them tremble. Nuocolo instinctly grabbed the hilt of his sword and was ready to draw it along with Giovio, when he saw himself standing on a beach, covered by sand so white as if it was made of ground bones with some glitter like gold. It reminded Nuocolo of the Northern Bone Wastes. But North it certainly wasn’t: the air was moist and hot. The King’s words still lingered about the rulers, who were standing beside Nuocolo. Giovio was nowhere to be seen, even if he had sut there mere a few blinks of an eye ago.
Nuocolo drew his sword from its sheath, it’s blade was well crafted and its hilt was decorated with sturdy wesend leather. The old man held his sword aloft and yelled: ”Why did you bring us here?! Take us back this instant!” Even if he knew why this was, he still could not accept it. He had never been treated like this by someone who claimed not being his enemy. Still holding onto his sword he glimpsed at the other rulers who shared his faith. He could trust to none of them, yet the King’s words demanded just that. He removed his cloak and sat down in the sand. He would have have to think. Hos eyes were still flaming and his face looked as if he could chop down trees (or men) with a few swings of the sword should someone say a wrong word.
Faust Capricorn
Ruler of Capricorn | dialogue : #E82E55 | thought : #8D757A
And it would appear that the King would enact a punishment fitting of their negligence, as in heartbeat the scenery of the table, piled high with food and surrounded by rulers, was quickly replaced with a less welcoming landscape. The others who surrounded her were those who had outright refused, reluctantly or not, to do the ritual, and their unfortunate counterparts. For a moment voices spoke, shining some light on their situation, until they could no longer be heard, leaving the nine of them to their own devices.
Faust wasn't worried about how her kingdom would fair without her. No, the kingdom would be more than fine in the hands of the Council. In fact, she was more worried about being stranded on an island with people who, previously, would rather see them all destroyed than to preform a simple ritual that would save all their kingdoms, and she certainly didn't doubt that they would kill one another even if it meant that they'd all be left to rot on the island. There wasn't hope for cooperation among people like that, and she was a little wary of their intentions.
Shio was the first to speak, and Faust sighed in response, "If you want to make it up to me, it would do us all a favor if you refrained from getting yourself mauled by whatever beasts here that are eager to rip you apart." Dante seemed to quickly take charge of the situation, which was surprising after he almost guaranteed the destruction of all their kingdoms with his outburst earlier, but Faust wasn't in the mood to be petty, nor was she in the mood to die on this waste of an island. He apologized and that'd have to be enough for now. "I don't imagine that monsters are all this island has to offer, and if there's enough supplies to be found in order to make bows and arrows, even rudimentary ones at best, then I could help in hunting game."
The others seemed as pissed as Faust expected them to be, especially the Ruler of Cancer, who just sat there stewing in his own irritation. Hopefully he wouldn't cause any more problems for them when they were just starting to work together, or even worse, get himself killed.
However, what was not expected was the chanting that began to fill the small space, nor the blue light that enveloped several rulers, including Faust, before they all vanished. As if they were never there.
Soon after, Laurenz had returned to their carriage. "Excuse me, dear Iuliana, maybe it's just the overbearing heat playing tricks on my mind, but I do believe I just witnessed our ruler disappear."
"Well, I think we best send a message to Aurora since it seems she'll be in charge of things for a while."

And then, Aries flipped a knife from his sleeve and sent it sailing over his shoulder at the guardian of Aries' land. "Wha-...!" The incoherent exclamation was barely out of Kaveh's lips - was he trying to warn the guardian? or just surprised? - when the guardian batted away the knife as if it were a fly. Kaveh glanced away, back down at the parchment detailing the ritual. He wasn't reading it though, merely wondering whether he might expect the same treatment as the guardian. Certainly, Kaveh would not be nearly as fast in dodging or defending himself against such an attack.
Thoughts on the topic on Aries stabbing were soon put to rest. Perhaps it was a spark of naivete that left Kaveh unprepared for what came next, or perhaps he'd merely not been paying enough attention. He heard the anger in the King's voice, the chanting, and then, without a chance to make a further sound, his best friend had vanished from his side. Kaveh's lips parted, his body leaning towards Eino's empty seat, as if proximity might bring his pen pal back. Alas, it would not.
"Where have they gone?" Kaveh asked, hoping the 'Island of Curses' wasn't as ominous as it sounded, though severally doubting his hopes would be fulfilled. He glanced around the table, surprised that of all those who had been seated around it seconds ago, only five of them remained.
As for his wish, Kaveh knew without having to consider for more than a second what he wished his reward to be. He stood and bowed shallowly to the king, his tone more serious than usual - certainly, had one of his official advisers heard him, they might have been shocked that Kaveh could be this serious. "Your majesty, my only wish is that you give Einosuke whatever protection is within your power."
He resettled in his seat, hoping to quell the slight shaking of his hands. He was worried for Eino, despite knowing that his friend was more than capable in taking care of himself. Kaveh took a steadying breath, attempting to push dark thoughts aside. No, he had his own job to do. He would attend to the ritual as best he could with his usual air of enjoyment. Regaining his feet, Kaveh glanced around at those still seated - Nadya, Jamarreon, Sanctuary - before his gaze fell across the table to Aries,
"Aries-... Lord Aries, I don't see any reason to delay. If you would like, we could accompany each other across Chamaeleon and discuss how we might go about these rituals."
Even as Kaveh spoke he felt his stomach speak up in argument. He shuffled on the spot, came to a quick decision and reached out to grab the nearest edible item, "That is, unless you care to stay longer for refreshments..." He added before biting into the fruit he'd grabbed. Eyeing up a glass of wine, Kaveh thought perhaps a single drink might also help to ease his nerves regarding Eino's disappearance too. Just one drink..
She watched as the remaining rulers made themselves heard. Any good from Aries' agreement seemingly dashed as he flung a knife at his guardian. Typical. Dauphina's words filled Nadya with pride. Her friend was strong, and proved as much with her eloquent speech. Nadya had no doubt that Dauphina was more than a match for a brute such as Dante. Though she wished her neighbour had been given a kinder counterpart, she had no fear that Dauphina would make it work to her advantage. And if worse came to worse, Nadya would not hesitate to use the force of her kingdom to come down on anyone who attempted to hurt her friend.
It seemed, however, that the King was first in line to punish those with dissenting opinions. Anemone's passionate speech was the last she heard before the King's ringing voice and the chanting of the guardians filled the air. Those who had disagreed and their counterparts were banished to an island of curses, the ominous name no doubt promising dark dangers. It was a stunning turn of events, and one which Nadya had not expected. She did not believe that all those who had been sent to exile deserved it; Dauphina and Faust had been quite happy to work for the betterment of their kingdoms, as had the ruler of Scorpio.
Unlike the obvious emotion of the youngest at the table, Kaveh Mehrzan, Nadya kept her expression calm. She felt no loss at the disappearance of her enemies, though she couldn't help but count how many of her allies remained at the table now. One; Jamar. Apparently, agreement to the ritual, even with the promise of later war, was enough to save him from the Island of curses. At least he would be useful if a fight quickly arose... though she was sure the guardians would stop any battle during the meeting. As she contemplated her next move, Nadya wondered how far their protection reached.
Libra's ruler spoke up, first in direction to the King, and then to Aries. Nadya let him finish before shifting to her feet and turning to the king herself. "My wish, your grace, is merely for protection within some of the more... barbaric lands," there was barely a flicker of her gaze towards Aries as she spoke, while her voice remained steady, "And an answer to my question; if I must travel to a majority of the kingdoms to fulfil my ritual, how do you propose I accomplish this when the majority of the kingdoms' rulers are at best exiled, at worst deceased due to your actions?"
Nadya supposed she would have to visit her own Kingdom and the kingdom's of the four rulers present first, hoping that some action would save the other rulers in time to let her complete her ritual. She had faith in the strength of her allies, they would be back soon.
- Bright eyes widened as she listened to the King silenced everyone and their rambling, arguments, and whatever else one could call the conversations that happened. In general, one could call this a clusterfuck and a majority would be grounded by the end of it... She had given Dauphina a nod of solidarity at her defense for herself, and Aries a look of horror.
Still, when the King's voice boomed, and those who had rejected the ritual and their unfortunate partners began to glow blue, Sanctuary felt her heart sink into the pits of her stomach. Her eyes darted wildly person to person, mouth coming somewhat ajar. Before she knew it, Dante and Dauphina were gone, as well as Cancer, Gemini, Capricorn, Eino, and Sagittarius... And the King's words didn't make her feel any more at ease about the situation, either. The fact that after all he just did and witnessed, he could still look back at the remaining rulers and smile... Unsettled her.
He truly would allow them wishes? Was he some sort of old fairy from another land? Or had the Cosmos itself just granted him the ability to preform such unusual tasks? Swallowed hard, she thought for a moment as she looked to where Dante's dog once was. Was it gone as well? Sanctuary's heart began to throb in pain as she looked towards Touma, a hand quickly placed over her mouth. A lover distraught, Aery could only wonder if her own would of been so broken up about this had she disappeared for an undetermined amount of time. Were they not suppose to complete this all in a limited time frame? Wouldn't sending them away distract from the deadline at hand?
Kaveh was the first to ask for his wish, to protect Eino. The black haired girl felt some sort of relief. While it wasn't for Dauphina or the dog, it at least took one worry off her chest.
The Next was Nadya, and her desire for protection. Aery felt herself glance at Aries as well, but she shook it off just a quickly. While there was quite a few things she didn't approve of, she wasn't in a position to judge anyone from his country.
The Virian beauty paused for a moment, hand with a faint tremble as she sipped the last of her wine before putting it down. "D..depending on the extent of your abilities, King, but perhaps you can... Protect the dog and those willing to learn from their mistakes. If a ruler is capable of showing the ability of learning and growing on the island, then maybe they deserve another chance. If they don't..." Her voice trailed. She at least knew Scorpio and Pisces would most likely be able to cooperate and help each other, and if not each other, others in general. That was the hope, anyway.
"...To be more precise, perhaps.. Trickery? Make them believe they'll truly die but watch over our friends. Some of them do not deserve to be there, surely." She pleaded softly. She glanced at the carriage where Dauphina resided, standing as she went to the man who wailed in heartbreak. Aery wasn't exactly one who knew how to deal with this sort of pain, honestly, but it didn't mean she's never try.
Hushly, she gently bent down next to the man, eyes with worry for his well being. "I am sure Dauphina will be fine, sir. One must have faith, and regardless, she is with friends at the very least." She hoped, anyway. But Gemini and Dauphina were on the same side, as well as Sagittarius. In the end, Aery did have doubt though, and it shook her to her core. She didn't wish anything for herself, or her people. Would that be alright?
In the end, she was worried for those like Dauphina that ended up stuck. Akai and her... As well as Einosuke. The dog, however, also seemed to be a causality as well. She raised to stare at the king, now standing at the boarders of grass and sand as she looked towards the Ruler among Rulers with desperation.

Cedric grew restless as the rulers began to dispute each other as partners. This, was lead off thanks to his idiot of a sister, causing his restlessness to vocalize, "Cellica.... Just stop...." He muttered to her, sensing the heat of her passionate words, even if she weren't looking at him. As she continued her tirade, Cedric spoke one more, repeating himself in hopes it'd help. However, one comment stuck out:
"...when yours makes you just a few wrinkles short of an old perverted man."
Those words hung for a mere moment, before Cedric could hear a response, however, Cellica wouldn't hear it. As Cedric shot from his chair, hand sparking from the electric charge as he snapped to his Sister, "That is enough, Cellica!!" His words, were loud and fierce much like his father, whom slowly walked towards the tables, ready to come stop his daughter. As Cedric's words were leaving his breath, his grip took up Cellica's left arm, clamping it hard, and discharging the electricity through the arm, a loud and short scream came from Cellica, as she felt the electricity rocket through her arm, and the grip on the injury she's had for years. Falling into her chair from the pain, the Twin wormed herself free from his grip, in obvious pain. Cedric turned to the other rulers, "My apologies, your highness, for my sister's outburst." His words were far more formal than Cellica's, as he turned to the others, "On behalf of my sister, I apologize for her actions and words today. As they were unwarranted." Soon, he sat back down, listening to the King once more.
However, the twins felt something, an unsettling feeling that only came once before. That day, as they got that unnerving feeling, the war between Chameleon and Ophia broke out. It had rest on the Twins' minds heavily, as soon the two were soon blinded by light. As their senses recovered, they were no longer sitting at the table, with their father nearby. The island of Curses, as the two looked around, they noticed Dante, Dauphina, Nuocolo, Anemone, Faust, Eino, and Akai with them. As Cedric looked, he could hear the rumble of something in the forest, he gripped the two swords of his Esper wings, as Cellica looked to the rest, hearing these words,
“You have been transferred to Island of Curses in order for you to work together and solve your problems. This is not a relaxing holiday as the forests are inhabited by the worst creatures that walk on this land. If you wish to stay alive, you can not go wander alone. Have someone to watch your back, share your resources, work together for safety. And if you do not? If even one of you faces their death in here? Then we fear none of you ever steps their foot outside of this island again.”
With those words disappearing like the swift wind, Cellica turned to the rest, taking out her spare knife, thumbing the blade gently as to check the edge, before walking to Dauphina, "Dauphina, here." With those words, Cellica held the knife to her friend, "I'm sorry, it's not much, but every little bit helps." As Cellica did that, it was obvious she ignored everything Dante had said, though, Cedric hadn't. As he looked at Dante, speaking with reason,
"Look, Dante. I know Cellica is an idiot. But right now, we're not in a position to have a petty squabble. We need to survive, or, our lands will be in more danger than the war could produce." Cedric wasn't trying to start a fight, as he looked to the others, "Even if it's forced, we need to get along for more than five minutes. Unless, of course, the idea of dying on a rock in the middle of nowhere is pleasing to you." It was apparent, Cedric was a better leader of the twins, as he acted on more on reason and logic. Though Cellica cut in,
"I'm going to fly up, see if I can scout out anything for some shelter, along with a steady supply of food and water, let alone act as eyes in the sky for any game. Stay in the open, and if possible, make a fire, smoke rises well into the air and should be easy to see for anyone far away..." Her words weren't as strong as Cedric's, as the weight of her words crashed around in her head, much like the seas that surrounded the group. Especially what she said to Dauphina, she said it without thinking, and thus, felt the need to amend. As her wings had spread, a gust of wind had swept under them, sending Cellica high into the skies once more. With Cellica in the sky, Cedric remained on the ground, his fingers still tingling from his outburst earlier. Even still, he was to do what he could to ensure everyone survived.

Anemone kept her head on a swivel all throughout the disembodied voice's speech, shifting her glance from other rulers to their surroundings. Soon enough the speech ended, only to be immediately followed by the screams of one demanding answers. Anemone watched as Nuocolo brandished his blade in a fit of anger, only to lower himself onto the ground. Whether it be in defeat or in frustration, she knew not. Sheathing her blade, she glanced at the other rulers in turn. All of them all connected to or are the ones who decided against the ritual.
“I hope it was worth it. If we do not get off this island your people will suffer because of your actions.”
Anemone bit her lower lip, unable to make a retort to Eino. She understood that he was right. While she did hold her convictions, her being stuck on this island without any idea where she was did pose an issue. Soon enough, Dante was barking orders around, taking charge of their merry little band of castaways. Much to Anemone's surprised, Dauphina and Faust seemed to be fine with such a development, despite him being an enemy to their cause.
"With all due respect, who died and made you the leader?" Anemone said, crossing her arms. "Not that I am against helping given our situation, I myself am proficient enough in hunting game and even preparing it to consume. However... Dauphina, Faust, need I remind you that he's an enemy? I understand that these are dire circumstances with which we find ourselves, but I feel as though you two are much too ready to follow under this... person."
Anemone pressed a finger to her forehead, making a pained face. But all the same, she drew her blade once more to inspect it's edge. "In any case. If it's food we need, cooking or hunting. I can manage. But I'll only work so long as the members of our side are paired with another ally, at the least. So that none of you get any ideas of pulling the wool over our eyes."

He breathed out after his rant, almost closing his eyes. He glanced around at those remaining at the table, and felt his anger awaken once more- this time he calmed himself. They were not school children. He did not care if he was sent to the island of curses along with the rest from his outburst. All Jamarreon could do was hope that the king realized this was all futile.
"If not, all I wish for is my people, or all people, to not be harmed by the destruction of the gems," Jamarreon indicated the land around him, his voice grew more tired- "and if not that, I have no wishes for you, my King."

“As stated before I cannot offer protection from mundanes, however” The King waved towards the Guardians who nodded. “The Guardians can. And I can offer the protection from the creatures of the Island.. So consider your wishes granted, Kaveh Mehrzan and Nadya Irne. Sanctuary Virgo, your wish to protect the dog is also granted.” The Guardian of Ophiuchus handed five amulets to Nadya. “These amulets will protect the people of your choice as long as they are worn. And to answer your another question Nadya Irne, I hope they will be back in two weeks. Thus you can easily start with those around the table, and not having to wait for too long. And who knows, they might even come back earlier.”
His gaze grew darker as he faced Jamarreon. “It seems you do not fully understand the situation in hand. I do understand where you come from, however the Life energy of this land is connected to the Gems. It is impossible to destroy the Gems and keep this land alive. It is also impossible to eternally strengthen your Gem. Once it has reached it full limit, it won’t gain any more strength. However,” he looked at both Aries and Jamarreon. “Mark my words as I keep you two under my watchful eye. It might just be that you are next to find yourselves in the Island with another exercise of trust.”
On the Island, next to Einosuke the ground started glowing in blue light. After few seconds there was full body armor, sword and shield, an amulet and a note. The note simply stated “To Einosuke Saitou. From Kaveh Mehrzan”. Similarly next to Dog appeared a collar with the amulet in tag and a light metal plated dog armor, with a note “From Sanctuary Virgo to Dog.”
- Dante felt his head throb as he listened to everyone and took in the situation. Only two people fully accepted the fact they would be stuck here for potentially quite a bit, which meant every little bit helped. He took his time addressing people as they spoke up, hand running through his own white locks. Part of him had the sudden urge to tug it all out.
Perhaps in the future for protection."
Dante nodded his head, taking in what she had to say. "Right. What would you prefer to have in your possession to fish then? I'm sure we can figure out some way to make a net or whatever you need. Weapons are definitely third priority next to building shelter and a fire. Quite a few of us brought our weapons, so it shouldn't be too bad for the time being." He agreed, offering his assistance where he could. Gold eyes glanced at the dejected and emotionless Prince of Scorpio. Before moving onto the next, he took note of everything he could of the male... He wondered if he could even offer something to the survival situation.
Why did you bring us here?! Take us back this instant!" His attention shifted to Nuocolo. Was he having some sort of mental break at the idea of this? Dante couldn't blame him, and simply decided to leave him to his own devices. The look on his face seemed to mimic Dante's at the table before hand, and he knew better then to try and speak to quell such rage.
Faust spoke next, and even she was seemingly on board for now with some sort of game plan being formed. He was relieved to say the least, despite nothing showing on his face. "I don't imagine that monsters are all this island has to offer, and if there's enough supplies to be found in order to make bows and arrows, even rudimentary ones at best, then I could help in hunting game."
"We can definitely see what we can do. It shouldn't be too hard, at least. Just need sturdy things. If worse comes to worse, we can make it out of the monsters." He joked. "Anything else you might be interested in?" Dante's tone wasn't authoritative anymore. He wasn't a ruler, but someone from the military trying to figure out the best course of action. Right now, that was getting everything everyone might need sorted and figured out.
He barely paid any attention to Cellica and what she was doing, looking out towards the palm trees and forest. He remembered how to make a more primitive axe from his days of survival, but it would take time. Dante rubbed his neck, under the scarf that somewhat revealed the misshapen looking flesh covered stump. Jacket removed and used to tie around his waist, he sighed. "I can most likely make more primitive tools. I remember how to from when I was younger and taught in the military as a lad." Dante commented, though to no one in particular.
"Look, Dante. I know Cellica is an idiot. But right now, we're not in a position to have a petty squabble. We need to survive, or, our lands will be in more danger than the war could produce. Even if it's forced, we need to get along for more than five minutes. Unless, of course, the idea of dying on a rock in the middle of nowhere is pleasing to you."
Dante stopped, at that, and slowly turned around with a bland scowl. "Have you not heard a single word being discussed? We are trying to survive. It'd be more helpful if you spoke up what you could do, rather then continue to dwell on things that have already transpired. We can get to that when were rescued, but do you really think any ships would come to an island we were just stranded at? This is a punishment, not something to be rescued from." He pointed out. "In the end, we're moving forward. It's better off to build shelter and hunt for our food where we can. The beach is the safest bet until we grow accustomed and can handle going out into the forests or anything else that might be here. While most of us have training experience, and have lived in the worst and most grotesque conditions, others have not. We need to make sure we're prepared before venturing anywhere else, or arguing. What your sister said, however, will never be excused. You should truly muzzle her, for if I were a weaker man, you might have made me break with such a small trigger." Finally, Dante took a moment to call himself again, shaking his head. Perhaps what he said wouldn't make sense, but it didn't matter. With a wave of his hand, he dismissed the current topic of discussion again and moved on.
"What skill set will you offer? It seems like we have a large enough hunting party, if we find the proper materials for the weapons we'll need." He found himself finally turning to Anemone with a quirked eyebrow. He listened quietly, allowing her to speak in peace.
"With all due respect, who died and made you the leader?" Anemone said, crossing her arms. "Not that I am against helping given our situation, I myself am proficient enough in hunting game and even preparing it to consume. However... Dauphina, Faust, need I remind you that he's an enemy? I understand that these are dire circumstances with which we find ourselves, but I feel as though you two are much too ready to follow under this... person."
When she placed her fingers the bridge of her nose, he almost scoffed at what she said next... But controlled himself. "In any case. If it's food we need, cooking or hunting. I can manage. But I'll only work so long as the members of our side are paired with another ally, at the least. So that none of you get any ideas of pulling the wool over our eyes."
He paused, at that. "Yes. That was.. Quite respectful. Unfortunately, I'm willing to abandon my title as a ruler for Aquarius. I'm no more than an orphan who had grown up stranded without food or shelter at the moment. But an orphan who has severe military training and rose through the ranks. I could care less if you are so concerned that I'm an enemy. As far as I'm concerned, you're nearly as batshit as I am. But right now isn't the time to let your own social justice interfere with others like how it interfered with Scorpio's safety. You're assistance is greatly appreciated, and needed regardless of how you may feel towards me. Also, friendly reminder from the ruler side of me, that you allies outweigh us in numbers. If any of us are in trouble, it would be Cancer, Scorpio, Leo, and I. Between yourself, Capricorn, Pisces, and both Gemini twins, it hardly seems fair." He grimaced back at his group, before turning back to Anemone.
The male shrugged. "But ultimately, I'm not the boss of any of you. You can partner how you please, but Akai and I will be sticking close together, and my Dog will be as well. If you chose not to work, then I suppose we'll all be trapped here and your country will fall back into perfect ruin and all your hard work will be lost." He turned away, a glance back to the palm trees as he looked down to his sword.
It was strong, like any sword from Aquarius, but he wondered if it would do any good in at least starting to cut down some of the trees. "Should we forage for supplies first, to make what we need? Or explore further down the beaches and see where our territory ends and this island's begins? The edges of the forest should provide hopefully plenty of sticks and wood to begin with shelter without us going too far in."
And just like that, the floor began to glow once more, he had hoped they'd be sent home... But when the ground no longer glowed, but armor appeared next to his dog as well as a collar, he took it as a blessing. At least his beloved friend wouldn't end up slaughtered. Sighing, he shook his head before reading the note as he crouched to the wagging dog, climbing all over him for attention of some sort. Virgo was a kind soul, he'd make a note to help her at some point, or give her a gift in return... Something equal to the worth of the only thing he could truly say was a love that resembled something normal in his life. His best friend.

Akai barely had time to blink as Dante pulled her up and grabbed the dog food. As he started to talk and give orders Akai tried to focus on him. She didn’t care if others thought she would once again just follow Dante blindly but with this she could trust him. She knew enough of his past to know he’d be a great partner in survival situation. He was right about being in relatively safe spot. With her better hearing, she did agree the forest hold out creatures they didn't want to anger. Others might hear his words as angry and demanding but Akai could see the kindness behind those words. He wanted to keep them safe. Akai nodded at Dante’s apology. She wasn’t able to speak properly yet but she knew Dante didn’t need those words. She would talk to him properly later, maybe when they would go to gather resources.
Before she could reply she felt Dauphina’s arms around her. Surprisingly she didn’t mind that either. In her current situation she felt her friend caring and comforting her was just what she needed. Dante’s words getting her mind back in place and Dauphina’s hug letting her body relax. “Thanks Dauphina” she whispered.
As they talked about the weapons, Akai checked the secret pockets of her outfit and with one hand pulled out a sai, and with another one of her throwing knives. “It seems I have my weapons.” She talked slowly, still trying to calm herself down and focus on the matter on hand. “I guess I can give these to people without weapons to use as…. well knives.” She looked at the knife and was about to offer it to Dauphina but Cellica did it first so she hold it out for Faust. “If you want?” she was a bit hesitant but tried to work together.
Still feeling nervous, she touched the wedding ring on her neck. No one seemed to pay much attention to her which gave her time to think. She needed to calm down and stop feeling so weak. If they were in Leo or even in Aquarius, she would have known what to do but she wasn’t used to tropical countries. Fausts words were in her mind "If you want to make it up to me, it would do us all a favor if you refrained from getting yourself mauled by whatever beasts here that are eager to rip you apart." She wasn’t that weak. She could fight. She had to step up.
"Should we forage for supplies first, to make what we need? Or explore further down the beaches and see where our territory ends and this island's begins?” “I think,” her voice was still weak as she tried to get herself to be heard. “I think we should focus on supplies and shelter. We don’t know how long we will be here and how the weather gets. We can use vines and small trees to make traps, maybe catch rabbits or something. Tying vines and straws could work as nets. And if we find sharp rocks we can use those in spears or knives. ” she looked around the area. “I’d say we build shelter in somewhere between the palms, we can use palm leaves to cover up the shelter and it gives extra camouflage for us. I can, no I will take charge in the concealment. And I can do that to all of your clothes too if you want.”
Nuocolo glanced around the golden sands of the beach as well as the other leaders stranded there. By no means was his wrath away, but he knew that the King would not listen to him or the others; it was clear. He buried his negative feelings deep inside him, stood up and approached the others. He had sheathed his sword and kept his hands up to let the others to see them. He had no intent to make himself slaughtered by appearing armed and dangerous. He still had rather grim look in his eyes, but his words were more soothing, yet stark and still directed at the King should he be overlooking the conversation via some magical and unholy means.
“It certainly seems we are to remain here for a while”, he began, quickly darkening his tone though. “But does the high King not understand what he is doing? Should there be such a dire peril waiting before us, why would he waste precious time. Even I might now believe something is certainly awry in my lands: before my departure for the Council there were reports of failing crops, snow in the summer and other very harsh catastrofes besetting all about Litoria.” He turned to the Gemini twins. “You are very young for leaders, but still I was assigned to you. I do believe in greatness within, so I am willing to give you a chance to prove you are able to match your elders. But do not fail me, nor do not despise me for deeds I have done, for that is how my people has done for ages under guidance of the Sea Father, our Guardian and other lesser gods. This I ask of you, are you willing to cast your doubts aside for a moment and stand beside me on this cursed island and afterwards so that we save both our realms?” His eyes were stern but showed no sign of hate nor disdain.

"I don't see why we couldn't do both. We have enough people that we would be able to split ourselves into similarly sized groups; one could work on building shelter and gathering supplies, the other could go and survey the island for anything that could potentially be a point of interest. We'd cover more in a shorter time span, and no one would be venturing out by themselves. We could also split the groups in accordance to each other's skill sets to further expedite the process."
Faust paused as she looked out towards the island from their vantage point. Beyond the palm trees lied the forest, and beyond that were the rigged rocks of what where undeniably cliffs. She wasn't completely unfamiliar with the terrain, but even if she were it wouldn't be the easiest thing to traverse, especially with the slickness of the water making any especially elevated land dangerous. Hopefully, they would have no reason to go that far into the island, though the possibility was always there.
"However, that is only one suggestion. Ultimately, I'm up for whatever the majority of the group decides we would be better off doing, but I do hope that we decide quickly as the amount of daylight time that we have is quickly decreasing. I would hate for us to be free pickings for whatever beasts come out during the night." If anything, she was more concerned about how long this fragile alliance of theirs would last. They all seemed rather capable of surviving in the wild, with the exception of Scoprio, who she thought the least qualified person to be in this type of situation at the moment. Perhaps he would surprise her, but it wasn't an outcome she'd be willing to bet on.
