Personality: Syaoran’s biggest personality trait is his over-obsession with protecting others. It doesn’t matter who they are, he will gladly take the fall for them. This has, naturally, led him to be stuck in a variety of tricky situations. Aside from this, he is a somewhat hyper person. He is stubborn and somewhat hyper. He acts foolishly, even when he should be serious. This doesn’t mean he doesn’t feel sad at times. He does. Especially when he’s alone.

In fights, he has a tendency to admire and remark about others’ fighting styles. This is a trait he has been trying to break, as it often leads to his getting hit by an attack. However, he is very determined to be the strongest there is. If there’s anyone stronger, he is always ready to challenge them.

Age: 16

Appearance: Typically wearing a Fall colors, Syaoran appears moderately thin. However, underneath this veil he is quite muscular. He stands at about 5’8” and is of average weight. Due to his protective nature, he usually has cuts and bruises across his body, though these are often covered by his clothing. His hair is brown in color and his eyes are a hazel color (as in picture).

Fighting Style: “What, you expected me to only know one…? Pssh, don’t kid yourself.” Kenjutsu, Iaidō, Jōdō, Bōjutsu

History: Being born in the East to an English father and Asian mother meant that Syaoran didn’t fit in too well. Of course, his penchant for protecting others led him to on more than one occasion get beaten up. Of course, this fact never bothered Syaoran because he was more than happy to take the beating if it meant protecting others. However, his father was very much against this. In fact, it was his father’s idea to enroll him in some sort of martial art.

Due to his mother’s family line having been known around the small town to have a dojo in the ways of Bōjutsu, this was the first martial art Syaoran learned. By no means was he a natural. However, he wasn’t bad at it either, and his passion was something that couldn’t be beaten. After this, he became fascinated with learning more. So, he enrolled in a variety of other courses, including the art of kenjutsu. Of course, he was limited to the use of a bokken as to not bring harm to others.

From here on, he decided that he would become stronger than anyone else. That was his goal, and he didn’t feel the need to stop. Granted, running around the streets with a staff beating up on every bully he met didn’t earn him a good reputation like he thought it might. Quite the opposite, as he was now considered to be ‘scary’ to most of his classmates.

His dream of protecting others, however, never wavered. So, in order to get stronger, he’d have to find better opponents… and new strength. This was a feat accomplishable with Ki. Which didn’t work out exactly as he had planned…
