❊|Power|❊
Enhancement and Demotion | By enhancing and demoting certain abilities through wind, such as power, breath, and speed, she can tweak their qualities in useful ways. However the enhances and demotions prove to be minor. Useful, but minor.
Gas manipulation | Gale can separate and combine all types of gasses in the air in order to achieve various purposes. Though doing this requires an insane amount of concentration, to the point where she won't acknowledge the world around her.
Vacuums | She can also create small air vacuums, though they take tons of concentration to create and control. However vacuums are very hard to create and maintaining one for even a minute is enough to make her faint.
'Flying' | If she focuses enough, she can manipulate the air so that she can fly. She can also make others fly, though she cannot have two people flying at the same time. To be simple, that would end in disaster, no doubt about it.
Sound manipulation | Since sound is made up of vibrations in the air, Gale can amplify and silence sounds, but only to a certain extent. She cannot create them either; she can only do so much in her human form.
Emotion guessing | Disturbances in the wind can hint Gale toward a person's current emotion or state of mind. Though inaccurate guesses certainly aren't rare.
Hair Color ||
Gale's hair is best described as a pale brownish color that gleams in the starlight. It's usually described as a light color, but in winter it can be excused as a darker shade of brown.
Eye Color ||
A few shades darker than her hair, her eyes still stand in the brown color category. You'll notice that her eyes always seem to have a fierce look to them.
Height ||
She stands at 5'2 and weighs a healthy 115. (Keep in mind that she does not take kindly to height insults.)
Build ||
When it comes to build, Gale stands somewhere in between muscular and scrawny. She's not skinny enough to be considered slender, though she's not muscular enough to be considered brawny. Though if a side had to be chosen, she is more toward the muscular side.
Scars/Markings ||
Gale has little to no scars. The scars she does have are barely visible and prove to be irrelevant.
Weaponry ||
Her favorite weapons are her fists. Other than a pair of boxing gloves, she has a small switchblade that she's taken an odd liking to.
Some people say Gale gets her traits from her father. Her temper, her aggressive demeanor, and her lack of empathy in all people. And what does that do? Why, that pisses her off. A lot of things piss her off, actually. Petty insults. Pranks. When you're talking to her, keep in mind you're wandering in the midst of a mine field. You better watch your step unless you want to trigger an explosion. Now, Gale has different levels of anger. Depending on who you are, there are more or less mines in the field. If you're a normal human, chances are you can't have a conversation with Gale without pissing her off in the slightest--- at the very least. Now, if you're one of her fellow Titan reincarnation, then things are completely different. Now, no matter who you are, your words have a high chance of insulting or irritating Gale. But if you're her friend, or someone she considers valuable, the explosion will be reduced to but a slight disturbance. In most cases, it'll earn you a snarky remark, and that's about it.
Gale is easy to ignite. That much is clear. But it's also quite easy for her to irritate others. Sometimes it's not even on purpose. She just has a blunt way of saying things that tends to get on people's nerves. You see, Gale doesn't know what a white lie is. Even if she tries to sugar coat something, it ends up coming out wrong. She's never had a way with words. Not unless they're venomous, which she hates to admit, but that bothers her. Gale doesn't get angry on purpose. She doesn't hurt feelings on purpose. She'd rather be a comforting person; someone you can go to for advice or solace. And yet, she's the complete opposite of what she wants to be. And so, she lives with it. Gale focuses on the better things in her.
Gale can be quite funny when she wants to be. Witty remarks and tables full of laughter are a few things she's good at triggering, besides fights. Nothing is better than a good laugh. Especially when you're the one who spreads the joy. Though the humorous side of her isn't seen that often by normal humans, so even though Gale can be the epitome of fun and laughter, most still see her as her father. Temperamental and dangerous, with no good emotions whatsoever. It's a pity. If she actually liked humans, she'd share a few bar jokes with them. She has a lot of cocky remarks waiting to be released and no one to talk to. It's a bit lonely, being Gale. Maybe that's why she's always so mad? Oh, she's not always mad.
It's not like Gale is all bad. She does have a soft side... Though she hardly shows it. The only things she's ever around are humans, so it's only natural that she's so bitter. Her soft side is toward nature and nature alone. She loves animals, critters, and creatures of nature of all sorts. Trees are her base, the grass tickles her feet in a playful way. In nature she finds something that she doesn't find anywhere else, and that's love. Warmth. And the warmth is what brings out her soft side. It's why she'll do anything in order to protect Gaea and the creatures that humanity, the arrogant fools they are, have wronged. Gale has only one wish, and that is for the earth to breathe fresh air again. And if she has to help destroy the human race, then so be it. They don't deserve to live anyway.
Climbing || The more you climb, the higher you get. The higher you get, the more you can see. Nothing is better than a great view of Gaea.
Sleeping || Nothing beats a nice nap or two, that's for sure.
The Break Of Dawn || Gale has seen a lot of pretty sights, but the crack of dawn has always been the most mesmerizing to her.
Breathing || An odd thing to enjoy, she knows, but she can't help the fact that she gains great satisfaction when breathing in fresh air.
Flying || She only does this when she knows she's alone, and only for short periods of time, but wow, is it exhilarating!
Winning || An honest victory never fails to cheer Gale up.
Dancing || Dancing along to a catchy beat with the wind in your step has always been a wonderful thing.
❊| Strengths |❊
Emotion Guessing || Gale can guess people's emotions through the very subtle moves and motions they make. She can sense them through the wind.
Determination || When she sets her mind to something, she does not hesitate to pursue. Gale has a very determined mind set that allows no slacking when achieving her goals.
Loyalty || Gale is loyal to a fault. She's extremely trustworthy and will do whatever she can to stay true to her word. Turning her back on friends is an unspeakable act, and rest assured if you wrong her you have no chances of redemption.
Speedy || Speed is in the bag when it comes to Gale Pepperman. She can even increase her speed if she feels the need, thanks to the wind. But the changes are usually minor.
Endurance || Gale can run for miles or fight for days without so much as breaking a sweat.
Fire || Small fires she doesn't mind. It's big fires that unnerve her.
Pessimists || No one ruins the mood like a pessimist. Don't they know how to look on the bright side?
Humans || Gale hates humans. They oppress. They are an arrogant race. Life is a luxury they do not deserve.
Cold weather || Cold weather means bundling up. Nothing is more uncomfortable than wearing seven layers of uncomfortable pieces of clothing every single day for three months straight.
Losing || Nothing is more embarrassing as losing a fight...
Loud Noises || Loud noises are very annoying. She avoids them whenever she can.
Being Called Her Father || Nothing irks her more than being accused of acting like him.
❊| Weaknesses |❊
Irritable || Despite her optimistic attitude, Gale has always been a flame easy to ignite. Angering her is no hard task. In fact, it's quite easy.
Aggressive || Gale can be quite an aggressive person. She lets her temper get the best of her, and doesn't hesitate to spit crude insults at those who anger her. If she never liked you in the first place, then there's a good chance she'll punch you in the face if she gets the chance.
Blunt || Sometimes Gale can say the wrong things at the wrong time without even realizing it. She has a rather blunt way of speaking which can come off as insensitive and rather rude.
Impulsive || Gale has never been one to think things through. More often than not she'll go racing into a situation without a second thought, doing nothing but setting herself up for disaster.
Restless || Gale is getting tired of waiting for action. She wants to do something. Anything. She's bored.
Over confident || Sometimes Gale convinces herself that she's invincible, when she is far from it.
❊| Fears |❊
Fire || Large fires, mostly.
Being underground || Something about being underground is very unnerving for her. She can suppress the fear and go underground anyway, but she'll never feel safe.
The Dentist || Shhh. It's a secret.
Yelling. Yelling was the first sound Gale ever heard. Fighting. Spiteful cries and fights happening a few steps away from her cradle were the closest thing Gale had to comfort when she was a baby. Things aren't always that pretty when you're born into a divorced family. Gale has a mother and a father. They lived in a forest-y area in the state of Maryland. The father is a temperamental alcoholic who didn't know a thing about raising a child. The mother wasn't much better; a future drug addict whose best talent was telling lies. From the many fights she heard from when she was little, Gale concluded that she was the reason the fighting sparked. Something about a different father. The first few years or her life, that was all she heard about. If not from her dad to her mother, then from her dad to Gale. She spent the beginning of her life as a verbal punching bag, and after a while she got tired of it. She got angry.
That's when she told her mother. That's when she wouldn't talk to her father. Wouldn't speak to him. Wouldn't look at him. The mother tried pushing Gale in her father's direction, but it never worked. Her mother accepted it. Her father did not. He wouldn't stop, but Gale would ignore him. She'd open the window and let the sound of the wind calm her down. A few years past and the fighting got worse. Gale couldn't sleep, the screaming was so loud. What was it that time? Oh yes. Money. Something about money and a bar. This time mom was the one doing the screaming. More years passed, and it got worse, and worse, and worse. Gale distanced herself from her family. She pushed thoughts of them out of her head. She was busy. She was busy thinking about something else. She was having odd dreams. She dreamed of chaos, love, and warmth. She wondered what warmth actually felt like. Mom and dad were always too busy fighting to pay attention to their little mistake. Well, her mother's mistake. Their budding Gale.
That's when the whispers started. Whispers, she called them. Whispers of the wind. At the age of eleven she started sneaking out. She played with wildlife and listened to the whispers of the wind. The whispers became words, sentences, paragraphs, explanations. The dreams made sense. Everything started to become more clear. Soon, she controlled the wind. Gale felt the warmth that she so longed to feel. Not in her parents, not in humanity, but in the earth. In Gaea. Crius told Gale that humans lacked this warmth. That they weer horrible creatures. She wasn't sure. A days after, a very big fight broke out between Gale's parents. The door slammed. She never saw her father again. But she moved on. She was happier without him. She was able to sneak out much more now. So she thought about what Crius said, and she decided to investigate humans herself.
What she expected was warmth. She did not get warmth. What she first noticed was how bad the air was, compared to when she was high up, when she was alone with her wildlife friends. It was sick air. Something was wrong with it. It was polluted air. That was the first thing that angered Gale. But she still had faith. She met a few humans. Turns out her parents were well known in town. Without hesitation they shunned Gale. She was not a good kid. She couldn't have been, with those parents. Surely they didn't have a tainted point of view because of mere background? This made her angrier. But she still had faith in humanity. She was just talking to the wrong people. She talked to more people. They smoked, they laughed at the unfortunate, and broke hearts without care. Gale really started to wonder where that warmth was. She wasn't feeling it. But she set aside her feelings of doubt at the time. Why? Because she noticed a change in her mother. Not a good one, though. Gale was worried. Her mother started to smell of unsavory substances. Her mother's reliability faded and her carelessness grew. Her mother went downhill after Gale's father left.
Speaking of when he left, Gale's mother moved them both to New Orleans a few years after. She claimed it was to get a fresh start. A fresh start. Gale liked the sound of that. She started going to a new school. At her old school, she never talked. Maybe if she talked now she could get friends. Friends are warm, yes? But Gale didn't get friends. She got bullied. Her faith in humanity was waning. Perhaps Crius was right. Maybe humanity does not care. But Gale wasn't ready to give up just yet. It wasn't until she heard about hunting for sport that she lost her faith. Hunting for sport. That was... that was it, for Gale. At this point Gale was convinced that there was and never will be warmth or love in humanity. That they were fated to destroy all. To destroy their loving creator, and all the animals that sustain their life. Yes, that was it. It was on that day she vowed to destroy the human race. She would take the side of the Titans. Besides... The humans were bound to destroy themselves anyway.
