Mind/Memory Reading- Through eye contact, she can discern a person's current thoughts and with concentration, draw out their memories (whether they like it or not). By pulling out a memory she can influence them by reinforcing that memory/thought in their minds or suppressing it. It can manifest as having the memory haunt the person or simply helping them remember what they'd been forgetting.
Photographic/Tape Recorder Memory- As the Titaness of memory, she remembers everything and anything that she focuses on and even events in passing. For the first few hours after memorizing she can recall everything she has read or listened to, word for word, but afterwards it becomes slightly harder. To truly synthesize she still must sit down and comprehend the information she's learned.
Black Hair || Brown Eyes || 5'7" || Lean || Baseball Bat
She's neither pretty nor ugly, mostly just average with a skinny body. Hyun thinks of herself as blessed for having big, round eyes and skin that doesn't seem to burn no matter how long she spends in the sun (at the least it gets her mom off her case about turning too dark). Comparatively, her body's metabolism and her involvement in baseball has propelled her body toward lean, skinny legs and abs if she flexes hard enough. Similarly, her arms (though skinny) brandish hints of muscle that'll likely develop in the future. On the downside, her chest is pretty flat and given her preference for short hair, quite a few people mistake her for a boy whenever she dresses too masculine. Weapon-wise, she lacks combat training since she isn't very interested in fighting sports, preferring things like track, baseball, and basketball instead. For that reason the closest thing she would ever call a weapon is her wooden baseball bat that, while much heavier, hits harder and is more durable than the aluminum one she uses for competition.
Spontaneous || Quick-Thinking || Talkative || Impatient || Hedonistic || Independent
Who else wants to drag you out to the rain on a Saturday afternoon? Hyun. Who else would spend twenty dollars on a whim? Hyun Ji Park. Her mind operates at an unending, mile-a-minute pace, often thinking less about the consequences of something and more about the moment. She believes that the best experience is one that comes out of the back of one's mind or at the very least, it's the one that requires the least amount of planning. She loathes to put too much thought into big trips as it sucks the fun out of doing something. Plus, there's always the rush that comes from improvising or subsequent relief of drumming up a solution to a problem she hadn't thought of. Her friends describe her thought process as masochistic and inefficient due to the stress it causes both her and the people around her but she just doesn't seem to care a whole lot.
Procrastination comes a lot more naturally to her than pushing fun aside to do work and immediate gratification is just better. Waiting is a pain for her and given how quickly her brain runs through subjects she gets bored fairly easily. Contrary to what one might think of the Titaness of Memory she concentrates less on reliving old memories and more on making new ones. She covets these memories and consumes them like a child consumes candy, quickly and greedily. Often times it comes at the cost of her academic goals but she maintains that it's worth it if she can look back at her teenage years and enjoy them.
Outside of her chronic procrastination and hedonistic however, is someone who has the gift of gab. If there's someone beside her who looks bored or willing to talk Hyun will be quick to strike up a conversation. She enjoys the back and forth between others and wasting time over a drink or two, but make no mistake-she won't miss you if you decline. As her mother often comments, the relationships she maintains with people are shallow, based only similar classes, clubs, or proximity.

❊|History|❊
If life could be described in a single word, Mnemosyne's would be normal. She was born in a small town and lived there for two years before her parents moved and opened up a liquor store in a Seoul. She didn't have any siblings growing up and it wasn't until she entered middle school that her mother had two little boys within a year of each other (which to Hyun screamed "accident"). Before then, she spent her days playing basketball and her nights doing homework. She rarely saw her parents on weekdays and on the weekends she would be helping grab cigarettes and bottles for her parents. She felt content to give up her weekends in order to play on weekdays (not that she really had a choice) but once her younger brothers came into the scene she was frankly, resentful.
Suddenly they added "watch the boys" to her ever growing list of objectives and despite her family hiring more employees, they still expected her to work for them. Well, to that she would have said a big "hell no", had she decided to actually listen to her parents rather than sneak off and continue playing sports. She was good at them and there was no way that she would let her parents take that away from her! Obviously her parents found out about this and they argued back and forth until they could reach a compromise: she could continue playing sports if she took over watching her younger brothers full-time.
She's never questioned her affinity for memorization (chalking it up to Pavlovian conditioning (which tells you how much she actually knows about Pavlov)), but about a year ago she realized that she could hear people's thoughts and has since then, started practicing her ability. It's come quite in handy on the baseball field and for sneaking in and out of her house, but she isn't quite sure how she'll apply it come time for college exams.
