Felix typically places comfort above all else. Chance are if you bump into him on the street, he'll be wearing one of two outfits - Number one, an oversized jumper to hide his lanky frame, black skinny jeans and his signature tattered vans. Number two, an oversized graphic tee, those same black skinny jeans and vans, occasionally paired with a red flannel jacket. When forced to dress up nicely, Felix often opts for a plain black shirt, black pants and his old dress shoes his mother bought him when he was around 15 and can still just about squeeze his feet into. Felix has his left ear pierced but rarely wears an earring in it anymore, it's simply a relic of his edgier 14 year old days.

Felix is a pretty boy. No matter how hard he may dispute that fact, it's impossible to deny. His rather feminine appearance gives him a youthful look which doesn't help the constant teasing, with people always telling him he has a 'baby-face'. Felix's skin is unusually smooth for a boy of seventeen and he's never really struggled with spots, in fact, his face has almost always been entirely blemish free. His height almost seems wrong with a face like his, but alas, Felix is definitely a tall guy. Lanky, is the word most use, which Felix especially hates. The fact that he is so tall and slender is a cause for much insecurity in Felix's life, which is why he tends to hide his body behind baggy t-shirts and jumpers.

L I K E S
Felix has always loved art, as well as just about anything creative. He's also a massive fan of music preferring old classics or indie songs. Alice in wonderland was Felix's absolute favourite book as a child, and even now he still deeply enjoys sketching his own versions of the characters. In fact, Felix has always been an avid reader, there's just something about books, especially old books, that draws in Felix. Wilson is the family cat, and whilst to many it may seem like blasphemy, Felix has always preferred cats over dogs. Other favourites of Felix include piping hot coffee, gigs, thrillers and romance.

D I S L I K E S
Ironically, Felix hates cheaters quite possibly the most out of everything, although that may be something he needs to reconsider - due to his own wrongdoings. Not only that, but rudeness and cruelty are dislikes that Felix shares with just about everyone in the world. However Felix also harbours less broad dislikes, for example, he's always had a phobia of dogs ever since he was bitten as a child; speaking of getting bitten, anything vampire related is enough to make Felix roll his eyes in despair for the rest of his days. Other things that Felix dislikes include needles, apples, heavy metal music and rom-coms.

P E R S O N A L I T Y
Thoughtful | Insecure | Creative | Pessimistic

(i)
Felix has always been the kid who would rather make someone a gift than buy something thoughtless from the store. He's the guy who will happily give you whatever you may need but could never ask for anything in return. Sure, this makes him incredibly susceptible to being taken advantage of, but Felix just can never say no whenever a friend is in need. This was perhaps the one trait Autumn exploited the most about Felix, she knew all he really wanted was to look after everyone else, and so, knew that he could never turn her down. Many people in Felix's life have used this to their benefit but he still cannot find the strength to stop being so readily available to get hurt, why? Perhaps he doesn't think he's as important as everyone else, or perhaps he sees this as the one thing that makes people like him, and he really just doesn't want to be alone.

(ii)
Following on from the previous trait, we delve into one within the same vein - Felix's insecurity. Since childhood Felix has had a strong inferiority complex. You may believe growing up around such strong characters like his siblings and even Autumn would shape Felix to become more like them, but rather, it has pushed him into the shadows that their massive personalities cast. Mostly, Felix is insecure about his appearance, having been called scrawny since he can remember takes a toll on a person. The only thing that makes Felix feel better is covering up his body with baggy clothing - something that doesn't stop the teasing, but rather causes it to become about how his clothing always looks so slovenly. He knows that he should just ignore everyone and do whatever the hell he wants, but Felix just doesn't have the confidence. Not yet, anyway.

(iii)
Being creative runs in Felix's family. With his mother being a clothing designer, and his father a journalist, it was always just a given that Felix would inherit that same passion for creating something unique. The one thing Felix feels like Autumn genuinely loved about him, was the fact that he would always do little sketches of her, alone or with their friendship group, there was something about her that just drew Felix to Autumn. Perhaps it was rather narcissistic of her, but Autumn always wanted to be drawn by Felix, she even demanded he make her a portrait for her upcoming eighteenth birthday - a piece that is still sitting in the corner of Felix's room, destined to stay half completed. Since she died, Felix has felt that some of his creative has seemed to ebb away, maybe it's because he feels so down, or perhaps because Autumn was his muse for so long that he simply just does not know what to even draw anymore. He can't concentrate, whenever he puts pencil to paper the only thing that pops into his head is her face.

(iv)
Perhaps the least obvious trait of his, is Felix's sheer pessimism. Now it's not particularly based on those around him, or even life, but rather his sour view on himself casts such a shadow over Felix's life that it's hard for him to think positively about himself, his relationships or even his future. He has no shortage of encouragements for his friends and family, but when it comes to motivating himself, Felix finds that all he can think is 'I'm going to fail' or when talking to people, 'they hate me already'. Tying in with his insecurity, it seems to go hand-in-hand with his pessimism. This isn't something Felix would ever let show, however, and just like his insecurities, he tries to keep it under wraps. Which he probably does better with the pessimism than his insecurity, just because the latter is so obviously written all over his face whenever anyone speaks about his appearance.

F A M I L Y
Ayla Davenport (nee. Yilmaz) | Mother | 54 | Small time fashion designer
Felix has always had a strong connection with his mother. Like two kindred spirits, the pair just seem to understand each other - and while this is mostly good, it also means that Ayla always knows when somethings up with Felix, which makes lying to her all the more difficult. Out of both his parents, Felix is definitely closer with his mother.

Samuel Davenport | Father | 55 | Journalist for the local newspaper
While there's no doubt Felix admires his father for his drive and charisma, there's never been much of a father-son bond between them. Mutual respect, definitely, but their lack of closeness makes it hard for them to ever really connect.

Zehra Davenport | Sister | 13 | Student
Zehra is a very sweet girl, and Felix loves her dearly. While he's the elder sibling to both Zehra and Zachariah, he feels most protective over the former. There's something about Zehra's pure, loving nature that makes Felix want to shield her from the harsh reality of the outside world.

Zachariah Davenport | Brother | 15 | Student
Zach is like every annoying little brother, he's always teasing and getting on Felix's nerves but they will always love each other regardless. Although Felix is more protective over his sister, he probably has more in common with Zach who, like Felix, adores creative subjects, but he specialises more in music.

H I S T O R Y
Felix has never left Pennsylvania. Born and raised in Norwood, it's even rare for him to leave the confines of this little town - the only exception being when they travel to visit his paternal grandparents in Pittsburgh. Hell, even his parents were raised in Norwood where they became high school sweethearts, married, and eventually ended up raising their children.

Due to this, Felix has always been surrounded by the same groups of people, since kindergarten he's been friends with the majority of those he would count his 'core six' friends, and one he'd known all of his life. That someone being Autumn Pierce. Her mother and Felix's had met at a local pregnancy yoga class when they were both carrying Autumn and Felix, respectively. Becoming fast friends, the pair would always go for coffee or take baby classes together and that continued when the two babies were born.

It may seem like the pair were destined to be together, and in Autumn's eyes that was true. From the day she knew what love was, Autumn claimed she loved Felix. He, on the other hand, always thought of Autumn simply as his best friend. As kids, of course they had your typical fake weddings and loved to play house, but as they grew, Felix started to realise that Autumn genuinely had feelings for him - something that he didn't share. But how could he say no to his best friend of fifteen years?

Autumn always knew how to get Felix to do anything she wanted, whether it would get him into trouble or not. This, however, took a little more convincing than normal. Autumn claimed that they had to be together, that they were madly in love and that Felix just didn't understand their connection yet. Forever the people pleaser, on her sixteenth birthday, Autumn became Felix's girlfriend, and that she stayed until her death.

Now, that's not to say that just because they were dating the pair were happy. Perhaps Autumn was, for a while, but Felix always felt just a little uncomfortable whenever he had to introduce Autumn as his girlfriend. A few weeks before her death, Autumn and Felix began bickering - what about? He can hardly remember now, but he felt like she had picked up on just how unhappy he was in this forced relationship, which only made Autumn angry at him. She couldn't understand why Felix wouldn't want to be with her, in her eyes, Autumn was the perfect girlfriend.

Then, on the night of Autumn's apparent 'accident', Felix was at a party with a few of his friends. He got chatting to a pretty girl who said that she had just moved to Norwood - she fascinated Felix, having never really explored a relationship outside of his friendship group, he was immediately captivated by her smile and vast knowledge of the outside world. No one intended for it to happen, especially not Felix, but he found himself to be so attracted to this girl, in a way that he never could be attracted to Autumn. He just wanted to kiss her; and so he did. Big mistake.

Autumn had arrived at the party fifteen minutes earlier and had spent that time searching for her boyfriend. Unfortunately when she finally caught sight of him, he was locking lips with another girl. Even worse, that other girl turned out to be her new step-sister, Willow. She was beyond furious and through her tears managed to drag the boy outside to yell at him. After what felt like hours of her shouting and Felix incessantly apologising, Autumn hung her head and began walking off. Now usually Felix would have followed her, but something about the way she held herself as she turned her back on him made him think better of it. He'd hurt her enough, Felix thought, and so he decided to give her some space. When questioned by the police about that night, Felix conveniently forgot about the whole kissing incident and simply said that Autumn had arrived to the party upset before storming off.

T A L E N T S
Art || It's pretty obvious by now that Felix is a talented artist. His preferred style is usually simple sketches, but he has also dabbled in paintings, sculptures and collages.

Romance || Now, this isn't saying Felix is some kind of casanova, because quite frankly he's really not all that great at flirting. What he is great at, is romance - flowers, drawings, cute dates - you name it. Felix loves the idea of love, he just hasn't found it yet.

Swimming || As a child, Felix found a passion in swimming long before he fully realised how much he enjoyed creating. He was no professional, and rarely competed, but to this day Felix still loves the feeling of being completely submerged in the water, all noise being drowned out to a dull murmur.

W E A K N E S S E S
His Loved Ones || Felix would do anything for those he loves, which has often come at a cost to him. For that reason, it is possibly Felix's worst weakness.

Dogs || Being bitten as a toddler can really scar a person. Now Felix avoids dogs like the plague.

Lack Of Confidence || Clearly Felix lacks a lot of confidence. Something that in the long run may damage him since it makes it even harder for him to stand up to people.

The investigation is underway and today is the day each of the six friends will be questioned. School is commencing as usual, therefore the six will be individually interviewed starting from 4pm. The police and school want to provide a sense of normalcy for the students, and so thought it crucial not to interrupt their school day. Little do they know that another, mysterious, figure has other plans for the six. In a small room, with curtains drawn and lit only by the light of a singular desk lamp that has begun flickering, showing it's age, a person sits, phone in hand as they write out a series of texts.

Mass Text
To: Felix, Willow, Winston, Veronika, Angelina, Noah, Alice, Carissa, Dashiel, Kara

I know what you did.
Autumn.

The number is blocked and the teens have no way of tracing it, all they can do now is hope and pray that they don't get any more of these cryptic messages from a dead girl.

If only it were that simple.

Veronika stretched her leg out across the bench and reached forward to her toes. She could feel the slight pull in her thigh before she eased back up and rolled down again. It had been a long morning, she mused as she pulled off her second boot. Triple salchow after triple salchow. She landed the last one awkwardly, skidding along the ice. Her fingers were red from the surface water and she could feel a bruise beginning to bloom on her thigh.

She threw her boots into her bag and slid the band from her hair. She shook her head trying to get the damp kink out of it. Veronika was halfway through finger brushing her hair when she heard her phone buzz. Weird, she thought. Who was texting her this early in the morning? She put the thought out of her head and headed out to the parking lot. Veronika pulled her coat around herself as the cold morning air bit through her. She threw her bag onto the passanger seat and sighed.

The last fall. The last frigging fall. She had almost had it and she fell. Veronika slammed her hand against the steering wheel. The horn echoed across the lot as she sank lower into her seat as a few heads turned her way. She slid her phone from the front pocket of her bag and tapped on the unknown number.

Uknown
I know what you did.
Autumn

Her hands shook. This had to be a sick joke. It had to be. She dropped her phone onto her lap and started her engine. What kind of sick prank was this? Who pretended to be a dead girl to text people? Her father had always said that this had been a nice town with nice people. Clearly. Veronika picked her phone back up.

To:Unknown
Is this supposed to be a joke?

To: All
Finished practice. Anyone need a ride?

A second later her phone buzzed. 'Failed to send' flashed up. Veronika cursed in Russian and dropped her phone onto the seat next to her. She rested her head against her hands and took a deep breath. This was fine. She hadn't done anything wrong. Veronika set her car in gear and pulled out of the lot, driving slowly as she waited for a response from her friends.

Even though it was October, Noah wouldn't miss a morning run. It was the only approved way to get out of the house before anyone else was awake. Normally his mother was up by 6:30 making breakfast, so he always tried to leave by 6:15. But the pregnancy had been difficult for her so far, and the doctor had ordered bed rest for most of the day. She couldn't stand it, but she didn't dare risk disobeying.

The cool air wrapped around his legs and arms as Deep Blue Scene's latest album streamed through his cordless earbuds. Their music had always been more appropriate for cold seasons. His sneakers struck the pavement to the even 4/4 rhythm of "Free Fire." His lungs burned from the chill of the air as he jogged up the driveway of the Oliver family home.

The music volume dropped as his text tone sounded, but he didn't bother to check it. Instead, he climbed the stairs, headed straight for the shower to wash away the layer of sweat on his skin. He turned the water as hot as he could stand and stepped in, letting the heat thaw the frost in his bones. He missed two-a-days. Soccer practice was the best excuse to leave early and come home late that anyone could ask for, but the off-season league only practiced after school. He supposed it could be worse, though. As soon as indoor started, he'd be down to three practices a week until the regular season.

Soon enough, he couldn't put off getting out anymore. He had to get dressed and face the smell of bacon and eggs from the kitchen. So he did.

Noah couldn't remember ever seeing his father cook before, but here he was for the third week in a row, preparing breakfast for the family. Noah finally checked his phone.

Unknown
I know what you did.
Autumn.

The text itself was disturbing enough. I know what you did. But the signature at the bottom was enough to make him want to smash his phone on the spot. Autumn. Impossible. Autumn. She died. Autumn. People don't just come back from the dead. Autumn Autumn Autumn.

"Who's texting you this early?" his father asked with a frown.

Noah locked his phone and gave an innocent smile. "Just Dash," he lied. "It's nothing important. Just jokes."

"You know we still need to meet Dash," his mother said from the kitchen table, surprising Noah. He nearly jumped out of his skin, but he managed to calm himself before either of his parents saw.

"Yes, ma'am, soon, maybe," he said dismissively, and he began to set the table. It wasn't that he was worried about what they would say about his best friend. On the contrary, he knew exactly what they would think about his tattoos, his piercing, his clothes. It was something he would avoid if he possibly could. His father piled bacon, eggs, and toast on to each plate. The three of them sat at the little round kitchen table, breakfasts steaming on their plates, but none of them made any moves to eat.

"Would you like to lead us in saying Grace, Noah," his father ordered, cloaking the demand in the trappings of an offer.

"Yes, sir." He knew the prayer by heart. He could recite it without an issue beside the dryness of his throat and the anxiety ripping at his chest. So he did.

'Ah, forget it, I am up now.' Carissa thought to herself after hitting the snooze button on her phone for the fifth time this morning. She groaned as she rolled over to the other side of her bed and could not believe that school was still commencing after Autumn's death. With the thought being put in the back of her mind after her ears twitched at the door to her room opening and her mother waltzed in, sitting at the foot of Carissa's bed now. "You do not have to go to school if you do not want to." Her mother stated as Carissa sighed and rolled over to face her mother now, shrugging her shoulders with a response now. "I'm good to go to school." She mentioned as her mother nodded her head then stood up while letting Carissa know that her father was preparing breakfast. "I'll be down in a minute. Let me get ready." She said as her mother left her room and Carissa removed the covers from over the lower half of her body then officially got out of the bed. She stretched her arms up high towards the sky and let out a small but well deserved yawn this morning as she walked over towards her closet now, rummaging through it until she decided on a decent outfit to the day.

Once that was marked off the checklist within her mind, she continued on towards the bathroom, where she brushed her teeth, showered and curled her hair. From there, Carissa walked back into her room just in time to hear her phone chime as she was getting a message from someone. Carissa picked up her phone and saw the number was blocked, which made her raised up her left eyebrow as she went ahead and read the message anyway. As she was done reading it, she threw her phone on the bed and let out a gasp then covered her mouth, trying her best not to scream. The text sent shivers up her spine and she was literally breaking out in chill bumps from that message now. Even though the text message scared her a little bit, she still got ready for school and sat down at her vanity area as she put on small dabs of her makeup but jumped whenever her phone chimed again.

'Who could this be now?' Carissa asked herself as she put on lip gloss then stood up and walked back over to her bed, where she grabbed her phone and seen Veronika's name scroll across the screen. With a breath of relief passing over her parted lips, she read the message and started to type out a reply.

To: Veronika
If you do not mind swinging by the house and picking me up then I'd love a ride. :) Thanks in advance!

She sent the message then turned towards her floor stand mirror and reviewed over herself then nodded her head with approval as she grabbed her purse on the way out of her room then went down the stairs to join her mother and father for breakfast. "Morning, dad." Carissa said as she delivered a kiss upon his cheek then smiled over towards her mother as she sat down at the table and looked at the steam wafting off of the breakfast. "No need to take me to school today, dad. Veronika's taking me, I think. I'll let you know otherwise." She mentioned as she started to eat her breakfast and her father smiled towards her with a small nod of his head. "Sounds good." Carissa smiled over towards him then snapped her fingers as she wondered who was going to school today and who wasn't so she decided to send out a mass text.

To: The Friends :)
Please tell me that you all are going to school today.

She did not want to be too alone at school today so that's why she decided to ask everyone to see if she needed to stay at home today or not. But it probably was a little bit too late for that now that she mentioned to Veronika and her parents that she was going. Once she sent the message, she sat her phone down and went back to eating breakfast and socializing with her parents while she waited for Veronika to swing by the house to pick her up this morning.

Felix started out his morning as he did any other - being crushed by the weight of his sister, Zehra, jumping on him. Wincing slightly in pain, Felix pushes her off onto the bed and sits himself up. Zehra just stared at him, a grin plastered over her face. Felix knew she didn't realise that she wasn't eight any more, and he couldn't really take the weight of her whole body now. Alas, that was something he couldn't tell her though, not when she derived so much joy out of trying to make him mad by waking him up in this manner. "Morning Z," Felix says, the end of his sentence turning into a yawn as he stretches. "Mom says you gotta get up so," She picks up a pillow, "Get up you lazy bones!" Zehra shouts, continually hitting him with said pillow. "I'm up, I'm up." Felix laughs, getting out of bed and moving a strand of hair out of his face.

Ushering Zehra out of his bedroom so that he can get ready for the day, Felix leans back on the close door and sighs, the smile fading from his face. Another day without Autumn. He let that sink in for a moment before shaking his head and standing up. Knowing that she wasn't here gave Felix a cold feeling in his stomach and his eyes began watering, but he also knew that he couldn't let his family see him like this. It wasn't right to make them worry about him, he was fine really, some mornings were just harder than others. Walking over to his adjacent bathroom, Felix rests his palms on the corners of his sink, feeling the cool marble sooth his hot skin - something that often happened when Felix got worked up and sad - looking at his slightly puffy reflection for too long.

Not realising how long he had zoned out for, Felix hears his mother shout up the stairs. "Felix, breakfast is getting cold!" He ha to go. Shoving on a typical outfit of black skinny jeans, a plain white t-shirt at least two sizes too big and an even larger red jumper, Felix makes his way downstairs and into the kitchen.

"Morning son." His dads says, peering over his opens newspaper to look at Felix, to which his son nods his good morning. Taking a seat at the dining table next to his little brother, Zachariah nudges Felix to look at something on his phone. Glancing at the screen, Felix sees a video of girls talking to the local news. Turning up the volume on his brother's phone, it becomes obvious that they're talking about Autumn. Felix didn't even recognise them, but they way they spoke about her was as if she'd been their best friend for years. It wasn't right. Feeling his throat start to tighten, Felix goes to stand up and rush out of the room but before he can his mother is upon them. Snatching Zachariah's phone out of his hand she gives him a quick glare, before turning her gaze back to Felix. "Sit, honey, you need to eat before school."

Placing a strained smile on his face, Felix nods. Grabbing a lukewarm piece of toast from the table (that's what he gets for being so late down), Felix tries his best to finish it but only manages half. Washing that down with a glass of orange juice, Felix finally stands up from his seat, "I have to go or I'll be late." Is all that comes out of Felix's mouth before he exits the kitchen.

Grabbing some busted old sneakers from beside the door, Felix pulls them on, grabs his bag and exits out into the cold morning. It's then that his phone vibrates. Expecting a text from one of his friends, Felix unlocks his phone, but what he reads is far from a friendly message. I know what you did. That is enough to stop Felix in his tracks, not even three steps out of his door and Felix already wants to go back inside. However what really chills his blood is the signage, Autumn.

No. This cannot be happening. It had barely been a month since her death and people were already trying to mess with him? What was happening. Felix's head started to spin as he headed back for home. Where it was safe. However just as Felix was about to pound on the door, another text comes through that grounds him. Veronika. A friend. Hastily texting her back, Felix can't help but notice the slight shaking in his fingers.

To: V
I could use a lift, just left my house.

Felix knew it shouldn't be too far out of Veronika's way as he didn't live that far from where she had practice. Taking a seat on the steps that led down from his front door, Felix focused on his breathing as another text came through. This time, It was from Carissa.

To: Cari
I'll be there :-)

Now, all he could do was wait for Veronika, and think about that awful text.
