Daruka is a tall dark-skinned man with green eyes short messy dark brown hair, with a well-defined built and respectably muscular frame. A noticeable trait of Daruka is the change in his eyes during the situation he is in. While maintaining his kind demeanor, his eyes are big and calm. When angered or fighting, his eyes narrow with small cat-like pupils. Daruka has a long bright green coat that goes down past his knees and has a jagged-cut tail, which he calls his "Lucky coat". His coat has golden squares on his right shoulder, and a large golden Armadillo Lion symbol on the back (His favorite Pro-bending teams logo). He wears a plain white shirt with a strange bright green symbol on it. His pants are typical black jeans and have a long chain that attached from the back to the front of them with a small skull charm attached to it. Each of his black shoes has two zippers.

Daruka is a huge flirt.Daruka will not hesitate to hit on just about every girl he comes in contact with (even ones he just met). Daruka also tries to mold himself to his expectations of how someone 'cool' would act. He often expresses how he feels about some situations by either claiming that something is 'cool' or 'not cool.' Being a cool guy, he prefers to use the direct approach or stupid approach, which most of the time fail. Daruka can also be very immature at times. He jokes about a lot whether it is making fun of a serious situation or poking fun at others to most he is a really annoying to be around.

Daruka is a fun loving care free kind of guy he never takes anything serious, even if his life is at risk he will still have a smile on his face and still crack jokes. He loves playing jokes on his friends to the point they want to kill him( not literally). He is strong-willed and headstrong and will not do anything he does not want to do (or forced to do). He a very friendly person to everyone he meets (especially girls his age), people who know him best say it's hard to get him to shut up. Sometimes he does not take kindly to those who abuse or take advantage of women. The only time a smile is not him his face is when he fighting someone who is threatening his friends/women.

Daruka refuses to accept himself as inferior to any opponent that he disagrees with, including those clearly stronger than him. From all the years of being 'cool' is that he is possibly one of the most loyal people one could possibly meet. He firmly believes that breaking promises and changing sides 'isn't cool at all.' Deep down, he is always looking out for his friends, and is even willing to sacrifice himself in order to protect anyone in need of help.Daruka is cheeky, cheerful, and full of mischievous ideas.He is confident in his own abilities, often being very cocky about it, sometimes he does not realize when the opponent is far stronger or even after he knows the opponent is stronger than him; regardless, he will continue to fight

✦Earthbending - Daruka for his age is an highly skilled Earthbender and trains daily to one day become a pro bender. Much like all of the pro earthbenders Daruka has learned a more evasiveness and maneuverable style of Earthbending.Daruka has learned to keep mobile and only root himself long enough to actually launch and direct attacks, because of this his defensive skills far out shine his offensive skills as an Earthbender. In his spear time Daruka has also learned a few maneuverability techniques such as begin able to Magnetization his limbs any type of stone make it so he can scal walls easier.

Daruka was 7 years old when he fell in love with Pro-bending, and no Pro-bender was better than the Republic City Armadillo Lion's Earthbender Kushala, Daruka mother. Daruka watched all of her matches, knew all of her stats and even spent hours upon hours practicing her signature move "The Kushala Krush". Daruka couldn't have been prouder of his mother and spent every second he could at the stadium watching his mother and the other Pro-benders. When Daruka was ten years old the Armadillo Lion's were by far the best Pro-bending team and were a shoo-in to win their first championship. The night of the Daruka had front row seats to watch what he knew was going to be a victory. It was not going to be an easy match however the White Falls Wolfbats were looking to break the record for most of the consecutive victories. After a hard-fought and entertaining match, the game came down to a tiebreaker. For the Armadillo Lion's Daruka mother was, of course, pick to represent them, while the Wolfbats chose an Earthbender by the name of Durjaya. Durjaya was notorious for underhanded tactics, even going so far as to intensely injure other benders. After a great back and forth tiebreaker match to Durjaya frustration it became increasingly clear that Kushala had the upper hand. This was something that Durjaya could not stand, so in one last desperate attempt he fell back onto more underhanded ways to win. After a bone-rattling exchange, Durjaya put his plan into action. He grabbed two earth discs and quickly launched one of them at Kushala head. Kushala expected something like this from Durjaya and already anticipated a move like this and easily dodge this move, but what she didn't anticipate was Durjaya using the second earth disc to bring down on her leg. as long as Daruka lives he could never forget the loud crack his mother's leg made that day. Not only did the Armadillo Lion lose the match, but Daruka mother also lost the ability to ever compete in another pro-bending match. since that day Kushala walks with a permanent limp. Daruka can still remember the day they told his mother she would never be able to pro bend again, that was the day he vowed to win his mother her championship
