Name: ”My name? I am called…” Satsuki
Nickname: ”I am under the alias of…” Satsu or Suki.
Age: ”I am around…” Twenty-Three years of age.

Primary Element: ”I am a Firebender, I use mainly…” Fire. Eventually she will learn the other three.

Hair Color Length and Style: ”What of it?” If one were to compare Satuski’s hair, it would be variant. Depending on the lighting it can appear a dark brown to almost black. In direct sunlight, it can appear a medium russet color. Normally, she will keep it down or pulled half way up in a loose, top-knot-like bun. When left fully down it can reach down to her calves in soft waves. Her hair is cut so that it appears to be layered. Her bangs are cut so that when swept to the side, the shortest layer brushes the bridge of her nose while the longest layer rests against her collar bone. Some parts of her hair in the back are tied with bands that cross each other, giving an ‘x’ effect as they crisscross. During any formal occasions, her hair will be pulled up in a very loose bun with the parts that are banded left loose. She will also braid it loose so that she can weave it through the bun. The only accessory she has in her hair is a pin. It is the only thing she has to remember her mother.
Eye Color and Shape: ”What about my eyes? Can’t you tell?” Satsuki has large almond shaped eyes that appear to be cold and distant. They are usually accented by light purple and pink shades of shadow to bring out the honey pools of gold and marigold that color her irises. Like refined honey and amber, her eyes have a sort of sheen to them that usually make them look bright regardless of the distant look to them.
Complexion: ”I don’t have the best of skin, but…” With the typical characteristics of a Firebender, Satsuki has pale skin that appears smooth and unblemished. She, however, has a scar along her back and on the back of her knee where she was attacked by the earth kingdom children in the orphanage. Under certain lights, her skin can appear with a pale, luminescent light and appear to glow especially during the full moons. She also has a tattoo of a dragon along her waist with the head crawling against her stomach and abdomen. Her lips are full and usually painted a light pink to almost nude color.
Height and Weight: ”I think I am an average height and my weight is none of your business.” 5’6” | 140 lbs.
Body Type: ”Ha! You’re joking right?” Satsuki has a voluptuous body. With thick, defined legs, and toned arms, Satsuki has an almost perfect fighters build. She doesn’t have extreme muscles that bulge, but she is toned and well versed in many different ways to twist and bend, making her extremely flexible. In sum, she has an hourglass shape with her curves very defined and accented by the clothes she wears. Her waist is rather slim but is wide around her hips. Most of the weight she carries is muscle as she has little to almost no fat on her body. Her bosom is a decent size, which she is grateful for. She would hate to have to bind them, plus she would not want to deal with the back problems most well-endowed women have.
Personality: ”…” As a young child, Satsuki was loving and tried her hardest to make friends. After the death of An Lee, her only known parent, she changed. She became withdrawn and distant from most people, and this only worsened when she was put in the Earth Kingdom orphanage. She no longer trusts anyone and it is very hard to expose her weaknesses. Selfish, she only thinks of self-preservation and will do anything to remain alive. During her years with the assassins, Satsuki has learned to be manipulative and has a silver tongue. She has lied her way through more fights than most of her ex-brethren. When angered, Satsuki can lash out with a fury that is tenfold known to Firebenders. She doesn’t like to be angry, and would rather just avoid people in general. Although somewhat socially awkward, Satsuki does not believe in killing for monetary or personal gain. She could never bring herself to do so and usually left that aspect of her life to her brethren.
Brief History: ”You want to know my story? Tch…fine I’ll tell you, but don’t expect a very good one.” Satsuki was born to Shen and Nanako. Shen was a young prodigal Firebender from a well-known family in the Fire Nation, and was very close to royalty. He met Nanako one day during a sweep of a neighboring Earth kingdom colony and immediately fell in love with her. Nanako was born in the Earth kingdom, but was of Firebender lineage. Although not of noble or royal blood, Shen still cared deeply for Nanako. Their love was soon found out by Shen’s family and they immediately disapproved. Proving his love ran deeper for Nanako than a title, he left his family and the Fire Nation to settle in the Earth Kingdom with his new bride-to-be. Three years later, the couple had their first child, Satsuki. Born with the amber eyes of her mother and the brown hair of her father, Satsuki would become Shen and Nanako’s world for the next two years. During the year Satsuki was to turn three, Shen and Nanako left her in the care of Nanako’s oldest and dearest friend An Lee. Shen and Nanako wanted to travel to the Air Temples to seek the nomads. Why? To this day it was never known.
This did not bode well for the two as they were killed during the Fire Nation raid. Shen, long forgotten by his family, tried his best to reason with the army that they were not Airbenders and were Firebenders. The army did not listen and did not give Shen the chance to demonstrate his firebending. Since Nanako was not a bender, she was immediately executed before she could say a word. An Lee, sensing something was a-miss when Shen and Nanako did not return, cared for Satsuki until Satsuki turned seven. An Lee was already an aging woman and had passed, leaving Satsuki in the care of the orphanage of the Earth Kingdom. It was also around this time that Satsuki learned she could firebend, and as a result, was often picked on because she was a Firebender. Most of the other children would try and pick fights with her, resulting in wounds and scars that did not fully heal. When Satsuki turned fourteen years old, one of the earth kingdom boys tried to force himself on her. Not wanting to be raped, Satsuki used her Firebending to burn half of the boy’s face off and managed to catch the orphanage on fire.
Fearing what would happen if she stayed; Satsuki ran away from the Earth Kingdom and traveled to the Fire Nation where she lived in poverty for the next nine years. During these nine years, Satsuki was adopted into a band of thieves and assassins. They taught her in their ways, and using her firebending to her advantage, Satsuki managed to become one of the favorites. Although she did not wish to kill people, she used her skills to collect bounties for her family. Four years later, at the tender age of eighteen, Satsuki was engaged to the leader of her family, but was devastated when the Fire Nation put a bounty out on her group. With most of the group dead, Satsuki had no choice but to leave the Fire Nation and head towards the Northern Water Tribe. Realizing that it would be futile to live with Waterbenders, Satsuki decided to make do with what she had and try to rebuild her life. Now, at the age of twenty-three, Satsuki has been left bitter, and untrusting.
Likes: ”There are not a lot of things I do like but…”
[✓] Singing: Believe it or not, Satsuki enjoys singing. She is rather good at it and it helps her relieve some tension built up after a while. She doesn’t usually sing in public and likes to be by herself whenever she does so.
[✓] Silence: Satsuki would prefer the silence more than she would anything else. Growing up with the assassins, she has become accustomed to it and doesn’t mind it at all.
[✓] Winter: Satsuki loves winter more than anything and would have loved to have been born a waterbender. Something about the cold calms her and she finds herself more relaxed than at any other time.
Dislikes: ”There are more reason’s to dislike something than one would think.
[-] Closed/small places : She is Claustrophobic and is terrified of small spaces. When she was younger, one of the Earth Kingdom boys thought it was funny to lock her in a wall of earth for two days. When she was finally released, she nearly beat the boy to death and was only stopped when the Headmaster ripped her off of the boy.
[-] Love: As cliché as it might sound, Satsuki is afraid of love. Having not really been in love or loved herself, she is afraid to get close to someone. Not to mention that she feels responsible for the death of her fiancé.
[-] Summer: One would think that a firebender would relish in the summer time, but Satsuki does not. She hates being warm and would rather freeze to death than burn. Ironic.
Potential Interest: ”I do not need anyone. I need only myself.” The person she is with must convince her that life is worth saving and that she must fulfill her duty as the Avatar.
Other: Satsuki owns a fire ferret she received in a trade. She named him Kyo. She also has a necklace given to her from her fiancé before he died.
Habits: Satsuki doesn’t have many habits. The only one she truly has is biting her lower lip when she is in thought and usually zoning people out whenever they talk to her.
Strengths: ”Hmph, I am not one to brag, but if you want to know…”
[+]Silver-Tongued: Over the course of years with the thieves and assassins, Satsuki has learned to utilize her talent as a silver-tongued harlequin. No matter the situation, she could lie her way out of it or manipulate anyone to do what she wanted them to do.
[+]Firebending: Although firebending is any Firebenders strength, for Satsuki it is one of her greatest strengths. Without it, she would go insane. She is able to firebend not through the traditional emotional way of firebending and is proud of that.
[+]Patience: During her years with the assassins, she learned that she had to be patient if she wanted to acquire her target as it usually took a while to track them down. As a result, she can have the patience of a saint and rarely ever become impatient.
Weaknesses: ”Just because you know them, don’t think you can exploit them.”
[x] Untrusting: Due to her upbringing, Satsuki is very untrusting towards people she doesn’t know.
[x] Selfish: She will admit that she is selfish and only cares about herself and what will be in it for her. She does not do things for others, and will go as far as to lie and manipulate someone into giving her information that will benefit her later in the long run.
[x] Envious: Whenever she sees a happy family, Satsuki cannot help but become bitter. She is envious of their life and wishes sometimes that she had that. Although she never knew her parents, she misses them dearly.
Father: Shen Toguro: [ 26 at death, would be 46: Deceased ] – Shen was the prodigal son of a noble man. Although born into nobility, Shen did not use his status to rise through the ranks of the Fire Nation Army. Instead, he used his natural ability to bend and his skills as a Firebender. He was the type of man to get things done on a timely manner and would never allow his social status to be tarnished in any way. That changed when he met Nanako and fell in love. He cared more about her than his own status, even going so far as to leave his family for her. When Satsuki was born, he was a joyous father and would never let Satsuki out of his sight. He took over the motherly role of raising Satsuki until he left for the Airbenders. He was a loving husband and a doting father.
Mother: Nanako: [ 22 at death, would be 42: Deceased ] – Nanako was the epitome of water: Calm and graceful. She, however, had an anger streak that rivaled that of any Firebenders ability to bend. Unlike Shen, she wasn’t born into nobility, but was just an average Fire Nation woman. She was born in the Earth Kingdom, however, and met Shen during one of his escapades to the Earth Kingdom. When she fell in love with him and had Satsuki, she became extremely protective of her daughter and did everything she could to ensure that Satsuki would be well taken care of. All of that, however, changed when she and Shen left for the Air Nomads. She was a loving mother and tried to be the best wife she could have been.
