Astrid

The history teacher droned on in a monotone voice about something that Astrid really didn't care for when it came to history. Her mind began to wander as she stared out the window and fiddled with the necklace around her neck, a present from her mother a couple of years before.

"I’m passing back your book reports and I must say I was impressed by how thorough some of you were on your topics of interest. Miss Foster", he tapped Astrid on the shoulder. I'm very impressed with yours, the extensive information you had on Norse mythology and Viking history was very interesting. I commend you on your grade, very rarely do find one of my students reports to be so enthralling that I don't want to put it down till I'm finished".

Astrid nodded "Thank you sir" she blushed slightly as some in the class laughed at her, the teacher nodded and continued passing out the rest of the graded assignments.

ᴬ⁺ 150/100

She hated getting papers like this sometimes, it usually ended up with her getting teased, she sighed and as soon as the bell tolled she bolted out the door and to her locker.

"Just be grateful it's your last year of high school" she said quietly to herself, the fact that it was a school on a military base didn't help either. "Astrid dear you’re just special that’s all", she heard this all the time from her mother, but that didn't change the fact it was embarrassing as hell.

Her senior year in high school had so far been less then tolerable. She was grateful for graduation and the upcoming summer, Astrid wasn't sure what she was going to do with herself after she graduated. One of the many arguments she had been having with her mother as of late, that and the fact that she was still getting into fights at school. Her school record back even when she was very young had that shadow, but she had never been able to back down from a fight; it was like a matter of pride. She had always been one of the tallest, strongest girls and for some reason guys felt they had to prove themselves stronger than her.

She sighed and looked into the mirror in the back of her locker the necklace had always been so important to her because her mother had told her it would protect her. As far as she knew her mother wasn't very religious except for the Norse beliefs that she held to, Astrid never really understood why.

"Thor's hammer" she mumbled to herself not really thinking.

"Astrid you’re talking to yourself again", said a slightly nasally tone of voice.

She shook her head trying to get the fog out of her head, Astrid looked up to see her best friend "Hey, Bailey" she said.

They guy before her was a head shorter than her, had large, thick black glasses on, and Captain America t-shirt on; no one ever expected them to be friends. The kid was by everyone else's standards considered to be a geek, but Bailey was one of the nicest people you would ever meet. He had an obsession over the Avengers; he had all kind of books and merchandise at his house, much to the chagrin to his father who was a General. All tough guys like General Hicks wanted their sons to be muscle headed idiots like themselves. So to have a total dork for a son is very disappointing to him and he never ceases to let Bailey know either.

"I heard through the grape vine that you beat the holy hell out of Griffin yesterday" he said with a smile. "Almost broke his arm, I swear Astrid are you sure you're not some kind of super hero from another planet, like in the comic books?" he chuckled.

This was a conversation that she had been having with him since they were in the third grade, "Nooo, I'm sure I'm not some kind of super hero" Astrid sighed. When they were younger they would play super heroes, living on a military base you had to find something to do even though his father wasn't too happy about his son playing with a girl.

"Maybe you're a mutant? I've been hearing allot about that lately in the news there's supposed to be some school in New York. All kinds of secret shit" he said with genuine concern for her.

That was a new explanation, Astrid thought about it for a moment, maybe he was right and that's why her mother wouldn't tell her anything about her father. Astrid had never known her father and never really known him. She would ask questions especially when Astrid's mother would be informed of something odd or extraordinary she had done. Once again her mother would only reply that she was special or scold her for fighting at school and then under her breath thinking she couldn't hear would comment on how much she was like her father. Astrid's only thought to this was if she knew more about her father then maybe she could avoid doing things like him.

"I don't know maybe I am..." it was then the bell rang and everyone started to file into school to start the day. The pair walked in hoping the day would be fairly uneventful.

-OOC- Astrid is at a high school on a secret military base... she is not aware of this and has lived there her whole life. You characters do not have to be at this school, but that doesn't mean they can't be at the school. Be creative! =^.^=

“I can’t believe I agreed to do this with you. It’s your punishment.” Mira flipped her ponytail over her shoulder as she glanced at her brother. They were both standing in the middle of the gym where a class they were supposed to teach was getting ready to start. She couldn’t remember what Parker had done to get this punishment. He sure didn’t have the patience, in her opinion to teach a bunch of kids their own age. She was sure if this had been fully on her shoulders, she would have killed someone.

Adjusting the sweat lined tape on her wrists; she turned her head to the speaker system and shook her head again. “I swear…” She let her words die off as she sat down on the floor and fixed her feet as well. The best part about teaching with her brother meant they got to spar with each other. She loved it when she got to show off how females could over power a male. She loved watching her older twin hit the floor. It never failed to bring a smile to her face. She was sure that the day it failed, something very bad was going to happen.

“So what do you think all that is about?” She waved her hand into the air to show she meant the song playing over the intercom. “I bet it was a guy. Boys are always overly pompous.” She had a smug smile on her face as she started going over a few jumping kicks to make sure the foot wraps were secure this time and then a few quick rabbit punches for the hands.

Finally satisfied she glanced around the gym. She had no idea what the class was going to be like, but she really wanted something else to do so she wouldn’t have to be there too. She knew she had agreed to help Parker, but really she just wanted to bail. She could think of a few other things to be doing. Like being on the computer, but then remembering that she could be beating her twin up make everything so much better.

"Well that littke punk thought he was stronger." Parker said standing in the middle of the Gym. "So I had to teach him a lesson. It's not like i meant to knock some of his teeth put. Besides he came at me when i said he wasnt stronger than cat. And it was only one punch to the jaw. It wasnt that hard of one either." Parker was mad that he had to teach a bunch of kids MMA that most likely won't ever use it in their lives after the class. "Watch most kids wont use any of this and will forget it once the leave this gym." Parker started to strech out his muscles.

"Bet it was Stark. His Dad basically owns the whole damn school."

"So what do you think we should start them off with today Mira?" Parker said as he sat down next to her on the ground.

"Just cause he thinks something doesn't mean you have to prove him wrong... or everyone wrong every single time. I'm sick of helping you do your punishments." Sitting down on the mat, she started stretching out her legs and only glanced up at her sibling every few minutes. She didn't mind the silence between them. It usually meant they weren't trying to kill each other. "Park, when are you ever going to learn that you're stronger than almost everyone and that people don't like being proved wrong?" She said almost anyone because the two twins ever decently even matched.

Mira shook her head. "You are never going to learn are you?" She tisked under her breath as she pulled her right leg beside her and left the other leg out before bending down and putting her chest to her knee. She also prided herself on being more flexible than her brother. 'What you think isn't hard doesn't mean it wasn't to someone else." She switched legs and repeated the same process on the other side.

"Besides how many times have we had to switch schools because of you? Every time I get friends you ruin it." It was something she held against Parker and never let him forget it. She pulled both of her legs up and put herself into a butterfly to stretch out what she had just done. "It doesn't matter if they never use it again. The fact is that you did your punishment and we can go home. We have a movie date if you don't remember. You promised me since I'm helping you out." Oh, she loved torturing her brother and "chick flicks" were the best way.

Leaning up she glanced over at him and shrugged her shoulders. "It wouldn't surprise me. He is one of the only one with the technology to do it or the nerve. He is so full of himself." She just shook her head and she leaned her hands back onto the mat and shifted her weight onto him as she looked over at Parker then shrugged her shoulders.

"That is all up to you. So long as I get to throw you to the mat a few times." she said with a smirk on her face.

"Yeah well it's not like i ever want to leave schools. Some people just piss me off." Parker said as he stood up and strated to stretch out his left calf.
"I think to start off we should have them show us what they already know. That way I know what to teach them all." He switched legs as he saw kids streaming into the Gym. Parker could only imagine what movie his sister was thinking of dragging him into. Parker sighed "Here come the rejects."
Parker went twards the mass of children and said to them all. "Alright everyone Just get into one big line. And we're gonna split you both into two groups. One of you will be with me the other with my sister. And then you will try and pin us on the mat so we can see what you can do. And people who go with be in my sisters group don't be a dick and say its gonna be easy. Because then she will most likely kick your ass once you get up there. Alright let's go!" Parker started to count them off one by one place them into 2 large groups.

"Yeah, well... I would like to stay in one place to get to know my friends outside of their names." She smarted back to him. It was a sore spot. One they had often gotten into fights over. "You piss me off all the time and you don't see me trying to punch your teeth out every time you turn around now do you?"

Mira just shook her head as she stood up and faced the group of kids trying to figure them out. It was an odd habit she had picked up, but one learned a lot by studying people. As she listened to Parker speak she started smiling as she watched the two lines forming up. This is going to be so fun. I love proving people wrong. Looking down her line, she was glad to see a few well built people who she would have fun against.

"Don't worry. I won't hurt you too bad." She said with a smile on her face as she started with the first person. Her tactic was normal. She let them have the upper hand to get to see where their strengths and weaknesses were, then she turned against them. For the people in the latter part of the line she would have to change it up because it would be obvious by then what she was doing, but for now it would work.

Astrid

Astrid looked around wondering who was playing the prank and had the balls to play Gun's and Roses over the PA system. As entertaining as it was she was curious how they would get in trouble. That was when a guy came busting through the doors of the school she watched Baileys expression go from confusion to that of childlike glee. The only thing Astrid could think of is how this reminded her of a bad eighties high school movie where guys steal and crash they're best friends dad's car, or stand outside girls bedrooms in the middle of the night blasting a song for her on a huge boombox in a trench coat.

"Who does this guy think he is Ferris Bueller?" a sarcastic smirk forming on her mouth.

Bailey just stood there gawking as the guy passed them then winking and flirting with some ogling girls. She rolled her eyes and grabbed Bailey by the shoulder, "Come on Bailey I want to get out of here before I puke" she was surprised when Bailey grabbed her hand.

"Do you know who that is Astrid?" he said his voice in a slow drawn out manner as if he was in shock.

Astrid raised an eyebrow and looked the guy over again as he continued down the hall, "I have no clue should I know who he is?".

Bailey turned and placed his hands on her shoulders gently shaking her "Are you serious! What rock have you lived under for the past 18 years? It's... It's..." his voice lowered and he stood up on the tips of his feet to whisper in Astrid's ear.

She leaned down so Bailey didn't have stretch so far "It's Iron Man's son" his voice trailing off into a high pitched squeal that reminded Astrid of a girl who and just seen her crush cross her path.

Astrid glanced back at the guy confused, she knew Bailey couldn't be mistaken he knew his Avengers and if he said it was Iron Man's son then he was correct. "Why would he be here Bailey?, He wouldn't have no reason to go to some dinky military base high school" she said.

Bailey just stood there in awe, after a moment of waiting for him to come back to Earth she gave up and started to walk down the hall in the opposite direction of the Stark kid.

Elyse

Elyse walked down the hallway, her nose buried in a book. As usual, she was reading a thick book on psychology, deeply immersed in the tiny words printed on the page. Her father encouraged this kind of reading, though amazingly, her eyesight was still as good as ever.

Since Elyse was preoccupied with the book, she wasn't watching where she was going. She accidentally walked into a girl, and stumbled back immediately. "Oh my gosh, are you okay? I'm so sorry, it was an accident, I wasn't watching where I was walking. I swear, it wasn't on purpose? Are you okay?" Elyse was vaguely aware of herself rambling on and on, but she tended to react like that. She was sincerely worried that the other girl was hurt, and didn't want it to be her fault.

Finally, Elyse got enough control to shut her mouth and stop it from saying something she would regret. She looked up at the student and recognised her vaguely as someone she'd seen a couple of times in school before. She stepped back and watched the girl carefully.

"My brother is so foolish.... how could he even.... if Odin were to know of this he would not approve"

"Yes indeed Thor is foolish but I believe he does not know of this child's existence.... however you can sense the blood of Asgard from here. It must have been some time since he has traveled to Earth. Sad... I thought he was to be it's protector" he smirks.

"Foolish for him... a great opportunity for us if we can get our hands on that child we could use them to our advantage" the other said glancing over the compound in front of them.

"Don't you think I know that, you imbecile you had the power in your hands and you let them slip right through your fingers. We wouldn't be in this situation if you hadn't... the other turns and puts his hand up to stop the other from talking. He then strides over to the other and pokes him in the chest with a long finger.

"Me! you are me! Just cause you came and released me from my prison doesn't mean you are any better!" he yells in his exact duplicates face.

ImageImage

The other gets a disgusted look on his face grabs his other self and dangles him over the cliff that they are standing on.

"Indeed I am you... but listen well Loki if it weren't for me you'd still be rotting away in the Prison of Asgard... so know your place. You will do as I say or I will dispose of you and all chances you ever had of destroying Earth and Thor will be for not..." he turned and tossed his past self to the ground just shy of the drop off.

Loki looked up in fear at himself he could sense the increase of power from his future self and he wondered what he had done in order to attain it. Was this course of action what he had done to become like this it was all so confusing to him, which was a rare thing indeed.

-Loki after returning to Asgard with Thor and the tesseract was immediately cast into Prison and there he had been wasting away Odin had made sure to strip Loki of all powers and to keep him from using any magic against the guards a spell of silence was cast upon him. What seemed like just days to Loki in the cell was years on Earth and the outside world. Loki had not time to come to terms with his fate when the walls to the prison were burst open by a tremendous blast and standing before him was none other then... himself. Before Odin and Thor even had the time to make it to the prison Loki and his doppelganger disappeared in cloud of magic.-

They soon made the trip to Earth and Loki was informed by... himself that he was from a future where Loki had gained control of Asgard and was on the verge of being ruler over all the worlds including Earth. But that a champion had come forth a child of Thor, a half-breed Asgardian child born of a human mother and was threatening Loki's rule. So Loki had determined to go back in time release himself from prison and to find and destroy this child before they became a threat. It had sounded like a brilliant plan at first but now as Loki looked up at himself from the dirt he wondered if there was something being kept form him. He was Loki after all the God of mischief and lies... how could he even trust himself to be completely truthful.

((OOC- Kay update everybody I made a post for Loki just so you know no one is aware of the "Loki's" arrival on Earth, Im pretty much NPC'ing the pair which was kind of expected by me. So the post I just made is just so we know whats going on, you should not be trying to go up against the pair of Loki's yet. In time yes we will but this is just the beginning.))

B.J. Barton

B. J dropped his standard issue duffel bag on the tarmac with a soft thump. The sun was blinding as his eyes adjusted. Shifting the weight of his overstuffed backpack he took in the surrounding area.

"Was the blindfold really necessary?" he asked exasperation thick in his voice as he turned to face his commander, his eyes narrowing as they were struck again by the bright sun.
He received no answer.

" You're late, the school is over there behind the barracks" said the man, no emotion resonating in his voice.
He waved a hand disinterestedly towards a squat grey-brown building off in the distance. And with that the man got back into the jeep and took off the opposite direction.

Slinging the duffel over his shoulder so that it rested slightly on his backpack he jogged lightly down the runway towards the turnoff to the small complex of buildings . In no time he rounded the corner of the barracks and the school came into view. It didn't quite fit with the military style of the complex but it seemed to be the only building buzzing with life. Without a moments more hesitation, he made his way toward the main double doors.

Taking a deep breath he grabbed the cool metal of the door handle with his free hand. It was as though he had touched a horse fence, he jerked his hand away unsure if this was some kind of security system. Shaking away the strange tingling feeling in his fingers he changed tactics.

he took a step back, rolling his shoulders he took a deep breath to center himself and concentrated on the door handle, just like professor X had shown him. The doors lock popped open and it swung out slowly until the gap was wide enough for B.J. to push through and as he did the PA system which was in the middle of an anouncement whent dead and then buzzed back into life blaring Welcome to the Jungle by Guns and Roses. A smile spread across his face and as it did he began to accentuate his swagger many eyes turning towards him.

Astrid

Astrid had only taken a few steps when someone crashed right into her, of course Astrid being very solid and rarely fazed by such a collision stood firm where she was. Afraid that she might have hurt the girl she reached out to her as the girl profusely apologized for not paying attention to where she was going.

"Hey it's okay frankly I'm more worried about hurting you then me" she said with a smile.

The girl was slightly familiar Astrid thought, but she was sure she had only really seen her in passing period, it was at this point that Astrid noticed the locked side door just adjacent to her pop open and a guy slip in. She blinked watching this guy wondering where the hell he came from, she then shook her head and turned back to the girl.

"Sorry about that today is one weird day, first the thing with the PA system, one random guy comes busting in the front doors like he owns the place" she turns back to the other guy that slipped in. "And another comes in like he's James Bond or something" she sighed and turned back to the girl. "My names Astrid by the way" she put out her hand to shake the girls.

She trailed off, realising she'd been prattling nonsense again. It always happened, she would have to learn to control her mouth.

"My name's Astrid, by the way." Elyse thought, Astrid. Taking a close look at the girl, she decided it wouldn't hurt to share this bit of knowledge with Astrid. "That's a nice name. "That's a nice name. Astrid comes from the old Norse elements 'god' and 'beautiful'. I think that suits you, you're rather pretty."

Astrid blinked she didn't think of herself as attractive in anyway, she was taller then most other girls and guys were intimidated by her. She hadn't ever anyone say that she was... "pretty".

"Yeah sure my moms really into Norse Mythology...so am I, it's where she got my name" she said as the girl shook her hand.

"I'm Elyse, Elyse Banner."

Banner now Astrid was sure she had heard that somewhere before but she wasn't sure wear.

"Nice to meet you" she said with a smile "Well I got to get going I got to get to my next class" she started go on down the hall and turned into an art room. While she sat working on a project the teacher handed a paper to her telling her she need to meet in the cafeteria after school. Astrid blinked and the stuck the paper in her notebook. What was it this time she hadn't gotten in trouble this week what was cause for her to have to meet somewhere after school she just sighed and reserved herself for whatever punishment she was sure to get.

As Parker threw another kid down onto the mat and pinned him someone came in through the gymnasium doors and yelled out "Parker and Mira Rogers?"
Parker got up off of the kid and said "Get up your fine! Yeah that's me I'm Parker. What do you want?"
"I was just told to give these to you guys." He said as he handed him a note and turned to walk away.
"Wait what is it for?" Parker said as the guy walked through the doors. He ran after him and grabbed his shoulder. "What's this for?"
"Look kid don't ask me I'm just the delivery boy. Just read the note." Parker opened the note and read it said for them to meet on the football field at 3:00 pm. He walked back into the gym to check the clock it was 2:30pm. "Hey Mira we need to get to the football field at 3 alright?"

As her name was called out, Mira turned her attention from the match she was involved in to look up at the person entering the gym and Parker as he made his way over to him. It gave her opponent an opening and he took it. He pinned the smaller girl behind him. Growling out in frusteration, the teen moved her body around not caring if and how uncomfortable it was making or turning the guy on. She threw her hip into the air as she pushed off the mat giving herself the opening she needed and soon she had the male pinned to the mat in nearly the same position. "Done."

Standing up, Mira brushed herself off. If Parker opened his mouth she was liable to go off on him. Standing in the middle of the mat with her hands on her hips, she watched her twin go and about get himself into more trouble. Honestly Parker can you not go an hour without wanting to confront someone? Life is not a sparring match. Stop trying to make everything into a fight. She thought to herself as she shook her head.

Taking the piece of paper she read it over and then just shook her head more. "You can't even read. How did you ever get out of kindergarten? It wants us in the cafe." Though the football field sounded like a good idea so she could put in a few laps to finish out the work out. Shrugging her shoulders, she turned back to the students who were just standing around.

"Enjoy the rest of the class to do whatever. Just don't get us in trouble." She didn't want to have to threat them, but if she had to pull another training session in the same month, she was going to hurt someone and probably the person she had shared a womb with. Turning she faced Parker again as she gathered her workout bag not bothering to put any shoes on. They could just deal with her going barefooted with her feet wrapped.

"Let's get going before we're late." She said as she turned and headed out of the room.

Elyse

Elyse watched Astrid turn and leave, feeling a little lonely. Without warning, a boy running from behind crashed into her, both falling to the ground. Second time in a day, Elyse thought with a sigh. She stood up and offered the boy her hand, pulling him up.

He apologized hurriedly, then proceeded to ask her, "Do you know where I could find Elyse Banner?" Elyse blinked. "I'm Elyse Banner." The boy laughed sheepishly, then thrust a piece of paper at her. Before Elyse could ask him anything, he'd run off again.

Curious, Elyse unfolded the paper. It told her to meet in the cafeteria at 3pm. Elyse checked her watch. 2.45pm. I'd better get going then.

He noticed a tall strikingly beautiful and thin girl standing off to the side of the hall follow him with her eyes. She had flaxen blonde hair and seemed to be having a conversation with the shorter dark haired girl across from her who was equally as beautiful.

He heard the last snippets of the conversation between the two as he approached "...like he's James Bond or something," his swagger dropped off as he drew nearer to the two girls. He shook his head slightly at the comparison to James Bond.

"Pardon me miss, but would you be so kind as to point me in the direction of the administrative office?" he said, tapping the brown haired girl on the shoulder lightly, the slightest hint of a tremor in his voice.

"I do apologize for the interruption. It was my intention to slip in unnoticed, but, alas my plan backfired," He said to the blonde haired girl, flashing a lopsided smile. following their thoughts he moved around the girls, farther into the building.

"Down this hall then?" he asked brusquely and rhetorically,

"My name is Bryce Barton by the way. But, please call me B.J." he said as he made his way down the hall towards the office.

The lady at the desk was nice, if a bit clipped and strangely he had no idea what she was thinking. It was as if there was a wall between there minds much like the ones Professor X and Jane had used to help him gain a stronger control over his powers.

She handed him a welcome packet and pointed to a shelf with a stack of books and handout packets placed neatly in a pyramid. Unzipping the duffel he had been carrying he gently moved his folded re-curve bow out of the way and pulled his empty backpack from the top of his clothes. immediately he zipped the bag back up and opened the empty bag placing the books inside neatly, then he placed the welcome packet in the front pocket.

He suddenly noticed a small white piece of paper paper-clipped to the side of the packet. he removed it and zipped the bag up, slinging it onto his shoulders. unfolding the paper he found that he was to meet in the cafeteria around 3 pm after school.

"Well that is odd," he muttered to himself under his breath. folding the paper and shoving it into his back pocket he lifted the schedule the admin had printed off the counter and scanned to the class he had during the current period. He was surprised that by late the man who had dropped him off had meant that the last period of the day was more than half way finished.

Before he knew it the last 30 minutes of the day had come and gone and it was time for him to make his way towards the cafeteria. With a little hesitation he moved against the flow of students, back towards the cafeteria, waiting at the door to see if other people were going to show up.
