Introduction
While at the academy students do not hear from or see their loved ones, unless they are in the academy themselves. They are allowed very little technology but no cell phones are allowed and internet is unavailable except on the schools computers. There is a large amount of land surrounding the academy, and students live in dorms having one dormmate. They do not choose their dorm mate and meet them on the first day.
Many secrets lurk about this academy, but no one knows if they are true...

They are like that of humans except one thing. They need to bite - to give blood. They need to get rid of excess blood every so often or they fall ill and throw up blood or get extreme bloody noses. These vampires are able to read emotions of those they bite and their bite is said to feel nothing but amazing.

Type B: It is extremely rare, but type b is somewhat like that of type A, except they attract the same sex, and have not interest in the opposite sex. Can be seen rude to the opposite sex due to nature
Zombies
Type A: Type A zombies look like normal humans, however they cannot be in the light or they will slowly burn. They were people once human, who died and were brought back to life by a necromancer. Zombies are the walking dead and thus cannot die - ever. They never appear to age. They are physically strong though a little fragile. They do fail pain when injured, though the heal themselves over time even if decapitated.

Type A: Type A wizards need some sort of item like a wand, pendant, or etc to use magic. Without it they are rendered useless. They know certain types of spells in which they must recite to cast - they are otherwise human.
Type B: Type B wizards do not need anything to cast their magic, but do recite spells just like type A wizards - they are otherwise human.
Type C: Type C wizards do not need to recite anything, nor do they need an item, their magic ranges from many things, but they are known to lose energy quickly due to their amount of power. They are your massive damagers, but constant fighting is not their forte.

Necromancers
Type A: Type A necromancers are able to resurrect the dead. They are able to bring someone back to life thus making them a zombie, kill a zombie which they have resurrected (the only way to kill them.) Or, force ghosts into bodies. If someone has been long dead, they can temporarily control them. They are otherwise human.
Type B: Type B necromancers are able to kill any undead, and bring them back as their eternal slave. These are extremely rare.
Dark Magicians
Type A: Type A uses dark and forbidden magic which is often dangerous to not others but its caster. They work with magic regarding shadows, darkness, blood, and poison. It is not rare for them to die due to their magic.
Type B: Type B uses lost magic, overpowered single shot spells, some which have the power to even kill someone. Every time they cast one of these spells, their life span shortens and they become more and more emotionally and physically fragile.

As soon as the speech was over and they were dismissed, Mira shot up from her seat. She began to weave her way through the people, cringing every time she brushed into someone. She was so preoccupied with the people around her, that she forgot to look in front of her. She suddenly found herself crashing into someone and being knocked into the ground.
Nell was bored out of his mind. He didn't enjoy the speech because every year it was the same damn thing! He'd seen a girl with white hair sitting up with the teachers but didn't care as to why. For all he knew, she could have been the student council president or something.
After the speech was finally over, Nell looks up at the giant ass school. He never could get over how big it was. And even though he was a highschool senior, he still got lost. But while he was looking up at the school he felt someone run into his back. He was startled, but instantly turned around to make sure no knives were in it. It'd be scary if Bel followed him here.
But instead of knives he found the girl with white hair. "Oh..." He said before holding out his hand for her to take, "You okay, lady?"
Casteil crouched down putting his hands on his ears and closing his eyes tightly, he started to mutter 'Make it stop... Make it stop, No more, no more" in a crowd of people he tents to freak-out a little, it always happens to him no matter how much he tries to stop it.
She stood still, the crowd pretty large, she figured she would wait it out, then find her way around when everyone else was gone. Belle grunted, being pushed around several times as she waited for it all to clear out. She started to wonder if such a miracle was possible.
Timidly she took his hand, cringing at the contact. "Yes, sorry." She said in a soft, slightly timid voice.
Ranae listened to every word that poured out of the headmasters mouth, and tried to stuff them in her memory. She always likes to feel secure with information, so she always knows how things work around places.
As soon as the headmaster said they were dismissed she suddenly realized how big the student body was. "Great." She muttered under her breath as she tried to go with the flow of the crowd. Of course just her luck along the way she had got smashed in between two huge fat guys. "I-I can't breathe." Ranae hoarsely croaked trying to get their attention. Soon her face was turning a pale blue, and yet the people didn't save her from the mass of flubber.
Then to her last option. With the one arm she could actually move she started hitting, and a failed attempt at screaming. It was more of a croaking sound from lack of air.
Finally one of the guys looked down at her, and took a step back in order to set her free. "Watch it punk." The guy said in a deep voice. Ranae just ignored him. Taking in huge breaths of air she went with the the crowd.
Iris listened keenly as Headmaster Tabtill spoke. Since she was new to the Academy she felt that it was of the utmost importance that she learned everything that she needed to know, and quickly.
This place sounds really nice, actually. Perhaps I was over-worrying… again, She thought.
During the speech, occasionally, Iris dared spare a moment away from the Headmaster and curiously gazed around the room at the rest of the students who were also present in the room - realizing at that point in time just how many students there actually was apart from herself and Gerdy. Oh dear. For the remaining duration of the speech Iris returned her focus back onto the Headmaster, taking a few odd notes from his speech every now and then before they were dismissed, and then placed her small notebook away securely into her backpack as everyone began leaving their seats.
Oh my, everyone is leaving now. But… where should I go? I don’t really know. Puzzled, and with an evident frown, Iris thought to herself for a few minutes whilst allowing the students that surrounded her to leave the area without bumping into her. She really didn’t want any strangers getting too close to her, not that she thought highly of herself, but who would want people they didn’t know invading their person space so suddenly?
“Hey, Iris! Snap out of it!” A silent voice called from within her head. “We can’t lag around all-day, you know.”
No, I suppose not, Gerdy. We, or I, better move our-self quickly or else someone may get concerned.
With a confident nod, and a light brushing of her skirt, Iris promptly got to her feet. The girl, who was somewhat shorter than some of the students, looked around for a possible method of exiting the room.
I saaaaay… that a-waaaaay! She laughed to herself mentally before regaining composure. Say Gerdy, I think it would be best if we keep our conversations to a minimal, emergency only basis. I find it harder to concentrate, so, I’ll reestablish communication with you when I find out where our dorm room is, understand? For now I request your silence, sister. Please.
“Aye-aye. I got you.”
As she was about to leave the room something caught her attention, suddenly, which then caused Iris to miss the exit entirely and walked straight into the wall instead with a thump!
“That was… not very wise of myself.” She muttered after rubbing her forehead. “Hm?”
Iris noticed a young male sitting, his music loud enough for all to hear and the reason for her sudden lack of concentration. She didn’t blame him - the music was pleasant enough if not only just a little bit too loud for her own personal liking. The high level of noise caused her control over Gerdy to slacken briefly, though not enough for anyone to really notice bar her little accident just moments prior.
“Excusie’ me…” She spoke softly, walking over to the blonde boy and tapping his shoulder lightly. “Could you turn your music down ever so slightly? Just a little bit? Not much…” Her voice grew quiet towards the end of her sentence, knowing that she had no right to actually ask such a thing. It was his music and not his problem. “Please pay no attention to me, sorry. I didn’t mean to trouble you.”
Closing her eyes and gathering her focus, again, Iris took a step back from the boy and attempted to gain her barings.

(Sorry about the length. I realize that it is a bit long!)
Grace tried to listen to the Headmaster. It was, after all, her first day at the academy. However, her curiosity soon got the better of her as she allowed her bright blue eyes to search the room for cracks in the wall. Cracks meant a hidden doorway.
She had become a master at finding missing objects and differences. Not to mention noticing minuscule details. Spending time looking for places to hide will do that to you.
While it started as trying to hide her unusual vampirism, her love of exploring soon turned it into a hobby.
After noticing the other students leaving, she quickly rose and took off into the hallway. Eager to find an adventure.
Once she confirmed she was okay Nell nodded before adjusting his giant frog hat before actually just taking the thing off. He didn't even know why he still wore it since it had many holes in the back of it from target practice. Guess it had sentimental value or something.
Nell turned back to the school and frowned, "Wonder if anything actually interesting will happen this year." He asked no one in particular.
Nell couldn't help but look at the girl who had such a small voice. It was weird, he was used to screaming and yelling, so this girl was a nice change of pace. Though he couldn't tell what her race was, Nell didn't really care. He's seen them all. None of them are special.
Grace, now hiding in the shadows of the hallway, looked over the walls. So far, her search for spooky doorways and cobwebbed caves had yielded nothing. There were a few potentials, but they ended up as tears in the wallpaper. Disappointed, she headed back to the hall that was busy with students.
Despite devoting her attention to the walls and floor, she couldn't help but notice other students interacting. She longed for just a little of the attention. While she was often silent with groups, she liked to be included. However, she was not one to approach groups. Instead, she smiled at anyone who looked her way and tried to keep the adventuring to a minimum.
“That’s alright, no need to apologize… Good day.” Iris smiled politely to the blonde male, grateful at least to have found a seemingly nice enough student regardless of the outcome.
Once back in control completely again, and realizing that the majority of the room was almost empty, Iris thought best to leave the room promptly after that moment, ensuring she still had her backpack with her, before exiting the area eventually some minutes later and proceed out into the hall.
“I still don’t really know where I’m going.” She sighed quietly to herself. There wasn’t exactly a particular place that Iris needed to be at, or wanted to visit, so her list of destinations was both limited yet endless at the same time.
Whilst in deep thought, again, Iris couldn’t help but notice a student lingering in the shadows and oddly looking over the walls and flooring. She definitely didn’t know who the student was, much like the previous student, and yet Iris once again felt compelled to enquire more about them for whatever reason she could think of.
“Hello there,” She spoke up at that moment, before greeting the girl. “May I ask… what it is you were doing out there in the hall?” Blinking, Iris gazed at the female curiously before innocently giggling, “I don’t mean to seem nosey, sorry. I was just wondering...”
Grace practically jumped for joy as she saw another student approach her. She smiled gratefully at the girl as she approached. The girl was muttering to herself, it seemed, but that succeeded in piquing Grace's interest.
As the newcomer got closer, Grace noticed that the girl was very similar to her. Their snowy white locks both seemed to glow in the dim light. Though the hall was too dark to tell the color of the girl's eyes, Grace liked to imagine they were blue like her own. Finding someone that looked so closely like her excited her. Never having a family of her own, it made her feel comfortable.
"Hello there," the girls spoke, “May I ask… what it is you are doing out here in the halls?” Blinking, Iris gazed at the female curiously. “I don’t mean to seem nosy, sorry.”
Grace laughed quietly, "It's not a problem. I'm just looking to get to know people, I guess." She shrugged her shoulders a little, "It's my first day. My name is Grace, what is yours?"
"Can.. Can I help...you" He said quietly and with a slit quiver as well. Staring at this guy's eyes and felt a sense of peace deep within them.
Iris smiled warmly as the girl responded positively towards her advancement. So far, it seemed that the Headmaster truly meant what he had said earlier, and that this Academy was a place for safety and companionship amongst the different races.
The girl, Grace, did carry a striking resemblance to that of herself - something that Iris had noticed before and perhaps was an unknowing reason for her initial curiosity towards Grace. In a way it was a little amusing, as if peering into a mirror almost with only the minor odd detail differing the pair.
“It’s my first day as well, so it looks like we’re in the same boat,” She said with an optimistic grin in response, feeling almost a sense of relief in knowing she was not alone in that fact. “My name? My name is… Gerdy. Nice to meet you, Grace.”
It was reassuring for Iris to have met someone who seemed quite pleasant and friendly, and at last she had found someone who made her feel at ease even if she had only just met the girl - Grace seemed like a really nice person from what Iris had discovered, regardless of whatever race Grace was. However, though knowingly lying - to a certain extent - Iris know that revealing her true identity would be more complicated that it was worth, at least for the time being. For now, to everyone, she was Gerdy.
“Anyway, um, do you want to, perhaps, explore the Academy? I don’t know my way around and this place is so huge, I didn’t even think to find out if there was a map or anything for this place.” Iris suggested casually. “Plus, I don’t know about you, but if I knew this place a bit better then maybe the Academy would feel a little more like a home than a school…”

Grace happily accepted Gerdy's request. "I love exploring. It would be great to get to know you and this place a bit better."
Gerdy definitely seemed like someone Grace would get along with. She seemed to understand her quiet nature, and natural kindness between races is hard to come by these days. Though it didn't matter to Grace which race Gerdy was, she could only hope that Gerdy would feel the same way upon finding out what she was. Grace was often considered too human for the vampires, and too vampire for anyone else.
"I've walked through the halls for a bit, but I was looking to closely to actually see anything." Grace chuckled lightly with a slight blush on her cheeks. "Which way would you like to go?"
Honestly, she had never had someone to explore with before. For having just met, she was surprisingly excited for this new experience.

Suddenly Ranae's eyes stopped on two boys. One was picking the other up by the collar. "Oh no." She said her eyes widening as she processed what was happening. Either it was someone bulling someone or they were fighting. Somehow she managed to slip her way through the crowd, and reach them. Getting closer she looked at each more carefully. One had Deep beautiful eyes, and the other had pretty light brown eyes.
"STOP!" She yelled while grabbing the blue eye'd guys arm, and staring up at him. That's when she realized now a little to late how intimidating he was, and how much taller. Fear flooded into Ranae's eyes for a second, but she forced on a poker face.
