May eighteenth, 2015. 6:34 AM. Monday morning starts out very casual. Weather man goes off about the weekend while honks from cars drain out the baby's crying from the apartment above. Everything's normal until 7:00 AM chirps in. All sounds but alarm clocks cease to a hum. No chirps, no buzzing, no baby's crying. Just isolated air conditioners trying to cool empty rooms. There's no sounds of cars driving by, or any kind of activity. Take a look outside, and you'll realize what's happened. Everyone's dissapeared. Not a single trace of life for miles to come.

What's happened?

Where did everyone go?

Why are you still here?

1. RPG rules work here too. (No God-modding, no Mary sues, yada yada..)

2. Characters can fight, steal, and kill (with permission!), but you can't. Keep everything else in those Pms.

3. No homo. (Sorry, house rules!)

4. Relationships between characters are alright, but I want any bedroom stuff on my RP.

5. Don't get angry at me for being gone for a day. I'm a busy soul.

6. Anime only! (Manga's okay too, but.. eh.)

7. If you want a part, go to the OOC and say: NO SCHOOL! :D I'll tell you if you've got the part.

8. Dedicated writers only please! I need people to write out just as much as they need to. Not too little, not too much.

Yori stepped down the sidewalk with Izumi holding on tight to his hand. they had been walking around for a little while now, whistling and enjoying the lovely lights quietly. He bringed hope to the heart of Izumi, that she would get to see more humans soon. Yori was quite happy about that transmission too, but maybe a little more than he should have. More humans? Didn't that mean more troubles? Oh no, more humans were good news to him! It meant he was right, and Ivory was wrong. The more humans he could find here, the more he could restore them there! Simple, right? All he had to do was convince Jesi that he was right, and Ivory was wrong. Everything would be alright if he convinced Jesi.... If he... Oh Jesi... I... miss you...

Yori was long lost in brokenhearted thought as the sound of rustling came from inside a shop. Yori flinched at the noise and regained his awareness, senses quickly becoming alert once again. Elegant dolls swung in the display windows, showing warnings of tempering. Glass shattered in the back. The smell of rotting was becoming strong on this side of the street, but it smelled the strongest once he realized what it was.

The answer ran across Yori's mind faster than a coin could hit the floor. He suddenly looked very afraid and uncomfortable. "Quick." He whispered to Izumi, grabbing hold of her hands and leading her into the ally beside the building. He crouched down with her, with just barely enough shadow to hide the two. Yori's eyes were shut and he began breathing shakily. Is it true? He thought to himself, holding Izumi's precious little hands tighter. An eerie noise came from the front of the building, like a whine that grew louder with each step it took. It grew nearer as the scent of Human and Relici's sweat grew stronger. I was wrong. I was so wrong.... I... I..!

Yori stood up and ran. He let go and ran from denial. Izumi stumbled a little behind, trying to keep up, but Yori just ran. He didn't want to face it again. The eerie noise turned into a solid figure, a tall and shadow-like beast emerged. It grew taller, and faster. Izumi was no match for both of their speeds, she was just a little Human. The shadow grabbed hold of her emotionally, causing immense pain as she fell. Yori ran into the building across the street and hid from the window's view. He didn't want to, but he looked back. He looked back from behind his cowardly hiding place and saw poor Izumi mentally leaving her body. She looked so afraid.. That was the closest it could be described as without going sour. Yori literately saw her consciousness for a split seconds, the light of her soul screaming out in rejection to what the Beast was... was.. well, Yori turned his back on the gruesome scene before it could play. He held his hands over his head and closed his eyes, shaking from fear.

He didn't want this. He never did. He didn't like to see people dying. Though he could not see now, he could still hear both Izumi's and the beast's screams as if they were merging into one. Yori sat there in fear until it felt like he had just woken up from a bad dream. Everything held still for a moment. He opened his eyes and waited for a few seconds, hoping Izumi's voice would return to him once again. But there was nothing but the sound of the beast merging back into sound as it sobbed it's self away, sounding as if it didn't get what it wanted. Yori slowly, fearfully crawled to the door of his building. Izumi's body was gone, and all that was left is ash.

Yori wondered for a moment, Why doesn't it come after me now? Why does it only devour.... Human?

Tiny drops of glinting sapphire light calmly floated in place, some gradually circling the somewhat rectangular space while some of the light reflected off the walls crowded with different sized screens, buttons, and multiple colored switches. It was as if all the stars had shrunk and gathered in one spot, being the only lights in the room aside from the dimly lit screens.

Or rather than this space being a room, it was more of a ship. And at the front of this ship sat a green-haired girl, barely into her teen years, her emerald eyes set on the large set of screens in front of her as her fingers tapped on a holographic keyboard.

She let out a yawn as she stretched out her arms and leaned back in her cushioned chair. This girl, known as Jesi, had been sitting on orbit for quite some time. Well, maybe not that long, but for someone like Jesi, sitting in a small ship with nothing better to do but research and take orders would quickly feel like being stuck in an eternity.

She sat back up and pulled up a blue and white site on the screen in the middle. That is when her tired expression vanished and her eyes widened. She'd only set up this translator a few hours ago and already she had established contact. A smirk pulled at the corner of her lips and she felt a bubble of excitement purge through her. She did not bother replying to whoever this human was that replied to her. That would only give her away. However, now she had hard evidence that the human race hadn't all been wiped out. If there was one who survived, there had to be more.

She was ready to push her chair away from the metallic desk now and press the communicator button on her headphones, but stopped when every screen in the room began to flicker and blink with black and white lines. Someone was trying to get through to her ship. She grew curious, standing up and placing her hands on the surface of her desk to lean her face closer to her screen, eyes glistening with anticipation. However all enthusiasm seemed to drop when his face appeared on the screen. Her lips parted with awe and her eyes widened more with shock. How could he be alive? "Brother..?"

When the screens went blank again Jesi slumped down into her chair, frowning now with her head tilted downwards. He was supposed to be dead, yet there he was. Why was he with a human? Why was he looking for other humans? Did he plan on making sure the rest were dead? Yes...that had to be it. She clenched her teeth and looked up at her screen. Of course that was it. Yori would gather the surviving humans together and destroy what he missed. That was the only reasonable explanation. Well she wasn't about to let that happen. Even if there were few left, they were still important subjects.

She stood up and took in a deep breath, then turned and walked to the middle of her ship, the tiny stars moving across her hair, clothes and skin. She stopped, pulling out a small device and typing coordinates into it before putting it back on her belt and checking to make sure she had all of her equipment. "Knife, stun gun, pistol, notepad...right!"

"Ready!" She said firmly. There was a heavy pulling sensation as the ship dropped into the planets atmosphere. In a matter of seconds it stopped about 200 feet from the surface of a green field. Inside the ship, Jesi closed her eyes as her body seemed to deteriorate into small flecks of bright blue energy until her body had completely vanished. When her eyes opened she was on the surface, her white boots planted in the trimmed grass.

She pulled out the same device she had before and pressed a few buttons. Only a second later her silver and blue, saucer-shaped ship flung itself into the sky, disappearing into space in the blink of an eye. A voice vibrated from her headphones and she brought her finger up to hold the small red button on the left side of the earpiece. ""He's alive, sir. But don't worry!" A bright smile appeared on Jesi's face as she spoke. "I won't let him get in the way of our progress, that's a promise!"

The conversation ended and she released her finger from the red button. She turned in a slow circle, letting her eyes scan the area around her. It looked like she was in a park of some kind. She knew she was in America, this was specifically the coordinates she typed in. Now if only she had the slightest idea of where Yori was....

Krysta hadn't realized that Asher was in her room until she felt something take her picture away. What had she been doing? Looking up at Asher, she remained silent as he got her things together. Seeing her stuffed teddy bear though, she quickly grabbed that without saying a word. What was wrong with her? She was never this silent before. Normally she was more outgoing than this. Well, things weren't normal were they? She was mildly surprised when Asher grabbed most of her things. Without thinking, Krysta grabbed her purse.

When they got downstairs, Krysta heard strange noises coming from the family room where the big 24" tv was. Kryta, being curious looked and saw someone she didn't recognize. Another human? Or was the tv playing tricks on her? It was then she started listening to his words. Creatures? Devour? Dread crept up Krysta's spine after hearing that. And how were they suppose to communicate? The blonde teen didn't have much time to think anymore where the white hair guy gave a warning.

Oh crap . . . was all Krysta could think before the tv exploded and the force of it caused Krysta to fall back and hit her head on the wall.

Her ears were ringing and she was seeing double when she opened her eyes. It was then she heard Asher ask if she knew who that person was. Krysta shook her head in response. She needed some aspirin now. Her head was pounding. Without saying another word, Krysta ran back upstairs and took some. She also grabbed a medicine bag and put first aid stuff in it before rushing back downstairs.

"I think we should leave now. I am . . scared." she admitted.

Krysta's decision to run back upstairs confused him. Really? Now? The TV literally just blew up in the living room and the girl thought there was something more interesting to do, even after the screen had showed them other humans?
Asher folded his arms when Krysta came running back down, the girl really needed a talking to.
"Well then, now that you're back-" The redhead was saying, just as Krysta began talking as well, "I think we should leave now. I am . . scared." she admitted. Asher frowned at her. Was she not having fun with this? Sure, everyone disappearing without leaving behind the slightest clue of where they went was a little bit of a downer, but hey, there were still silver linings to smile at! They could head on down to the mall and take whatever they wanted! That was a bright side. Wicked deals on clothes? Krysta would probably like that... hopefully. He liked to think so, anyway. Really the boy had no idea what else to do if she started crying again.
"Alright then," Asher agreed happily, giving a nod of approval, "You said it, Doll! Let's get outta here."

After quickly stuffing the snacks he had found earlier into a few shopping bags that had been left on the floor, Asher and Krysta headed out.
The first stop was back at his house, obviously. He figured that since Krysta had brought some of her own stuff, him bringing along an extra pair of clothes and maybe his notebook would be okay, too.
When he swung open the front door, though, Asher immediately realized how the girl beside him must have felt only a few minutes ago.

He wasn't one for breaking down into tears, but the complete silence that filled the house was like a huge slap to the face. You can't do anything that will help them, anyway. A little voice reminded him, but instead of making him feel better it made him feel worse. Why? Because it was right.
You don't even know where they are! The little reminders continued, making Asher wish he had a mute button for this thoughts. But it's not like you'd be much help even if you did, huh? You'd probably mess everything up.
His shoulders sagged and he dropped the bags full of delicious yet unhealthy food.
"I'll be right back." He promised Krysta, trying to not to let his voice sound as pathetic as he felt at the moment. He began walking towards the stairs, but his shoes crunched on the shards left by the now broken TV that was just a few feet away in the kitchen.
Sighing, Asher marched up to his room.

"Duisy ah Yori. (Hello again Yori.)"

"...Yoritomo, Juen sei chi. Veh ouei'en su. (...Yoritomo, you must not ignore me. I know where you are.)"

Yori continued to walk, not bothering to look down at Izumi's communication device he stuffed in his shirt pocket. He had to concentrate.

"Yori, ve ouei'en say, hai sai ve'er earth.(Yori, if you do not answer me, I will just have to explode your earth.)"

Yori picked up the small device and held it to his mouth. He took a quick look around, still walking, still hurting deep inside, and answered with a harsh tone. "Jusei ouei'en jar vese? Ouei'en sei doe, Sulu tu'ue. (Why don't you just kill me? You don't need me now, so I'm waiting.)"Yori threw the device down and smashed the speaker between his feet and the concrete ground. He started running, making his way up a staircase, following the signs to the nearest airport.

Ivory hated Yori. Ivory hated everything about Yori, and he hated his dumb sister too. He hated his mind, his guts, and his love for that stupid planet. He'd blow him up in a heart beat if it weren't for the company's image. He'd be shut down immediately for taking "Irrational actions", but wasn't everything irrational these days?

No matter. Ivory had some plans to think up. He needed to get Yori back without any fuss, so he could kill him "by accident". He sat back in his levitating chair and took a sip of Juju, a popular bubbly drink among Replici's. Well, I can't just blow up the planet anyway. Jesi's there now. She's got (recording devices) and communications. They'd have perfect evidence against me. Ivory thought to himself, closing his eyes and turning his chair to the star view behind his desk. ... But... What if I "Had" to? A smile came across Ivory's cheeks as he pressed down a speaker button. "Carri, redirect me to Jesi. I'd like to speak to her." Ivory took a few spins in his chair and waited for her voice to appear. He brought up a screen with his irises to tell him the current health of the planet.

"Ah, Jesi. This is the boss. The planet is not lasting as long as we thought it would. Earthquakes are going to begin in two flashes, and volcano's will erupt in three. That's only an hour on Earth. Gather whatever life you can, and come back to the ship. Oh, and don't leave without any humans. Understood?" A chuckle almost escaped. He hardly waited for her response, as he then closed communications and sent an untraceable 'bomb' to hit Earth's location. He knew she'd never find any humans, at least, not any live ones. Even if some of them were alive, what were the chances of her finding them in time? He drank the last of his Juju, Called Carri again and asked her to send him another one. He was going to need it for the, ah, what do the call them? Fireworks?

ImageKrysta wondered why Asher was in such good spirits, especially considering the circumstances.

Is he taking any of this seriously?, she thought.

It actually mildly irritating to find him acting this way. Also he little pet name, Doll, was beginning to annoy her too. This time she did voice her opinion.

"Um, you can call me Krysta." she replied, but her words probably fell on death ears as she followed the red-head. As the two of them walked, Krysta payed attention to where they were going and seeing the no activity again began to unnerve her. Tearing her gaze from the scenery, he focused on Asher again.

Soon they made it to another house. The blonde assumed this was his house. Walking, she took in all the sights and smells. As she looked though, she almost walked into Asher, who seemed to be glued to where he was standing. Edging by him, Krysta looked at him and wondered what was wrong. He looked lost. Before she could ask him what was wrong, Asher said he be back and left her there.

Now what was she suppose to do? Krysta hesitantly walked around before putting her bags down. Wanting to check on Asher, she went upstairs herself and started looking for him.

Really, Asher wasn't a sad type of person. He smiled, he laughed, he looked at the bright sides of everything and ignored the bad downer stuff. After all, if one always stayed positive about things, they would have an easier time finding the good in them. But if they stayed negative, the bad is all they'd ever see.
Negativity was like the fog in San Francisco. There would always be so much to look at, but the stupid low clouds always got in the way.
Today was a day Asher was finally seeing the fog that everyone else was. His family was probably dead. The last thing he said to his dad was don't forget to buy peanut butter. He hadn't finished writing his part for the school newspaper. He didn't even know Logan's favorite colour, what Matt's middle name was, or if Argus was still dating that Lucy girl he had been so fond of.
When was the last time he told his mother that he loved her? How many times had he gotten mad at her an never apologized?
Asher's life at the moment seemed to be a brew bubbling with regrets. He was a bad brother, a lousy son, and all that he had achieved in sixteen years was nothing compared to anyone else his age. Now that everything was gone... well, looks like this was where things would end for him.
Empty. Useless. Incomplete.
Asher opened his bedroom door, picked up a shopping bag off the floor and began randomly shoving clothes into it. He only needed... what? A couple pairs of pants? A few shirts? Maybe a jacket.
The shirts didn't fit with the pants in the one tiny bag, so Asher dumped it all out and dragged his old suitcase out from the pile of papers and clothes that was located in his closet.
He packed, zipped up the suitcase, and went back downstairs to where he had left Krysta.
"As for the nickname situation," Asher said out of the blue, but he was referring to when she had announced that her name was, infact, Krysta and not Doll. "It suits you. You can call me Tomato or something like that, if you want to be fair about it."
Suddenly the smile reappeared on Asher's face, "Doll and Tomato, the fantastic mystery solving duo!"

Re: Stay Away from Home

It's okay and it's the holidays too. Hey guys, sorry for not being around. The past week I've been busy due to the Holidays and Job Hunting, and now I am sick. So I'll try to post soon, but don't expect me back until after Christmas okay? Just wanted to keep ya'll updated though.

Re: Stay Away from Home

Well I was doing pretty well, until not even a week into getting out of the hospital I end up with the flu c):
Had to leave work early today. My stomach is not happy with me >.<

However I said I was going to post so post I shall! I'm going to bed right now because the medicine I take for my head make me really drowsy, but I'll post first thing tomorrow as soon as I wake up.

Yeahh...I know I already said I'd post three days ago but I've been really sleepy...

....Ehh...sorry again >< I think I apologize too much.

Re: Stay Away from Home

OMG!!! I hope you're feeling better. I was in a car wreck myself some years ago and wasn't on the web for almost a week. I was okay too but it was a very close call. Take your time!

Re: Stay Away from Home

Hey everyone. So..I was sort of in a car accident about 12 days ago and just got out of the hospital earlier this afternoon. Don't worry because I'm totally okay! Just wanted to apologize for disappearing for a while without saying anything, but the hospital didn't have free wifi...so I was kinda stuck.

I can't really post right now because I've been on for longer than I should be and my head is hurting but I'll be getting on tomorrow and I'll post with Jesi okay!

Seriously I am SO sorry for disappearing like that ><

Re: Stay Away from Home

Oh god am I supposed to post?
...
I forgot Izumi died. I was waiting.
Ohmygosh I'm sorry ;_;
On Monday.
On Monday I'll post.

Re: Stay Away from Home

Boy and I thought Jesi was scary. I'll post later today (it's nearly 2 am here and I need to be in bed lol).

Um Lovebird, Ivory's font color was very hard to read due to the green almost blending in with the blue. I had to get up close to the screen to read it. It gave me a small headache. You might want to use a darker tone for that char.

Re: Stay Away from Home

Technically speaking, they are... But if they don't get back to the original Earth soon, they won't be.

Hey I posted! Is everyone getting pretty excited now? I hope so, cause I'm gonna have to ask for everyone to try and stay alive this time. Just for a few posts, until everyone gets off the planet. Then you can die when ever you want.

So now that everyone knows basically the same thing, I better start thinking up some more plot twists... Oh, there we go. Already thought of one.

Re: Stay Away from Home

Dang, that's damn good. So what about Aster and Krysta? Are they still 'alive'?

Re: Stay Away from Home

YES TRUTH POST

Anyway I'm just going to copy and paste what Lovebird told me okay?

Here you are!~

They, as in, THE BOSS of science, decided not to tamper with the original humans. Too fragile of a design. He decided to use a special technique of studying, that could or could not have ever worked.
They decided to Copy the earth. They scanned the Earth for years. Studying it from afar, without getting too far in range. Once they gathered up enough info, they decided begin.

They picked an inhabited planet of unintelligent life and bombed it. They scanned it, calculated their placements, and began to paste.

THE BOSS has a secret machine he uses to create copy's of worlds he deems worthy of being copied. So on may eighteenth, 6:34 AM, they pasted.

The process worked almost perfectly. The planet was stable, it orbited at a normal pace. Almost like the original, except....Something strange was going on. Strange life signs read from the new earth, and they weren't human. Jesi was sent out to check out the planet, and report through message about anything she learned about. Yori on the other hand, is told to stay at ground control.

Yori doesn't like this. Something suspicious is happening where Jesi is, but nobody's getting any communications. Jesi's stuck in orbit around the weird new planet. Yori wants to go save her, but THE BOSS stops him personally. They get into a fight, Yori gets stabbed and the boss thinks he's dead, blah blah blah......But Yori sneaks off to the escape pods, still bleeding, and takes one. He goes straight towards earth and passes out on the way there.

Because jesi is now regaining communications from THE BOSS, saying Yori caused a malfunction in the system, causing all humans on earth to die. All that's left is now those creatures that were they before they pasted.

But Yori had proof that a human was still alive...! but then... the creatures came and devoured her. He's lost an alone again...

Re: Stay Away from Home

(*Whispers* Spoiler alert: Jesi and Asher are the only ones who survive~)

Re: Stay Away from Home

... hm, I guess I should probably post...

Re: Stay Away from Home

Argh. I'm actually quite busy right now. After I'm done testing out my new Tablet pen I gotta do my homework. But Truth and Beauty are free to tell you anything I've told them, since, I haven't even given them the original reason of why everything got so screwed up.

In good time my RP buddies, in good time.

Re: Stay Away from Home

Lol yeah you don't have to tell me everything if you don't want to.

And oh gosh, sibling rivalry! That's going to be a lot of drama!

Re: Stay Away from Home

Hey good to see you back Zodia ^^

And yeahh...you've told Truth and I what is going on so Zodia should know too now that it's just us three left. There'll be less confusion that way and you don't have to tell her everything if youdont want to, just the jist of it.

Also yes I am antagonist muahahahaha

Re: Stay Away from Home

Oho, Bird, I think you should tell Zodia the spoilers....

Re: Stay Away from Home

So we're going to have an actual antagonist than? Now is there a reason why nothing happened to the humans that are left?

Re: Stay Away from Home

Welcome back! So glad you posted now, so that this RP doesn't have to loose another important character.

And yes, Izumi really did get killed off. My bloodlust level was getting too high. If Iezobel really had any trouble with this, I can let her be another human. One of the few humans that got kidnapped by one of my newest characters, Ivory.

Re: Stay Away from Home

Uhhh, did Izumi really just get killed off? Can you tell me more about these beasts too?

Re: Stay Away from Home

Okay I am very sorry for keeping ya'll waiting. I'll be posting asap. I hate to keep ya'll waiting. Thanks for your patience.
