Introduction

Back in Wonderland

“My my, you’ve been gone quite some time little ones, all grown up. I would say it brings a tear to my eye but I’m not that much of an emotional person. What brought you back here you say? Well of course, it’s the dark ones. Yes them, they’ve been here toiling up trouble and I guess you just sort of popped up. Well, it was nice seeing you while you’re still here, but I highly doubt I will see you again when they chop your heads off. Farewell...”

Yes, it really has been some time since you’ve been back to wonderland, you special four. It’s been around 12 years hasn’t it?

Set in modern day Wonderland, Aladdin, Alice, Snow White, and Peter Pan have fallen down the rabbit hole once more, trapped finding a way how to get out of Wonderland. They left when their parents had cast them out of wonderland after threats of being killed by the ruling four, and they lived out their day as close friends in the human world, having no recollection of who they really where, as they were all young toddlers when they had left. But when they get back, the memories flood back. It’s as beautiful as they all remember, but something’s off, something seems more eerie. It seems the evil four have come together, and they are after the good ones. For some strange reason, ever since they where kids these immortal beings have always been after them as they are becoming stronger than the evil four by the day, even when they were in the human world. This is there story.

As the four arrive, they move into Aladdins old secluded family home in the forest, hiding and trying to protect themselves as they come to realize there own powers. But the evil four are watching, plotting, teasing them. Waiting to strike.

“There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so,” Spoke Aliza softly underneath her breath as she tightened her small clutch on the crinkled aged book in her hand, Hamlet by William Shakespeare. Looking up, she turned around to look at the silently reading class, noticing that even her English teacher was at her desk paying little attention as she read. Being as hushed as a mouse, she sank out of her chair and grabbed her bag before slipping out. She sat at the desk right beside the door, as she did every other class, as she always had a tendency to just leave unnoticed. Sighing a bit as she walked into the empty and cold looking hall, she slipped the book into her bag. She had read the book many times over the past years, and didn’t feel like she needed to be in the class doing so again. Doing a slight skip down the hall way, she did a small twirl once or twice, before bumping right into a teacher. She knew him, and it was one of those teacher that often yelled at her for her little care and seriousness. “Oh dear! So sorry, sir.” She spoke, her light British accent adding a bit of charisma to her voice as she smiled. “I feel a tad dizzy, so I should really step outside, good day!” She called back to him, as she continued her way out the front doors. Her voice was probably loud enough that it seeped into other classrooms, and she mentally slapped herself for her carelessness.

Letting out a long breath of air as the cool fall air hit her when she stepped outside, she leaned against the cool stone wall of the school. Checking the watch on her wrist, it read one thirty PM on the dot. Dropping her wrist, she closed her eyes letting the cool wind hit her face. She didn’t feel like going back in the school. Her English class was going to be over soon, and the only class she had left was Math. She didn’t really feel like going to that class either. Her mother often got upset at her with that, she had almost perfect test scores and work scores, but her attendance was positively atrocious. She often just shrugged it off.

“I should probably go home and pack, yet if I do that Mother would get aggravated that I’m home early...” She spoke to herself. She was going on a camping trip after school, it was a long weekend so her and the group had decided to do something. They never really had all went camping together, and she figured something would go horribly wrong, but it really didn’t matter to her. She felt bad though because it took her mom all the courage to let her go. She was seventeen, nearly eighteen, but ever since her father died around three years ago, she had always told her that she was all she had, and that if anything happened to her that she would be all alone. She almost guilted Aliza into not going with that spiel. Yet, her friends were more convincing with their point that her mother would get over it and that nothing would really happen in which they would get harmed.

“What to do, what to do.” She sighed, looking around the personless, yet tree filled front entrance to the school. Moving away from the wall, she walked around the trees in a maze like pattern, turning and twisting around them boredly. Grabbing onto the tiny trunk of one of the trees, she twisted around it, but lost her footing and fell onto her butt, saying a small “oomph.” Her long blonde hair flew wildly around her face, almost like a lions main. Staying seated on the ground, she smoothed her hair back down, the sleeves of her sweater covering over her hands.

"And you, Miss Blanchard?" Professor Dixon called her from the front of the classroom and Mina glanced up from her reading to stare the man into the face. The irritation from being interrupted from a seriously good book must have shown on his face because any other word he had at the tip of his smart tongue fell for a brief moment. However, he gathered himself smoothly and glared at her expectantly. "Perhaps you have an opinion on last night's reading." Mina smirked, uncrossing her left leg over the right to switch and cross the right over the left.

"I thought that last night's reading had nothing to do with our chapter about colonialism from a few days before and that you assigned it because our paper isn't due until next Friday and you were upset because everyone made you curve the last test," she replied, dead seriousness in her honey-brown eyes. A few classmates snickered at her response and Professor Dixon silently fumed at his desk. "Any more questions, Professor?" He pointed towards the door and Mina smirked. "Right. I have to wait outside until class is over for you to talk to me. Well, see you on Monday, guys." Mina gathered her things and straightened out her outfit, being sure that her skirt hadn't risen up too much. Satisfied, she walked down the aisle, waved politely to her teacher and was out the door.

Was it that much of a surprise that she wasn't the good girl her father painted her to be? No, not really. She was the apple of her father's eye and she was a good girl - just not all the time. Who had time for that? Especially with people who just like to assert their dominance over you? Professor Dixon was one of those people and Mina made it her missiont to aggravate him as much as possible. Besides, it wasn't like he was going to do anything about it. Hell, there was nothing he could do! She had near perfect attendance and an A- in his class.

Once further down the hallway, Mina leaned against the wall and pulled out her cell phone, texting Aliza and inquiring where the girl was. She told her that she was out of class and her last class was cancelled. Thinking quickly, Mina decided to include the boys in the message and sent it. Sighing, she stuffed her book into her bag and waited.

A few blocks away from the school, the local park was busy as usual. Little children ran around and screaming at their friends as they played. Parents were busy gossiping with each other as they still kept an eye on their children. A auburn haired male sat under the peaceful shade of the tall tree. He looked up at the orange tree as they fell little by little creating small hills around him. He should be in class solving math problems but Prince was far too excited about the long weekend. He decided today was a sick day and spent the whole morning packing essentials for the camping trip. Once he was finished he decided to spend the rest of his afternoon out doors climbing some trees to practice his "survival skills" in the wilderness. To be honest he just wanted to show off to the group that he was still be best climber.

He rolled up the sleeves of his green sweater, feeling a bit tired from the brief climb. "I'm getting out of shape." he sighed to himself as he watched another leaf fall and land onto his lap. Aside from being excited about the trip, he was more nervous than anything. But he was unsure why. Perhaps it was the thought of camping in the outdoors or the fact that all four of them would be hiking in the woods or that they all would try to fit in the small fort. Or maybe it was he would see Mina again. A small chuckle escaped his lips as he shook his head. He suddenly felt a light vibration in his pocket. He slipped out the phone and smiled. "Speak of the devil." He chuckled to himself as he typed out a reply stating that he would meet her and Aliza at the school's entrance. He slipped the phone back into his jeans pocket and stood up, dusting his rear end as he walked towards the school.

As he approached the courtyard of the school he caught sight of a familiar figure. "That's not the right way to climb." He laughed seeing the blonde on the ground. "You have to use your arms more than your legs." He rolled up his sweater's sleeved and jogged towards the tree. With ease he scaled up the trunk and pulled himself up a branch sitting on it he gave the most arrogant smile he could make. "Easy." He teased Aliza looking down at her from the high branch.

In an action that was completely uncharacteristic, Isaac Ali, better known to his friends as Aladdin, is attending class today. He has a reputation for ditching school without even the smallest of reasons, and this tendency of his is precisely what has led to him having to repeat all of the classes of his Junior year. Rather than moving up with the rest of his classmate, the majority of whom he can't recall the last name of, he was stuck hanging back, with the promise that next time, the punishment would be remedial classes or being sent to the county's school for less cooperative students. Skipping enough school to take up nearly an entire marking period, the young man is incredibly fortunate that he wasn't sent there immediately. Lord knows they are more than willing, typically, to ship the kid who is already known for being a bit of a handful to foster homes off to some sort of correctional institute. In the end, however, he was simply held back for the reason that he had somehow managed to get himself to be declared an independent, though still a ward of the state to some extent- the young man is a lot more convincing in person than on paper, and has a special gift for talking his way out of things.

And thus, he is sitting through Pre-calculus once more, learning about graphing logarithms for the third time in his life. Perhaps learning is too kind a word, in fact- he is barely even attempting to feign such engagement. Rather, his eyes are noticeably glazed over as he stares blankly at the board, miraculously keeping his eyelids from dropping down and bringing him to sleep right then and there. Actually, in that matter the lad is not given quite enough credit. In fact, it is not by some miracle that his eyelids do not shut- it is thanks to dedicated practice towards the skill. The task has proven much more useful than any of the English homeworks he has tried to tackle before. Of course, in his eyes, anything is superior to English class. Grammar, writing, and comprehension have never been his strong suits, after all. Only due to lucky guessing has he been able to avoid going to the remedial reading classes. This is something achieved by the very skin of his teeth, as the saying goes.

Having no patience for cliches, to the same extent that he has no patience for class, Aladdin is very willingly distracted by the buzz in his pocket. He sits in the perfect position to be completely ignored despite a less than sterling reputation- the young man has it down to a science, really. Not quite in the back, but nearly there, and just a bit off center. He sits near the people who are too intelligent to feel the need to raise their hand for every question- near the freshmen who were part of a special curriculum that resulted in them starting their high school career with the last non-AP math class this particular school had in its lineup. Their presence is not mocking to Aladdin, but rather a source of relief- they are the perfect people to sit near if he wants to avoid being called on. They are the ones who perhaps answered questions once and a while, but only out of irritation over the lack of answers coming from other students. Aladdin hid among them, mimicking their almost arrogant looks of disinterest and hoping that the teacher wouldn't realize that 'one of these students is not like the others.'

Are you prepared to be proud? I'm in class. And you? Are we skipping? Because that is something I can definitely get behind, Aladdin responds to Mina, better known as Snow or Snow White, and her brief text. He slips the phone back into his pocket and leans slightly over a page of work, pretending that it is the homework from last night, and not the classwork he's been using for this very act since the beginning of the marking period.

Without awaiting confirmation, Aladdin raises his hand, catching the attention of the teacher- substitute, actually. The normal precalc teacher is currently on pregnancy leave, as it would happen. Without hesitating, the substitute allows him to go to the bathroom- not realizing that he doesn't bring anything with him because he comes to school with little more than a couple of folded up pieces of notebook paper and a pen.

"Thank you, ma'am," he says to her, ducking out of the room and, not long after, out of the school, to meet the sight of Alize and Prince. He's always thought Prince a really weird name to go by, and has told the boy this multiple times.

"Hey- was I invited late to the party?" he asks, raising an eyebrow and smiling slightly. The young man appears relatively unfazed by Prince's location in the tree.

As she finished taming her hair down, she heard a soft bell chime come from her bag, signalling that she had a text. Still sitting on the soft, grass ground, she opened up her bag and rummaged through the junk she had in there. Grabbing out the phone, she opened up the text from Mina and she saw she added the guys into. ‘Tsk tsk Snow! Did you get kicked out again?’ She texted back, saying it in an obviously joking way. She was going to add more, before a familiar voice interrupted her thoughts.

Rolling her eyes, she crossed her arms over her chest, still not getting up from her place on the ground. “Oh I wasn’t trying to climb the tree, monkey boy, I stumbled over my impractical two left feet.” She spoke the British intonation of her voice clear. “And let’s be honest, that the worst way to try and impress a girl, peter.” She teased giving a wink, using his nick name. They all had one, it was just something they all simply came up with one day. She couldn't exactly remember why, it just always had been that way. Prince was Peter, or Peter pan, Mina was Snow, or snow white, Issac was Aladdin, and Aliza was Alice. To others it seemed rather confusing, but to them it was just as natural as their real names; it was actually probably more natural to them their real names.

Finally pushing herself up, getting off the ground. Looking up, she got off the topic and said rather excitedly “Oh! I have another riddle for you!” This was something she particularly loved to do, she came up with masses and masses of them. She remembered when she was young it was just simply something she did with her father, making games of them. That love for the hard thought answers stuck with her even after his sudden death only a few years back.. “I am mother and father, but never birth or nurse. I’m rarely still, but I never wander. What am I?” She spoke her voice a little sing-songy, as she walked around the tree once. A voice interrupted her train of thought once more, and she turned her attention to Aladdin as he said “Hey- was I invited late to the party?”

Laughing, she said “Oh yes,” and then remember to finish her text to Snow. Quickly taking out her phone, she sent a quick 'We are all outside in the front!' and gave one of those smiley emoticons at the end. Turning her attention back to the two boys, she smiled and said “Who’s excited to live in the woods for a couple days.”

Prince scrunched up his face into a childish frown at the new name that the blonde gave to him. "PA-LEASE!" He said in a loud tone as he scooted closer to the truck of the tree swinging his left onto the other side, now straddling the large branch. "Girls totally love high trees i mean didn't you watch Tarzan and that cheesy movie about the vampires?" He gave a large smirk remembering the dreaded day he thought watching a vampire romance would be entertaining.

His grin grew wider hearing a familiar voice. "Skipped another day, aye Al?" He called over from above the high branch. He wasn't at all surprise to see the male "finish early" often times he would be the one to cover up for the male when teachers questioned him. 'Oh he just has diarrhea' or 'He has to take a make up test for our other class' Were his usual answers to the educators. Other times he would just shrug and answer 'I'm not his mother' sending him straight to an hour's worth of detention.

Peter use to be a good student, he use to be in the same classes as Aliza. He attended every class, joined every sports club and would recite often--even if his answers were wrong. Despite being mister popularity for the first month, he refused to do homework and refused to study. All he wanted was to play sports or debate about weather or not uniforms should be worn in public schools. He was intelligent--in someways-- but very lazy. Thanks to his laziness his grade dropped and his family thought it was appropriate to send him in a school for troubled teens.

Prince raised his hand at Aliza's question. "Obviously! I haven't been there in ages." He looked over at Aliza with a mischievous smirk. "But I have a feeling you'd be complaining the entire time." He laughed imagining the blond's whining--which she probably might not do. He suddenly stopped laughing when he realized that Mina still hasn't come out. Perhaps she was waiting for someone to accompany her? The male swung his leg over the branch again and quickly dropped from the tall branch. He landed in a crouching position and have his leg a quick shake.

"I'm gonna look for Snow." He said jogging to the entrance. "I won't get in trouble right? I mean I use to study here." With out waiting for an answer he slipped into the school. It wasn't long before he found the female leaning on the wall. "Hey, did you get lost already?" He snickered at the female.

Mina was just about to walk away when Professor Dixon popped his head out of the classroom. She froze, peeking at him from over her shoulder before fixing him with a raised eyebrow.

"I thought I told you to wait outside my classroom until class ended, Miss Blanchard." Mina rolled her eyes and turned around fully, clasping her phone tightly to her back as she felt it buzz with responses from her friends.

"My Dad says he wants me home early. He's got a, uh, hunting trip planned and he wanted to make sure I was home before he went," she explained, painting on one of the most believable looks of innocence and sincerity she could muster. Professor Dixon didn't look like he was buying it.

"Well, I will call Walter and see that for myself." It took all of Mina's strength and willpower not to widen her eyes or visibly freak out. But inwardly, she already knew she was going to be in serious trouble if she didn't. With a look of satisfaction on his face, Professor Dixon waltzed back into his classroom and Mina slumped against the wall once more. She pulled her phone out in front of her, smirking at Aladdin's text before pulling up her father's number and calling him. Mr. Blanchard was the town sheriff, one of the most revered and well-liked men of town. Hunting was one of his favorite hobbies and Mina knew that he was going to go some time this weekend, but her little fib needed help. She gulped when her father answered.

"Hey, Snow. Aren't you in class?" She didn't answer and he sighed over the phone, causing Mina to grin just slightly. Her father never truly stayed upset with her. It was rare for him to even be angry with her. "What did you do?"

"I might have said that I didn't wait outside of Mr. Dixon's classroom because I said that you called to tell me to come home early because you're going on a hunting trip this weekend," Mina squeaked out in a rush, tugging her lower lip with her teeth. Mr. Blanchard chuckled on the other end and Mina's grin widened.

"Phil messin' with ya again, huh? I'll handle him. You just be safe this weekend." Mina nodded as if he could see her before answering.

"Sure thing. Love you, Daddy, and thanks." Just finishing with her call, Mina was just about to turn around when a familiar voice rang out in the hallway.

"Hey, did you get lost already?" It was followed by one of Prince's signature snickers and Mina smiled brightly before turning around, an eyebrow raised.

"And would the great Peter Pan come to my rescue if I were?" She inquired.

"Who's excited to live in the woods for a couple of days?" Alice asks, prompting a grin from Isaac, because the mention of their camping plans only makes him more enthusiastic about them, as it happens. "Well, they likely are cleaner than my usual place of residence, at least- and twice as safe," he adds the last bit as an afterthought of sorts, because his apartment isn't exactly on the squeaky clean side of town. One can only afford so much when they are expected to attend school now and again as well- and when they have the habit of buying more food than any average person should be able to eat. Most of his money goes towards food, if not all of it. After all, it's a good deal more important, especially to Isaac, than whether the roof over one's head happens to be just a little bit leaky.

Looking up at Prince, who is unsurprisingly up in a tree, Isaac raises an eyebrow and cross his arms. He had been coming up to the duo just as Prince had spoken about Tarzan and vampires, and in fact can say that he had participated in a shared agony with Prince in watching the vampire romance. To be fair, he doesn't own a computer, and therefore it was less convenient to look for reviews of what had ultimately been a complete waste of twelve dollars. "Of course- can't keep them guessing too much, can I? Consistency is a step towards responsibility," he recites the last part like a kindergartner who knows they will receive candy if the words are said correctly, and therefore speeds through them to more quickly reach their sugary reward. For added effect, his hands are clasped together behind his back during the little recitation, and he rocks back and forth on his feet.

Immediately upon finishing, his arms are hanging freely by his sides once more- until one reaches up and runs through his admittedly tangled hair, anyway. This begins a brief but noble struggle to try and tug out a knot in his hair, one that ends when he decides that it simply isn't worth it- quite rightly, of course.

His mouth curves back into a smile that nearly crosses the boundary into laughter when Peter claims that Alice would likely complain the entire way. He's more concerned that she'll trip over every single root, rock, and stick they come in contact to. This concern may not be completely founded, but at some point over the course of their friendship, Isaac had gotten it into his head that Alize is a bit of a klutz when in an environment with lots to look at- so curious is she that she can't seem to help looking at everything, except for the ground in front of her. That's what he's decided, anyway.

"I'm gonna go look for Snow," Prince announces before slipping away and into the school, leaving Isaac and Alize behind at the tree, where they will have to wait for Peter and Snow.

"Hard to remember he's the eldest of the bunch, eh?" Isaac remarks, rather idly, as he stares up in the tree, deciding whether or not to climb it himself. At that moment, he decides to spend at least one night of their camping trip sleeping in a tree. He'll tie himself up there, or something. Something will be figured out, though he doesn't know exactly what it will be quite yet. Figuring it out is part of the fun when it comes to things like these- riddles and the like, on the other hand, are quite difficult for the lad. That's perhaps why Alize rarely gives them to him- she's long since learned that he isn't a riddle sort of guy.

"And how about you, Miss Alice? Ready for a few days of trees and smoking hotdogs?" he inquires, still smiling in a relaxed sort of way, which is to say, a bit lopsided.

Alice just shook her head laughing at his comment. If she could have, she would have went on a very long, detailed speech vocalizing to him that those stories were pure fiction and not of the real world where that would impress a girl who loves the jungle, or one with little to no emotion at all, but she decided to stick to a uncomplicated, simple remark. “Well then Tarzan, why don’t you inform me when you pick up a girl then, hmm?” She said with a devious type of smile, before chipping in once more, “and for the record, I turned that silly vampire movie off about half way in.”

She couldn’t help but smile at Aladdin’s commentary on his skipping classes. Most often times, he and Aliza would skip together. The two were almost notorious to the other teachers as they would just simply never be there. But with this shared trait, came differences. For Aliza, she would easily catch up on her work and get tremendous marks on all her tests and projects. Also, Instead of coming up with excuses to leave class and such like Aladdin would, she would merely just get up at leave at points where she would go unnoticed. This caused teachers to keep an especially watchful eye on her, but in the split second they turned away, she would most likely be gone.

Crossing her arms over her chest, she rocked back and forth on her heels. Rocking back to far, she let out a little squeak and held out her arms frantically waving them to try and balance herself, in which she luckily did and caught herself before she tumbled back. It wasn’t unknown to those around her that she in fact wasn’t the most stable of people on her feet. Well, at least when she wasn’t concentrating on it. She had gotten less klutzy as she had grown older, most likely from the training she had to undergo with fencing. The better of shape she was in, the better she would hold herself up.

“Oh no no no! I shan’t complain!” She exclaimed, looking dead serious. “If I could I would stay there months on end, it’s so much more interesting, you barely ever come across the same thing twice, everything is new, all the animals, its brilliant!” She smiled excitingly to the both of them, now almost not being able to contain her anticipation. “Aladdin, do you think you could teach me how to build a fire?” She asked questioningly. She had always wanted to be able to make on with her own two small hands. Her mother though had always never wanted her daughter to learn, afraid that she would accidentally set their house on fire.
As Peter left to find snow, he left Aladdin and her alone awaiting their return. Chuckling lightly at his comment, she said “No one would ever guess he would be.” Peter and Alice often times just teased each other, competing against each other with the silliest things like they had when they were just small kids.

Clasping her hands together, she smiled brightly. “This is going to be the best weekend ever, I can just feel it.” She spoke hopefully. ”You two, Aliza and Isaac. Aren’t you supposed to be in class?” Came a booming voice from behind them, making Alice jump a bit. Turning around, she matched the voice to the face, Professor Peterson, the teacher she unexpectedly ran into in the halls a little bit earlier. Not knowing what to really say, she just let out a small “Uhm..."

"And would the great Peter Pan come to my rescue if I were?" Mina asked to the smirking Prince.

In response he scrunched up his nose and shook his head. "Nah, I'll just laugh and watch you run around like a lost puppy." He said in a cocky tone as he approached the girl. For a brief moment he looked over the female's shoulder, making sure that no one was there to hear them. He was fully aware that all of four of them had ditched class, though he wasn't at all surprise. There were times that Peter would taunt Snow into skipping class just to bother her. But unlike snow Peter didn't have 'back up'. Often he would be caught and sent to detention--where he had made a permanent seat close to the window, his ales scratched into the desk's plastic surface.

"It's good to see that you escaped smoothly," He said sarcastically, having heard the teacher before he found the female. "Aren't you lucky daddy helped you out?" He teased the female like an immature little boy. He chuckled silently taking large steps and stood beside Mina. He stuck out his arm offering to lead her back to the others.

Despite the teasing and immature insults, Prince was indeed a caring--at rare occasions. He walked with the female side by side, ducking often and hiding his face from the windows. He was an old student from this school and he was sure that if he was caught, he'd get into serious trouble in his current school. He chuckled a few times seeing a few familiar teachers who were too engrossed in their lecture to notice. "He's still here? I'm surpised he still likes this place." he whispered to Mina biting down on his lip to stop himself from laughing.

The laughter stopped as he spotted a large figure just outside of the entrance. He let out a silent curse as he stared at the adult's back side. Perhaps Peter Pan had to save the day after all. He slipped his arm out of Mina's grasp, placed both hands on his side and puffed out his chest--a stance would often do before saying a speech or preform on stage. "Drama club, don't fail me now." He said almost inaudible voice.

He then took Mina's hand and practically ran into the teacher. "I-i'm sorry! Aliza, Issac I found Mina we have to hurry!" He said as his eyes were fill with a mixture of dread and panic.

"What is the meaning of this, Mr. Pandora? You're not even suppose to be here." The teacher spat out angrily at him.
"Mina's father told all of us to get Mina home," He choked out as he looked at the other two. The teacher was about to doubt the male but he snapped back "Do you think think I would joke about this?" Squeezed Mina's hand as if telling her to play along. Perhaps it was Peter's very convincing acting or his boyish charm, but somehow the teacher gave a single nod letting them go.

"Run." He mouthed silently to the other two before taking off with Mina in hand.

Mina guffawed at Prince's response, placing her hands on her hips. When he made a jab at her about her Dad coming to her rescue, Snow punched his shoulder playfully, meanwhile trying to push down the blush that arose to her cheeks. What could she say? She was Daddy's little girl! It wasn't her fault that she knew that she could count on her father to come to her rescue. Still smirking at Prince, Mina linked her arm through his and allowed the boy to lead her down the hall and to their friends.

Just as Mina got done with laughing about Prince pointing out a teacher, he stopped and she followed his gaze to the entrance. Her eyes widened as well and she glanced at Prince to see him puffing out his chest like a fake-me-out Superman or something. Mina chuckled as he mumbled something. She nearly yelled out in surprise when he grabbed her hand and practically yelled at the teacher about finding her and they having to hurry. When the teacher demanded what was happening, Mina just gaped for a moment, mouth opening and closing like a fish as she struggled momentarily to catch on to what Prince was doing. After awhile, however - and a quick squeeze to her hand - she understood.

"Please, I have to get home," Mina cried, voice only slightly wavering as the sudden need to call upon all of the acting Gods hit her. Sure, Mina could lie well. But when caught off guard like this, not that well. Luckily, she was exuding enough worry to convince said teacher. "I'm sorry, we really have to go." As soon as the teacher nodded and Prince gave her the go ahead, she ran.

A few moments later, they were near their other two friends who were currently being cornered. Mina put back on the worried face.

"Guys, come on! We have to get home to my Dad," she called, capturing the teacher's attention. She glared half-heartedly at Professor Peterson. "Sir, please! My Dad said I needed to get home and this involves them too. Please." Mina didn't even realize she was still holding Prince's hand.

When Alize seems as though she's about to fall back, Isaac takes an instinctive step forward, likely with the intentions of catching her should she actually tumble out. Luckily, the girl recovers her balance. That being said her near-fall does serve to conform Isaac's fear that she might trip over a branch or something in the woods and hurt herself. Yes, that would be just like something that the girl would do. How it is that she manages to maintain sterling grades, despite being absent as frequently as he, with that absent-mind of her is beyond Isaac. In fact, he'd be lying if he said that this uncanny tendency of hers was not something that he envied quite a bit. Unlike her, he has to deal with the normal consequences of never being in class- having only the most rudimentary understanding of the material, and therefore getting Cs and Ds in most or all of his classes. But, this is all somewhat beside the point of the current matter- which is discussing their highly anticipated weekend trip, which is finally upon them.

"How to build a fire?" Isaac looks at Alice with a fair dose of skepticism- after all, she is known for being a bit clumsy, and if anyone among the group of four were to start a forest fire, he's quite certain it would be Alice. "How about we figure things out when we get there, 'kay?" Regardless of whether he feels Alice will be able to make a fire, Isaac is quite confident in his own firebuilding skills. He's had a knack for survival and escape ever since he was a young boy- Alice may know how to ace tests, but Aladdin is certain that he'd do a better job of living on the streets than she.

At Alize's anticipation, Isaac begins to grin- an almost action which is brought to a grinding halt by the booming voice that comes from behind he and Alice. A familiar voice, unfortunately. Still, Isaac isn't too concerned- he has an impressive track record as far as getting away from teachers and truancy officers go. "Oh, hello sir. Did you n-" he begins to lay down a story, but Peter, naturally, has to come in and steal the show- clearly putting his acting skills to use. It takes physical effort for Isaac not to smirk at Peter playing a card that each of them have at some point or another- Mr. Blanchard. Mentioning Mina's father, the town sheriff, is practically a get-out-of-school-free card, especially if Mina is with you. No one wants to doubt the Sheriff's baby girl, after all.

Peter and Mina's excuses are all the opening Isaac needs- and when Peter gives the cue to run, he grabs Alize's hand and drags her behind him in the sprint off campus. "Your dad always comes in handy, Snow," Isaac comments, beginning to slow down to a walk once more. He grins, clearly grateful for the resource.

Aliza’s throat seemed to seal up on her as the two others approached and began making lying excuses to the professor.. It seemed to her like the scene unraveling before her was all just some untruthful fest. She knew it was needed if they were to get away, yet she still felt completely uncomfortable by all of it. It was blatantly obvious to her that all three of them where lying. Not just because she knew they were because she knew the truth and was a part of it, but there was just little signs to everyone when they did fib, and it was almost impossible for some to lie to Alice because she knew all the signs.

Feeling a tug on her hand, she looked down to see that Aladdin had grabbed her hand. She had honestly just blanked out after a bit to everything and wasn’t paying attention, yet she caught up pretty quick to what they were doing when they all started running, herself being towed along by Aladdin. Going along with it, she slowed when he did. “Oh dear,” She laughed a bit, looking at the three.

“You’re father’s the best.” Alice commented with a laugh to snow. “But speaking of parents, I should probably go home and pack and speak with my mother, to bad she’s not so lenient.” She sighed. Her mother was a stickler for the rules, and she prayed that she would actually still let her go camping even though she evidently cut class. She had always been a little stringent but more so now that she was a single parent. She often laughed at times because her Mom had always been strict with the other three as well like they where her own kids. “So meet by the old fort, alright?” She smiled, before walking away, but as she tried, she realized that her hand was still in Aladdin’s, and she slightly snapped back. “Oops.” She surprise, before letting go, “Alright, now when I take my leave.” She stated again, and walked away towards the direction of her home.

Approaching the door of the small, cottage looking blue home, she stood there for a second hoping her mother wasn’t quite home yet. Taking in a log breath, she opened the dark oak wooden door, and dropped her bag on the ground, and began walking the stairs, but stopped midway as she heard the soft voice with the same British accent she herself held, call from the kitchen ”Aliza, is that you? clearing her throat a bit, she made her way back down the stairs, and walked into the kitchen “Yes, mother.” She said, glancing up at her with her light blue eyes trying to almost look innocent. ”If I’m not mistaken, I believe you had one more class, correct? Her mother asked, eyebrow raised. “Yes, well-“she tried to spit out an excuse, but there really wasn’t one. ”Aliza.” Her mother groaned. ”I told you no more. Good grades are useless without good attendance. She scolded her, Aliza getting a guilty feeling in the pit of her stomach. She never wanted her mother to feel disappointed in her. She was the only family she had and the only one who had been there. Her mother knew everything about her, nothing had been kept, and her mother could always tell her emotions through her plausibly impossible to read face. “I’m sorry, I promise I’ll try harder for you.” She smiled, going on her tip toes to kiss her on the cheek. Her mother almost started to protest again, but Aliza went and ran up the stairs before she could.

Opening up her door, she quickly shut it behind her and slid down she was sitting, her back resting against its cool surface. “I should really pack quickly.” She told herself, glancing around her light room. Her walls where a light blue, her dressings being old antiques painted over with white and silver paint. The color scheme of it all always reminded her of the sky filled with clouds. Getting up, she moved over to pick up a back pack for the ground, and began filling it with warm clothes from her drawers, and other necessities she thought she might need. She didn’t bring a lot, knowing it would only be a couple days.

Opening up her door prepared the leave, she stopped for a second, putting her hand on the locket that rested on her neck. It was oval shaped, and was black and white. In it held a picture of her dad, her mom getting it for her the day after he had died. She never ever took it off, but now that maybe she should leave it home at the risk of her losing it. But the thought quickly dissolved. It was too much of a comfort item for her to leave.

Running back down the stairs, she bumped into her mom, and gave her a hug. “Alright, I’m leaving!” She smiled, but then looked confused at the serious look that played on her moms face. “What’s wrong?” She asked, curiously, a little concerned. ”Aliza, be careful alright? Just... Don’t get hurt and come back to me in one piece?” Giving a reassuring look to her, she said “Mom, I promise. I’ll be back soon, don’t worry too much alright? I’ll have my phone with me, you can call me whenever. I might hit some spots with a signal.” She said truthfully, and then left out the door, yelling back behind her, “Love you!”

Slipping on her head phones, she turned on a song, The Suburbs by Arcade Fire, and began walking the old route to the fort. It didn’t take a long time to get there, only about ten minutes. It was at the entrance to the eastern woods in the town, it wasn’t a very secretive place. Looking at the old surroundings, it brought a small smile to her face.

Prince P. Pandora

As soon as the school was far from view the smirking Prince slowed to a stop and looked over his shoulder being sure the other two followed after him. "You've got a lot of explaining to do to your dad." he said between heavy breaths from the short run and the light adrenalin pumping in his veins. Sure, there wasn't anything exciting about running down the road or lying to a teacher. But for Peter Pan everything was an adventure and escaping from the school felt like a prison escape--which is probably the reason why he does it. He looked over at Mina, about to give her naother witty line, but suddenly realized his hand still holding onto hers. He slowly slid his hand away from her fingers as his pale cheeks turned to a brief shade of pink--a rare reaction from the all too proud Peter Pan. "N-next time, you should work on your acting more." He teased the girl, hiding the light blush with a mischievous grin.

His grin grew wider as he looked over at the raven haired girl. His smirk grew to a serious frown hearing Aliza's farewell. Unlike her, he didn't have to hurry home. It wasn't like anyone was waiting for him back at the condominium. That and he had already spent the whole day packing, there was nothing else for him to do and he didn't feel like siting for two hours in the empty space. But it doesn't seem like he had an option.

He nodded and gave a slight wave at the girl. "We'll see you there, Alice." He flashed his award winning grin before looking over at the other two.

"I guess you two have to hurry too. I doubt that any of you packed yet. You slackers better hurry. " He said chuckling mischievously. He then slipped his hands into his pants pocket and turned on his heels. "I'll see you guys in the woods then, yeah?" He snickered waving his hand before making his way home, whistling to himself.

It wasn't long before he made it to the condominium and was instantly greeted by the loud excited barks, meows and squeaks of his "Lost Boys". To keep himself company, Prince decided to surround himself with pets. Currently his Husky puppy Nibs, barked excitedly running around his legs. Tootles the midnight furred feline jumped from the coffee table greeting his master with meow, awaiting to be pet. On the table far off the wall in a small cage his hedge hog Slightly, peeked from his ball of thorns and sniffed the air around him. Two Teddy Bear Hamsters or the Twins climbed the tubes of their own hamster apartment in excitement. Cubby the white rabbit as small as a teacup as up on it's back legs observing his surroundings. Prince greeted each of his lost boy, giving them either a kiss on the forehead or a scratch behind his ear. He frowned as he searched for the last lost boy. He let out a high bitch whistle ans in an instant a small rat like creature scurried from under the sofa. It ran excitedly under Nibs making the dog bark wildly before finally scurrying to Prince's leg and climbed up his body. Prince smiled as he took the small Sugar glider from his shirt, scratching his head. "There you are Rufio." He chuckled before slipping him into his pocket.

He jogged up the stairs into his room. He grabbed the green pack filled with two days worth of clothes, a few sweaters, two flashlights and a few bags of junk food. He had considered bringing more food to the trip, but he doubt the girls would count frozen pizza an appropriate meal for the trip. He then swiped his favorite portable gaming console and stuffed it into the green backpack. He hoisted his bag over his shoulder and made his way down the stairs. He quickly set out enough food, water, news papers and litter for all of his pets. "I'll be be back soon..." He said to all of them before taking the sugar glider out of his pocket and placing him on the near by counter. Once he said his good byes, he left his home feeling a bit sad for leaving the boys alone again.

He walked down the road. He reached into his pocket smiling as he felt the hard rectangular shape of his lighter. He pulled out the green Lighter, "Hey Tink," He said flicking the flame on and smiling at the small fire he had started. "You'll keep me company later, right?" He smiled as he reached into his other pocket and pulling out a pack of cigarettes. He pulls out one stick and lights it with the small flame. He really shouldn't. He promised many times he would stop. At least he only smoked when it was a special occasion, right? He held the green menthol cancer stick between his lips as he walked down the cold path.
