Personality:
Pearl is very vain, she bases everything on appearances and hates girls prettier than her.
She has a tendency to be nice to someone at first until she has no further need for them, at that point she'll be mean and ridicule you until you leave.
Being a mermaid Pearl thinks she's gorgeous and is the most beautiful being on the planet so, as you may have guessed, she is extremely arrogant.
Although when around boys - such as Peter- Pearl adopts a rather different attitude; she's friendly, bubbly and talkative which can sometime confuse people as her mood suddenly changes.

Although she is all of the above and more, Pearl can sometimes, when feeling vulnerable, be fairly nice and very sensitive.
Yet her obnoxious and fickle side will eventually come back, with a vengeance, and you really don't want to stick around for that.

History: Pearl grew up surrounded by appearance concerned, bitchy, vain mermaids so it was only natural she turn out the same, which, she did.
Her mother neglected to notice her existence and she was never to know which of her mother's one night stands was to be her father.
Although pearl always had a small feeling it could have possibly been the 'amazing', the 'gorgeous' and 'the one and only' Peter Pan.
Her mother was beside herself when the ageing spell diminished and swam off, together with her 'friends' so nobody would see her old - yes, that is how shallow these mermaids are.

Pearl sighed, looking at her brother with his tail up as she was doing on a preparations.
"You know, you could help out once in a while." She says, sicking more starfish to the wall.
Pearl then procedes to push her brother out of his chair and put some shell shaped pillows in his place.
"Go and get the kelp cake, they'll be here any minute." She hisses to him, swimming over to the bathroom she admires her reflection and picks up her coral lipstick, putting some on; then exiting their home.

This was the day that everyone was coming to discuss what was going on and how they could stop - or at least slow down - the ageing spell, they were all coming to Mermaid Lagoon because it seemed to be the place being affected the most, something was happening to their water, something was wrong but no one knew what and the other mermaids were distraught, they couldn't imagine anything worse than their looks being tampered with.

Little did she know those plans would be tampered with by a certain families arrival in Neverland..

Aqua

Aqua was looking in the mirror trying to decide which color shells to wear, it was either that or walk on two feet which wasn't fun at all. Pearl was having a gathering to talk about the aging spell that is going on. In neverland you are supoosed to be young forever, but everyone is growing up. She was excited, but it was still a problem. Finally deciding on the color she swam over to Pearl's. Pearl and Aqua weren't the best of friends, but she was the only family she had considered her mother wasn't around anymore. She was there just in time to see her brother leave. Pearl was doig all the work as usual. Inviting herself in she sat on the floor and played with her fins. "Hiya Pearl." She said acting as if he had been there the entire time.

Pearl smiled at Aqua lightly - No, they weren't best friends but all mermaids stick together and so they were bound to each other and both having the vain trait, they really weren't so different after all.
She hears some sound outside and her smile brightens, she rushes into the bathroom brushing her hair and applying her lipstick once more before going to greet them.

"Ah, Trevor," She smiles brightly seeing him and, oh, his sister, "Lily." She adds on dully to the end, looking around for anyone else.
She then spots one of the lost boys and raises her eyebrow, I thought they didn't really care.She thinks to herself but nevertheless swims over to him, propping her arms up on the large rock where he stood.
"Hello," She smiles, the cool water running over her back, "You must be a lost boy, how adorable."

Swimming back from his assignment, Reef hears people talking and smiles - Maybe Lily would be there?
Lily was probably the only non-mermaid girl that the mermaids had to tolerate because she was the great Peter Pan's daughter and, well, you don't really mess with that do you?

He glances around a corner and sure enough they're there, Reef swims over to Lily, just to catch his sister saying "Lily" and let's just say - She wasn't as thrilled as he was the she was there.

Reef swims closer to Lily and grins, "Lily, it's been to long, did you miss me?" He winks and then adds, "stupid question I know, of course you did."
He throws a grin Trevor's way, "Still having trouble fending off all the ladies 'eh?" He laughs looking at the mermaids, they would flirt with anyone, if they were of the opposite gender.

Aqua saw Trevor and Lily walk in a smile went across her face. She truly did not think that Lily was all that bad, but everyone likes to be nice to her because she is Peter Pan's kid. Aqua is nice well because Aqua is nice to everyone most of the time. "Hiya Lily, Trevor." Then Reef came in with his charming smiled hitting on Lily and teasing Trevor. "Nice to see you too Reef." She added in sarcastically. Her and Trevor had the same relationship as Her and Lily. Mermaids stick together and they were the only family she has.

Lily laughed lightly as her brother rammed into her and hugged her. She had to catch herself so she wouldn't go tumbling into the water. When she spotted Fitz, she grinned and waved him over. "Don't be shy!"
When she heard a few of the mermaids surface, she looked back at the water to see Pearl. "Ah, Trevor." She smiled brightly at her brother, and barely glanced at her. "Lily." She muttered dully. "Good afternoon, Pearl. And don't worry- i'm not much competition."

"Lily, it's been too long, did you miss me?' When she heard a male murmur her name, she chuckled. "Good afternoon, Reef." she looked over at him with a smile to see him wink and add, "Stupid question, of course you did."
She chuckled, blushing lightly. "Reef, I'll admit that you are very attractive, but I'm not as easily seduced as most of the mermaids that throw themselves at you." Lily grinned at him playfully, brushing her long blonde curls over her shoulder.
When he teased Trevor, causing him to blush and bury his head in her neck, she laughed lightly and stroked his hair affectionately.

Trevor smiled, feelings his sister's hand on his head. She was gentle with him, and he liked that. Trevor smiled at the others as they all came together. "Hi guys." He said quietly to them.

"Reef, I'll admit that you are very attractive, but I'm not as easily seduced as most of the mermaids that throw themselves at you."
Reef grins at this and puts on an innocent face, "Ah but Lily you forget, that's just why I like you."

Turning to Aqua he winks, "How could I forget about you Aqua?"

He then looks over at their home and nods toward it, "Shall we?" He says to no one in-particular and swims over, under the house and then through the hole they keep in the floor, quickly changing into a human and grabbing some shorts.

He then opens the front door and smiles at them, "C'mon then."

Pearl then spots Aaron and swims over to him but not before replying to Fitz, "Oh by you are darling." She purrs and dives into the Lagoon, resurfacing in front of the child of Tiger-Lily, the girl she was told to hate as she 'stole Peter Pan', from who Pearl wasn't sure but it seemed to be the whole Mermaid species.

"Hello," She grins, fluttering her eyelashes slightly - Sure she had to hate his mother but how could she hate someone quite so gorgeous?

Hearing her brother's invite she agrees it's time to get down to why they're really there - The ageing spell.
She follows in his footsteps, changing into a red summer dress and once again applying her coral lipstick, she takes a seat at their long maple table and looks around the house.
It's so beautiful yet we rarely use it, our house in the ocean is where we usually are. She thinks to herself, waiting for the others.

Trevor let go of Lily and dropped onto the ground. He sat by the edge of the water and smiled at the mermaids. He grabbed Fitz's hand and pulled him down onto the ground next to him. "Come on. Let's talk about that weird curse thing." Trevor smiled at Fitz and then turned back to look at the mermaids. "Enough flirting Lily..."

Pearl was about to say something when she stopped, something was wrong with them water.
Diving back into the cool ocean she felt it, "No!" She screamed underwater, "No, no, no!"
Resurfacing, her face was the perfect picture of fear.
"You have to leave," She says, looking at Lily and Trevor, "You have to leave." She repeats.
She turns around, just in time to see a small stream of blood coming their way.
It is then an idea hits her, "G-Go get the Darlings!" She yells at the two, "They're the only ones that can save us."
And with that she dives back into the water, following the stream until she comes across a boat.
"What do you want?" She yells, not sure who she's talking to, as she grabs onto the side of the boat, pulling herself up.
"Leave these waters, this is mermaid lagoon. No place for pirates." She says sternly.

"What do you want?" Jordan snapped her head to the fish that spoke. "Well if it isn't Coral's daughter." She spat. She always had a hatred for mermaids. "Leave these waters, this is mermaid lagoon. No place for pirates." She rolled her eyes and scoffed. "I don't remember asking for you permission. Besides most of the people aren't even mermaids." She pointed out. "Now leave before I feed you to the crocodile." She said and on cue the crocodile looked down at the waters and locked its eyes on her. She laughed and grabbed its tail and jerked it back. "But it wouldn't be fun to kill you when I just met you. Captain Thorn at your service." She bowed tipping her captain hat at the same time. "Theses are two of my crew members." She said putting emphasis on the two to say that she had more. "Damien and Sam." She pointed to the two.

Aqua didn't know what Pearl was so worried about. The pirates are pretty far away from where they were. She took a dive into the water and felt her fin replace her feet. Her outfit disappeared and replaced with shell bra. Sometimes she wished that the outfit would just stay. Now she had to replace it when she got home. She swam right up next to Pearl and then pushed herself out of the water so she was sitting on the edge. She missed introductions, but that didn't stop her from getting in the conversation. "I'm Aqua. And you are the famous Captain Thorn." She looked at the two guys standing close by and raised an eyebrow. "And you must be friends of hers." She assumed. She didn't know anything about ships, but Captain Thorn's name rang through the waters. Especially her fathers. But she didn't say that. She flopped her tail and decided to make small talk. "What brings you here?" She asked.
