Analeigh Reighns

''Hey, Shortie it's time to get up.'' My brother said as he shook me softly. I woke up and pushed him off my bed.'' I told you not to call me shortie.'' i said getting up and walking into my bathroom. I heard him leave my room and I laughed softly. I began to undress and then I quickly hopped into the shower and quickly washed my hair before I got out and wrapped my towel around my body. I went into my room and made a striaght line to my closet. I pulled out my light blue teddy bear tank top and some skinny jeans. Then I sat down at my vanity and blew dried my hair and then curled it to it's every day style. After I finnished my hair I did my usual make-up, and then put my bow in my hair. I slid on my necklace and glasses before turning back to my closet. I put on my white socks and then my lace heels, Peace scarf, and leather jacket. I put in my mustache earrings and slid my I <3 U ring on my left hand. I finished my look and then grabbed my gray messanger bag and headed down the stairs and out the door to school. I didn't live to far from school, so I could easily walk there, and I did every morning. Once at school I walked around, singing quietly to myself, and looking for someone to talk to.

Bueard Mathis:

Oh, goodie, I thought as the sun blinded me as my light oozed from the window seal and onto my face. It was warm, and coxed me out of bed as it began to be even more unbareable to lay there. I stumble out, half asleep and groogy and almost missed the doorway of the bathroom. I shed my clothes, doused my head in freezing cold water (which is quite a shock when you just woke up, mind you) and did a quick shampoo. After almost dying from hyperthermia I dry myself and get on a clean fresh pair of boxars (as I dare say, supplied by my mum the night before) while heading toward the closet (hopping on one leg in my naked glory). I pick a tasteful outfit, nice and not too edgy, but not too dull. A green polo and cargos, just for a day like this.
Today wasn't any old day. Today was the day, first day of my new school. I was originally from Britian, untill my father had gotten a job here, thus I was shipped over along with my mum to our new home. America... Even though they speak the same language as us they all seem so... forgien. It's strange, really... possibly because they have rather strange slangs here. Some of them I can't really tell you what they mean, and the sudden lable of 'tea drinker' is scaring me... I don't even like tea.
Ah, stupid sterotypes, of course.
I stuff bread in my mouth and grab my bag and French Horn, and I was off untill I got to the car, my mum waiting ever so patiently.

Ae Sook

Ae woke up early to her alarm clock buzzing rather loudly in her ear. Groaning she rolled over and slammed the button on the top shutting it off. Most likely her mother was already at the store, so it was up to her to wake her sister up and get her ready as well. Rolling out of bed she took a shower, then emerged from the bathroom wearing yellow dress with a pair of white ballet flats. Running a brush through her damp hair she grabbed her camera then was out of her room. "All right it is time to get up." She knocked on her sister's door. "I'm already ready." Her younger sister smiled.

It made Ae's day a whole lot easier when she didn't have to wake her sister up. "Okay let's go." Grabbing her hand she grabbed an apple for her and a bagel for her younger sister. Hopping on her bike she rode her sister to her bus stop to see her off. Waving back at her she continued to head to school. It was only five miles away, so it wasn't that bad on a bike. As she rode down the street she took some shots of the leaves falling around her. She knew they were going to turn out great. After her short ride to school, she chained her bike with all of the others. She loved her powder blue antique bike. Walking around she saw Analeigh walking around as well. "Good morning Analeigh." She patted the girls shoulder then took a quick picture of her. "You give me the best profiles." She handed the picture over to the girl with a smile. "You can keep it though because I already have one more of you. I don't want to seem like a stalker." She chuckled.

Taemin Ma

Taemin woke up to the sound of his alarm clock and the warmth of the sun. Reaching his hand out from underneath the blankets, he turned off the alarm and rubbed his eyes gently before running a hand through his hair sleepily. He pushed himself up into a sitting position before slipping out of his bed and walking across his room to his closet. Opening it, he pulled out a blue tank-top and a light, black, and slightly baggy long-sleeved shirt and tossed them onto his bed as he pulled out a pair of blue skinny jeans from his dresser drawer. He changed quietly, having showered the night before, and walked to the bathroom quietly. Once there, he ran a comb through his dyed red hair and brushed his teeth before returning to his room. He then pulled on a white beanie, letting his bangs and bottom of his hair show under the beanie, and slipped on a pair of black framed, lensless glasses on. He then grabbed his backpack and sighed quietly as he left his room. He walked through his grandparent's house, still not completely used to the fact that he was living in the States and not Korea anymore, much less the fact that he was living with his grandparents, because of the 'incident' - he didn't like to even think about what happened to his parents.

Taemin waved to his grandparents who were eating their breakfast before he walked to the front door and stepped into his tennis shoes and left the house. As he walked down the street, he wondered to himself how different American schools were to Korean schools. He reached the school, he paused looking at the building and the students walking into the building and talking to their friends outside. He started to walk towards the school, and because he wasn't paying attention, he ran into a girl wearing a yellow dress, holding a camera. Taemin bowed slightly to the girl. "I'm sorry," he said quickly, accidentaly saying it in Korean. He caught that he said it in Korean and a very light blush surfaced. "I'm sorry. I'm new to America and I'm not completely used to speaking English," he said, his Korean accent rather strong, as he scratched the back of his head.

Standing in front of her mirror, Raelene put the finishing touches on her makeup, having already finished showering and styling her hair, a feat that took no small amount of time. Double-checking her reflection, she applied another coat of mascara. Nodding with satisfaction, she turned to her closet, opening the double doors with a smile. Leafing through the clothes there, she pulled out a new "shirt" (similar), a pale green one-shouldered one. Slipping her robe off, she pulled it on, and paired that with dark-washed skinny jeans. She also grabbed a pair of her favorite "boots". Then Rae walked back to the mirror and checked her hair again, smoothing it back so it fell around her shoulders in its natural soft waves. She smiled with pride- she knew girls that spent hours trying to replicate this look, and all she had to do was blow dry it and run a brush through it. Rae leaned in, fastening a pair of gold dangly earrings in her earlobes and a diamond stud in each of her cartilages; she frowned and added a gold stud in her right. She also fastened a heavy gold bangle around her wrist and a gold butterfly necklace around her neck. Slinging her matching purse over one shoulder, she walked out of her room and down the stairs.

"Bye, mom," she said, grabbing a banana and a bunch of grapes, and planting a quick kiss on her mom's cheek before breezing out the doors. She stopped at the Starbucks down the street, tossing the banana peel in the trash and getting her usual. Standing outside, she waited for less than a minute before a sleek blue convertible pulled up in front of her. "Hey, Rae!" The redhead smiled at Aimi, and jumped over the door to the passenger seat.

"Thanks for picking me up! Want some grapes?"

"God, yes!" The blonde grabbed them as she drove one-handed, popping one in her mouth. "Next time, you should totally get me a coffee."

"Tell me what you want and I will," she promised. They chattered about everything for the rest of the time- clothes, the upcoming dance, classes sucking, clothes, boys, more clothes- before Aimi pulled into her usual parking space in front of the school. The two got out and walked slowly up to the building. Rae finished her drink and tossed it in the trash. A few more people joined them as they walked, and the group claimed a bench that stood in front of the school. From her seat there, Rae glanced up to see Jake pass by without looking at her. She looked quickly away, smiling at a boy she didn't recognize for a second before turning her attention back to Aimi, who leaned in and whispered, "That jerk-face Jake was never good enough for you." Rae laughed and nodded, leaning back to soak up the talk and laughter.

Delyia Talon

He wished he could just skip school as it was. It was all such a hassle. Waking up, first of all. It never took too long for him. Quick shower in some warm water, get on the first set of clothing he could find, get some food, grab a jacket and a scarf, head out the door. It was especially chilly that morning, but nothing too bad that he couldn't handle the short walk. He was almost grateful that he lived near the school. Sometimes he would enjoy the walks to the place, especially in the summer. Sometimes he would be late, often on purpose. It all seemed to not matter much to him. The walk there wasn't the bad part.

It was school itself. Classes. He hated the subjects, and avoided math and science like it was a disease. A select group of people seemed to avoid him...he had no idea why. Another small group that he really didn't know to well talked to him. Both groups were almost, enemies. He could tell that it was all drama and differences between the people, but he had decided not to get sucked into all of this drama. It was probably a good choice too. School was already enough of a strain for him in the first place.

Delyia continued down the sidewalk, hands in his pockets, stepping over the cracks in the pavement. It was an odd habit of his, whenever he was walking anywhere, he always focused on not stepping on cracks in the sidewalk. Kind of like that old rhyme that used to go around when he was a child. 'Step on a crack and you break your mother's back.'

Silly, he was quite aware of it, but entertaining. Like a fun little game to play while he was walking. Eventually, he heard the buzzing sound of people chatting, some voices screaming, others whispering. People walked around, bumped into others, pushed some down. Others talked beside vehicles, gossiping about hell knows what. He was almost disappointed that he wasn't late. Right away, he began to walk past everyone and towards the school building. He raised a hand away from the strap of the backpack thrown over one of his shoulders, to brush a stray strand of his dark hair away from his vision. He wasn't wearing anything that would make him stand out. It was a pair of jeans, a white t-shirt and his dark brown jacket overtop. Nothing special, like most of the other clothing articles he wore.

Hopefully, the bell would ring soon. He hated walking into the school early, but detested even more having to lounge around on a bench or something, staring at the ground.

Nikolai got up off his uncomfey box spring bed. The smell of vodka lingered on the room. He sat up, a spring diging into his back end. Nikolai stretch his two big arms to the sky, then sat up, looking at the clock. He jumped up, it was almost seven fourty. "My bus!" He yelled, jumping up. GHe grabbed his usual outfit, as he shuffled through vodka bottles that his grandma left in his room. He reached the living room, his sister was pased out on the couch, his grandma still sleeping. He grabbed his back pack, and ran to the bus stop. He missed his bus, thinking he was okay, he ran towards the school.

Analeigh Smile as she felt a hand on her shoulder and she turned and saw Ae.''And a good morning to you too, Ae.'' She said her thick british accent lacing the words elegantly. She smiled as Ae took and handed her a photograph. She gently put the picture back in Ae hands.''It's fine you can keep it, and you would never seem like a stalker.'' She said with a small laugh. She adjusted her gray satchel on her shoulders just as she watched a guy run into Ae, and then apoligize rapidly.'' Well Ae, I must go. Contact me if you would like another photograph.'' She said waving slightly her black nails shining in the morning sun. After her good byes, she began walking off and towards the school so she could get to her locker easily.

Once inside Analeigh got to her locker in a short amount of time. She began unpacking her books, and note books from the bag and putting them back in their assigned places inside her locker, then she proceeded to get her biology book and note book. She stood up slowly just as a foot ball jock walked by and smacked her books out of her hands, sending papers everywhere. SHe let out a cry of frustration, almost loud enough not to hear the jock yell something about her being a geek. She knelt down to pick up the scattered papers, mumbling things such as 'Why would a bloody football player even be here this early?' to herself.

Rae stood up as part of the crowd, glancing over her shoulder and catching a glimpse of someone familiar. "Delyia!" she called, turning and stopping. Motioning the others to continue walking, she jogged back towards him, smiling. "You're here early," she teased him with a smile. "I almost never see you before school. Suddenly gained an intrest in going to class?" Her voice was light and full of laughter, as usual.

Keeping pace with him, she turned briefly to greet someone else, before focusing her attention back on the dark haired boy. She wasn't in any rush, and as they walked, she twisted the gold bracelet around her wrist distractedly.

He probably could have took a bit longer on his walk. Delyia really only realized that now, as he walked towards the building, almost automatically. It was like he was in some sort of trance, unaware of what was happening around him at the time. He was in his own little world, with his own views on things. That's how it was all of the time. That's why he was oblivious to things, but still responded. He had no idea what was happening half of the time.

The voice near him almost startled him. He jumped slightly, turning his head to glance over his shoulder to see a slightly familiar face. Raelene. Or as most people called her, just Rae. He looked behind her, seeing a trail of other people following behind her. He continued walking, yet slowed down his pace a bit. Why not waste a bit more time outside of the school?

He shrugged his shoulders casually at her comment, a small smile spreading across his lips.

"Not...really." His light eyes wandered down towards her hand, which was fumbling around with the bracelet on her wrist. He brought his eye contact back to her though soon enough, and continued with what he was saying.

"I guess I could have slept in a bit more. Don't think that I'm actually going to pay attention in class though." Delyia joked playfully. He was quite aware that he did hate certain subjects, avoided them like wildfire. He just barely got a passing mark on most of them, except for Language. There was one exception there. He looked around him briefly, surveyed the area from where he was from. It was kind of nice out today. He almost regretted wearing his dark jacket, even though it was thin and hardly protected him from any cold breeze.

Bueard was in the building, half frightened and half awkward to be their. He really didn't know what to do then, did he just go to class or did they have to wait a little bit? He had just dropped off his horn case in the band room, and was heading toward his first period, which was english. He took a few minutes with fiddling with his locker. Others were beside him, some were snickering at his accent. He decied to ignor them and go on his way, though he felt like he was being followed, so he started a brisk walk toward his classroom. Once in the saftey of his classroom, he quickly found a corner seat and sat down.

Nikolai got to the school, his guitar on his back. He ajusted his back pack that was on the other side of him, and his guitar now in his hands. He walked past many people, they all seemed so strange to him. They were all talking on cell phones and calling each other names and hitting each other. He sat at a table, looking at his scedual, not knowing that there were people that were capable of being his friend. He was obliviouse to the world outside of him.

“I’d never dream that you would.” Noticing his glance towards her wrist, Rae stopped playing with her bracelet and stuck her hands in her pockets. “Nice day, isn’t it? Pity we have to spend it in there. ‘Oh, that we could spend the day roaming these wilde woods, that tomorrow should never come,’” she said, speaking with a lilting accent, almost English, but not quite. “Sorry, it’s a line from an original play we put on three summers ago. Seemed appropriate somehow. And here’s another one; ‘Hell is empty, all the devils are here.’” She grinned as they entered the building. “Classes will start soon, I’ve gotta run to my locker,” she said, turning down the hall with a wave and a smile, before letting the crowd absorb her.

Grabbing some of her books, Rae glanced up, and noticed someone new just a few lockers away from her. A few of the boys from the basketball team were standing around, laughing at something and giving him dirty looks. She frowned, pausing, as the new boy walked past her quickly. The boys walked slowly past her as well, and Rae heard a snatch of conversation. “-freaking British accent, how-” They were gone, and she shut her locker with her hip, hugging her books close, and wound through the crowd in time to see the new boy enter a classroom. Rae grinned, she was in the same class. With a mischievous smile, she breezed in.

The focus of the room shifted subtly, many of the others turning to look at her and greet her. With a last internal chuckle, she returned the greetings, speaking in her best British accent. They didn’t even bat an eye, used to her accents and her preparations for theater. Sometimes Rae would speak in a foreign accent for a month before the show, most notably; she had given a speech once entirely in a southern accent, causing snickers and laughter all around. Waving them away with a laugh, Rae set her books down on a center desk, and, spotting the new kid, waltzed over, sitting backwards in the chair in front of his desk, facing him.

“Hello. You’re new? What do you think of our fine school so far?” Rae kept up the accent, wondering if it would fool him. She’d never tried out this particular accent on a native Englishman before, and she was curious. Her face gave away no trace of her schemes, trained to give away only what she wished. Right now, she merely seemed friendly, maybe a bit curious. “Name’s Raelene. Most just call me Rae, though. And you are?”

Bueard felt his personal space suddenly voliated by a sudden person. He didn't turn his head to look, since by their voice, which in his opinion sounding pinched and mocking with a false accent. He tensed up, it was a girl... what would he say to a girl? He certianly couldn't snap at her, so he slowly turned and answered her question, "Bueard... Bueard Mathis," he answered. He was unable to understand why she was sitting next him, asking him for his name. Who pays attention to the new kid, anyways?
She sounded sort of nice, but he couldn't trust that at all... and her accent needed some work...
So he decied to play her game, "what part of Britian are you from?" he gave a half smile.

She smiled, and repeated his name in her head, memorizing the sounds, storing them away for future reference. Bueard. She memorized how he said everything else, and internally winced, immediately realizing that her accent was off. Rather than drop the game, she flashed a quick smile, saying, "Kingswood. Moved here two years ago. You?" Her accent had improved slightly, and she leaned back, resting her elbows on the desk behind her. "You didn't answer my first question. What dou you think of all this so far?" She waved expansively, indicating their surroundings.

"I'm from just plain old London, nothing extrodinary at all," he felt himself relax for a second, "and as for the day, ah, well a bit rough you could say," he tried not to make eye contact with the other. He would not back down to her, she was obviously trying to look "cool" as one might say by picking on the poor Brit. He sighed slightly, and slumped in his seat. He might as well let her attack him with her mocking voice, he was a big boy he could take it. He would not cry. Do not cry. Do NOT cry.
He bit his lip in the process, hoping she wouldn't notice...

Analeigh sighed and finally got all the paper picked up and put the note books back in her locker and got out a different one, and then began walking to her class. She stuck close to the walls and made sure to not be seen to much. Finally she arrived at the first class of the day, and ntered through the door. She waited for a second and saw Raelene and a kid who must be new. Analeigh just walked past him and sat at her usual seat in the back where a few of her band mates would sit with her. She shot a kind smile at Raelene and the new kid, since she knew it was probably hard for him to be new. She pulled out a red pen and began to draw and hum quietly.

She leaned back, slightly confused by the sudden change in his body language, before letting out a frustrated sigh. "Sorry, dude," she said, dropping the accent. "Just couldn't help trying out my acting. Obviously, it's not as good as I hoped. Look, I wasn't trying to, like, offend you or anything. If I did, I'm sorry, its just...a challenge, you know? Seeing if it could stand up to a native. My acting coach is gonna get it for this. But, truth, I'm obviously not from England, born and raised here in the good ole U.S. of A. I'm an actress, though, and I just wanted to see how good my accent was, like I said. Could you do me a favor and say 'spinach?'" Pushing her hair back, she said, softer, "I'm really sorry, I really wasn't trying to mock you or anything. It would've been briliant if it worked, though," she added, thoughtfully. "You know what, just forget it. Like I said, I'm sorry. See ya around." She stood up, turning and walking back to the rest of the class, several more having arrived in the interm. Waving their questions away, she said, "Yeah, he's cool," and shrugged, perching atop her desk.

Bueard blushed, but didn't say anything back. He knew he was a wimp by nature, and that was something he really couldn't controll. He watched her walk away, like a oppertunity that just slipped out of his hands. He knew now, that no matter how hard he tried, he would have no friends whatsoever. Bueard buried his head in arms, today was going to awful. Absoulutely awful, and he was now offically the butt of everyone's joke. Like usual, at least my place in life hasn't changed much, he thought sadly. He grabbed his book bag and serched for his binder and pull out some paper.

Today was going to be a long day...

Analeigh Watched as Realene left the new kid alone and decided she would speak to him. She got up and walked over to him and gave him a pure, sweet smile hoping to show him she only wanted to be friends.'' Ello Im Analeigh, I hope your fitting into our school just good and dandy!'' She said, her voice light and melodic, though this seemed to make her accent thicker.'' If you need any help I could certianly be of assitance for you!'' She said waving her arms as if to motion directions.

Bueard found himself being crowed again, "er, hello," he slightly tilted himself to the side. He wasn't sure why he was attracting so much people... other than the fact he was indeed british. He was unsure how to deal with the situation, so he simply introduced himself, "ah... I'm Bueard, nice to meet you..." he held out his hand. He felt rather stupid by this point, and he didn't really know what to do. he just kind of looked at her with the 'deer caught in headlights' face.
