Syzich's Story

Regen's smiled disappeared and he was a little confused at his brothers words. He was going to take him back? Did he really believe that Regen was being manipulated somehow? The others looked as weak as ever, and even Xiong seemed pretty disappointed. It was rare for her to not want to eat something.

"I don't think I can eat them... They all look stuuuuupid and laaaaaame!"

Regen laughed a little and his usual smile returned. "Now, that's not very nice Xiong." He said jokingly, "You never know they might taste better than they look." He said smirking slyly as he turned his head to look back at Connor. They really didn't look all that worth fighting, and he wasn't really wanting to kill any of them tonight anyway. He hoped they could have at least some fun with the newbies his brother chose for the new riders. "You're just as pathetic as always, you know." He said with his sly smile to Connor. "I don't know what reason you've come up with in the back of your head for my actions in the past, but you're still naive as ever. And I thought I was supposed to be the younger one? Either way, I'm tried of talking." The gryphon lowered its head slightly, a light growl vibrating in the back of its throat. "I know you aren't stupid enough to think we've just come here for a talk.." He narrowed his eyes and his smile vanished at his last sentence. It was clear that he'd given the obvious okay for the other Darks to start the, well, 'attack'.
