Feeling an odd combination of flattered and suddenly shy, Kezia nevertheless smiled brightly at the gentleman. Having sat herself in the corner, she pet the kittens, whispering sweet assurances to them that they were ok and that they were behaving ever so well.

Just as the girl took out a book to read, she heard the gentle voice of the new waiter once more, a smile lighting up her face.

"Oh it's no trouble at all! I'm happy to help. They really are adorable, and you were so kind to help them!"

Kezia reassured the man, only to shake her head as he spoke of letting them go. Maybe he really wouldn't mind, but she knew if it were her, she'd be tempted to keep them. Besides, he had gone through the trouble and mentioned bringing them to his home.

"Oh no, it's perfectly allright! I don't mind waiting, I'm sure you want to keep the little guys. I can relax here and read, plus, I get to spend a day with adorable kittens!"

Kezia countered him sincerely, showing him she did in fact, have a book or two in her bag. Realizing he still might argue, she raised a finger up, indicating he listen.

"If it really will bother you sir, then the only compensation I might want is maybe..taking one of them for myself? If you don't mind, that is!" she offered, resuming her petting of the adorable balls of cuteness and fur. Honestly, it was hard to resist the urge to squeal in joy and hug the poor little things. They probably wouldn't like being hugged and loudly fussed over.

Brought to reality by his inquiry, Kezia flushed in embarassed realization. Of course! How silly of her! She really was hopeless sometimes. Looking at Blair apologetically, she pondered what she'd like.

"Oh! Of course..that was dumb of me. Um..I'll have an iced mocha please."

Image “Ah, Seiri, you’re hurt, hold still for just a second…. Do you need any help with stirring or anything? Would you rather me do that instead?”

"P-Please..." She said, a little hesitantly. She was used to being offered help, but was always anxious to let someone else do the job for a spare moment, even if it was short and quick. She had two reasons for this; one was because she wanted everything to be perfect, and she'd freak out if someone were served something that wasn't perfect, and second was that she didn't want to burden anyone else, "I'd appreciate it if you could help me." She said with a smile at Odera as Lotus seemed to have disappeared from the kitchen and returned with a bandaid as she began to clean up her wound.

" that should do so go on your way now "

"Thank you." Seiri let out a sigh of relief while she then watched, for a second, as she began to clean the floor, "A-Ah, you don't have to do that! I can take care of that, really! You should focus on your job for now!" Seiri said with a smile before saying her thanks again and taking over after Odera helped her. To her, she also wore the same smile and said, "Thanks. You know, you're not that bad of a chef! Who knows, maybe you could have stolen by job before I came here~" She giggled and began to cook again, her finger no longer bothering her as the drama only lasted a mere few seconds in here eyes.

"You mind making a special order?"

Seiri heard her bosses voice call from over the counter as she turned her head for a moment to ask with a confused face, "Special order? Like what? For who?" She questioned, not knowing the definition of a 'special order' since she's really only taken regular orders. A moment later, she sighed and said, "And it's not as if I'd be able to say no, after all. Wouldn't want to be fired after my first few days or working here." She smirked a bit.

Shima saw Odera pass through him and head into the kitchen. A light blush seemed to have spread across the man's face as he forced himself awake and to stare straight rather than turn around. He held the urge to look behind him for quite a while until something else caught his attention. Another man, who entered the cafe, but looked more suspicious than any other costumer, or anyone else in the cafe for that matter.

A small frown appeared on Shima's face as he began to suspect something from the other man who just entered the cafe and took his seat. But he wiped that look off his face and replaced it with a concerned look, rather than threatening, and headed over to him, "Excuse me... sir?" He tapped on his shoulder, to get his attention.

After getting the attention from the suspicious costumer, he said, without realizing, "Sir... if you're here to steal anything, you may want to leave since there's nothing of value in this cafe, other than ingredients. Unfortunately, I have high doubts you'd make it to the cashier if you're headed for the money though..."

He is words were insanely rude, even though he spoke with anxiety in his voice. If someone wasn't listening, they'd be confused if they were offending them, or asking or saying something to them. Because of the way he said it, it was even hard to depict what he was saying.

Just a little while later, after Shima realizing that what he said was rude, he immediately apologized, "S-Sorry! I didn't mean to offend you or anything! A-Are you a costumer here? I'm really sorry for what I said! Hopefully you can forget that?" He begged, afraid he'd be fired for that also.

"Well... I'm not a waiter or anything here... but if you are a costumer who will order something, I could bring one over to you if you'd like?" He offered, in hopes that what he said then would clear out what rudeness he showed before. This was clearly shown since his expression still held that anxious smile, but it was obvious he was nervous.

Image Angel Kalovar

Angel was standing across the street in a dark alley, nervously staring at the love cafe. What was that anyways? Why would anyone open a cafe specifically about love? Angel was always asking herself these questions and she would always be too nervous to even step foot near that cafe. But curiosity would always get the best of her and she'd just look inside the window. She didn't understand how Zeron could do it. He just casually walked in there almost everyday while Angel sat outside like a lost, stray puppy. Someone actually dared call her that as they passed once. Well, it's not like Angel could do anything about it but give them her scariest, saddest glare. As much as Angel tried being intimidating, it didn't always work out.

Angel felt even more cowardly when she noticed her nervous friend even going in that place himself. She collapsed to the ground in defeat and sighed.
I suppose I'm not making it in there today either...
Angel just wanted to cry. Why couldn't she just march in there with confidence? It was almost pathetic. She wanted to taste the cakes that was served, or the tea that was served, or even have some alcohol! Alcohol? Angel rolled her eyes at herself. She really didn't like the taste of alcohol, but at the same time, it could sometimes feels soothing to her. Still, she really hated the awful taste.

Still sitting on the ground, Angel finally realized that she wouldn't build up the courage to enter the cafe today. Angel sighed to herself again and looked at the dirty, broken window beside her. It was difficult to see her reflection because of how filthy the window was. It was gross to even look at it. Past all the grime, she could see her sickly looking face. Angel hated that about herself. She hated the way the color of her pale skin and the odd look on her face made her look sick and weak. Even when Angel smiled, she would still seem like she was just sitting on her death bed. Angel thought it made her look ugly, so she became convinced that she got really ugly ever since... that incident. However, Angel was happy that her face still looked so clean and smooth. At least she could pretend she was pretty by keeping up her obsession with cleanliness. Angel looked back at the cafe with envy and sighed.

Eros C. Valentino

Perhaps the drowsiness had affected the god's vision, he just realized that the chef was not alone in the kitchen. He peered over the counter watching the commotion within the three girls. He heard the panic chef request for a bandage and watched as the "errand girl" helped with the work load. Eros stood up right ready to help out the panicked girls, but it seemed the girls had calmed down just as quickly as they panicked. A small sigh of relief escaped Eros' lips as he leaned his upper body over the counter again. He used his elbows to prop himself up. "You should really calm down," He said to the young cook, looking over at her injured finger. "It'a not even the lunch rush yet but it looks like you're tying to win a race."

He smiled when she asked who the special meal was for. "For me, all I had was two cups of coffee this morning and my stomach's not too happy about that. As he explained his stomach let out a loud roar. His face suddenly grew a shade of pink out of embarrassment. "S-sorry." He apologized in a low voice chuckling awkwardly at his actions.

"I was hoping you'd make me something good." He smirked at the chef. "That is, if you're not too busy. I'd hate to interrupt your work."

He turned over to the other girl as if suddenly remembering she was in the kitchen with them. He has seen here back in the kitchen helping out Seiri for the past few days, but he knew that he did not work for her. "Perhaps you could prepare me something instead." He said in a mischievous tone. "Seiri seems to have her hands full with orders. It would make things easier for her if you cooked for me instead." he teased the "errand girl".

"Don't disappoint me." He said before letting out another yawn. As much as he fought to stay awake, sleep was seducing his body too much. He leaned over the counter allowing his chest to touch the cold metal surface. He placed his arms under his head and used them as a make shift pillow. Despite the fact that he was semi-standing, the male found the position comfortable enough to allow himself to take a few minutes of shut eye. "Wake me...when you're..."His voice trailed off as his words were replaced with a soft snore. If Eros had a single talent, it would be the ability to sleep anywhere and everywhere.

Odera Barlin

With the confirmation of Odie’s second choice, she moved swiftly to the woman’s side, seizing the spoon for the pot and continuing the stirring in smooth, whole circles, trying to imitate how she had seen Seiri do it countless times. She didn’t have to worry about making a mistake and accidently ruining the whole thing for Seiri for very long, as Lotus was quick to return with a bandaid and fix the situation. With a soft smile, Otter stepped away from the pot to allow Seiri to resume her work.

"Thanks. You know, you're not that bad of a chef! Who knows, maybe you could have stolen my job before I came here~" At the praise and teasing, a sheepish grin and blush duo made their way onto her face, and she rubbed the back of her neck lightly, “I’m certainly not as good as you are. But I do know the basics, I guess. Oh, and I brought some of the things you requested.” With a small hand gesture to the counter where the two brown paper bags were sitting, Odie resumed a place where she wouldn’t get in Seiri’s way, a content smile to her lips.

With the appearance of Eros, however, she looked up at him with a small grin; she didn’t really know why, but being around that strange man of a café owner made her a bit more confident, especially with his good nature and knowing from her experiences and views that he wasn’t wrathful and she had never seen him angry. At the sudden roar from his stomach, Odie lifted a hand to cover her mouth as she chuckled. "I was hoping you'd make me something good." With this statement from Eros, an indignant frown came upon her face and she stamped her foot quietly, “Sacrilege! Everything Seiri makes is good!” She flashed a pout at the owner of the café, before returning to her normal stance with a very reserved half grin and a guilty look to show she was, of course, just teasing back at him.

"Perhaps you could prepare me something instead. Seiri seems to have her hands full with orders. It would make things easier for her if you cooked for me instead." Odie snorted lightly, “Ah, unlikely that would happen since she’s loyal when it comes to cooking people’s food. Plus, mine probably wouldn’t taste half as good as what she would prepare.” She started off pretty sure of herself, but when talking about her own cooking skills, as compared to the almighty Seiri’s, that sheepish tone returned to her voice.

However, Eros was soon to fall asleep right there and then on the clean countertop, and she shook her head with a miniscule smile. “Incredible how well he can sleep on any surface. Like a cat or something.” She turned to her friend with a cheerful grin before continuing to observe her ways.

HARU

Haru collected himself and barged right into the cafe. Ignoring everyone while looking around for Eros. He needed him now. He marched right into Eros's office hoping he would be there but there was no luck in finding him. There was no luck in the cafe either and everyone had became busy with things to do. This was a bad time, the worse time for all this to happen and it just had to happen now.

A light clicked in Haru's head and the only place he hadn't checked was the kitchen. Maybe he is in there talking to the chef or trying to get out of work.he thought and turned quickly into the kitchen. With a loud bang of the door, Haru's eyes immediately stopped on a sleeping Eros. Haru bit his lip as anger rushed over him. I have the worse timing ever! yelling at himself mentally.

Which is true he did very much. Everything he did was late or bad, the only thing he could do right was his job and that even shocked himself most of the time.

Irritation got the best of him. "Eros!" Haru barged in and rushed up to Eros shaking his arm. "Please wake up! I need to talk to you! Now! Sir!" Haru shook him hard. And sighed. "Please get up...or I'll kiss you..." Haru whispered the 'I'll kiss you' part into his ear so no one can hear. It was the only thing that always got him up right away. So it did most of the time.

He minded his own business. He really did. But somehow, a guy decides to come and talk to him casually and throw some rude words at him. What has Leon done? All he had been doing was just sit here and do nothing. Okay, well, maybe he's been a bit too suspicious, but that doesn't gain him the bad words at him. That's just... rude.

But then again, the man apologized later so Leon wasn't really hung up on it. The problem now lies that he has to converse with this man. Leon, for one, is a social-awkward kind of guy. He can't come up with topics to talk with and all he knows is that he can only look around the place to avoid eye contact. But as Leon didn't want any unneeded attention, he tried to end the conversation as quick as possible. "E-erm... It's okay... I don't need... any waiter... I just came here.... to look for my... my kittens... They were... taken by... by someone... who just came in here... so..." He paused abruptly. Just as he turned around, he saw the same box that he was trying to find, alongside with a woman who seems to be playing with the kittens inside.

He quickly got up and slowly approached the woman. "Excuse me... I've found, found my kittens..." He tried to avoid being rude and excused himself from the man who talked to him. For now, he had his eyes set on the box. It only took a few seconds and he was already here. But he was extremely nervous. He didn't know what to say to the woman. What if he said something rude to her without him knowing? Well, whatever he was gonna do, he need to do it fast. He just need to get a hold of the box and somehow escape the cafe.

"Erm, miss... that box... is mine... Can I have it... back?"

"Bloody hell!" Akito snarled as he was thrown back into reality. 'I gotta go there, right now.' he thought, bolting out his door in a heartbeat. He didn't care if the other Dark Lovers- if they hadn't went somewhere already- saw him, their "ever-serious" leader running out the door like a madman. People would have suspected that he went insane due to lack of love.

For some reason, his instinct told him to run to the cafe as soon as possible. He didn't know why, but, eh, who cared? Finally stopping, he saw the cafe. Something told him that he had to go in, confront the owner or something, but he somehow knew that he shouldn't. He just had a hunch.

Walking around while thinking if he should really enter or not, he spotted a dark alley. Squinting, he could see a figure.....that strangely reminded him of the person dubbed the "Failed Lover" in the Dark Lovers. He walked over to the alley as quietly as possible. His suspicions were confirmed. It was her.

"Oi. What are you doing here all alone?" the words almost automatically flew out of his mouth. He didn't mind though. The instinct of coming to the cafe was slowly fading.

Blair smiled back at Kezia's sincerity. He silently thanked Eros for the appointment of tending to her for a day. Although he felt a flush of embarrassment every time she rejected his offers. She was kind enough in her words and demeanor to help him relax and not push his failure. He perked up when she showed him the books, he was considering about asking what books they were. If there was one thing he loved, it was reading. Although there was certainly more than one thing he loved as he tried not let a massive break his composure. Now he wasn't as worried about his job he could actually allow the fluffy cuteness of the kittens to get to him. He made no motion to speak, even before Kezia indicated his silence with a finger. She had made her decision and he couldn't exactly argue with that, even if she wasn't a customer.

"Of course you may Miss Darby, Kezia. Four of them would probably be a handful for me."

He let it drop to first name terms. He had a feeling she would reject the formalities. Not to mention he wouldn't mind to get to know her better. Also, there was no rules about that in this cafe. As far as he heard. The formality and uptight, butler attitude was his own. So he could make the exceptions he chose. He let a small smile slip as she seemed a little flustered by the fact of forget the details.

"No problem. You were distracted." He nodded at the box of kittens as he began his retreat. He wanted to give a good impression the first day and promptness would probably help. Also he didn't want to keep the young lady waiting.

"Alright, I'll be back with your drink and hopefully your soup."

He moved through the cafe again. It wasn't difficult to avoid people, although the popularity of the cafe was already obvious. his attention was caught by a small commotion coming from Shima. He paused and watched with a frown, he was being notably rude to this new arrival. Although Blair knew nothing of the problem and couldn't form any opinion he also didn't see how Shoose could make one so vehemently. Although Blair did recall that Eros had mentioned having guards. Perhaps Shima was one, which would somewhat excuse his suspicion at the somewhat shady looking man. Although to Blair's relief Shima started to apologise profusely. Although by now his attention was drawn away.

He gaze had been drawn past the two, through the window and the other side of the street. A small figure slumped in the darkness of the opposite alleyway. It always shook him seeing that, just like with the kittens. No one should have to spend time on the dirty concrete of those places. It was unhealthy and horrid. He cursed his bleeding heart sometimes. The amount of times he had picked up and fed or paid some beggar or homeless was notable. He just couldn't stand seeing anyone in that condition. Glancing around he noted that everyone who was there seemed preoccupied. Kezia's attention seemed to be on the kittens. He hoped no one paid too much attention as he slipped out the door and crossed the street.

He was mildly surprised when someone else reached the figure first. Just as much as he was surprised when he saw the young woman. She seemed certainly far too clean to actually be the sort of person he found on the streets. Her long brown hair was smooth and straight. She didn't seem to a have speak of dirt on her pale skin, her clothing was only dirtied where she sat down. It was he face that caught him most. She wasn't ugly, quite the opposite. She had a quiet, delicate beauty that made Blair's breath catch. Yet. Yet her face almost seemed gaunt like drawn into a perpetual frown.

In a way it made it even worse, why was someone like her sitting in a dark, dirty alley? He felt a pang of sorrow, adding to the concern from earlier. There was something about her that reminded himself of himself, always keeping his appearance controlled. His worry was clear in his voice. He didn't ignore the other man, in fact he was relieved that the two knew each other. It didn't prevent him from speaking though.

"Excuse me miss. Are you okay?"

Kezia smiled at the blond waiter, flushing in delight as he agreed to her 'term' of giving her one of the kittens. He seemed to be more comfortable now, dropping the last name and talking to her in what seemed to be a more relaxed manner. It made her smile all the more, glad to make friends and see people comfortable and happy. Before Blair could leave, she waved and smiled cheerfully. It was nice of him to be concerned, but she didn't want him to overly concern himself. Besides, she wasn't going anywhere.

"No need to rush! I'll be here whenever it's ready, so please don't worry!" she chimed, waving goodbye to the kind waiter. She sipped the complimentary water from her tumbler, about to begin her book when a shadow and then a voice interrupted her.

Glancing up, Kezia found herself looking at a young man around her age looking down at her and, more importantly, at the precious kittens in her charge. He had an air of uneasiness around him, though she couldn't fathom why. About to ask if the man was ok, Kezia noticed the intensity of his gaze on her box. Cradling it protectively, she was glad she sat on the outside of the booth, the kittens nestled between her and the wall. Tilting her head in confusion at his words, Kezia felt a small bubble of unease in herself. Now what was she to do? If they truly were his, she didn't want to deprive him or steal. But then again, Blair obviously cared a great deal about the future of the little kittens. Besides..something bothered her about his statement.

"Your box sir? But..but why was your box outside? And...if the kittens are yours, why were they outside in the cold? Shouldn't you have them inside? Taken care of?" her tone was not angry or overy confronting, but there was concern in her eyes.

Image Angel Kalovar Angel continued to gaze curiously at the cafe then sighed. Just as she was about to get up, she heard a familiar voice. Angel jumped slightly in her spot and her heart began beating quickly. It wasn't like she was going to tell Akito that she actually wanted to go inside. Angel smiled up at Akito.
I like being alone.
Was the excuse that her "genius" mind came up with. She did like being alone, but that's really no reason to sit on the dirty ground near some bags of trash, especially for someone so finicky about cleanliness. Angel realized, but she couldn't exactly lie again. She sometimes asked herself why she lied to people about such pointless things.

Angel certainly wasn't expecting to hear yet another voice, and it was not a familiar one. She looked up and seen a younger looking man with blonde hair and bright blue eyes. He was quite attractive, but Angel didn't really notice. She didn't pay much attention to those things anymore. What appealed to her most was that a random stranger came up to her and took a few seconds out of his life to help an ugly girl sitting in an alley. Angel slightly smiled at him and pushed herself off the ground. She dusted her clothes off and showed another small smile.
I'm fine, thank you for asking.

Previous and traumatizing events from Angel's past didn't cause her to become cold towards anyone, she just became depressed and blamed only herself. She would still smile at strangers if they made eye contact, help a stranger with a small issue or just act kindly towards others. Like said before, she doesn't blame anyone but herself, so why take it out on others? Angel remembered that the alley she found herself in was where "Leon's" cats usually were located. She looked beside herself and noticed that they weren't there anymore. Angel looked at Akito and sighed, forgetting about the other blonde for a few moments.
Leon went in there earlier, and I think I know why...
Angel pointed towards the empty spot.
There's usually a box of stray kittens there and I've noticed that Leon has been visiting them everyday. He probably when looking for them, but in the completely wrong spot. Also, Zeron is most likely in there looking for his own "kitten" to bring home.
Angel said in a delicate tone. She rolled her eyes at the last part of her sentence and sighed.

Zeron Hichai

Zeron didn't have a problem with love, per say. He had nothing against, he believed people could be in love, he supposed. But he didn't believe he would ever be in love, didn't believe he could ever truly feel anything more than contempt and maybe slight amusement towards another person. Even those that he "caught", or whatever they called it, the ones he took to bed with him. Those people he regarded even more negatively than those he had not slept with- which was admittedly few people. Though he was a complete hypocrite when it came to the matter. He hated prudes, but the people who slept with him with little persuasion he considered "easy", or dirty really. And if you asked what he thought of himself then, considering he was the one sleeping with all of them, he would simply say that he was normal. It made all the sense in the world to Zeron though.

Eron frowned at the male now sitting beside him, regretting his decision to even attempt to engage him in conversation. His comment was childish, and the Dark Lover didn't even bother glancing back through the window to see what he was pointing at and making such a fuss over. Instead he dutifully turned his attention back to the waiter, whom was seemingly glad to have his attention again, though still a little sore from being ignored for so long. It took little flirting and convincing from Zeron though to make him feel better again, and soon there was another glass of wine being sat down in front of him, and then another poured and being sat down in front of the boy to his side. That was all Ze, and though the waiter looked upset to do it, he complied.

Image “I’m certainly not as good as you are. But I do know the basics, I guess. Oh, and I brought some of the things you requested.”

Seiri took a glance at where Odera put down the bag and said with a grin, "Thanks!" She seemed a bit more excited, and pumped up after getting her new ingredients, since she always felt hyped after getting fresh food.

"You should really calm down. It'a not even the lunch rush yet but it looks like you're tying to win a race."

"Well... yeah. I mean, who wants the chefs blood in their soup~?" She asked with a cheerful tone though the thought of it still sickened her since she obviously shivered at the mentioning of it. It was especially obvious since she had a disgusted look on her face.

"For me, all I had was two cups of coffee this morning and my stomach's not too happy about that. S-sorry."

Seiri stared at the owner for a mere moment, a straight expression on her face as she sighed and said in a muttering tone, "What's with men and not eating these days...?"

"I was hoping you'd make me something good."

"Of course I am, stupid!" She said, "Don't start degrading my cooking skills, young man!" She began to lecture him, sort of like a mother and a child, since Seiri was always defensive when people criticized her food.

“Sacrilege! Everything Seiri makes is good!”

Of course Seiri liked to be worshiped and told that what she made was always great, but getting so many compliments in one day was a little abnormal. Still, she didn't not like the feeling, just that she felt a little embarrassed, was all.

"Perhaps you could prepare me something instead. Seiri seems to have her hands full with orders. It would make things easier for her if you cooked for me instead."

Eros then turned to the errand girl, Odera, who replied with saying that Seiri was a better chef, making the cook, herself, giggle a bit underneath the noise of food being made, “Ah, unlikely that would happen since she’s loyal when it comes to cooking people’s food. Plus, mine probably wouldn’t taste half as good as what she would prepare.”

"Well, you could help if you'd like." Seiri offered, "But of course, you don't have to or anything! Just saying if you'd like a little taste of the kitchen. Besides, then you can prove to that man that you're also a great chef. Who knows, maybe you'll be working in here with me one day!" She laughed and got back to work.

"Don't disappoint me."

"There you go again... degrading my skills..." Seiri sighed, but continued to getting to work, deciding she'd work on perhaps a soup for the owner after she'd finished her next set of owners. She turned around and only saw him beginning to doze off.

"Wake me...when you're..."

Finishing up two more sets of orders wouldn't be bad, would it? She learned that once someone fell asleep, with experience from being around her brother all the time, they hardly woke up as early as after a few minutes.

“Incredible how well he can sleep on any surface. Like a cat or something.”

"Oh I'm used to it. Seeing people fall asleep on countertops or while standing up is natural now since Shima's even worse." Seiri rolled her eyes at the thought of her sleeping older brother, "The guy will even sleep on the floor and sometimes during his classes when he was in high school, the idiot."

Apparently, Shima had been forgiven since the man didn't look too angry with him, which he was glad about, even if he was as he responded, "E-erm... It's okay... I don't need... any waiter... I just came here.... to look for my... my kittens... They were... taken by... by someone... who just came in here... so..."

"Kit...tens?" Shima wondered out loud and recalled seeing a group bring a box of them inside, "Oh, those were yours...?" He said to himself out loud again, but a second later, the man had already found who had his objective and walked over there to talk to the woman to try and get the box back, 'Good luck?' He thought to himself, this time.

For a long moment, he began to space out, and in the middle of the cafe, probably looking incredibly odd since he was standing up in the middle of service. Once more, he was beginning to space out and fall asleep, wanting to just pass out, or go home to get some rest since he was really in a need of it.

A moment later, he saw something red in the corner of his eye and recognized it was a long time friend of his, Dae. Well, the two didn't exactly know each other ever since college or anything, since Shima graduated a short while ago, but he did like him as a friend, of course. The sight of the red haired young man made Shima snap out of his sleep as he walked over and said with a wave and a grin, his voice tone changing from polite to much more friendly and open, "Hey, Dae! Nice seeing you again!" He said.

Shima, most times, would speak very politely to everyone he met, including his own family, but when it came to male friends, he acted like any other childish person. While Shima is, after all, a 22-year-old man, he can still look like a regular teenage and immature boy, at some points.

Dae practically pouted to himself as the man to his right completely disregarded him to… flirt with the waiter. ”Usually people have better manners about these things. And I didn’t really think him one to give up so easily. He was about to get up and wander into the back when a glass suddenly clinked on the counter before him. Easing back into the chair, and eyeing the waiter out of the corner of his eye, Ari picked up the wine and eyed it suspiciously. With how that waiter was giving him a subtle death glare, he wouldn’t have been surprised if he had spat in it while he wasn’t looking. “Hm, thanks. But wine doesn’t tend to like me.” He gave a content smile, but still raised the rim to his lips to take a sip or two to show good faith and gratitude before setting it back down.

He shifted his head to look at the man a few seats next to him, “So, what’s-“ Dae cut his question short as he heard a very familiar voice, and turned his attention away from the black haired man to focus on Shima instead, “If it isn’t the man of dreams himself!” With a spry and friendly grin of his own, Ari greeted his friend with no shame.

“And you as well, of course, though you see me practically every day it seems like it’s been eons and eons since I last saw that beautiful snowy-forest head of yours.” He grinned cheerfully, pointing out both the white and black of his hair in a very nice manner if he’d say so himself. With a little blink, he shifted his gaze back to the man on his right, and figured it’d be polite –or at least wicked fun- to introduce the man who was more or less uninterested with him. “And this is… Well actually I don’t know. What do you say, mysterious stranger? Give us a name, or is it naught for light-hearted ears to hear?” He smirked good-naturedly, directly focused on his face, waiting with eagerness for an answer.

With the express of gratitude from Seiri, Odie beamed with happiness, “No problem! Always happy to stop by, whenever possible, at all hours, away from my other stops, any time….” She rambled playfully, but Otter really did love the Café, it was her favorite stop out of her rounds, and she occasionally visited once she was off, she's never missed a day in coming to the Cafe. In fact, she sometimes stayed too long and then had to rush the rest of the day to fill her other orders, but she was content to do so as her manager didn’t seem too miffed about it.

"Well, you could help if you'd like. But of course, you don't have to or anything! Just saying if you'd like a little taste of the kitchen. Besides, then you can prove to that man that you're also a great chef. Who knows, maybe you'll be working in here with me one day!" With a doubtful grin to her comment on cooking, Odie rubbed the back of her neck slightly, “Maybe, if you’re my mentor I guess. But yeah! I’d love to help if you’d have me. It might be easier than running about all day.” She looked up at Seiri with an honest smile and bright eyes. She loved her job and all, and really wouldn’t trade it, but if she could hang out at the café all day and make money while doing it, she wouldn’t be complaining. But her cooking skills were hardly much when compared to Seiri’s, as well as her work ethic. Plus there’s always that little nagging chance she could get in the way or ruin something.

"Oh I'm used to it. Seeing people fall asleep on countertops or while standing up is natural now since Shima's even worse." At the mention of her brother, Odie shifted a bit uneasily with the subtlest of awkward blush on her cheeks, hardly noticeable. He made her more nervous than she usually was around people, so she often tended to avoid him. Possibly for other reasons too. "The guy will even sleep on the floor and sometimes during his classes when he was in high school, the idiot." Odera gave a light chuckle at the comments, and grinned at how Seiri talked of her brother. Sometimes it made her miss her own brother, but not often. He had moved away awhile ago, and she hadn’t heard from him in a long time. They used to be really close, but he sort of poofed without warning, and the relationship sort of died from there.

“So, what should I do?”

The male slumbered on the cold metal counter. He was struggling to cross over the bridge of continuousness and sleep. But alas, he was stuch in the middle. He heard the silent muffles of the two girl's voices. He was sure that they were talking about his sleeping habbit. But they both should get use to it. It's not a surprise to find the male sleeping in odd positions. He had a motto that he picked up from the internet. "If I fits, I sits!" And boy does he live up to that motto.

Because he was half asleep, the lightest sounds would drag him farther away from his dream land. A loud crash came from the entrance of the kitchen. It meant he wasn't going to be allowed to get some sleep. "mmmm." He groaned in annoyance as he herd his name from a distance. "Just a little longer." he begged who ever disturbed his sleep. His body shook violently because of the person. Thanks to the wake up call it was clear he wasn't going to get his cat nap.Despite being wide awake now, he still kept his head buried into his arms, refusing to accept the fact that he was awake.

A sly smirked hearing his punishment from the familiar voice. He peeked slightly looking up at Haru mischievously before hiding his face once again. Then maybe I should just stay asleep." He chuckled lowly as he sat up. The smirk never left his face despite the urgency of the femal's voice. "I'm only joking, Let's go back to my office, yeah?" He smiled again and stood up giving a big stretch.

He turned over to the two cooks. "Looks like my meal would have to wait." He gave a small sigh. "Keep up the good work ladies. Remember, Seiri, putting your blood sweat and tears into your work is just a metaphore, don't do it literally." He said jokingly to the chef before leading Haru back into his office.

He walked back to his desk and sat on top of the wooden surface. Again, he gestured for the female to sit just as before. "Did you think about my proposal?" He said with smile.

Haru scoffed at him he looked away from Eros's smirk and bit his lip. He payed no attention to the girls in the room, not like he payed attention to anyone. He found it easiest not to. Less friends made it simple and easy to leave whenever he needed too. He heard that Eros had a meal coming but before he could object Eros had already lead him out of the room and into his office.

"Sir." She glared looking at the chair. "I am being kicked out sooner than I thought." Her hand gripped her phone tightly almost cracking it in her fist. "..I got a call just a while ago." He took a deep breath and slowly looked up at Eros. "If I was to be the one to move in...I don't want anything free. I will work for my way." Haru's eyes tightened and he bit his lip again.

There was more for him to say but he couldn't find the right words to speak. He started to feel a knot in his throat that build up and turned. His eyes went soft and he smiled gently, only half way though. His next words came out soft and low, making him sound like the girl he truly is. "Sorry for such a hassle. I know you are tired and very busy, but thank you..Sir..You should eat. ..I'll take your offer though..and move out soon..." With a turn of her head, his body became less stiff and she went calm.

Eros folded his arms over his chest as he waited for the female to finish. He frowned slightly and shook his head. How cruel the human world was. He didn't know the full story of why Haru was being kicked out. Perhaps she was not able to pay her rent, or perhaps she misbehaved. But no matter what the reason was, no one should put her or anyone under any pressure. He wondered for a moment how a human could have such a cold heart. But before he could think of a conclusion he brought his attention back to the pink haired tomboy.

A warm gentle smile grew on his face. "It's no burden, really." He explained as he stood up right. And walked over to her, he placed his hand over her head and gently ruffled her short hair. He wanted to comfort her and tried to lighten the mood. "Like I said before, it would help me too. But if you really want to pay for the rent you could do it in another way." He chuckled sitting back down on the table smirking at her playfully.

"You could cook for us instead and be my alarm clock." He joked with the tomboy. He really didn't mind if she didn't pay the rent. It may not be obvious but money was not a problem for the male. He had his own ways of making money the cafe was just one of them. "I just want you to focus on your job here."

He then turned his attention to the clock hanging on the northern wall of his office. They both could escape from the cafe just for a little bit. If they both left now, they could go to Haru's apartment, pack her things then drive to his house. But then again the cafe seemed to be a little busy, they could wait 'til working hours were over. "When do you have to move out?" He asked in a serious tone looking over at the tomboy. "If you want, we could escape and I could help you move out." He smiled peeking at his door, it was left slightly open and gave him enough space to peek at the cafe. "or we could go after work. It's up to you."

"But the sooner the better, right?" He smiled over at Haru.

HARU

Cooking? Haru thought to himself. He cooked a lot, but never once has he cooked for someone else. Being his alarm clock was no problem though, she did it all the time with him at work. But to be in a mans house and then his room, made her a bit nervous, now that she thought about it.

"Huh?" He was pulled out of thinking and looked over to Eros. "Oh um, by tonight..Sir." He watched at he leaned over peeking out his door, he hadn't noticed it was left open. "Aren't you just looking for an excuse to escape the cafe?" Lifting his hands up to his hair he fixed it a bit. "Everything is already packed. I just need a way of transferring it. I don't have anything but clothes, a dresser and a bed." Mumbling his words he turned to face Eros. With moving around alot he found it better not to have alot of things anymore. Never found the time to settled down. "If you want to leave, it is up to you sir, you are the boss after all, but I do have one thing I am wondering. Isn't this suppose to be a love cafe? I don't see much love going on, it just seems like a cafe to me now." Haru opened the door and looked out at ever, but he spoke in a low voice only for Eros to hear. "None of them seem professional to me."

Eros burst out into laughter hearing Haru's response. "You caught me," He smirked raising his hands up as if surrendering. Haru was partly right. He did want to get out of work early. The male would take any chance he had so he could find a way to get out of work. It wasn't that he hated being at the cafe, in fact he loved the shop and the residents inside it. But he preferred sleeping in a comfortable couch rather than walking around the shop and watching over every body.

"Well if all we need to do is pick up your things, we could do that after work." He said with a shrug. Today seemed to be too busy to leave. He still had a lot of things to do. He had to check how the front of the cafe was doing, then check up on the kitchen to see if orders were going perfectly, then he had to check up on his new recruit and then the kittens--he wanted to find a way to get his hands on one of them, then finally nap on one of the couches--which he might accomplish first. "After work, I'll drive you to your apartment then we can load all your stuff. Sounds good?" He smiled at the pink haired girl.

The smile on his face vanished when she asked her question. He forgot the whole reason why this cafe was built. He had to do his job, his real job. He leaned to his side, peeking again at the gap at his door. "It looks like Cupid's arrow hasn't struck anyone." He said with a frown and a big sigh. If it were up to him, he would just find two couple and shoot his arrow. But humans needed free will, they had fall by themselves. His job was to try to pair them up. One god couldn't possibly do it by himself. with a big sigh he stood and walked to the door. "We'll see if Cupid would do his charm today." He looked back smirking at Haru.

"I'll see you after work, okay?" With that he walked out of his office, leaving Haru by herself. Once out of the office his eyes targeted the empty couch at the front of the cafe. No one would mind right? Though there were a lot of people, everything seemed to be under control. It wouldn't hurt if the God of Love took a nap. He'd do the rest of his work later when he woke up. He let out a yawn as he walked in front of the shop and plopping himself onto the sofa. He laid himself across the love seat using the low arm rest as a pillow.

"They'll know where to find me..." He yawned as he rested his fore arm over his eyes, shielding them from the sunlight. His stomach growled once again calling for attention. "Shhh..." He hushed his tummy rubbing it with his free hand. His position was too good to get up, food would have to wait...again. It wasn't long before Eros had fallen asleep.

"Ok Sir." He watched as Eros walked off and thought about what Eros said and shook his head. Cupid is dead. At this point even though the cafe was busy, there was nothing for him to do, nothing he wanted to do at least.

Cracking his knuckles he walked back into the kitchen and walked over to the fridge. "I will be using the kitchen, don't worry though, I wont be in the way." He mumbled to the chief as he looked for items in the fridge. Pulling out some meat along with lattice and tomato, he place them on a single counter out of the chiefs way. He walked over to the extra apron that hung on the hangers and slipped it on. As he thought he stared at the food while tying the back into a perfect bow. Concentrating he grabbed the hamburger buns placing it down. He turned sharply and worked his way around the kitchen, keeping his way out of the chiefs way at the same time of frying the chicken in the oil. He flipped the seasonings like a bartender, adding it to the meat with a dash of wine. When he was done he flipped it off the pan and it flew across the room, landing right onto the piece of one of the open bread buns. He washed the pan and put it back in the same spot as if he never used it at all. drying his hands off he walked back to the hamburger, adding the a piece of lettuce and chopping up the tomato nicely, putting the rest into a package to keep it fresh. When he was done he added a fancy toothpick to his completion. And wiped the spill spots up off the plate. He made sure it looked like a master pace before putting everything away and taking the plate with him along with the sandwich. "Sorry about that." He said to the chief and bowed his head taking the mayo with him just before stepping out of the kitchen.

Haru walked over to the sleeping Eros, lifting his foot he tapped it against Eros. "Get up lazy, I got a meal for you. Chicken sandwich. This is what you asked for right, for me to make you meals. Get up or I will throw it away." His eyes shifted to the side looking at the cafe wondering if he caused a seen, but with a turned of the body she place the plate down and shook Eros. "I guess my meals aren't good enough to wake you, huh?"

Image “No problem! Always happy to stop by, whenever possible, at all hours, away from my other stops, any time….”

Seiri was glad that Odera didn't mind coming by and working when she could. After all, it was nice to have some company in the kitchen since she was the only one in there that worked for hours nonstop. Company was the best gift she could get during her work days.

“Maybe, if you’re my mentor I guess. But yeah! I’d love to help if you’d have me. It might be easier than running about all day.”

"I can imagine it'd be! And of course~ But one day you'll be the one that'll be cooking alone, so keep everything I say in mind! Oh, but call on me if you need any help though." Seiri said, finishing up decorating a small piece of cake that was going out to a costumer.

After the mentioning of her 'idiot' brother, she saw a slight blush on Odera's face, wondering what that meant, but she didn't say anything and just went on about talking about the different places he slept in, like his school, on his engineering job, and other odd places you wouldn't expect a regular person to sleep in.

“So, what should I do?” She heard Odera ask.

"Well..." Seiri began to look through her orders for a quick moment. She didn't want to give Odera anything hard to make, so instead, she just pointed to a few orders that looked quite similar, "Decoration?" She asked, and quickly headed over to a little tray of what appeared to be different sizes of cakes and cupcakes and put it near Odera, "If it's alright with you, mind decorating them? The type doesn't matter, as long as it appeals to you, because then it'll probably appeal to the costumers also~" She said happily.

She then turned back to her work and finally finished Eros's food. She was about to hand it over to the owner, but then noticed that Haru had borrowed the kitchen for a minute and already made him something. A small smile appeared on Seiri's face just then as she went back to the kitchen silently and decided she'd eat it for lunch, or maybe give it to Odera if she had nothing to eat for the day.

"You should come over today." Seiri offered to Odera with a smile, "Maybe come over for dinner or something. It's nice to have people come by every now and then, if you'd like." She said, not minding if she didn't accept since they were all busy in their own ways.

“If it isn’t the man of dreams himself!”

"M-Man of dreams?" Shima laughed, not understanding the term too well, despite how obvious it really was. Still, the term did make him laugh, and you could say that that was what mattered.

“And you as well, of course, though you see me practically every day it seems like it’s been eons and eons since I last saw that beautiful snowy-forest head of yours.”

"You know me." He shrugged with a little chuckle, "Sleeping everywhere, anytime, its easy to forget how long it's been since you last saw someone. And I suppose it has, same for you, with you and your blazing red hair and all." Shima smirked a bit. Despite how odd his hair really was, he actually, somehow, found Dae's hair color odder than his.

“And this is… Well actually I don’t know. What do you say, mysterious stranger? Give us a name, or is it naught for light-hearted ears to hear?” Dae began to attempt to introduce the man next to him, but before that was possible, Shima smiled and introduced himself instead.

"Shima Shoose, nice to meet you, sir." He said, much more polite than the casual way he talked to Dae and his other friends.

A moment later, still waiting for a reply from the dark haired man, Shima turned back to Dae and asked, "Hey, you want any food? Had lunch yet?" He asked, partially since he always wanted to make sure his friends were content and what such, but second was because he, too, was hungry, since anyone could hear his stomach grumble, causing his face to turn a little pink here and there from the embarrassment.

Zeron decided he hated people such as the two beside him now, chattering away and driving him completely insane. If it wasn't for the amount of alcohol currently in his system, he probably would have turned and said something to them by now, along the lines of telling them to shut up and to stop being so cheery. Happy people just bothered him- they obviously did not deserve to be happy, no one did. Happiness was just something made up, for weak people. Something for them to believe in. Zeron knew better though, knew that it was only made up, that no one could ever truly be happy. That was why he was content with being the way he was, sort of depressed he supposed, living with hatred for everyone around him. Even his "friends". The "Player" was simply someone who loved himself so much that he had no love left for the rest.

It didn't help when the child beside him decided to try and introduce him to his friend. Frowning, he turned only slightly, giving the new kid a once over. "Yeah, sure, you too." No, it wasn't nice to meet him, he didn't care to know him. More likely than not he would never see the kid again. Turning front again without actually ever introducing himself, he ordered another drink- stronger this time, please. The waiter gave him a wary look, commenting on how he had been drinking since early morning and should maybe drink some water. It took everything in Eron not to snap at him, and instead politely repeat his request. A moment later another red drink was being sat in front of him. He took a drink, enjoying the sort of burning in his throat as the liquid went down. He watched the waiter leave with a bit of a sigh, then watched the new waitress come out from the back. His entertainment was gone now.

The God of Love continued to slumber peacefully at the front of the shop. Little by little he felt himself slipping into dream land, but the mumbles and sounds of the shop kept him from slipping away completely. He groaned in annoyance hearing his name from the sea of muffled voices. "Five more minutes..." he pleaded to the who ever wanted him awake. Oh how cruel this world was. Is it so bad for the male to just want to sleep and procrastinate his work? Probably...

By the time he recognized the voice he was now fully awake. He opened one eye peering up at Haru, his attention turned to the sandwich in her hands. His stomach replied for him making another loud growl. "Don't waste food." He groaned as he pulled himself up from his laying position making him sit upright. He smirked at the pink haired girl and stretched his arm out asking for the plate. "You really didn't have to cook, I could have gotten something from Seiri. But It would be such a waste if you threw that out."

He chuckled as he got up and taking the plate from Haru before she could reply. He sat back on the love seat leaving some room for the female to sit with him. He took a bite from the sandwich and smiled. "Not bad," he smirked at her taking another bite. "I might have to fire you from being a waiter and rehire you as a chef." He chuckled at the female.

As he continued to eat he scanned over his cafe. It seems that Haru was right. There doesn't seem much love happening in the building. He watched some of the customers as they went on with their day. He brought his attention to three men two of them he quickly recognized as Shima and his good friend Dea. And another gentle man that seemed to be hating every living soul in this building. He watched as he called on another waiter who brought him a drink. He snarled a little as he watched from a distant. "We're not suppose to be serving alcohol at his time." He gave out a sigh as he continued to watch silently.

Haru's words rung in his head. "I don't see much love going on, it seems more like a cafe to me now." He frowned as he took another bite. Honestly this cafe was the only idea the god had to help the human race find love. But it seemed like it was backfiring, less and less couples seemed to be getting together and more of them seemed to split up. Some would even break up right out side of his lovely cafe. Love is complicated game, so complicated even Eros himself had difficulties playing it.

He looked over at the person sipping his drink. His fingers formed the shape of gun and he pointed them at the male. In his mind it was the arrow he used in the olden days. "Pew" He said quietly to himself pretending to pull the imaginary trigger and hoping it would hit the drinking male. But alas he knew that wouldn't work it wasn't like before where he could just shoot an arrow. He sighed and took another bite of the sandwich. "It's not as easy as it use to be..."

"No Eros, I wont enjoy that, I'd be to bored." Haru stared at the people walking around and sat next to Eros as he looked around the cafe eating away. "Yes, sir, I did say that." He replied and looked over at him.

Watching as he formed a gun out of his fingers and made a little Pew, Haru pressed his lips together to stop himself from breaking a smile or a laugh. "Love is never easy." Haru would know it best, his relationships would never last long. It was either because they cheated or just got bored of him. So he found it easier to just work at the cafe dating free.

"Well sir you could always try, something new. Like a Fake Love potion or maybe a real one. Anything to make them think that it is love." Haru yawned and shrugged a bit, rubbing the side of his face, his eyes slowly started to close. He didn't get much sleep last night either, but unlike Eros Haru had better control of himself. He didn't fall asleep, just sat there with his eyes shut. "Maybe we could do an event and get things back to were it should be, or maybe change the place up a bit to something more romantic."

The man across from him seemed rather tense for a drunk guy, and key twitches of grudging could be seen on his face from his state. Normally that would be a bit irritating, but Dae figured that he was being rather uncouth with this stranger, not to mention drunks shifted emotion fast. He wasn’t a very pleasant guy, that one. But nonetheless, Dae had a keen interest in pushing and prodding to see his reactions and test his bounds. With ones that looked like the mysterious stranger, it wasn’t all that bad of an idea; he should at least know what to look out for.

Ari stretched a bit at Shima’s food query, rubbing the back of his head lightly, “Nah, not at the moment. I’ll catch you later on that though.” He dismissed his friend with a small, content smile, and watched as he walked away. He rested his full attention on the man, waiting to see if he’d answer this time.
