Becky takes pride in remaining rational and logical at all times, considering honesty and straightforward information to be paramount to euphemisms and platitudes in almost all circumstances. In many ways though, these qualities of coolness and detachment aren't the weapons of truth that they appear to be, but are instead shields designed to protect the inner emotions that she feels. In fact, because her emotions are such an underdeveloped tool, she often feel them more strongly than many overtly emotional types because she simply hasn't learned how to control them effectively.

STRENGTHS
Quick, Imaginative and Strategic Mind – She prides herself on her minds, taking every opportunity to improve her knowledge, and this shows in the strength and flexibility of her strategic thinking. Insatiably curious and always up for an intellectual challenge, Becky can see things from many perspectives. She uses her creativity and imagination not so much for artistry, but for planning contingencies and courses of action for all possible scenarios.
High Self-Confidence – She trusts her rationalism above all else, so when she comes to a conclusion, she has no reason to doubt her findings. This creates an honest, direct style of communication that isn't held back by perceived social roles or expectations. When she is right, she’s right, and no amount of politicking or hand-holding is going to change that fact - whether it's correcting a person, a process, or themselves, they'd have it no other way.
Independent and Decisive - This creativity, logic and confidence come together to form an individual who stands on her own and takes responsibility for her own actions. Authority figures do not impress her, nor do social conventions or tradition, and no matter how popular something is, if she has a better idea, she will stand against anyone she has to in a bid to have it changed. Either an idea is the most rational or it's wrong, and she will apply this to her arguments as well as her own behaviour, staying calm and detached from these sometimes emotionally charged conflicts. She will only be swayed by those who follow suit.
Hard-working and determined - If something piques her interest, she can be astonishingly dedicated to her work, putting in long hours and intense effort to see an idea through. Beckyi is incredibly efficient, and if tasks meet the criteria of furthering a goal, she will find a way to consolidate and accomplish those tasks. However, this drive for efficiency can also lead to a sort of elaborate laziness, wherein she finds ways to bypass seeming redundancies which don't seem to require a great deal of thought - this can be risky, as sometimes double-checking one's work is the standard for a reason.
Open-minded - All this rationalism leads to a very intellectually receptive personality type, as she stays open to new ideas, supported by logic, even if (and sometimes especially if) they prove her previous conceptions wrong. When presented with unfamiliar territory, such as alternate lifestyles, she tends to apply her receptiveness and independence, and aversion to rules and traditions, to these new ideas as well, resulting in fairly liberal social senses.
Jacks-of-all-Trades – Her open-mindedness, determination, independence, confidence and strategic abilities creates an individual who’s capable of doing anything she sets her mind to. Excelling at analysing anything life throws their way, she’s able to reverse-engineer the underlying methodology of most any system and apply the concepts that are exposed wherever needed.
WEAKNESSES
Arrogant – She’s perfectly capable of carrying her confidence too far, falsely believing that she’s resolved all the pertinent issues of a matter and closing herself off to the opinions of those she believes to be intellectually inferior. Combined with her irreverence for social conventions, she can be brutally insensitive in making her opinions of others all too clear.
Judgmental – She tends to have complete confidence in her thought process, because rational arguments are almost by definition correct - at least in theory. In practice, emotional considerations and history are hugely influential, and a weak point for her is that she brands these factors and those who embrace them as illogical, dismissing them and considering her proponents to be stuck in some baser mode of thought, making it all but impossible to be heard.
Overly analytical - A recurring theme with her is her analytical prowess, but this strength can fall painfully short where logic doesn't rule - such as with human relationships. When her critical mind and sometimes neurotic level of perfectionism is applied to other people, all but the steadiest of friends will likely need to make some distance, too often permanently.
Loathe highly structured environments - Blindly following precedents and rules without understanding them is distasteful to Becky, and they disdain even more authority figures who blindly uphold those laws and rules without understanding their intent. Anyone who prefers the status quo for its own sake, or who values stability and safety over self-determination, is likely to clash with her. Whether it's the law of the land or simple social convention, this aversion applies equally, often making life more difficult than it needs to be.
Image
Scar across her nose. Two scars on her left wrist. One scar on her throat. Crossed scar on the heart side of her chest.
How does he/she dress?: Skinny jeans, jogging pants, t-shirts, sweaters, hoodies and dresses. Often black, grey or red.
Image
Dancing, basketball, baseball.

Becky Rosalin Woods's Story

Becky was enjoying the sunshine, sitting at the edge of her pool with her legs in the water. It was a reasonable day today. She could see the castle from her the side of the pool and had always wondered who lived there, but the tales scared her. Well, didn’t exactly scare her but it didn’t make her excited to visit either. She wondered how people made up such stories, had they gone and taken a look for themselves and found monsters? Or were they just normal people that were just very shy? It could be any of those possibilities. She didn’t exactly believe in monsters, but other people did, especially religious people seemed to believe in the tales that went around about the castle and its inhabitants. It made her curious, it made her wonder, but would it be wise to visit? Perhaps it would be, but perhaps it wouldn’t be wise at all.

She sighed and got up, straightening her red dress. Maybe she could just come close enough to see what was going on there? Becky knew this was going to be dangerous, she decided to take a knife with her for self-defence, though if the stories of the monsters were true he was sure a knife would hardly serve any purpose. But she could at least take it with her. She also brought along her phone, to take pictures, record sounds that she would hear, gather evidence if need-be. Who knew what’d be there and what she would discover, there was no way of knowing. There had to be something, people didn’t make up stories just like that. Or did they?

She’d find out soon enough. She grabbed her keys and left the house, locking the door as she left because she didn’t want anyone to break in and her parents were gone. She had left a note saying she went to a friend’s house so her parents wouldn’t worry, but they always did, she didn’t know exactly why though. Ever since she was small she had been practicing sports like Karate and kick-boxing so if she ever came into a fight she’d be able to defend herself. But up until now, Becky had been a good girl and no one had ever tried to hurt her, yet. Times changed fast and she always kept an eye out for possible danger that was on the way. She was very careful when it came to strangers and made sure she didn’t interact with the wrong people that could hurt her. Plus she was more or less a loner and she didn’t like making new friends at all. She’d rather stay alone knowing she couldn’t get hurt by anyone than have many friends, the majority of whom wouldn’t be her real friends but people who’d love to bring you down. She shrugged and continued her journey, towards the castle, wondering what was going on there. She was scared too, but her curiousity was too great and she had to find out what was going on.

Suddenly she could smell another presense far different from the one she was after. She seemed to forget about her injury, putting pressure on the once injured leg. "What do you want?" she snarled.

Riley ran after her sister to protect her. "What the hell are you doing here?" she snarled, showing her sharp fangs.

So it took quite a while to get to her final destination, the gigantic castle that she could see from her backyard. Excitement was clear as she hurried, kind of, taking pictures along the way of all kinds of things like plants, toadstools and animals. She was a real photographer and she took a picture of everything she thought was absolutely beautiful. That is how she was, always exploring.

Along her way she saw quite a few things, squirrels, a tiny hedgehog she put in the leaves at the side of the road so it wouldn’t be hit, a few birds. Lots of tracks too, some that she could identify, others that she couldn’t. She should have taken her field guide with her to see if it were the usual animals or new ones she hadn’t seen before. It could be any of those possibilities. Animals were always coming and going, depending on the seasons. Her favourite being autumn when the forest turned a lovely colour of greens, oranges and reds. She absolutely loved to watch the leafs fall, every leaf was different and every leaf had a pattern. Becky enjoyed pasting them in her art- and field guide and write about her experiences while discovering new things and watching her progress. That was what life was about, discovering new things and making progress.

Nature was just lovely, she loved everything about it. She always had and she always will. She continued on her journey, following the path leading up to the building. She was getting closer and as she was getting closer she was feeling more excitement. Finally the building came into sight, she stopped for a moment to look at it, taking in the beauty of it and taking a few pictures from several angles for later. She then came closer.

It wasn't quite a parking, nor was it entirely a crash. The vehicle was thoroughly disabled, however. Unscathed, owing in large parts to the sophisticated safety systems of the modern sports car, Rubrec leapt from the car and started running through the forest at high speed, dodging low branches and jumping over stones along the way.

"Huff.. dammit Riley...couldn't...get..huff.. a place with.. decent... logistics?" he asked of the trees as they whisked by. He was not even close to be within earshot of the castle, yet.

There was a shift in focus behind his eyes and he nearly skewered himself on a bent pine tree from the distraction. At the very last moment, he twisted to the side, getting resin all over his blazer for his efforts.

The girl? Honestly. Don't. Know her.

Kirsten paced 13 steps left, and 13 right. Her head was high, tail raised, muscles twitching until she finally calmed those down. ”Riley, what is going on?” she asked her little sister. She could feel her werewolf pups inside her werewolf pups come out sooner than normal infants. She could hear the girl in the forest, her eyes seemed to lock on her.

Riley could hear Ru running and huffing, ”Blame my sister for that” she laughed. She licked her fangs just incase both people were a threat to her new family. How they came to be a family was a surprise to her but it was a family nonethe less.

Daniel smelled the human and gave a light growl but keeps watching the man "Kirsten is it maybe smart to send Riley after the human? It might just be a lost person and want to ask directions here cause it saw light and thought of people able to help him" he asked Kirsten and watch Riley "I ask to send you cause a human would freak out from a werewolf who is all mad and growling" he explained to her

Not taking his eyes off of the werewolf, Thomas turned his head ever so slightly in the direction of the approaching Becky and called out in an uncharacteristically kind voice.

"Hey! Over here. Come join the party. We've got puppies and toys."

He grinned evilly at Daniel and inclined his head. He reached out with his left arm and appeared to offer it to the werewolf.

"Mutt wantza treat? Come bite this. There might be a loud pop, when you do, but don't worry, you won't hear it. Your head will be busy exploding. Or, you could take care of the human. She might scream. Maybe call her friends. Bring destruction to this little lovenest?" he said, softly, so as to not let his voice carry to Becky.

As he spoke, he still held out the arm. He began crouching a bit and the shoulders appeared... No, the shoulders did in fact grow a little wider apart, thorax expanding visibly.

You should join the party too, brother.

Rubrec DeBheil

Gasping and wheezing, Rubrec drew closer to the castle. He could just barely see some white haired human standing near the castle. There was something odd about her, but he couldn't deal with that as well, right now.
He slowed down.

I am. Not. Your Brother!

The castle grew ever so big as she came closer, looking closely she saw lights from far away and wondered who lived there. It could be virtually anybody to be honest, and remembering the tales, maybe monsters even? Though she still doubted they’d actually exist. They would have found these monsters otherwise already, right? It was impossible to hide such a secret. At least, that’s what she thought. She wasn’t sure, Becky was not a monster herself. Were they even monsters? Maybe they were some very kind people that didn’t want to scare people or hurt people? No one could say, she couldn’t say, she’d never met such people at all. And maybe she never would. No one knew of these creatures from fairy tales actually existed, no one had seen it, or at least, not as far as she knew.

As she neared, a strange feeling was catching up with her. The forest was getting thinner, the castle bigger, the lights more clear, brighter. She looked around until she noticed people close to the castle, seemingly normal people? She wasn’t sure, she wasn’t very trusting of strangers and she wondered if she should turn back and come back another time, but then this trip would have been a waste of time and she could have spent her time better. They seemed to be inviting her, ‘puppies and toys’ one of them said. She frowned slightly and took her phone, typed in the phone number of the police in case something would happen, then carefully approached. The white haired teenager was curious but careful, clearly looking hesitant as she approached, slowly. She looked back to find another person, she frowned slightly, wondering who he was. Not that it mattered, she couldn’t turn back now, that was for sure.

Counting the people, there were at least four, probably more, she wasn’t exactly sure. She cocked her head slightly as she stopped a few metres away from them. “Uhm… Hello,” she spoke, softly, her voice velvety. She sounded timid, slightly afraid yet curious. She kept her hand clamped around her phone in case she needed to dial and run. Also she got her voice recorder and camera ready in case she could take evidence. ‘Puppies and toys’. What did that even mean? Were they inviting her or planning to kill her? Who were they, what were they? Was this castle theirs? So many questions, Becky almost frightened herself with the load of questions that were going through her mind.

Daniel trembled in anger and wanted to bite the jerk oh so badly but instead he pounced him holding his throat tight in one hand and and hold his fist raised "WHAT DID YOU CALL ME YOU FILTHY FUCK!?" he yelled all to eager to punch him in the face with his other hand clenched, he would happily bash his face in on the word of Kirsten but for now he would just be holding him and squeeze the air out of his body

Then he heard the girl's foot steps and her voice "Uhm... Hello" she spoke her fear easily heard but this wasn't gone let Daniel release the guy and it surely wouldn't stop him beat the living crap out of the guy as well "you came her in a bad time, this is family business and i'm not afraid to beat my 'cousin' up for you to vieuw, so put the phone away" Daniel said to her watching her for the moment he spoke with his yellowish/golden eyes which had gotten a hint of red in them, then focus back on the guy

Kirsten quickly ran inside and shifted, then pulled a robe on and approached the new comer, "You have in fact come at a wrong time my dear, may I ask what you are doing here, so far from your own kind?" she asked in her sweetest tone she had. It was very obvious that she was pregnant.

Riley stood a few feet from Tom, "What are you doing here?" she demanded. "Ru, are you alright?" she asked, looking at Ru, her fangs still errected, looking more like a wild cats canines.

Rubrec came jogging up to the castle and cast a withering glare at the device in Becky's hand. His eyes narrowed behind his sunglasses and the five o'clock shade on his chin grew darker and more distinct. He waved his hand, as if to dismiss Riley's concern.
Something dark and immaterial crept over the camera phone's back, out of sight, and pooled over the lens of the camera. It wasn't enough to entirely obscure it, but for now, recordings would be blurry and dark. Likely, enough to make anyone seeing the videoes believe they were hoaxes.

Then he turned his attention to Thomas' and Daniel's fight. Some dark realization seemed to strike and he screamed.

"No! Get away from him!"

At the same time, he started towards the two-person dogfight, aiming to tackle Daniel and tear him off of Thomas in one fell swoop.

Thomas Currie

He offered no resistance to the first four or five blows. They obviously hurt, but nowhere near as much as they should have. On the sixth blow, he started parrying, matching the rythm of the blows to make his defence all the more efficient. Almost as abruptly, he changed tactics again, reached up with both arms and pulled Daniel into a tight embrace. His mouth opened, and then the jaw unhinged as he meant to close it around Daniel's neck.

Then Rubrec came into the fight and got stuck, trying to get Daniel away from Thomas.

Yes, brother. Join the fray.

Well, definitely a weird bunch of people. That was until she noticed one of them had fur and was definitely not a human being. Werewolf perhaps? He had a wolfish look to him. But having discovered this, her eyes grew wide in both fear and amazement, so monsters did truly exist and this one seemed a… Mhm, how’d you say? Aggressive, perhaps? She wasn’t quite afraid of him though as he continued attacking the other man, she wondered if they were all monsters. No, monster wasn’t the right word, it bothered Becky. These were people. Magical beings would fit just a bit better as it was magical to see creatures other than the ones she was used to. Then a woman approached her, she was careful, taking one step back but the woman seemed nice, kind enough, though it could just be a trick.

She gathered what confidence and courage she had to find her voice and speak. She wanted to answer honestly, but wasn’t quite sure how to. Maybe they didn’t want her here, maybe they’d lock her up in case she’d return to tell the rest that, indeed, creatures like werewolves and whatnot existed. She hoped not, she wanted to be able to go back home, even if that meant she couldn’t quite share her findings with the rest of the world. Speaking the truth was important though. So she spoke, kindly, fear in her voice yet courage as well.

“Uhm… Well I’ve been seeing this castle from my backyard and I wondered if anyone lived there, so I decided to walk to it to see if there was anyone around. I didn’t mean to bother anyone…”

She cocked her head slightly, ignoring the rest and watching the woman, curious. She seemed pregnant. “There’s been tales going around the village telling about creatures such as werewolves and whatnot roaming around here and I wanted to know if this was true. I guess I found my answer,” she said politely. Becky shrugged and switched her phone off, hoping that her phone wasn’t at all necessary. She wasn’t sure though, these were strangers, she normally never talked to strangers, especially not strangers that shouldn’t really exist but in movies. It was weird to discover movie beings were actually real. She bit her lip, nervously awaiting what would happen to her. Would they let her go? Would they capture her and keep her hidden in the castle? Only time could tell.

He grunted as the werewolf's claw dug into his side, but the pain didn't wipe off the smile. Perhaps this was understandable, as mere moments after the claw had left his body, the blood on it detonated to the effect of a small fire cracker.
He grinned.

"Yeah, see what I mean?" he asked with a devilish grin at Daniel.

Turning towards Rubrec, he straightend up, though a twitch across his face belied the fact that this move caused him some pain.
He feigned casual demeanour by dusting off his suit and stooping down to retrieve his sunglasses. He still kept an eye on both Daniel and Rubrec, as he did; obviously ready to counter a rushed attack, somehow.

"If you're done playing with puppies, rodents and playdough, brother, I've come to bring you back on track. You can't deny that you feel the Pull, surely? Syria, Persia, Ukraine, South America and Mexico?"

He replaced the sunglasses and cocked his head slightly, looking directly at Rubrec. If anyone else at the scene were any of his further concern, he didn't show it. Except perhaps in an overall tenseness of his body and flexing of neck muscles.
His chest was even returning to the former skinny size and the teeth seemed to revert to human standard as well.

He inclined his head slightly in Becky's direction.

"And when we leave, should we take the trash out, too? Make sure, she never breathes a word of this place, or just plain breathe, ever again," he added in a tone, as if he was idly chatting.

Rubrec DeBheil

Rubrec's hands closed in fists and openend again. He was breathing hard, forcing the air in through his nose and out his mouth.
The five o'clock shade on his chin that he had had, when he came running in, seemed to have diminished somewhat.
To anyone with acute eye-sight, the stubble was actually myriads of small spikes.
He shivered.

"I am not your Brother, Tristan, Thomas, what ever you call yourselves these days. And I will not fall in, subservient to the Void again. Never."

Kirsten was still with the girl, "We do exist, but we mean your kind no harm, we are simply trying to live our lives in peace and one day your kind will understand" she explained and motioned inside, "How about we go inside, away from the fray" she offered with a warming smile.

Riley pulled Ru back. "Ru, don't fight" she asked, putting her hands gently on his shoulders.

Thomas Currie

Thomas snorted at Kirsten's words. Still facing Daniel and Rubrec, he tilted his head slightly and projected his voice at Becky.

"Oh, but I do wish you harm. And frankly, you can't trust these guys either. You've already seen the angry cur in his party suit. A werewolf. A predator. Predators want meat. Who's got meat? You do. The nice lady hanging on to my Brother? Vampire. Needs blood. Who's got it? You do. And somewhere on the premises, there's a human baby. None of these guys are humans, so where did it come from? I think some mother is desperatly missing her brat. Ayup. All nice folks here, wishing no harm. As for my Brother and I? We've got demon blood. It's basically our life purpose to ruin your day, your life, your world."

He looked over his shoulder at Kirsten, then quickly back at Daniel and Rubrec, while still addressing Becky.

"And that one, I don't even know what is. Apparantly, neither does she. I'd say run for your life, little human. Go on. Please do. A hunt makes it more fun."

He chuckled and made a beckoning motions at Rubrec.

Becky was concentrating on Kirsten but kept an eye on the others, frowning slightly as Thomas said something rude. She shrugged it off though. She didn't care much for threats. It didn't scare her. Someone could threaten someone all the time but never actually do what that person threatened to do. She looked towards Kirsten and smiled kindly. She nodded, that was a good idea. She wondered how the castle would look from the inside. Maybe it looked like a classical example of a castle, maybe it was very modern, she couldn't judge from the outside of the castle. It made her curious. The guy then started talking again, she turned towards him and listened.

'Well he's one little shit', she thought, frowning slightly. He didn't even look at her, the coward. She hated it when people talked to her but didn't look at her or even face her. Instead he looked at the other two, a werewolf and someone else. It was rude and stupid, disrespectful. And it angered her, more so than Becky could have thought. She rarely got angry but this was plain rude and disrespectful, two things she absolutely hated. Even if he was a demon, he was just another inhabitant on this world and where she'd treat him with respect he just acted stupid. Because he was a demon, he was so much better.

"Listen you dipshit. If you're going to threaten me, at least have some dignity and look at me. You're being a rude coward for not looking at me. Also, your threats don't mean anything to me. You're just a low-life loser with nothing to do but throw a few threats in a cowardice way." She inhaled sharply, taking in a deep breath. She watched Daniel rush into the castle, searching for someone. She sighed, took a few deep inhales and exhales before she calmed down.
