Lynnie Swakwoski's Story

Lynnie shapeshifted into a magpie and flew up the stairs. It was much easier than walking, and flying was a lovely sensation. 'Haunted house?' she thought.
"Well Daniel, I know wolves are pack creatures, I can shift into a wolf and keep you company, if you wish" she said as Lynnie flew upstairs. She waited for his answer, pulling a blanket and pillow off the couch and put it on the floor.
"if you are comfortable with that then you are welcome to" he said and smiled "though that is not the only thing bugging me, i'm a loner and as aloner i'm not sure then of my place and since you did accept my wolf is confused"
"How is it confusing?" she asked, tilting her head. "I accept you here, as you are, if you want to be with us in this place, you can, but if you wish to leave, you can" she added, as she shifted to wolf form and did a circle on the floor, and laid down, her head up still.
Lynnie saw Riley, and turned into a human. "Can you turn into a bat, then? That's what I was told vampires could do," she was innocent in the fact she knew hardly nothing in the world of the paranormal even though she was one herself. She smiled.
Riley had her back to the door way, and was cleaning her shelf off, when she heard a voice she turned around and smiled. "Well I can, but only when I'm in danger" she said with a slight laugh. "You don't know too much about the paranormal freaks, do you?" she asked, sitting on the bed, motioning to the side next to her.
"No, I grew up in a human village," Lynnie replied, sitting next to Riley, her eyes glimmering with the excitement. She sensed a lesson coming on!
Riley smiled a big smile, "I used to want to be a teacher, but now, I can teach someone something after all" she said with a hugh smile. "Well, we have werewolves in our rehlm, some are bipedal, like us, and can be killed only by a silver bullet. But I suggest burning them as soon as they are shot. The others are the same way, except they are like real wolves, and walk on all fours." she began, then paused, "what else do you want to know?" she asked, tilting her head.
Riley smiled a big smile, "I used to want to be a teacher, but now, I can teach someone something after all" she said with a hugh smile. "I don't know anything. People told me vampires are allergic to garlic," Lynnie liked that smile. It was a friendly smile. An exciting smile. "But I wouldn't need to know that, because I'd never take a life," she thought of her parent's face when she announced her vegetarianism, and smiled.
Riley laughed a really hard, and loud laugh, "It's not an allergy, it's more like a weakness, it repels them. And most can only be killed by either the sun or a steak through the heart." she said and relaxed a little more. "Now we do have some that are harmless to everyone, and others that are harmless, like the wendego" she said and her smile got bigger, the Wedego was her favorite creature.
"A wendego?" Lynnie repeated. She didn't understand what that was. Finally there was someone who could explain all these confusing species.
"Yes, believe me, they are vicious. They take over someone elese's body and make them kill like a blood thirsty murder" she said with a sly smile. "I am a well vegetairan Vampire. I only take the blood of Humans. Only the kind who do harm" she added, hoping to calm Lynn down before scaring her to death.
"I'm a vegetarian," Lynnie replied uncertainly. Drinking blood...was kinda freaky. What's with the sly smile? Lynnie hoped she could shapeshift fast enough if something went terribly wrong. It was creepy by now. She paused. "You know I'm not human, right?"
Kirsten watched from her sleeping spot and rolled her eyes. "No mate for me I guess" she said, looking at her paw and shrugged, she then shifted into her tiger form and slunk over to the other sleeping spot. Rolling over onto her back, her belly exposed. Changing her mind, she went upstairs to her sisters room and jumped onto the bed, listening to the story.
Riley laughed, "Of course I know you're not human, you're like Kirsten, a shapeshifter." she said and relaxed as Kirsten came in, in her tiger form, Riley knew that was the form she took when in distress, stress, afraid, or she was just wanting to appear intimidating. She began rubbing Kirsten behind the ears.
Clara looked at Daniel, wary of him, although not yet afraid of him. "Why are you here?" Clara asked unsure as to why a strong being such as Daniel chooses to hide. Clara's whole life she's used to hiding and bluffing to get people to leave her be. Her original form, the one she wore now, was delicate, fragile and tender to the touch. So, she hid to protect herself... But this Daniel, he hid now. Even though he was strong.
Kirsten went downstairs, still in her tiger form, grabbed the blanket with her teeth and headed upstairs, ignoring the two still downstairs, feeling invisible she went to her sisters room and laid down, pulling the blanket over her huge body.
Daniel took Clara with him to the bedroom and let her go once they got by the door. He walked in and lay by Kirsten and nuzzle her cheek "who says no mate? I was just getting Clara feel comfortable around me and not fear me when I'm around" he said and cuddle against her
