There was a certain peace to the evening, everybody just sitting around talking and chilling. At the mention of a party, he'd been nervous- unsure of what exactly to expect. But he could handle this. This was everything he'd hoped for. Callum back by his side. Old friends surrounding him. And no pressure- no pressure to drink, no pressure to lie about what he'd been up to, no pressure to hide. No pressure to do anything but just... chill.

Gemma arrived then as Ellie reached over to get a beer. Ellie smiled at her as she sat down on the other side of Lina. "I'm good, Gemma, and you?" She asked. She'd shared a couple of classes with the other girl, but couldn't say she knew her all that well. She took a mouthful out of the beer, swallowing as Lina put her arm around Gemma. Something about that troubled her, something she couldn't quite put a finger on. She drained more of her beer, suddenly wishing she had something stronger.
Her eyes lingered on Cas and the stupid jacket. Anger flared in her chest. Here, she'd have backup. Here, she'd have people who would question his actions as much as she did.
"Hey, Cas, can I ask you something?" She asked, running a finger around the top of her bottle. "That jacket looks awfully like one of Jordan's. Care to enlighten me on that?" She asked, keeping her tone light and pleasant, but not allowing it to reach her eyes. She took another mouthful out of her beer without breaking eye contact.

Things were going so well, as Castiel sipped his fourth..third..maybe seventh drink. Then the bitch had to show up. God how he hated her. She knew everything about him, and he about her. But he was too nice of a person to let her demons out. But tonight...tonight he didn't care. He would speak.
"Well ya see Barbie, wouldn't you like to know." the male spoke. To admit, Castiel had been away from his group of friends. He had drank....quite a lot. He knew deep down that id he replied it would....it would be bad. But being the impulsive fuck he is, he would respond. "It is. The same one he wore the night you two broke up with you. He was so upset, he came to me. Ol Cassie here helped him. I helped him get over you really fast." the blond cockily grinned.
"I'm surprised they let your plastic little ass near a fire."

Lina laughed with Ellie, it felt nice having her friends all together like this. She couldn't express that enough. "I'll try it, if you have a sip of this." Looking at the cup that was held in front of her just like she had just done with Gemma, Lina smiled and took a small gulp. It literally hit her like a lighter to her mouth. When the inside of her cheeks began to burn a couple of seconds later is when she swallowed the amber liquid and coughed a bit. "Whoa, " she spoke in between small coughs. "That's potent." Feeling the burn in her face, Lina laughed her less than graceful drinking off before turning back to Gemma. "Your turn." the bottle was lifted to Gemma's lips. "Though, now I don't think it's fair because mines isn't as strong as yours." Lina quirked her eyebrow up with a small smirk upon her lips but her attention was quickly whisked away by Ellie who had engaged in a conversation with Cas.
Lina gulped, her hand slightly gripping the other side of Gemma's arm, feeling the slight goosebumps on her skin. The conversation started out simple enough but then bad turned to worse. Lina wanted to shut this down fast, it's wasn't the time nor place for this. "Guys, really? We are here for Lisa, can we not right now?" Lina looked towards Ellie first, giving her a pleading look. She was one of her best friends and of course, she would have her back but she really didn't want to get into an argument right now. Lina then looked over to Cas. He was alright in her book, but now he had annoyed her just a bit but he was still a good kid. Plus he is really close with Dettie and she didn't want to do anything to make her hate her. "Please?" By now, Lina hoped to god that Dettie would come back soon.

Until Cas's comment about the fire.
Her beer bottle shattered as it hit the ground at her feet. She was on her feet, not fully having realised that she'd stood up. He fucking knew what he'd said. It had been a deliberate comment and he knew how to get to her. The rational part of her mind was silent, lost in the fury of what he'd said.
"Whatever happened to the whole 'do onto your neighbour as you would have done to you' thing?" She asked, her voice laden with poison. She'd done it once before and she'd do it again. She had her limit and he'd fucking smashed it. He probably should have been glad she'd broken her bottle. "The whole 'good christian' thing? You'd think that a youth pastor would practice what he preaches, wouldn't you?" She said, looking around at everyone else. It was on the tip of her tongue. She was going to say it. But she'd give him a little warning. "That is, unless you've been lying to everyone all the time. So, Cas, I'll give you one chance to spill the beans yourself. And don't think I'll chicken out- I didn't last time, did I?" She asked, folding her arms. All of the anger that had been building up in her had decided to emerge and direct itself at Cas. All of the anger over Lisa, who was a much better person than Ellie was. All of the confusion over Lina and Gemma and frustration over her inability to help Sage. And all of the anger, residual and present, over the fire. All at Cas. She bent down and picked up another beer, raising an eyebrow at Cas as she cracked it open.

"See, Jordan didn't chicken out when he gave me this jacket. Ellie, you're a manipulative psychopath. You want me to announce to the world what I've been hiding? Why don't we start first, with the fact, ever since you've grown tits you've been a first class bitch to me. We were friends Ellie, then you just left. So yes, like the house you lived in, it went down in flames. But unlike that, it won't be rebuilt..........." the male would pause, and take a breath. His dark gray-blue eyes turning a stormy color as he finished. ".....yeah, I've been lying. I'm not really a fucking pastor, I'm a stripper. Ya know what? I hid it because I was afraid that I wouldn't have my family anymore. That I wouldn't have my fucking friends, but ya know, Jordan helped me practice. Especially while you two were dating." he had spoke, hoping the last sentence would, spark her anger. He hated her, but it wasn't just her. It was Oliver, for not showing up. It was for Alex, replacing him. It was for himself, for not being honest. But Ellie seemed to be the target, because they were friends. They did hang out, but.....she left him. He felt abandoned, and he was going to get her back,

Floraβs hope of distraction had flown right out the window and did a backflip on the way down because oh god Ellie and Cas were arguing. Outwardly, her expression was a bit alarmed as she stared into the fire (expertly avoiding looking in the direction of the action) but on the inside she was screaming. She could never deal with people around her being angry. The voices practically fed off of high-tension situations, getting louder as the mood dropped. Right now, she could barely hear her own thoughts over the cacophony inside her head.
One particular voice stood out, louder and clearer than the rest.
βPut your hand in the fire. Thatβll make them stop fighting.β
She shot to her feet, terrified by what her mind tried to get her to do. She picked up her bag and muttered an βExcuse me,β before leaving the campfire, ignoring how awkward and rude she felt. She just had to get away from the fire. Away from the people. Away from everything.
She sat down against a tree a good twenty feet away and put on her headphones. As she listened to soothing music, an awful feeling welled up inside of her. She probably just made everyone feel worse than they already did by suddenly taking off. She felt like crying, but she didn't. Instead, she just took deep breaths, trying to be as quiet as possible so she didn't attract anymore attention to herself than she already had.

Then the drama started. Gemma rolled her eyes. Neither Cas nor Ellie were really close friends of hers, but they were friends with her friends and so, she held tight to Lina to keep her from jumping in. Whatever was going on between the two, it wasn't going to be stopped by someone else. Not without it getting worse. Still.. "Guys... we're here for Lisa. If you have problems with each other, take it somewhere else." She looked at Cas, the alcohol in her system giving her some courage. "And don't pretend you weren't looking for this all night." When Cas revealed he was a stripper, Gemma wasn't sure if she was really surprised. Cas always had a need for a spotlight and a youth pastor was not going to cut it. She knew a reaction is what the two wanted, so Gemma simply didn't react. Instead, she took another swig from her up, warmth corsing through her once more.
