Bumping this up again. Come on guys get your character sheets up and in. And for those of you who peruse but have yet to decide if you're going to join, send me character sheets! Once you do that you'll definitely want to join!

You have roughly a week to get character's in, before I get bored and give up. Its no fun to play alone.

Alright my first character, a waterbender, is up, take a look at the profile, and try to make yours of similar quality and quantity.

The first episode (a two parter) aired on the 24th online, on the nickwebsite I believe. I watched it, it was awesome. It reminded me how much I love Avatar, and inspired me to create an RP in between the two. The White Lotus are very prominent members of society, who deal in the raising, training, and protection of the Avatar until (and maybe even after) the Avatar masters the four elements. They're kind of like the spiritual advisors of the Avatar, as well as appearing to be the most powerful council in the world, as they control the Avatar. They definitely are still good guys, and I think it's the same role they had before the Fire Nation started the war, and Aang got himself frozen.

It's definitely different from the original, it's got a serious steampunk vibe, there is a huge sport known as Probending now, and there are these bad dudes led by a masked man called Amon whose goals are to end all bending, as he sees it as an unfair advantage. But it's also still really boss, with the same humor, and the animation may be even better. It's definitely worth a watch.

Ahh I didn't know. Well, I'll get to work. If you mind me asking, did the Legend of Korra begin already? I haven't kept up with it, being that I don't think it'll live up to the original.

In the Legend of Korra, two of the main characters are brothers, one is a firebender, the other an earthbender, so it's fine.

I'd like to join. I'd send in two characters a male and a female. Now I do want them to be siblings but of different elements. From what I understand from the series, children with different parents only inherit one elements (unless an Avatar), so if its an okay, I'll get to work on the characters. I may make two male siblings, so I'm not 100% sure yet.

I'll be working up 10 NPC Masters if this takes off (1 for each element, and 1 for nonbenders, on each side), so don't worry, whatever character's you create will have powerful masters to train them.

As for my personal characters I'm probably going to go with an earthbender and a waterbender (since I always play wind characters in all kinds of games, and airbenders should be very rare, and I don't want to take up an airbender slot if its wanted.)

Seeing as we have two female firebenders, I'll type up Aiguo soon.

Not sure just yet, I want to see how much interest this generates. I'll start accepting the good profiles in the next day or two if I start to receive a decent amount.

Sue me Tiny, I was high as hell on my night time meds when I created this. I give no shit over the occasional typo, I jus dun wnt liek a bunch of litte tweenies typing like this.

And the limit is to prevent any one character from overwhelming the others. I also don't want pairs writing a huge amount back and forth that not only does everyone have to read, but speeds along the plot pacing. That's my job. I'M the GM, so I'd like plot pacing and content to be at least relatively in my control so I can prevent it from dying and keep everyone involved.

And Tiny, if you can't get behind me and are gonna stay this ornery, just don't join. I don't want to be fighting with, or insulted and questioned by one of my players constantly

I'd like to point out that you expect people to be literate, but there is a typo even within your title.

Also, I'd like to know the reasoning behind the posting LIMIT.

This is the auto-generated OOC topic for the roleplay "Bender's of War"

BASIC PREMISE
A terrorist cell bent on world domination is sweeping the globe. They waited, planning, until Avatar Aang died. Then, taking advantage of the grand, but precarious steps to global peace that have been made, they attacked. They are more assassins, and guerrilla warfare fighters than head on armies, but they are incredibly dangerous, having learned the most deadly and lethal variations of their attacks. They call themselves the Black Lotus, an ancient brother organization of the White Lotus, thought to have been destroyed centuries past As such, only the newly growing White Lotus can take them on, as they return to former glory.

RULES
ALL characters will be OC.
No Canon characters will make an appearance in the game.
No OP characters, not everyone can blood bend, and metal bend, or lightning bend, so be original, but don't be to OP.
No godmodding (does that even need saying?)
You must be literate, and capable of at least 3 paragraphs per post.
Everyone must post at least once every other day.
No one should post more than twice a day, unless it's a group event.

Most characters should be kids between 12 and 20, and rank as Privates would were the Orders armies. If you'd like to be a trainer, or a higher ranking member, you're character will have to have been with their order for a while, and you'll need to talk to me about it. If you want to be an elder, one of the council for the order, and the most respected members of the orders, you'll have to PM and get my ok to even start working on a profile.

Finally, be diverse and realistic, there aren't many airbenders even now. In cannon there are only 4, Aangs son and his 3 grandchildren, but I'll be a bit more lenient of you have a good story. Try to make your character unique, but someone who definitely fits in the world.

Oh yeah, and tech is on the rise so if you want a gun or car or something of relatively basic design, PM me.
