Adelae Kingsley, despite the confidant air about her, is actually quite a delicate and weak-willed individual. She has been this way ever since she began speaking her mind as a toddler, around the time medical professionals labeled her as permanently ailing. Her family is prone to worry extensively in her stead, so she has put up a carefree countenance for years in an attempt to lessen the blow. The same goes for any friends she has made over the course of school, making sure her sickly nature was not an issue. On the plus side, this keeps Adelae's own worries about the future at bay, though sometimes in her own company her mind races and causes periods of insomnia. It is the one complaint many of her peers, mostly teachers, have had with her and her constant napping during the day to make up for lack of sleep. Adelae has never been a people-person, though she wants to be, and throws caution in the wind when joining a clique. Her nonbelligerent behavior is often the subject of manipulation, suggestion, and persuasion from others, getting her into trouble.
She has a hard time concentrating, easily distracted, and has a bad habit of daydreaming when she is supposed to be doing something else. You could call her creative for all her vivid dreaming and over the top essays she writes, but Adelae much prefers spending her time watching the world outside her window. It is a favorite pass time of hers. Just watching life go by and seeing how people and animals alike choose to go about their day. Unfortunately, her family does not consider this productive and to keep her mind healthy they try to engage her in as many activities as possible. Nothing sporty, however. The only thing similar that she is permitted to do is swimming which she does when she goes to the gym.
Adelae, at her best, is possibly the most loyal friend anyone would have the privilege of having. She loves to listen to people and offer advice, even though it can prove to be rather naive, and she is that one friend someone could call up at any time to do just about anything. Whenever you need her, Adelae is there. At her worst, she can be a total mess of snot, tears, and pent up frustration that could blow up with one measly trigger. Emotional to the core, it is not hard to offend her or hurt her feelings with a statement that could mean generally nothing. Adelae thinks about it too hard and comes up with some excuse to make it against her. Terrible habit. But overall all, considering both the good and the bad, Adelae really just makes sure she lives out her life to the fullest.
