Full Name: Jason Adam Marks
Nicknames: Jay
Age: 14
Grade:[b] Freshman(9th)
[b]Birthdate: May 19th
Sexuality: Straight
Likes: Lacrosse, travelling, camping, hiking, animals
Dislikes: Being inside too much, math, malls(they bore him), girls who only care about their image
Fears and Dreams: He's afraid of not being accepted in high school, and his dreams are to travel over Europe, and to climb Mt. Everest.
Personality: Jason is a sweet guy, and can be very trustworthy. He's good for serious conversations as well as goofing off, and because of his empathy he's easy to get along with. He doesn't mind being alone, or being different from other people. What he does mind, is letting everyone know he's different. He wants to be known mostly as a stereotypical jock. Also, he wants to be part of the popular crowd, and get through high school easily. He's somewhat shy, and he feels like if he can make it into that group he won't have a problem. Although he wants to be one of them, he won't be mean to anyone that's not. He's pretty against being mean for no reason, and tries as hard as he can to stay out of any fights.
He may come off as serious, but he wouldn't be called emotionless. He rather not talk, then talk and be made fun of. You can usually get a smile out of him easily, but you can't actually tell how he's feeling by looking at him. If you asked him, he'd probably say he was alright, even if he wasn't. He wants to keep the tough guy exterior, and really talks about himself, his problems, or home life. He's much more interested in other people, and what's going on with them.
Being a freshman, he tries to blend into the background, and not be seen too much. He does try to be social, but struggles with being funny, and making small talk. Being young, he's somewhat innocent, and he's pretty clean, not doing any drugs or drinking. He's somewhat nervous he will be made fun of for that too. When it comes to girls, he's only had two girl friends. Both were in his last year of junior high, one starting in April, and ending in June, and the next was just a summer thing before they went to high school. He spent most of his Junior high life focusing on sports, and didn't have time for girls anyway. He's still a virgin, and more of a gentleman. He doesn't feel right pressuring people, and only does what makes them comfortable.
As for his intelligence, he's average. He's a pretty straight B student, but struggles mostly in math. Being slightly dyslexic with numbers, he get confused often and takes much longer than others to do homework and tests. He also doesn't want people to know about his dyslexia. Any other subject comes mostly easy to him, and he just carries along trying to get by.
History: Jason grew up in a nice neighbourhood, near a field and a creek. Nestled at the end of a dead end street, he grew up very safe. His mother is a very kind and caring woman, and often babied him. Every cut or scratch was a huge deal, even if he didn't want it to be. She worked from home, and money was never an issue for them, since his father worked as well. His father is much more strict than his mother. He always seems to be pushing Jason to do more. Jason mostly felt like he's not good enough for his father, whenever he made an achievement his father told him what he should've done better. His mother of course, would congratulate him constantly, but he could only expect that from her.
Even as he got older, his father would make him study and practice hard, not giving him much time for friends. His father felt that he should learn to be a man, and got him a job from his friend the moment he could work. Jason often tries to please his father, listening and doing what he's told. Lately he's a bit tired of it, and finding that he doesn't want to fight with his father about everything he does.
Around when he was young, his mother had another baby, giving him a little sister. He loved her probably just as much as his mother did, and feels somewhat protective over her even now. She's a year younger than him, and they've been somewhat close. On and off though, because his father doesn't treat them the same. He's much easier on his sister because he's somewhat sexist in to believing she should be more of a lady, and be polite and not get her hands dirty.
Sometime along, he went on a camping trip, and fell in love with exploring the woods. He loved every minute of hopping over steams, hiking through the forest, and sitting by a camp fire. Whenever he went on vacation, he enjoyed trying new things, and learning new experiences. From this he knows his dream is to travel.
Anything else? He's on the cross country team in the fall, and on the lacrosse team in the spring.
