Freya playfully rolled her eyes as she twirled a strand of hair around her finger "Yes, well Frey you are forgetting he is also one of my oldest friends, so we are going. End off." she stated not taking no for an answer "besides think off all the hot guys who will be there, Shane's house is so big you probably won't even run into him" she said a smile appearing on her face.

"Oh and by the way, got my ATM again. I need to re stock my closet with new clothes for this season and for next season- just in case I find something cute," Nodding she liked that idea, she couldn't remember the last time she had some retail therapy "sure, sounds fun" she agreed "We'll head over there after school."

"Anyway I best be off, got American History first with old batalax Jones" Freya groaned, she loved the class but hated the teacher, that seemed to be the way "I'll see you at lunch?"

Saying her goodbyes, Freya hurried up the stairs towards her classroom, as she walked in the older woman looked at her from over the brim of her glasses "your almost late Ms Astor" she stated sternly.

Freya forced a smile "almost" she reminded her sarcastically. Sitting down next to someone she didn't recognize she smiled at the girl "Hey, are you new?" she asked friendly whilst getting her book out of her bag.

Riding the pre owned Harley he got for his self after the war, Scott arrived in the new school he enrolled at. Everyone seems to in their perfect back to school wear while he opted to go with an old set of tattered jeans, a shirt his aunt gave him and a few things he got while he was stationed in Iraq, including his shoes, cap and dog tag.

He parked a little bit further, of course most of the slot near the entry way of the school were already occupied. He turned off the the engine and got off the Harley then proceeded towards the school. Almost everyone knew everyone, except him. Being a guy, people are more accustomed to think that he should make the first move. But being a shy guy that he is, he'd rather spend lunch alone. Besides, he might meet a good friend somewhere anyway.

Scott had already managed to know what he needs to do so the first day went easy on him. He arrived at his first class, American History where a few people are already seated while the teacher remained missing. He got a seat at the back part, looking around when his eyes were once again caught by a familiar girl. The very girl he talked to at the beach just this morning. His face suddenly become flushed as he tried to act nonchalant about it.

Damn Scott, act natural. He scolded his self.

She looked so pretty in her obviously expensive dress while she animatedly talked to another pretty- hippie looking girl. The morning sun added a halo like aura to her as she sat down gracefully. Looking like an angel, Scott's heart skipped a beat.

"Hey," Scott was startled by the girl when she loudly whispered to catch her attention, "Might as well sit down next to someone you know"

He smiled back but was too shy to even approach her. After 10 seconds of arguing with his self, he stood up and took a seat just behind her and hippie looking girl.

"Hi," he softly said and offered his hand towards the girl from the beach then to the other one and introduced his self, "Scott by the way." He mentioned trying his best not to be noticed by the teacher who was obviously was a boring one.

"You! Can you repeat what I just said?" He was suddenly called by the teacher who introduced her self as Mrs. Jones.

Perfect timing, just perfect. He awkwardly stood up and tried to recover the information he had heard earlier but to no avail the only thing going on his mind was the girl from the beach who was sitting in front of him right now.

"I- uh-" Come on Scott. "Well- I-"

"What? You what?" Mrs. Jones continued to ask. He was supposed to redeem his pride when the bell rang. He didn't know whether to be relieved or be humiliated. He had to grab his things before he can even show his face towards the girl from the beach.

"Next time- stop chatting in my class. I'm letting you slip this time. You may leave now." Mrs. Jones dismissed the class even though half of it was already dashed out of the room.

He placed his bag on his arm, gave the two girls a wave of goodbye and a said in a small voice, "See you."

Where are you? Lunch- I'm starving. And we're having the next class together remember? I can't wait to get out of here xo Read

Reader typed in carelessly unto her phone as she sent the message to Frey. It was barely half of the day and she's starting to feel bored and irritated. The day passed by and now it was lunch time. She was mad hungry and it is one of the reasons for her bad mood. She directly walked towards their lunch table, and like other things it was specially "reserved" for them.

She was about to call Frey (out of impatience because her best friend still hasn't replied to her message) when she saw Frey talking to another girl. Reader had to admit that the girl looked pretty but dressed weirdly. Like she was pulled out of That 70's Show. And being her usual self, Reader is mostly selfish of things that belong to her- including her best friend.

Reader quickly pushed her chair away and stood up. Went directly towards Freya and spoke, "Frey, I've been texting you." Totally ignoring the new girl she linked her left arm to Frey's right arm. "I'm starving. What should I get?" She wondered out loudly, hoping that Freya wouldn't be here usual self and invite the new girl to have lunch with them.

She couldn't quite understand her best friends sometimes. She seems to be friendly with a lot of people- and that annoys Reader.

"Frey, I've been texting you." Readers voice stopped her and Rivers conversation "hey Read" she smiled "Sorry babe was talking to River. Reader this is River, River, Reader" she smiled introducing the two, knowing instantly this was a bad idea, Reader didn't exactly get along with new people.

Freya smiled kindly at River, silently apologising in advance if her best friend says anything insulting or mean, because lets face it this was Reader so that was bound to happen. "Oh I'm starving too! Could just eat a chicken burger or something" she mentally craved as her stomach rumbled "oh River you should join us! I wouldn't have you sitting by yourself!" she stated, however judging by the look on Readers face she had asked the wrong thing.

"oh River you should join us! I wouldn't have you sitting by yourself!" Freya's words started ringing in her ears. She had dreaded this a minute ago and somehow Freya still insisted. She tried to give her best fake smile and nodded towards the girl named River. "Yeah, you should totally join us." If Read was in a movie she could have won a best actress award for it.

"I'm having a salad and some chicken fingers, chicken burger sounds great but it'll be too heavy on the stomach." Reader shared hoping that River would notice that she's Freya's best friend and that no one should take her place.

(OOC: I've edited my character a little bit, just a heads up :)

"Yeah, you should totally join us." Freya shook her head at her friends sarcastic comment and shot her a be nice look "You worry way too much about you eat Read, you look great" she laughed lightly as the three headed towards the food counter, grabbing a tray, Freya grabbed a diet coke and a chicken burger with a few sashes of mayo to go with it, she paid and took a seat at their usual table "So River has just moved here from San Francisco" Freya explained as she sipped on her drink.

Hearing her phone ring, Freya pulled it out of her bag "Hello?" she said pressing one hand against her other ear to block out the background noise "Andy? What-I can't hear you, hold on" she said standing up "I won't be a second" she to the girls before hurrying out of the cafeteria to the quieter courtyard "Hey that's better, whats up?" she asked her brother.

"You getting lunch?" he asked getting straight to the point.

Freya laughed "I swear your like a bottomless pit when it comes to food Andy, but yes I'm in the cafeteria" she said leaning back against a pillar.

"Sweet. I'll be there in a bit" he said "bye."

"Yeah see ya." Freya replied putting her phone back into her bag, looking up she saw Scott and a blonde girl she thought to be Tessa talking on a bench, with a sigh she shook her head, she could help but feel disappointed and slightly sad, they never fell for her, it was either Reader or some other pretty girl, but never herself. Turning quickly she hurried back inside to the cafeteria forcing a smile onto her face, "Hey, sorry about that, Andy's on his way" she said sitting back down.

Read gave her best friend a look as if saying "Okay. I'll behave" and a sweet smile like a child caught being mischievous and tries to get off a punishment. She followed her towards the line when she commented about her food choices, "You worry way too much about you eat Read, you look great" At which she pouted her lip in a playful way and replied, "I have to. If no one looks after me no one will." Which was basically true. Of course she can always afford any hospital bill even if it's in Paris but aside from the doctors and the nurses only Freya comes to visit her when she's admitted. Her parents excuse- she'll get better anyway. They can't afford getting sick themselves if they visit her in a germ infested place like a hospital.

"So River has just moved here from San Francisco" Frey informed her. As if I could care less. Reader thought but her voice said the opposite, "That's great to hear. How do you like Beverly Hills so far?" Trying to sound as friendly as she can, Reader was actually intrigued about what the new girl thinks about her territory.

Just as they arrived and seated at their usual table, Frey excused herself and took a call. Leaving her with River in an awkward situation. But Reader knows better than to feel threatened by a new comer so she came up with a pretty naughty thing in her mind and asked River. "Are you like a hippie or something? Like do you only eat vegetables? What does your Mom and Dad do that you have to move to Beverly Hills? By the way, did you know that Freya and I have been best friends since forever? Nothing comes between us- and I hope nothing will. I don't know what I can do if someone tried to break our friendship. Only can only imagine." She knows she sounded stupid or arrogant but she wanted to make River feel that West Beverly Hills High is her kingdom and that she shouldn't even try to compete with Reader.

Freya then walked back to their table and announced, "Hey, sorry about that, Andy's on his way"

It immediately made Reader roll her eyes and say, "Andy? Can't he spend one day without bothering you? It's not like you don't see each other everyday." She complained as she munched on her salad, pushing away the croutons which she considers as bad for her diet. Of course Freya's brother is one hunky guy but she thinks he acts immaturely.

"Of course you do remember," Reader giggled and said in a matter as if saying "and now you have to pay me back". Just then one of her least favorite person came to join them for lunch and it was too late to refuse to have him over as her bestfriend and her brother had already agreed.

"Can't wait until tonight Shane", Frey mentioned. Looks like she does have to show up at Shane's party after all.

"Shane make sure it won't be a bore okay?" She gave Shane a quick look then returned her gaze to Andy, "Oh and Andy, mind if I speak with you in private? It'll be real quick. I promise," She gave him a sweet smile while she cooks up an evil plan underneath.

"Shane, behave. River isn't used to men like you," She teased, probably guessing right as well. Then pulled Andy away from their table.

Reader lead him towards a shaded table just outside the cafeteria. "Don't worry I won't ask you to do a death defying stunt." She assured him. "Besides, I just wanted you to meet a new girl. She's fun but doesn't want to have any strings attached. She just wants to play around, you like that kind of thing right?" Read explained, thinking of Analise as she talked to Andy.
