Image
Personality:Lolly is a quick witted, sharp tongue girl who doesn't have much of a filter. She says whatever is on her mind, good or bad and does not care how is makes someone feel as long as it is the truth. She displays an aire of confidence to hide her insecurities, one of the many being her former employment. She uses sarcasm and dark humor to hide her real emotions, except anger. She has a predisposition towards violence, and has no problem throwing a punch, or whatever’s close. That being said, Lolly can be sweet, and even a bit playful and is deep inside a good person. She tries to hide that fact but overall she’s looking out for the greater good. Even if that means putting a bullet in the head of the bad guys.

Quirks/Habits:
When Lolly gets annoyed or being impatient, she taps her foot, (if she’s sitting) she shakes her leg.
When she’s on the cusp of hitting someone during an argument, e.i angry, her nostrils flare and like a bull, she expels air from her nose.
She cocks her head to the side when she’s confused.

Her hopes used to be to become a professional dancer but now, all she hopes for is to find and kill the man who made her what she is.

Gunslinger
Vehicular Mechanics
Martial Arts/Hand to Hand combat

Weapons:Guns of many types however her favorite is her .357 Magnum.

Weakness(es): The Nanites are currently fighting for dominance in Lolly’s body. The more she uses them the more they control her, driving her mad. She tends to claw manically at herself and has yet to find a way to calm herself down before either throwing her head against the wall, or somehow rending herself unconscious.
During this time, she can be hacked, and reprogrammed and one well placed EMP and she can be “shut down”.
When they start to take control, her eyes start to bleed.

History

Biography: Lolly was a rather peculiar girl. Raised by a single father, who didn’t really know what to do with a little girl, and a criminal in his own right. He decided then he’d raised her like she was a boy. He taught her how to defend herself as best he could, a few martial arts lessons here and there, he taught her how to fix and steal cars and bikes but what really stuck was when he taught her how to shoot. She was scary good, even at a young age. A gun slinging protégée, if there were such a thing. She was almost scary good at it.
It didn’t make her a lot of friends in school, most kids didn’t even know what a Magnum even was let alone how to use it. And it didn’t help that when she got older, she grew into her looks. She was a beauty and everyone knew it. It was around that time that she found her love of dance, dreams of being a professional dancer, made her too many male friends. Her father was very glad he taught her how to use a gun by then. Image
Things were rather uneventful for a few years until her father got sick. Cancer. When he was diagnosed, it was as if they both got it. After a while, her father couldn’t work, so Lolly took up odd jobs here and there, until finally, she couldn’t juggle them all. Down on her luck and her father’s medical bills shooting sky high, Lolly went to work at the one place she knew being pretty and knowing how to dance would get her a great deal of money, in a short amount of time.
She went to work at Leather and Lace, a strip joint in the badlands. She cried the first night but after awhile she managed to swallow her emotions and do what she had to for her father. It wasn’t the best thing in the world but she managed until that faithful night. Image
It was a good day that day, she made a lot of money, and had been walking to her bike, her father’s old Harley. It was big and loud, very much a guy’s bike. She was fishing for her keys when a group of men screeched up on in a black van, and snatched her from the street. In the badlands, she could have made better use of her time, river dancing for all the good that her struggling and screaming did. She didn’t have enough time to get her gun, as they chloroformed her, shortly after grabbing her.
When she woke up, she was in a cell, her entire body ached and she felt like something crawling in her skin. In a panic, she began clawing at her skin, her nails ripping through the flesh, only for them to slowly heal, without so much as a scab.
She was approached by a man, then, whose name she never received. She’s only ever heard him addressed as “Sir.” He told her what was going on. She’d been kidnapped and taken to a lab outside of the city for experimentation. She’d been in a medical induced coma, and still should have been until the programming was finished, though something went wrong. When she asked him why her, he said it was because she was a no named whore that no one would miss.
Something in Lolly’s head snapped and she lunged at the man, but was stopped midway but just barely. He then told her she’d been injected with nanites that were grafting to her bones, and blood and she was under their control. He left shortly after that.
He was only half right. The nanites in her body had begun learning; they overrode the control safety and left Lolly free to do whatever she pleased.
In this case was escape. It wasn’t an easy escape either, as she was faced with guards, security and other scientists. She found other though that she was stronger and faster then she ever was. She managed to disarm and put down four guards before escaping into the night. Image
Cold, alone and dressed in only a hospital gown, she walked, and walked, until she found herself back in the badlands. Her luck didn’t stop there as she was then approached by a couple of drunks. Thinking her an easy score, She made short work of most of them until one shot her in the chest. The nanties spit out the bullet and healed her wounds but then they tried taking over for the first time. Her eyes begun to bleed, and she began shaking violently and she began to claw at herself, the madness overwhelmed her until she stumbled backwards, her head hitting the ground hard, rendering her unconscious.
When she awoke, she found herself face to mask with the drug lord Toxic and after a mishap with a guy, a gun and that guy with a broken arm, he offered her a job. Promising her the help of a doctor on his pay roll, and vengeance for the men that did this to her. She accepted.

So begins...

Prologue: Humanity and Beyond

The Universe....it's a big place out there. Within the infinite span of the cosmos is it really just fantasy, to think that there may other be forms of life? Well probability wise, it is illogical to believe that there isn't an indefinite amount of lifeforms and civilizations out there. In fact it is illogical just to believe that there is only one form of sentient life. Yet, who does believe in the illogical? Who is so vain or so ignorant to believe that their world is the only world with life on it? Humankind is. Yet, one shouldn't blame the Humans for this illogical conclusion, they have yet to see any proof otherwise....or have they?

Welcome to the Earth! A veritable paradise within the infinite span of the cosmos. It is here the Human Race calls home and it is here they remain, not always blissfully, unaware of the Universe surrounding them. They do say ignorance is bliss but denial is a whole different story. While the world at large does not believe in the fantastic or the Supernatural, thinking that this sort of thing is all fantasy! Although many are ignorant there are plenty more who have experienced these things and there are those who deny the proof. Many of the world's government and scientific communities deny these claims of the unthinkable, writing off those that believe as insane. Yet, when they are delivered absolute proof and they deny it, is that anymore sane? Many people from the shadows have worked to keep these people silent and have worked to seal away all evidence. Is it still just fantasy?...Or is the unimaginable real?

To the world these are all just wild speculation. But what if I told you that soon, what we believe to be unreal will become a thing of reality? What if the world was heading to some great apex that would spin the world on an entirely new axis? The truth of the matter is, that our world is changing. More and more, sightings of the fantastic are being reported more frequently, everything for UFO Sightings, to Monster Sightings, to reports of Humans doing Inhuman things. Is this all just speculation or is it cold hard proof? We are all heading for some great unknown and while the population will not understand and may even resist this change, they will not be alone. This change will bring great danger but it will bring great security as well. There are people out there right now. What looks to be ordinary Men and Women are actually far from ordinary. They work to understand themselves and the world around them. All the while preparing for a great change that will not only change the ordinary but the extraordinary as well.

And just who are these people you ask? Why they are you. Whoever you may be you have something special, something that this world desperately needs, even if it doesn't acknowledge that it needs you. Although the biggest question isn't who they are, they all very well know who they are, even if they are confused. No, the greatest question to ask is how they will change the world? Not every change is good and some change may be change for the worst. After all we are only Human and the unfortunate thing about Humanity, is their capacity to do great good but also do great evil. We have no idea who lead the charge for change but I can assure you, a struggle will ensue for the betterment of the planet. A struggle that will push all parties involved to the edge, but lets not be so dark shall we? This battle has yet to take place and the worst of it is still to come. No at this moment in time we look to the seeds of change. They are being planted as we speak.

As we speak, people from all over the world and even beyond are discovering more about themselves and the world. Yet none of them understand the gravity of it all. Many are still self-absorbed into their own worlds to consider they are stepping into a world far larger than their own. This is the story about these extraordinary beings and their trials and tribulations. This is a story about their growths, their highs and their lows. It is a story about discovery and it is a story about destiny. We now enter a world that still seems ordinary but underneath lies something quite the contrary. I welcome you to enter a world that is still Human as I ask you change it into something that is....Beyond Human.

Chapter 1: The Beginning

Welcome to the beginning of a new world...no wait scratch that. Welcome to the end of the old world. Yes that is much better. Don't worry it's not the apocalypse or anything like that. No it's more like the end of an era...and trust me the times they are a changin'! As Bob Dylan would sing. Anyway before I ramble, allow me to introduce myself, my name is Andrew Benjamin Novus. You call me Andy for short, or if you prefer by my moniker, Professor Extraordinarius! Kind of a mouth full yes, but I like it! It perfectly describes my life. It has been nothing short of extraordinary! Still, I am no the focus, well, not the whole focus. The real focus is on the everyday accounts of a whole slew of other extraordinary people! My accounts are just one little jigsaw in the puzzle of life. No, you need every jigsaw to solve the puzzle, so without further ado, how about we work on making these jigsaws fit shall we? *He then hums happily*

Ah yes, quite a bit of jigsaws I see...well, this is going to make for one long puzzle. I think every should sit down....*he then whispers*...it's gonna be a long one. Anyway, how about I let the big guy tell you a story, I'm sure from his perspective he won't leave out any details. *He then perks up and then motions you closer so he can whisper* The reason why won't is because he hardly says anything, he lets the characters do the work. *He then chuckles as the Professor moves away* Anyway take it away big guy! *He then leans in close again* And by him I mean all of you. *He then winks as he pulls away*

* * *

The Earth, it still turns as it ever did. The plants are still growing, the animals are still surviving, and Humanity is still progressing. Idyllic and average. But that is all about to change....we now begin your story.

The setting changes from earth to The Universe

Collab Post from unseenshadow2 (Anthony "Tony" Onino (Toxic)) and MaliceInWonderland (TrickShot/ Lola "Lolly" Cervantes)
Atlantic City, New Jersey:

Toxic looked down at the knocked out woman in a hospital gown through his mask. "What the hell did you bring me?" He questioned the dealer that stood before him. The dealer swallowed. "Well, Boss, I saw this girl, she ain't like nothing I've ever seen, Took out four guys." He said and then looked at the girl. He knew she didn't look like much but he saw it with his own eyes. "It was crazy." He said rubbing the back of his neck. "She kinda went cray though, started scratching at herself but it just healed right up, but she kinda knocked herself out during the thing..." He sighed, knowing he sounded insane himself.

Toxic took the knife that his guard wore at all times from its solem sheath. Grabbing the blade of the combat knife with his gloved hand, he held the handle out to the nervious dealer. "You know better than to just bring me empty claims and expect me to believe them. Prove what you have." Toxic spoke, his voice sounding slightly deeper than normal as he thrust the handle even closer to the man before him.The dealer gulped, gingerly taking the knife. He looked at the girl, blood rimming her closed eyes. He didn't know what to do as he approached her cautiously. He knelled down, the knife shaking in his hand and just as he went to press the blade against the soft skin of her arm. Her eyes sprang open and she spun out of his reach and to her feet. She stood like a trapped animal, breathing hard and ragged, her hands clenched at her side. "Where am I!?" She hissed, her eyes darting around the room, eying each of the men before landing on Toxic. "Who are you?!"

Looking over at his guard, Toxic spoke a simple line "Put just one round in her." With that phrase the guards pistol shot from its holster roaring with a single round screaming for her leg.She darted forward, the bullet catching her thigh but she kept moving, grabbing the guard at her front , her hands closing around his wrists, she yanked his arm downward, turned her body and slammed his elbow over her shoulder, snapping the bone and causing him to drop his weapon. As it fell, she reached out in one swift movement, she snatched the gun out of the air, turned and fired. Dropping three of the men at her left, right and in front. She aimed her gun at the masked man. "Where, am I?" She asked again, as the bullet in her leg spat out and hit the floor. "I don't like repeating myself."

"You didn't need to repeat yourself, I was just testing that nervious shrimp's claims." Toxic said, pointing over at the dealer, who was still holding the knife he had been given earlier. "You're in the Docks district, in a little warehouse. Of course, I care more about replacing those bodies you just took out." He said as his hand swept over to point at the general area of the guards that the woman had taken out. Toxic then shot a glance to the dealer, followed by "Get my guard to the doc."
She looked at the scared looking man helping the guard with the broken arm. She didn't know what to make of all this, the Docks were not a place a girl wanted to be if she vauled her life so how in the good hell did she end up here. "How did I get here?" She asked a little more calm now, though she was getting antsy, her skin feeling a bit too tight.

"How the hell would I know?" Toxic asked, shrugging his shoulders. He walked over to the desk sitting near the far wall from the garage doors, taking a seat in the office chair that looked too small to fit his armor. "The shrimp brought you here. I haven't the faintest were the hell he got you from, or exactly how he haulded you here."
Kidnapped twice in one year, un-freaking- believable. "Un-fucking-believable..."She groaned before her body began to quake, her skin felt like it was crawling. "N-not again."She muttered, She clutched her hand against her chest, as if that would stop the shaking and the itching. "H-Help me..." She pleaded, before the crawling got worse and she started scratching at herself, her nails ripping at her skin, blood rising up from the scratches before they closed again. Her breathing quickened and she dropped to the floor, seizing against the concrete.

Toxic watched what was happening, being reminded of what the dealer had told him. With a swift, and well practiced, movement, Toxic was standing. A few moments later and he was standing over the woman. "Night, night." He spoke as the small, yellow mist came from the tips of his fingers. It was little more than a sleeping gas, but he wouldn't have to worry about damaging the strange woman. After "tossing" some of the gas at her, Toxic walked back over to his desk. He ripped a small piece of paper from a notepad before writing "Warehouse 13-26, Toxic" and walking back over to the woman. Carefully folding the paper and placing it in her pocket. Toxic then strolled over to the door to his back, knocking on it three times. "Yes sir?" Came a voice from the other side. "Put the lass somewhere nice."

Lola awoke in a decent looking motel room. She was grogging and had no idea how she got here but at least this time she awoke on a bed instead of a cell, or a floor. Her head swam a bit as she sat up. Her clothes were still the same, a hospital gown, which meant everything she remember was real. There was blood on her arms, and on her leg, but no scarring. She looked around before sighing outloud. She had to think. She was some sort of freak but she wasn't alone...she had to find her dad. She hoped he was alright, he was in a really bad when that night before work and that was weeks ago. She got to a phone and dailed. There was no answer for a while before it went to voice mail. She huffed, tapping her foot as she checked her own voicemail. "you have 20 new messages" Lolly looked at the phone before listening to them

By the end of it, she was in tears, the phone clattering to the floor. He didn't make it. Her father had been dead for weeks. She took a moment, wiping her face. She took a deep breath before searching the room, needing something to take her mind off of her father's death. She found nothing really, a table, chairs, whoever put her in this room sprang for cable, that was nice. The room was otherwise empty. Until she checked the closet. There were clothes all in her size, how they came to that knoweldge she really didn't want to think about. They were nice enough, a pair of jeans, some undergarments, a baseball tee, a jacket and some boots. At this point, she'd wear anything but the hosptial gown. She decided then, she'd shower, get dressed and decide what to do from there.
After turning on the water, Lolly removed her clothes, only for a small slip of paper to fall out of the pocket. She cocked her head some before picking it up. She opened it and read. "Toxic?" She inquired allowed. Her went back in her mind, the memory playing behind her eyes like a movie shot in first person. The man in the mask. the last thing she remembered was him standing over her before everything went dark. She set the paper on the sink before taking a much needed shower. Once she finished and dressed, she made her way on foot, in hopes of finidng out somone who may know who this Toxic guy was. But she was in the badlands, a place where if you had any sense, you don't ask questions. So she didn't, she just listened. Her listening led her to a bar, a few men had entered after saying something about work they did for Toxic that got them a huge score. Drugs? Whatever. She took a seat at the bar, ordered water as she was dead broke and hadn't been back to her home yet. She rose the glass to her lips and listened closely to the coversation a little ways away from her.

"Have you ever seen that guy's face?" Asked the one man as the others all shook their heads. Another one looked up and said "I have done over a hundred runs for that guy. All I got is that his stuff just can't be made normally. I have no idea why, or how he is able to make the shit he sells." The one in the middle of the grouped looked to the others before asking "Have any of you even seen what some of the highs of the shit he sells are? One guy I saw just sat their wide eyed, just laughing to the point that he just flopped over, unable to do anything other than laugh. Another guy I saw just passed out. When he woke up a few hours later, he kept talking some weird ass religious shit about have seen six gods." The mens' conversation continued on, droning over the same loop: Money, who Toxic is, what Toxic's drugs did, and who would win at pool.

After a little bit of the droning conversation, Tony walked in. His slightly cheerful gate and happy smile were definately out of place, until he tumbled slightly at got back up. Almost everyone drew the same conclusion, just another drunk looking for a place to drink. This may not have been helped by the fact that his tee shirt was for Dos Equis. With a small bit of stablization from the bar, Tony sat on a stool before turning to Lolly. "How's it goin?" He asked, a slight slir in his voice as he got ready to order, he turned again to her, asking "Want something to drink?"
Lolly looked at him. Something struck her as familar, his height and weight reminded her of someone but his overall disposition was foreign. She scrunched up her nose. "I have something to drink" She said, trying to listen for more about Toxic but didn't get much beyond what she had.

"If you want something a little stronger I foot the bill for someone just to chat with." Tony said, swinging in his chair, almost falling to the ground, before whispering "Most of the people out here don't make good conversation." With a tap of the bar, he took the shot that was given to him and down the hatch it went. His smile and cheer did not seem even the slightest bit phased by the drink, but he began to sway slightly more in the chair. "I don't make for good coversation and I'm not gonna sleep with you." She said, despite really wanting that drink. " It looks like you've had enough anyway." She commented, gesturing to him with her empty water glass.

"It'll be gone if I don't keep drink. The doc says that I metabolize things real fast." Tony said, his slur lessining and his sway slowly leaving as he took another shot, the sway returning almost as soon as the drink went down. "And who said that I wanted to sleep with any one. It's not even night time." He spoke before tumbling back out of the chair and into the biggest guy in the bar. "What the fuck do you think you are doing pip-squeak!" The massive man screemed at Tony. "You sir, need a drink!" Tony replied cheerfully before the man's fist hit him hard enough to send him ragdolling into the bar.

Jumping up nearly immediately after impact. "Oh hell no!" Tony shouted as his body shot at the bigger man. "You did not just make me sober!" He stated as smashed the man with the chair that he had been sitting in just moments ago. After the larger man fell to the floor from the metal chair, Tony walked back over to Lolly, sitting down again. "Three." He said as he threw some money on the table and with a few breaths, his smile was back.
Lolly watched in awe as the man went from drunk to sober, to pissed off and then cheerful all in a matter of moments, but what really struck her was how he was launched across the room and came away without so much as a scratch. She looked at him, scrutinizingly. "I'll take that drink..."

"Change that to four." Tony said as he tossed somemore money on the table. Within another moment, the bartender brought over four shots and took the money from the bar. Without a moments thought, Tony pushed one of the glasses over to Lolly. "Bottoms up." He said as he took the three shots faster than any normal man should, and entering a drucken wable just as many times faster.
Lolly gratefully took the shot, and tossed it back. She was always pretty good at holding her liqior but it was as if she drank water far all the bu that it gave her. She set the glass down and looked at the man. " You're not normal, are you?" She asked and while that question could have been a simple playful jab, she was quite serious. Maybe he was like her, wanting to drink it all away. "I'm Lola, by the way, Lola Cervantes, friends call me Lolly."

"Nice ta meech ya, Lolly." Tony said, swinging his arm carelessly, stopping it before it could hit Lolly. After a single woble and back in his chair, Tony cheerfully said "I'm Tony Onino, and I don't fucking remember what normal is!" His arm remaining out reached, with his hand open. Lolly nodded, with a frown. SHe took his hand anyway. There was something off about this guy-Tony. "So, Tony, if it takes so much for you to get drunk, why bother? I can't seemed to get drunk either and It's beginning to lose it's appeal."

Tony gave off a little laugh before downing another shot. "I'ma lucky. Gettttin drunk ain't the ard purt, is stayin drank." His smile only seemed to widen slightly at the comment. As he sat their, his body seeming to move on its own.Lolly backed up some, having enough of this guy, everything in her screamed for her to fight, attack, but she didn't. " Thanks for the drink, Tony." She said before standing up. She'd find some other way to find out about Toxic, this guy was making her way to uncomfortable. She started heading for the door.

"Aww." Tony said as Lolly left, falling from his chair. "Looks like I have to stumble somewhere else for company." He said as he got up from the floor. He slowly stumbled to the door, eventually leaning on the frame as he looked outside. It was bright. Way too bright. With a reach into his pocket, Tony pulled out a cheap pair of sunglasses that miraculously survived the smashing into the bar. With a moment to look at them, he threw them on, giving him a slightly dorky look.

Lolly made her way across the street, she looked back once at the bar, only to find Tony leaning against the doorframe with an odd pair of sunglasses. She rolled her shoulders and walked, making her way toward her old apartment. It didn't take too long, and walking up the stiars that lead to her place was surprisingly easy, it used to be a real drag and tiring but now, it was almost too easy. She got to her aparetment and reached behind the door number for the spare key that she'd hidden there. She opened the door and home flooded her senses. That lasted all of two seconds when she felt a ping in that back of her skull. Whatever it was, made her duck, bending over backwards to dodge a bullet that came flying her way. She flipped backwards, not entirely sure how she did that and not to concerned with it now. She looked up, still crouched to see about 5 men, filling her apartment. "Lola, You're coming with us." one of them said. "Like hell I am, you tried to kill me." She hissed. "It is a tranquizler." said the main man, holding up his gun "Theirs, however, are not." He told her and she spied all of their weapons. Her muslces tightened in her body, her brain already a few steps ahead, she prepared herself. " You don't want to do this." She said and they all aimed at her, save for the main man. He only rose his chin, as if he didn't see her as anything but a little girl. She'd prove him wrong.
Darting forward, she dropped to her knees as they all began firing. Bullets rang out, zipping by her as she slid on her knees, and slipping underneath the main man. She turned her body, scissoring her legs, and kicking his out rom under him. He fell to the floor, and she climbed atop him, sending the side of her palm into his neck, crushing his windpipe. She got to her feet again, lunging at the men at her left. She caught his face in her hands and whipped his head the wrong direction, snapping his neck. She didn't waist time, going after the next man, who shot at her, his bullets missed as she dodged them, juking like a basketball player. She grabbed his gun from him, and fired, two shots to his chest. Click went the gun, so she turned and tossed it at the head of the man that was coming up behind her. His head jerked back, and she took the oppurtunaity to run up his hcest, and slam him down, she sent her fist into his face, her fist snapping his head left and right, the last swing, knocked his jaw from it's hinge, his neck snapping with a sickening crack. She was then snatched from behind, her arms twisted behind her. She groaned, struggling as she was pulled back and off of the dead man. The man grabbed her by the throat, pressing her against the wall. Gasping, Lolly wrapped her legs around the man's arm and twisted her body, sending them both to the ground. She then used her legs, wrapped them around his neck and squeezed, cutting off his air. He struggled for a bit before going still. Lolly was breathing hard as she climbed off of him, and stood up. Her home was a field of dead bodies and she just knew the cops would be on their way. She quickly got to packing up her stuff in a duffle bag, steeping over bodies as she did so. She pakced clothings, bath stuff and her favorite gun. Her 357 Magnum. She paused to look at it. It was silverplated revovler and her favorite. Her father got it for her for her 16th birthday.
As soon as she heard the sirens she finished up quickly. She grabbed her cellphone, and her keys to her bike. Where her bike even was at this point she had no idea but if she could find it then she had a chance. Luckily, being a stripper, she had cash on hand, the pay from that night, was long gone but she still had plenty stashed around the house. She gathered it all and was out the door, using the fire escape to get away.
She took one last look at her old place and kissed her old life goodbye. She shoved her Magnum into her waistband hiding it behind her shirt and pulled the slip of paper from her pocket. She had to find Toxic. How, she had no idea.

Toxic had returned back to his warehouse. Hopefully Lolly would know enough about the warehouse district to look up the warehouses number that he left her. His attempts to see what she was like only kind of worked. Maybe he should try approaching without faking being drunk? He had time to figure it out, but for now he had other things to do. Adjusting the mask one last time, Toxic walked out of the small changing room that he had in his "office." His next step was the warehouse that he had a doctor without a license set up a makeshift hospital in. It was not the most advanced medical treatment center the world had ever seen, but it was all that his little ring needed to get fixed up without attracting too much attention.

His guard had his whole arm in a cast. Not surprising. "Well, Doc, I doubt that it was all that hard for you." Toxic said, the doctor turning to face the masked man. "It will make a full recovery, but the process could take up to two months, sir." The doctor said, turning back to his other patients. Satisfied with his answer, Toxic went back to his "office," sitting down in the chair.
Now equipt with a phone, it didn't take her long to find the warehouse, her dufflebag slung over her shoulder. She scouted the area. There were armed guards at almost every enterance. She didn't want to fight anymore, not now. She needed help. She's killed more men in the last 12 hours then she' ever hoped to do in her life. She was some sort of monster, and she's been able to kill in ways she never thought possible, and the worse part was she didn't even have to think about it. She took a deep breath and approached one of the guards. "Hey, you don't wanna be here, Missy." said one of the guards. " Yes, I do, Asshole, tell Toxic, I got his message." She said tapping her foot, crossing her arms over her chest. The second guard walked up to them and froze at the sight of her. His friend took notice. " You know this cheeky broad?" He nodded toward Lolly. He nodded. " That's the one, that broke Mason's arm." He said and the other guard looked her up and down. Lolly was skinny little thing, she didn't look like much and most people, even before whatever all this was, didn't take her seriously.
She hated it.
"You need to prove it, Papi?" She asked, her eyebrow shooting up as she looked at him. "No no, We're good, Cmon, I'll take you inside." He said the brighter of the two, and Lolly followed behind him as he lead her to Toxic.
"We'll I'm back, just like you figured I'd be." She said, holding up the note between two fingers. "Now what's the catch?"

"The catch?" Toxic said with a faked questioning tone before leaning back, seeming to be thinking. "Well, I have a little corporation who is trying to study and replicate some of the drugs and toxins that are everyday for me. This is a huge problem. It could cut exponentially into my profits and they could create anti-venoms, something that could be extremely dangerous to me." Toxic sat up, obviously paying more attention to his guest than leaning back in his seat. "I am not going to lie. I have money, connections, and weapons, but alas I am lacking when it comes to people who can handle sabotage. Especially against people who like to play with super-soldier programs."

Toxic now leaned on his desk, his clenching eachother and acting as a point to rest his mask on. "After seeing what you did to Mason, I'm sure that you know that name by now, I am impressed. My proposition is that you go where I ask, you gain cash, and you get an in with a few weapons dealers. If it is a job that needs explosives, I'll provide. Oh, and if I am correct, they might have the machines that Doc might be able to use to help fix that little problem that you have every now and again." As Toxic spoke, his voice still deepened by his mask, he gave off quite the air of confidence. He was certain that anyone who had to be knocked out every now and again to get themselves to stop clawing at their skin would be looking for a little vengence.
Lolly's interest was piqued the moment he said 'super soldier'. Problem was, she wasn't a criminal mastermind, or even that great of a thief. Her dad was...he was a master at it. He was known pretty well in the criminal world but that was ages ago. The thought of her father made her swallow. She couldn't think about that now. She took a breath. "So you think your 'Doc' can figure out how to fix me?" She asked incredeously. "The man that did this. He called them nanites, and they are fucked all the way up, not only are they basically broken, They are grafted to my bones, and in my blood. He's gotta be able to stop them from freaking out and Not kill me." She said with an emphasis on 'not. "If he can do that, then we gotta deal." She felt like she was getting in bed with the devil but right now. God seemed to be looking the other way where she was concerned so she decided, why not. It can't possibly get any worse. "I'm Lola, Lola Cervantes." She added, leaving her nickname out of it. This guy, may be her temporary employer, but he was not her friend...at least not yet.

"Well Lola, all nanites are, if my understanding of electronics is right, really small computers. They still fix you right, so I doubt that they are broken. I am willing to be that they just need to be... updated. Like Windows Vista. The doc is more than able of that, assuming that he has the hardware to get into their teeny, tiny little brains." Toxic said, going back to leaning in his chairs, putting the backs of his boots against the edge of his desk. There was a reason that Doc didn't have a liscense... he was prone to do things that weren't considered ethical, including merging man and machine. Of course, Toxic had yet for any of his workers to actually survive an injury that takes their limb. Guns don't tend to do that.

"Where is this Doc of yours?" She asked crossing her arms over her chest. "I'm not a huge fan of mysteries and right now, that's all my life seems to be, so a little transparenecy would be nice." She said, She felt something tick in the back of her mind. 'Don't trust him' her own voice was saying but it sounded like thousands of her, all at once, speaking in perfect unison. "..And they are talking to me now. Terrific." She huffed, her head cocked to the side. She looked at him and the voices began again. "They are telling me not to trust you." She said and her muscles tensed. She didn't want to attack him, she needed him but everything in her body screamed for a preemptive strike.

"The warehouse next to this one. Look for the one with the white hair, but whatever you do don't mention anything about experiments. He wasn't always just a doctor working for a drug ring. Hell, he always seems sad when someone comes in and they aren't missing a limb." Toxic said, before deciding to add in "However, he doesn't like doing things that his subjects and/or patients don't like. Kinda why I chose him over the hoard of other crazy doctors."
Lolly nodded before going towards the closes door. She looked back. The nanites flashed memories of this morning in to her head. She shook away the thoughts. It was odd.
She followed his directions and knocked on the door of the warehouse beside the one she just in. "Um, Hello, Toxic sent me. He said you could probably help." She called through the door.

A doctor rushed to the door, a small view port opening to show the young man's eyes which quickly shot around the area behind her. "Who are you? What do you need?" The young man spoke again, obviously sightly suspicious of the uninjured woman asking for help from a makeshift hospital.
Lolly was surprised, She didn't expect a young man to answer the door. "I'm Lolly." She said, gently, this guy looked as though he may have been wound up a bit tight, but hell so was she. "It's kind of a long story but the gist is, Nanites are controling my body...or atleast trying to. Toxic said you could maybe help me, if I did some work for him, honestly, I don't want to but I need help. Sometimes I can feel them crawling in my blood, It's gross and the most uncomfortable feeling in the world. Does any of this make sense to you, or am I really just nuts because frankly the latter still is up for debate."

"Then you will want to talk to doc. Give me a sec." Said the young man before the sound of a metal bar slamming into position eminated from the door. With a sound that made nails on a chalkboard sound like beautiful music, the young man managed to drag the metal door open. He then pointed to a main in a doctor's coat who appeared to be doing light surgery, saying "That's doc. At least wait till he's done before you approach him, okay?"
Lolly took a breath, so the young guy wasn't the doctor. Oh well. She looked over some, standing on her toes to get a glimpse of what the doctor was working on. "err, Hello?" She called, hoping to atleast get his attention before she bombarded him with questions and he did seem pretty busy.

"Listen mam, I am trying to remove a kidney right now. If you wouldn't mind waiting till I am done, I could actually devote some attention to you." Doc said as he continued to move his scalpel carefully through the sleeping man's body, with the precision of an atomic clock.

"Sorry, sorry, I just didn't want to startle you." She said defensively. The nanites seemed to not mind this guy or his apprentice as they seemed extra calm. She felt normal again. She turned to the apprentice. " So uh, Hi." She said to the young man."This looks...interesting?" She said with a slight frown at herself for her poor choice of words. "What brings you here?"

"Well, I wanted to apprentice the good doctor in some of his far more interesting experiments, but about a year in and we ran out of money. Toxic came to us, saying that he was willing to pay for off the grid doctors. He doesn't like to skimp, and he is nice to us at least." The young man said, shrugging. "Both of us are just waiting for people to start coming in with strange injuries that require... unique and creative medical solutions. Unfortunately, we rarely get to deal with anything more than gunshots, broken bones, organ transplants and removals, and the occasional third degree burns."

Lolly couldn't help but chuckle. "Wait til ya get a load of me." She said and that was all she had to say after that as she waited for the 'good' doctor to finish.

"Lad. Would you mind taking the patient out of the operating area?" Doc said as he turned around, facing Lolly. "What is it you need?" He gave her a look of curiousity. She had all her limbs, and her body seemed to be in perfect condition. Not normally the type to approach someone with a reputation such as his.

Lolly gave a smile, a nervous one, she clapped her hands together and sighed. "Well, Short verison, I have nanites in my body, who fight for dominance. They are grafted to my bones and are surfing my blood stream and,- this is a recent development- talking to me in my own voice." She said. "What I need...Is kind of a loaded question. There's alot I need, but maybe you can help me, by stopping them from taking over my body. Anything I use them, mostly with healing, they try to use that weakned state to take full control. I kinda have to be knocked unconscious for them to stop. They got into a sleep mode sorta thing when I'm out..."She paused. She didn't know all that before. Maybe Toxic was right, they weren't broken, but maybe they were just confused..like some of them wanted to help. "So, Can ya help me?" She said, flashing him a smile, one that used to get her dad to buy her just about anything she wanted.

The moment that Lolly mentioned nanites Doc lit up like a christmas tree. He held back the urdges to go nuts. After Lolly stopped talking and gave a smile that Doc knew normally meant "Please!!!" He grabbed the handheld microscope and flashlight. Without a moments delay, he was using them to look at one of the man blood vessels inside her eyes. "Okay, what I need is a manual and nanite adapter from their manufacturer, or the people who put them into you in the first place. Of course, I doubt they will give those up easily." Doc said as he drew back from Lolly. "After I have those, all I need is time."
All Lolly could do was stand there, when the flashlight touched her eyes, the nanties shielded them with a thin black layer like sunglasses. She blinked a few times. " I can find them." She said and surprised herself by knowing what he was talking about. She wondered for a moment if she could have figured this out......her mind went blank for a second. What was she just thinking about? She shook it away. "Do you have any idea where they might have them, a blueprint or something. Don't worry about the guards, I can deal with them. " She said alittle too cheerfully for her liking.

"Do you remember where you got the nanites? If they have a grafting station there, the nanite adapter should be in the same room. It would have to be that way, unless they pre-loaded them right before grafting them to you. I believe that it was propobly the first option, as you describe them in such a way that it seems you woke up before all the proper restrictions could be put in place. The adapter will look like a bunch of suction cups with wires, and the manual will be a book, likely a very big one. Both the nanites should recognize right away." Doc said as he began to pull a computer setup out of the closet closest to them.
" I did, wake up too soon." She said. "The guy, Sir, he said I woke up before they had time to program the nanites. They said something went wrong, because they'd put me in a medically induced coma, the nanites apparently combated the drugs they used against me to keep me unconscious." She said and sighed. "What are you gonna try to do?"

"Tell the nanites its nap time. If that doesn't work, let Toxic knock you out then tell the nanites to go into sleep mode." Doc said before adding in "Whoever grafted you must have been an amateur if they activated your nanites while you were under sadation."
There was pang in her mind again. " No, the nanties were already active..." She blinked. " I didn't know that..." She sighed. " They are gaining more control, Doc." She said, and was scared. " They weren't speaking this morning, nor the night before when I escaped. I don't like this." Her eyes pleading now. "Can you really do this?" She asked.

"Yes." Doc said, faking confidence. Someone gave them the freaking ability to evolve, or learn freely. An amateur mistake, but one that posed a very difficult problem to fix. If they chose to refuse his commands, there would be nothing he could do but EMP them. He would need to get a short range one up and working soon. "I just need the manual and the adapter." Doc said before quickly following up with "Nanites, what is your purpose?" Hopefully they would respond, it would give him an idea of just what intentions they were.
Lolly's eyes went wide for a moment, her pupils dailating. "Combat, Defense and Protection of the Host." Lolly said, in her own her voice, but times a thousand. "The Evolution of combat and defense." She said and blinked. " Gah, Don't do that, Talk to them directly. It makes me itch and I feel like a puppet." She barked in her own singular voice. She rubbing her eyes. "God..."

"I got all the information that I needed. I just had to see how far they had gotten. However, I would urdge haste. By the way, how many breaks do they have? How many seperate minds do they have?" Doc asked, only trying to validate his actions. Sometimes the only way to judge an AI was through direct communication.
Loly frowned, her head swimming. "I can't tell, but it seems like ther are two so far, one for combat and once for defense." She said and sighed. "The defense ones they seemed to like me, the combat ones...not so much." Lolly felt dizzy. " I need to sit down." She said holding her head with one hand and reached out for something to hold on to. "Whoa..."

The other doctor quickly shot forword with a chair as he saw Lolly begin to reach for her head. Doc stood there a few moments before saying "Once you are done resting, I suggest that you prioritize getting the adapter and the manual."
"Yea, sure, I'm find Doc, don't you worry about me..."She said darkly, holding her head, trying to stop the world fro spinning.

Lolly took a deep breath as she stood outside of the lab, the nanites in her blood knew this place, the nanites on her bones screamed for revenge. For once, her entire body was on the same page.
She walked up to the panel at the back of the lab. Naturally it was coded and naturally she could break it...well maybe not naturally. She held up her hands and closed her eyes. “Come on, Guys, We’re working together on this one, don’t freak out on me.”
{D O E S N O T C O M P U T E, D E F I N E ‘F R E A K O U T’}
Lolly sighed. “It means, don’t try to take over my body.”
{ W E. W I L L. M A I N T A I N. S I M B I L A N C E,}
Lolly just rolled her eyes. She figured that was a yes, as her hands touched the code panel and before her eyes an encryption key appeared, numbers and letters flashed one after the other until they stopped after a 16 digit code stood floating before her. She punched it in and the door opened with a satisfied click. She slipped inside and found herself in a basement of sorts.
{ S E C U R I T Y. A P P R O A C H I N G. E L I M I N A T I O N. S U G G E S T E D}
“I don’t think so, I’ve killed way too many people today, this guy is probably just doing his job.”
{S T E A L T H. P R O T O C O L. A C T I V A T E D}
Lolly’s skin itched as her color shifted. She blinked and it was over. Nothing looked different but she felt it.
“What did you do?”
{ C L O A K I N G. D O E S. U S E R. N E E D. D E F I N I T I ON?”}
Lolly huffed. “Of Course my Nanites would be a bunch of smart asses...” She said as she made her way through the basement, she avoided the security guard and made her way toward the door. She went to open it but it clicked.
Locked. Image
She cursed impressively as the security guard rounded the corner.
{W A R N I N G. D E T E C T E D. D E F E N S E. P R O T O C O L?”}
“No, no, Stop trying to kill people....” She said quickly and ran behind a pillar as the security guard made his way up and down the room, looking for whoever touched the door. She watched the flash light pass by and then soon she heard a electric locked and the door open. “Of course the entire place in electronically locked...because anything else would make my life simpler...” She said sarcastically as she made her way to the door again and opening the door as she had with the first one.
She then found herself in a large file room, much less electronic then everything else about this building.
{ S E A R C H Project Trickshot} The nanites said and Lolly shrugged, that wasn't what she was here for but she searched until she found a file. She pulled it out and found that at the top of the page was a logo and a name.
"Olympus?" She mused. It was then and alarm went off around the whole building.

{"W A R N I N G. D E T E C T I O N. E M M E N I N T. F I N D. E X I T."}

"What? Why, How?" She frowned as she gathered the files. A picture dropped out of the file and she picked it up and the face caused her pause. It was a rather handsome blonde guy.
"Guys? Whose the blonde?"
{ T R O Y. K A N E. C O D E N A M E: O R I O N. S T A T U S: E L I M I N A T E}
Lolly cocked her head. "He's dead?"
{ N E G A T I V E.}
"So they want this guy dead?"
{ A F F I R M A T I V E }
"Ah, So this guy is probably someone I want to meet. Alright Guys, Get us out of here."

Lolly then allow the nanites to lead her out of the building without any causalites.

She made her way back to Toxic.

"Hey, We need to find this guy. I know I was suppose to get some stuff to deal with the nanites but right now we are on good terms right now." She said and placed the file on the table. " That's me, not the guy, the file, I'm Project Trickshot."

Toxic sat in his office, his two replacement guards on either side, scrolling through reports on his work tablet. Most of what was being reported were current territory of dealers and missions that the small army had been carrying out. A few dealers who walked to close to the line, a couple of premeditated car crashes, and some elimination of other gangs' dealers who had tried to move into Toxic's territory. Some of the other reports included pretty financial charts that looked at revenue, profit, and costs, all of which were not extraordinary. After those were two requests: one was about purchasing new equipment for Doc, the other for a purposed equipment upgrade by a peon who tracked down a black market dealer with some military connections. Toxic approved Doc's request, but sent the peon a message telling them to get him more information.

Setting down the tablet, Toxic picked up the phone on the side of his desk. He held his finger above the buttons as he heard the distinct sound of the door opening. Putting the phone on its dock, he looked up at Lolly, locking his eyes with hers from beneath his mask. "Well, how did it go?" Toxic asked, his voice serious as she approached.

As soon as the file hit the table, Toxic looked straight at it. He took the picture of the man and lifted it up. "Who is it?" Asked Toxic as he looked back at the file, scouring for even the slightest mention of himself. It was obvious that the "Olympus" in this report had some connection, but what that connection is was uncertain.

"Who is it?" Toxic asked and Lolly shrugged. "Troy Kane, according to the nanties-" She sat herself on his desk, not really caring how he felt about it, and pointed at the top of the page. "These guys, Olympus, wants him dead." She said and looked up at him, she was in his face now but did she care?
Nope.
"He has or had, rather, a codename, Orion and right now his status is Eliminate, I First thought, he was dead but the nanites, seem to think they only want him dead." She said, sitting up right and then it struck her.
Image
"Oh shit. I'm Project TrickShot, and his picture was in my file, and since I can now kick serious ass, heal, and am basically a walking super computer, I think I was meant for him." She paused. " Whoa, not what I meant, anyway, I think I was meant to take him out. I mean, the first thing I did when I got free was killed a bunch of people. I'm a super solider. You were right, the nanties were broken, they just aren't programmed, I think, no, I'm almost certain, I was made to assassinate this guy." She paused thinking some more, crossing her arms. We chose you because you are a no name, a faceless dime a dozen stripper that no one will miss..." She frowned in disgust. "Oh ew, That son of a bitch. They chose me, I was specific...to get close to him...charm him....and take him out." Lolly's huffed. "We can use this, right? The enemy of my enemy and all that, it won't be long before they send some other girl-turned-bionic after him. If I can get to him first, maybe we can get him on our side, and I can get that SOB that took my life from me, and you down another competitor. You think you can find him?"

As Lolly sat upon his desk, Toxic leaned back in his chair. His feet planted into the bottom of the desk as the chair unleashed the squeak of leaning back. His eyes focused on her as the picture of the man remained in his hand.

"Unless he knows every camera in the city." Toxic said, holding the picture up and into his vision once again. Toxic then folded the picture in his hands and held it out, one of the guards walking over to take the picture. "Tell the boys in 12-27 to find him." He whispered to the guard, but it wasn't the kind that seemed like he was keeping secrets. When Toxic sat up in his chair, the guard he handed the picture to went to exit the building. "Now let's hope that our friend is on our side."

"Now let's hope that our friend is on our side."
Lolly shook her head. "Armed thugs, This guy doesn't look like that's gonna go over well,." She said nodding her thumb at the guard that exited. "They made me to get close to him, obviously, I'm his type." She said with a smirk, gesturing to her pretty face. It actually turned her stomach that she's have more use for her looks then the nanties. Hopefully this guy wasn't a creep. "He's more then likely not to shoot me on sight." She said." I mean, whose gonna say no to this face? You didn't." She grinned playfully. " Call off your goons, give me the location and I'll do the rest." She told him, leaning toward him, still seated on his desk.

"I never told them to approach." Toxic said as his mask hid a shit eating grin. "I only told them to track. They won't do anything until I give them the order to, so don't worry about having some time to use your... method." On the inside Toxic was laughing. First off, he would be willing to guess that Lolly didn't realize that he was sending it to his electronic tracking people. Then she was going to do exactly what the people who filled her bloodstream with nanites intended her to do, excepting the final outcome.

"I never told them to approach" Toxic said and there was something in his tone that made her uncomfortable. "I only told them to track. They won't do anything until I give them the order to, so don't worry about having to use your...method." He was mocking her. She felt it. There was something wrong. The nanites felt it too. She narrowed her eyes. "What are you up to, Toxic?" She asked him, his mask always bugged her, him hiding his face from her. She never trusted him and probably never will but until now, she didn't really care what his plans were, they didn't involve her, whether he thought they did or not. But now, he seemed more gunghoe as she expected he would be...in that way that just looked amused. He was up to something.

"Guys, Can you locate people?" She asked the nanties mentally.

Lolly narrowed her eyes at him. She shouldn't have asked him... Dammit all.

"That was too easy? You know something don't you?"

"Alright, Locate Troy Kane."

"You wanna let me in or am I gonna have to find out the hard way?" She said, a warning in her tone.

"Sorry, it is hard to keep a straight face and serious tone with such blunt irony staring me in the face." Toxic said, a distorted sound coming from the mask. "The mask doesn't help much either."

Taking a moment, Toxic straightened himself up and regained his composure. Looking Lolly in the eyes, he said "I've already told you why I am helping you. I don't like competition or people studying me. Simple underground business. Nothing else."

Before either party could continue, the phone on Toxic's desk rang. He picked it up, saying "Yes?" A voice came from the other side. "Sir, the man you marked has some visitors. They do not appear to be armed, but one of the men left the vehicle with a dufflebag in a suspicious manner." Toxic looked back at Lolly and said "Our mutual friend has some company. Do you want to deal with it, or should I?"

It didn't take long before the nanties lead Lolly toward where Troy was hold up. She watched the snipers for a moment before she decided she'd make first contact. She popped a piece of bubblegum in her mouth and casually walked into the building that the sniper had scouted. She simply walked up to him and tapped him on the shoulder. "Hey, Excuse me, Is there something on my boot?" She asked before sending her foot into his chin one solid time, enough to knock him unconscious. She looked through the window and narrowed her eyes. " Guys , can you send him a message at all? she asked.

{RECORDING MESSAGE NOW...}

In that moment, Troy would have received a message, through any screen, whether it be a computer screen, Television, or even a phone.

"Hey You might wanna look out the window." She said and when he looked, she'd be waving at him, with the gun in her hand and a bubblegum bubble popping.

"There's a Kawasaki Ninja, all black, behind the building, Meet me there. We've alot to talk about."

With that,she hopped off the building and made her way to the rendezvous point and waited, sitting on the bike.

Troy ducked down next to the bed, while he was sure it wouldn't protect him, it was worth a shot. He quickly grabbed his Archer costume, and threw it on. He put on his goggles, and turned on the thermals. He could see a sniper on a nearby roof, but then he was knocked out by someone. He stared at his rescuer, with a arrow prepared in his bow. Yeah he's had would-be saviors that would turn out to be Olympus agents before. This ain't his first rodeo. Then a message came on his TV. He did as instructed, and took a peak outside.

He glared at the girl waving at him. "Who the hell are you?" He muttered to himself. When he was told to meet her out back he was hesitant. Olympus found him, he needs to get the hell out of here. But he needs to know who she is. Whether she's another Olympus player, or someone else. "Ah screw it." He muttered as he cautiously exited his room. He quickly ran to the back of the building to see her. He stopped for a moment, and took a good look at her. She was beautiful. But he can't focus on that.

He shook his head, and raised his bow, aiming for her head. "Who are?! What do you want?! Tell me now or else I'll make a kabob out of you!" He demanded, his voice was deep, and somewhat intimidating. He doesn't take any chances with others, even if they were gorgeous, and possibly saved his life. "I'm not having a very good day incase you can't tell. So I'd choose my words carefully if I were you Sweetheart." His eyes narrowed in on her. He pulled a arrow back to the top right canine tooth. He was prepared to fire if he didn't like what he heard.

Lolly didn't even flinch when he pulled back the bow. "Who are you?! What do you want?! Tell me now or else I'll make a kabob out of you!"

{WARNING! ACTIVATE DEFENSE PROTOCOL?}

"No no, He's just freaking out, I got this."

"This is the part where I say 'Come with me if you wanna live'" She said with a grin, inwardly laughing at her Terminator reference, as she stood up.

"I'm not having a very good day in case you can't tell. So I'd choose my words carefully if I were you, Sweetheart?"

Lolly rolled her eyes.

"I've had my share of bad days too, Papi, but I'll give you the short version. I was created to kill you...I think, that's more of a theory actually," She paused. The nanties were just itching to fight him but she managed to keep a cool demenor. " anyway, the programming didn't work and now I want your help to find the people that turned me in to a Terminator freak." She said about as casually as talking about the weather. "You're not gonna trust me, and right now, that doesn't matter as much to me as it should but we have a mutual enemy, and as the saying goes. The Enemy of my Enemy...." She didn't finish. She walked right up to him, the arrow mere inches from her forehead, and held out her hand, a grin came to her full lips.

"Lola, Lola Cervantes...also known as Project TrickShot. You can call me Lolly."

Troy stared into Lolly's eyes as she talked. His paranoia was telling him to just kill her and get the hell out of here, but he can't do that. She might actually be able to help. "Starting a conversation with 'I was created to kill you' to a guy who's been running from a secret order of world-class assassins for over 3 years isn't a very reassuring thing." Troy smirked. "Fine, this isn't the time or place to discuss this. I won't kill you.....for now." He said as he pointed his bow down, and relaxed his arrow. "But if this is some sort of trap, I'm gonna skin you alive. Just so we're clear."

Meanwhile Deimos regained conscious. He groaned as he got back up. "What the hell?! Who was that doowally scadge?!" He moaned as he rubbed his head. "Dammit! I want two units to engage! Their in the back I think." Deimos ordered over his radio. "Acknowledged." A voice replied. Two SUVs soon drove at opposite ends towards Lolly, and Troy. Troy could see them racing towards them. "We need to go, now. Lead the way, I'll open up a path." Troy said as he switched out the regular arrow he had out for a round tipped arrow.

Troy quickly took aim at the one coming from the right. He quickly pulled back on his arrow, and fired the arrow. The arrow attached itself directly on the grill of the SUV. The arrow made a small noise, and then the vehicle suddenly stopped. "EMP arrow motherfuckers." Troy muttered to himself. He quickly readied another EMP, and took aim at the other vehicle. He fired the arrow, but it barely left his bow when the tip was suddenly shot off. "Shit!" Troy looked up and saw Deimos. Troy quickly fired arrows at him, but he just didn't have a good angle.

"Dammit!" Troy grabbed another round tipped arrow. He aimed high, and shot the arrow. It landed on the roof of the building next to Deimos. Tear gas suddenly poured out of the arrow. "Let's go!" Troy ordered. "Straight Shot, pick up." Troy said as he pressed a button on his goggles. A near by pile of garbage bags started to shake, and make noise as a black 2013 Honda CB1100 Motorcycle drove by itself towards him. "I hope you know how to ride that thing Lollypop." Troy smirked at Lolly as he looked at her motorcycle.

Troy hopped up on his motorcycle Straight Shot. He took out another round tipped arrow. He shot it right through the unworking SUV's windshield, and a loud bang followed by a flash went off inside the vehicle. "Flashbangs, million and one uses." Troy muttered to himself as he rode off past the SUV.

Starting a conversation with 'I was created to kill you' to a guy who's been running from a secret order of world-class assassins for over 3 years isn't a very reassuring thing." Troy smirked and Lolly shrugged. "Better to being with the truth then end with it." She said simply. "Fine, this isn't the time or place to discuss this. I won't kill you.....for now." He said moved his hand, Lolly knew he would. "But if this is some sort of trap, I'm gonna skin you alive. Just so we're clear." He said and she bounced her head from side to side. "Yea, yea yea," She said rolling her eyes.

It was then thw two blacked out SUV's rolled up on either side of them and Lolly groaned.

{EVADE PROTOCOL} the nanites offered and Lolly grinned.
"Hell yes!"

"We need to go, now. Lead the way, I'll open up a path."

"You got it!" She said and hopped on her bike. She rubber burned as she revved it, waiting for her opening. She watched as he fired and took out the SUV ahead of them as well as firing at the sniper atop the building. Damn, she should have kicked him harder.

She watched him call for something and then a motorcycle rolled up to him. Lolly arched an eyebrow.

"I hope you know how to ride that thing Lollypop."

Lolly set her jaw. He did NOT just call her that?

"You did NOT just call me that?" She spat as they sped down the street, she weaved in and out of traffic like a mad woman, cars beeped and honked and people cursed but she didn't care.

Did she know how to ride? She grew up around chrome and metal, she knew how to ride before she knew how to spell her name.

"Toward the docks." She told him and veered off in that direction.

It wasn't long before she arrived.

"Honey, I'm Home~!" she called as she entered the warehouse.

Troy followed closely behind Lolly as they raced towards the docks. 'The docks? Why the hell are we going to the docks?' He wondered. He was planning on heading to the docks tonight, he was going to disrupt the drug trade down there. It wasn't long before Deimos, and the other SUV caught up to them. Deimos was laying on top of one of them, aiming down the scope of his rifle. His eyes were still sore from the tear gas, but he wasn't going to let that stop him. Troy looked back through his rear view mirror. "Damn." He muttered to himself.

Troy slowed down Straight Shot, and dropped a round tipped arrow on the road. Watching from his mirror, he waited until the lead SUV was nearing the arrow. "Tick. Tick. Boom." He said as he pressed a button on his goggles. The arrow was another EMP, and went off just as the SUV went over it, stopping it in it's tracks. The SUV that Deimos was on soon pasted it. "Dumbasses! All of you are dumbasses and you should feel bad!" He shouted at them. Deimos took aim on Troy, and started taking shots at him. Troy was able to nearly weave out of the way due to Deimos' decreased aim.

"Dammit you eejits! Keep it steady!" Deimos shouted as he pounded his fist on the top of the SUV. "Straight Shot, Cruise." Troy ordered. He let go of the motorcycle's handle, and turned himself around, now facing towards Deimos. Troy quickly took out another round tipped arrow, and took aim at Deimos, as the sniper was doing the same. Troy shot first, and the arrow went straight into the sniper's scope. Deimos moved his head out of the way. "What the..?" He muttered as he looked at the arrow. He noticed a line of lights on it that was going out one by one.

"Oh shit!" Deimos took the rifle and threw it straight up into the air, and exploded. Troy readied a regular arrow, and fired at one of the SUV's tires. He quickly took out another, and shot the other front tire. The SUV started to skid, flipped over. Deimos leaped off the vehicle just in the nick of time. Troy turned back around, and switched Straight Shot back to it's normal mode, and sped up to catch up with Lolly. "Shit!" Deimos yelled in frustration. "Deimos to command. Target......lost. I repeat. Target lost. Apollo's not gonna be happy about this."

Troy caught up to her, and followed her on down to the docks. When they arrived he followed behind her when she entered a warehouse. "Alright Lollypop, now seems like the time, and this seems like the place. Who do you work for? And what do you want from me?"

"Alright Lollypop, now seems like the time, and this seems like the place. Who do you work for? And what do you want from me?"

Lolly huffed. "Okay, One, Call me Lollypop again, and you're gonna be more woman then I am." She said, although when he said it, it wasn't as annoying as it had been coming from the countless drunkards that frequently the Leather and Lace.

"Two, I don't work FOR anyone, but I am working with this guy..for now." She said and pointed to the masked man behind the desk. " This is Toxic, and that's not important right now, what's important is this." She said and walked up to the desk, grabbed her file and handed it to him.

"Your picture was in my file, I boosted it from one of Olympus' labs this morning." She said and tapped the edge. "Apparently, they think you've got a thing for Latinas." She said, adding a Spanish flare to the word. "They took me, grafted nanites to my bones, in my blood, all that fun stuff, turned me into a killing machine, Problem was, I woke up before they could program the nanties to their prime directive." She said. " Which was to get close enough to you, get you to trust me, and then kill you." She said and looked back at Toxic before back to Troy.

"The irony isn't lost on me and you probably trust me less then you did before, but really I don't care. I need to find the ones that did this to me, and you're the only one that can help me, as you have a personal stake in this, just as much as I do."

Entrance to Toxic Territory:
As Deimos radioed in to Olympus, a man in full military gear drew his gun to the back of Deimos's head and pulled the trigger. Immediately after the first shot, 6 other men would begin spraying the two vehicles with round after round after round, till each had dumped 4 magazines into the vehicles. They then moved to the vehicles and put a few extra rounds into any survivors.

Warehouse 13-26
As Lolly and the new man entered, Toxic stood up. He began to circle the two, studying the newcomer carefully, his two guards looking as if they were ready to pounce. "Well, friend, you're the only one here who hasn't revealed who you are." Toxic said while still circling the newcomer. He stopped in front of the newcomer and spoke, his masked voice deeper than his build would suggest, "Who are you?"

After getting his answer, Toxic walked back to his desk, plopping down into the chair. "Now would you mind enlightening me as to who exactly you dragged into my territory?"

Troy stared at the masked man with suspicion. He watched every move this Toxic made carefully, he was ready to act in a moments notice. But he made sure not to let on that he was ready for a fight. He glanced over at Toxic's men, they seemed ready for a fight as well. "I have much more than a personal stake in this." Troy cryptically stated. "I work alone, I'm not in the market for a sidekick." He replied to Lolly's offer at a partnership. "And as for who I am, that isn't any of your concern." He replied with a fierce stare at Toxic.

Troy took the file they had, and started reading it. "Thanks for the info though. I'll be going. I need to get out of town before more agents arrive." Troy placed the file in his jacket, and turned towards the exit. "Here's some advice for Lollypop, free of charge. Drop it. Get out while you still can. Trust me on this, that revenge your seeking, it'll only destroy you in end." Troy stated, obviously speaking from experience. Troy glared at the thugs as he started to walk out. "And I don't work with two-bit gangsters. You're not fooling me Toxic."

"Fine, then a deal is struck. Feel free to contact me when you need something. Anything at all." Damian smirked with a wink. And with that his business here was over, and he and his bodyguards returned to his limo. "Alright, Alastor take us on back to the tower." Damian ordered when they got into the limo. Alastor gave a nod, and they drove off. "Vy uvereny, chto eto mudroye resheniye , ser? YA somnevayus', chto ona mozhet byt' zavisit ot." Talos asked. "For god's sake! Stop speaking Russian! It's annoying. But this is a good move, for now. And don't ever question me again."

They soon returned to the Olympus building. Damian went back to his office, and slumped himself onto his office chair. He leaned back in his chair, and propped his feet up on the desk to relax. But this wouldn't last long, as he was interrupted by Hermes. "Sir! We have news on Deimos." Hermes stated. "Report." Damian ordered. "Deimos is.....dead. He reported that Troy got away, and then his life signs went offline. We sent a recovery team, and found him shot in the head....with a bullet." Hermes stated, with some sadness. Damian got out of his chair, and looked out his office window.

"Shit. Wait, a bullet? That's not Troy's MO. Do we have any surveillance of the area at the time?" Damian asked as he turned to Hermes. "Yes sir. We have images of a woman helping Troy escape. And here is one of Deimos' killer." Hermes said as handed him several photos. Damian looked them over, and a slight grin crept across his face. "Well I'll be. It's a small world after all. This woman is the escapee from Project TrickShot. But who's this armored bastard?" Damian asked as he tossed Lolly's photos aside.

"From our intelligence, this is a local drug lord, Toxic." Hermes replied. "Toxic? Oh that's cute." Damian smirked. "But a drug dealer? Troy's too much of a bleeding heart to work with some drug dealer. Something else is going on." Damian stated. "Sir? What are your orders?" Hermes asked. "I have a few ideas." Damian said as he left his office. Hermes quickly followed behind. "What are you going to do?" Hermes asked as he entered the elevator. "I'm going to rain hell down on this asshole. I want every shred of information you have on Toxic." Damian stated as he pressed a button on the elevator.

The elevator stopped on at the basement of the building, where the R&D was done. "Daedalus?! Where are you?!" Damian called out. A large black man soon came towards Damian, his hair was frizzy and uncombed, and he was constantly dropping papers from different folders he was carrying. This was Daedalus, one of the lead researchers of Olympus. "Y-yes sir? What can I do for you?" Daedalus asked. "Ah, there's my favorite researcher! I have a special project for you. I want you to develop a defense to telepaths. Some way to protect ourselves from mental influence." Damian ordered.

"Telepaths? Umm....right. I might be able to come up with something. Perhaps a sonic device. Hmmm....I will need to figure out the exact frequency a telepath reads a person's brain waves. Assuming that telepathy works that way. I could run some experiments......if I had some live subjects with telepathic abilities I could crack open their..." Daedalus started to ponder. "Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't care how you do it, but just keep it in house." Damian interrupted him. "Now, how's project Tartarus coming along?" Damian asked as he walked through the research labs.

"Yes, we've done experiments on the subject...it's nothing like we've every seen!" Daedalus responded as they came across a large, metal sphere. "Open it. I want to see it." Damian ordered. Daedalus pressed a few buttons on a nearby panel. The sphere split in half, and started to open up. Inside was a large navy blue substance suspended in the air in a sphere by several bolts of electricity. A sinister grin swept across his face as he looked it over. Then a face similar to Damian's stretched out from the blob. "Hello little buddy."

I have much more than a personal stake in this."Troy said and Lolly huffed. "I work alone, I'm not in the market for a sidekick." He replied and she folded her arms. And as for who I am, that isn't any of your concern." He said and she set her jaw, her foot tapping impatiently.

"Thanks for the info though. I'll be going. I need to get out of town before more agents arrive." He said and slipped the file in his coat. "Whoa, no no, That's mine." She said following after him. He stopped to look at her. "Here's some advice for Lollypop, free of charge. Drop it. Get out while you still can. Trust me on this, that revenge your seeking, it'll only destroy you in end."

Lolly was stunned. Get out while she could? She felt her entire body twitch.

"You don't understand, I don't have anything, at least once I get rid of this jerk offs, I don't have to look over my shoulder anymore." She said, and her voice cracked a bit. "Destroy me? Look at me, I'm already damaged..." She said and while she looked fine actually, that wasn't the point. "These nanties aren't going anywhere, my dad isn't coming back from the dead.My life before this, is over I don't have anything else but this." She said and grabbed his arm, without even thinking, she reached inside his coat for the file. She walked away from him and Toxic but stopped and turned around slowly

Image
"If you aren't going to help me then don't stand in my way. I was built to kill you remember, I'm sure I could figure it out without the nanties being programmed." She said, and for some reason she was hurt by his dismissal, she truly thought he'd be her best shot, instead, like before she'd be groping in the dark with Toxic...Terrific...

Toxic stood up from his seat, sending his chair into the wall with a loud crack. "I don't give a flying shit what you think about me, but who the hell did you drag into my territory!? Two SUVs. You shot an arrow through the sniper's scope. Who are they!?" Toxic said, obviously far from happy about not being told who they were.

Meanwhile, in warehouse 12-27 stacks of cubicles held hands that typed feverishly away on old keyboards. One stack in particular was firing away quite a bit faster than anyone else, shouting over the clicks of their keyboards. Their screens flickered with images and documents as several programs searched for any matches in nearly every database that could be accessed, and even some that they shouldn't have been able to. The last image of Deimos shooting across their screens at a rather constant pace.
