There's something positively intrusive and yet devastatingly captivating about sneaking a peek into your favorite celebrity or socialite's private lives. I mean, they're afforded a luxury that the flashing lights of the paparazzi and red carpet photographers can only catch the faintest glimpses of. Who even knows what actually goes on behind closed doors - do they even live their lives as luxuriously as their pictures have you believing? Are they all truly happy with one another? Do they even like the spotlight on them? Various questions have yet to be truly and honestly answered, which is why reality television has become such a sought-after guilty pleasure. And who better to catch such an exclusive, dramatic spin on the daily lives of some of the most elite young adults in America than E!?

It wasn't any of their ideas or, if it were, they would probably no better than to tell their counterparts that they played any part in the construction of Beyond the Lights. You might question then, if none of them really wanted to do it, why was it even idealized in the first place? Well, for one, who wouldn't want a peek into the lives of America's richest and most prominent young adults? Especially since they are all from twelve of the most powerful families in the country. More so, who wouldn't want to know what made one of the girls claim to the paparazzi that "[insert name here] is nothing but a stuck-up slut," on national television? Or even when one of the guys literally tackled another into the pool at an exclusive after-party last year?

These kids have known each other practically their entire lives. For some, they have been fighting for just as long. Others have probably been in love for the exact amount of time. So, what happen when the cameras aren't technically off, but are following them as they all experience a summer forced together and forced to confront the demons that reside between them? Will they end up killing each other? Will secrets come to light? And, despite everything, can they make this one of the most unforgettable summers in television history? Tune in at your scheduled hour listings to find out!!

The Bellucci's belong to one of the oldest and most prosperous wine families in all of Italy, and - sadly - for how extremely competitive all of their children have been. Second to the Rockefellers, you are always hearing something about the Bellucci family, whether it means that the eldest daughter is dating another star athlete, the son was spotted with so-and-so and the youngest child just being absolutely fabulous. Either way you spin it, it is to no one's surprise that they were the least bit hesitant in being followed by the cameras. You hear something about them any other day, why it bother them to have cameras following them when they already know they would without contracts?

There is no way you can go two minutes without knowing who the King's are. Competing with the likes of Jay Z, their father is the CEO of two entertainment companies, Empire which now has a show loosely based after it and Mafioso. It might help even more that one of their children happens to be a singer in one of the top girl groups the company has. Who knows? What's important to note is that second to the Rockefeller's, their two children are extremely protective of one another, despite inner family disputes. They had mixed emotions about joining the show, mostly because of what they did and didn't want to be aired publicly.

You can't even get through a history book without getting a snippet of the Rockefeller family. After all, they are one of the most famous and powerful families in American history. They practically helped make this country what it is today. Hell, if we wanted to be completely honest, they kinda are royalty....or something like it considering how untouchable they are, no matter what they do. And they've done a lot in the last few years, much to their parents' chagrin. So, if you don't know who the youngest faces in their family are, then you seriously must either live under a rock or really need to catch up on at least your social media. They were the most hesitant to join the show and literally were forced by their parents, and are the only other family to reside in New York.

If there was a way for Olivia to avoid the stupid cameras and the overall idea of being filmed for an entire summer, she would have done it. She had been close, earlier in the morning, to simply slipping out of New York on a last minute flight to Florida. Aaliyah wanted to spend time with her family, anyway. It would have made sense if one of the girls went with her. It wouldn't have been sooooo much of a big deal if one of the girls going with Aaliyah happened to be Liv. However, she had signed a contract last night, Elliot would not let her walk out of it, and the cameramen were already filing in the middle of her photo shoot for Teen Vogue. Rolling her eyes, Olivia had had to suck it up, tossed her brother a small glare, and then concentrated on getting through the rest of the photo shoot. She didn't have time to focus on how much she hated her parents at the moment. The cameraman for the shoot was rearranging the girls and she had to make herself very comfortable on the floor with Deanna.

Once the photo shoot was over, Liv had to hurry up and get dressed. She honestly didn't even care what she had on, even though - to be quite honest - not caring about what she wore didn't mean her outfit wasn't going to be Instagram-worthy. Luckily for her, despite its location, New York City summers were almost as sweltering as Atlanta's and her shorts were very much welcome in the nearly oppressive air that surrounded them the second the siblings managed to get past fans and the paparazzi. Everyone else would be heading over to the Rockefeller family's penthouse in Manhattan for a brunch with their parents. It would give the director time to film all of them moving in temporarily to the spacious apartment, let them do something normal like having a five-star gourmet breakfast, and then discuss the plans for the evening. Such as the dinner party in lieu of a prominent New York socialite's engagement to a European dignitary. All trivial matters that Liv would have rather heard about from her large bedroom in California where she could sip on her peach sangria and munch on popcorn. Or be anywhere...that wasn't here.

"Will you stop pouting for five seconds, sis?" Elliot exclaimed, exasperated yet still teasing, after five minutes of them being alone in their town car. Olivia paused in scrolling through her instagram feed to glare at her brother. "Ok, screw you. Not exactly excited to be in front of a camera for the entirety of my summer, for your information." Elliot raised an eyebrow, eyed his sister's attire for a moment, before replying, "Really? I couldn't tell." If either sibling could kill each other, they would probably do it and save each other the misery of having to deal with being bombarded by cameras the second they exited the vehicle. It wasn't like Elliot himself was particularly excited about participating in the show. At the same time, who was it going to really hurt? Everyone practically knew all of their secrets, last he checked. And it wasn't like any of them weren't good at keeping secrets if they were serious enough that they would need to stay away from the probing eyes of the cameras. All they had to do was continue like none of it was real; like all of them were simply in a house together because their parents were insensitive assholes.

"I'm not about to argue with you. I'm dressed like any other person who dresses like my age in the summer. Don't even start with me, Javie," Liv stated sharply. Her brother always liked to act like she didn't know how to dress appropriately, especially now that she was older and actually could just ignore him. While Elliot himself was dressed like he was headed to a tea party in the middle Buckingham Palace's gardens, Liv was dressed like she was about to go hang out with friends. His look wasn't her own and she was not about to spend her summer being lectured every time she walked out of her closet. "I'm not starting anything, Liv. Just...don't let this get to you, ok? One summer. We don't even know if this will even get picked up for a second season. It's just remedial." He explained after a sigh and Liv didn't respond; she was focused on texting her faves. They were getting closer and closer to the Rockefeller's home anyway. Elliot pulled out his phone and did the same.

It probably wasn't good that filming for the show had started only a few hours ago, and yet Jack was already fatigued by it all. It was no secret that the Rockefeller's were the most resistant towards doing the show. They were a very business-oriented family, so unlike the other two families who had children in the entertainment industry, bad publicity didn't help them in any way. Granted, Charlie, Kate and Jack couldn't necessarily say that they were as un-involved in all of that as they wanted to say. Kate was rampant on the social scene, and all three of them were involved in social circles including some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry. Including the Belluccis and the Kings... even if they didn't consider the Belluccis to actually be their friends right now. Or at least, Jack thought that they weren't supposed to think of them as friends right now. He really wasn't sure what he was supposed to think. According to Charlie's words, Luciana and Serena weren't to be trusted, just as much as Mike wasn't. Jack knew that he shouldn't have been surprised by the unreasonable logic behind it, considering how much his brother was like his father, and how much his father prided himself in being loyal to his family. However, it didn't make sense to him. He was just supposed to end his friendship with Lucy and Serena, just because Michael cheated on Kate? He hated Mike just as much as Charlie did for what he did to their sister, but Lucy and Serena did absolutely nothing wrong. Nothing. It proved to be a big conflict for Jack now more than ever. He was able to get away with still maintaining that normal friendship for the past month as long as his siblings weren't around, but now this show was going to force him to be with them at the same time as his siblings.

"Thank God that you finally decided to shave. That scruffy look just makes you look homeless, Jack. Definitely not a good look for you." He rolled his eyes as his sister hurried past him as they walked down the staircase. "But was it really necessary for you to wear denim too? I mean, I don't want us being twins to be my storyline." Jack hadn't noticed that the denim in his outfit coordinated with the outfit his sister was wearing. "So take off your jacket then. It's not the middle of November," Jack suggested, with his tone being consistently innocent, though his eyes twinkling with the knowledge of how easy it was to tick off his sister. "Ever hear of air conditioning? It might as well be January with how could this house is." Jack couldn't resist smirking now. Even when Kate knew he was just trying to piss her off, she had to make a come back. She always had to have the last word, even when her being so expressive and reactive just proved that she was losing. "Besides, someone needs to dress well to combat Olivia. If we're going to be forced into this show, I don't want it to be tagged as being pornographic after just one episode." Kate had reached the bottom of the staircase and stood to face him as he slowly followed her to the bottom. His smirk faded slightly as she made a jab about Olivia, but it wasn't out of the ordinary where it caused a rise out of him. Everyone in their circle knew that the girls didn't get along, and it reminded him of his own dilemma. If Serena had managed to deal with the difficulties of appeasing both Kate and Liv in their friendship, than he would have to find a way to deal with his issues as well. "Be nice, Kate. See if you can be the sweet, perfect twin that everyone thinks you are. At least today. At least while they're filming." He expected Kate to be that way anyway, but he wanted to reinforce it.

One of the most notable things about his family was that they did value their image. This show was going to be an interesting test against that, be Jack guessed that at least in the beginning, his siblings would be able to keep the crazy on the down low. Besides, it wasn't like Kate and Olivia had ever had any real fights before. They mostly just ignored each other or talked poorly about each other behind the other's back. Again, though, now with the show, they were going to be forced to interact with each other, and Jack didn't know how well that would pan out.

"Oh, shut up. Out of everyone I'm supposed to spend my summer with, she's the least of my worries," she acknowledged as they headed through the first floor of the Rockefeller townhouse. Unlike many wealthy New Yorkers, the Rockefellers didn't opt for just a penthouse apartment. They had one of those downtown, but on 5th Avenue, their main residence was a six story town house. It was fitted with ten bedrooms, sixteen bathrooms, a finished basement with a wine cellar, a gym, greenhouse, two kitchens (with one being used for catering), among other luxury features. Really, it had more of a house feel than an apartment, and it was one of the main lures for the Rockefellers to purchase the place to act as their main residence. Of course, main residence meant little for a family that was constantly on the move, and that was spoken to this summer, with Mr. and Mrs. Rockefeller planning on spending their summer in between houses in Beverly Hills, Miami, Monte Carlo, Nice, London and the Hamptons.

Today would be the last day that Jack and Kate would spend with their parents for at least a few weeks, but it was nothing heart wrenching. They were used to everyone being all over the place, and because of the cameras being present, had already said their real goodbyes that morning. Jack had not responded to Kate's reference to her being more concerned with the others, presumably Michael and the Belluccis, with a quip, because he knew it would have been inappropriate. It went back to how Charlie had insisted that the disrespectful act towards Kate was really an act of disrespect towards all of them, and it wasn't a laughing matter. Brunch was being served in the fifth floor's dining room, where the impeccable view was hoped to set the mood for the day.

"Kate, we actually want you upstairs when everyone arrives. Charlie's up there too, and we might get a quick take on you two talking, or an interview. Jack, you can wait down here." One of the producers for the show was making a brief appearance. Apparently, there show was supposed to be pretty true to reality, but to start off the series, they wanted at least some involvement in the actives. Jack nodded, not really caring about where he was placed. He preferred not having to deal with Charlie and Kate right now anyway, and he was sure that his parents were upstairs somewhere as well. As Kate hurried upstairs, Jack was granted a few moments of silence, and during so, he was able to text back Liv.

To: Liv, Serena
Unfortunately so. Hurry up and get here. Bored out of my mind.

Serena was definitely more of a California girl than a New York girl. She had been to New York many times, and like most people in her world, her parents did own a place in New York, but it was nothing compared to what the Rockefeller's had. Her family's was a four bedroom apartment in a very nice building overlooking Washington Square Park. It cost them a few solid millions, but it wasn't the epitome of the most elite of the elite. They had that in California, where their Newport Beach estate spanned a few acres of beachfront territory, and in Italy, where their home was one of the largest and nicest in the country. Linking in with her just not being used to living in New York for more than a week at a time, Serena just preferred the more relaxed lifestyle she was able to live in California, over the fast paced one of New York. On one hand, it was a lot easier to blend in with normal people in New York. She was frequently bothered by paparazzi in both cities, but she could also get away with going a couple of days in New York without her photo being snapped if she really tried to stay off of the radar. All of the places she spent time in California, from restaurants to boutiques, were accounted for by the photographers, so it was hard to go out without being followed. This summer, she wouldn't even be graced with the anonymity that New York sometimes offered her, because she had signed onto a contract agreeing to allow cameras to follow her. And with those cameras, and the frenzy that their E! logo would bring, would lead to the real paparazzi haunting her too.

To: Liv, Jack
lucy and i are on our way!! mike is on his way too, but he's coming straight from lga

Serena and Luciana had flown in from California the day before. They spent the day shopping and then saw "The Lion King" on Broadway for what must have been at least the tenth time. It was one of Serena's favorites, and felt new to her every time she saw it. She had such respect for the actors and actresses in the show. It was one thing to do what she did, and act on screen, but to do it live was such a different story. Plus, they could not only act, but sing and dance too, and Serena would readily admit that she wasn't much of a "triple threat".

While Serena was nervous for this new chapter of her life, she didn't resent it as much as the others. She didn't think of herself as the type of person to be drawn to drama, so she wasn't worried about being a part of any televised scandals. Maybe she was thinking too innocently, but she was just excited to be able to spend a summer with her family and best friends. The contracts just ensured that none of them could run away if things started getting bad, and Serena really believed that they would actually force everyone to work out their problems. They would come out of this summer stronger than they went in, she hoped. "You can just let us off on the corner of the next block," Serena said, reaching through the partition of the Escalade to tap the driver on the shoulder. He gave her a disgruntled nod, which had her frowning, but she turned to Luciana mid-thought."Are you excited? I hope things aren't still awkward between Mike and Katy."

While all eight of the new starts of "Beyond the Lights" had signed their contracts, it seemed like none, or very few of them, were actually excited to be starting in the hyped up series. Michael wasn't really either, but he thought that he was the only one who actually had a good reason to resent the idea of being on the show right now. He knew that he was going to be forced to face how unfaithful he had been to Kate, and doing so while not being broadcasted on national television had clearly already been difficult enough for him. The idea of the reality show itself wasn't so bad, and he probably would have actually looked forward to it if Kate hadn't been a part of it as well. He knew that there was no way to spin what he had done as being right. There was no justification, no other "love at first sight" girl who had been a part of the affair, who he was still in love with to this day. It was just him being stupid and impulsive, and losing a girl who had truly loved him. He knew he was going to be made to look like an asshole, and he thought that he deserved that reaction from Kate, but not from the whole world. That was a kind of backlash that no one wanted to deal with.

He tried to reach out to Kate before the show started, and on multiple occasions, actually. The last time that she had actually spoken to him was the day after she initially found out about the cheating, and it was a screaming fit that followed the one from the night before, where she told him he had three hours to get all of his stuff out of her driveway. Even after that, though, he continued to try to call and text her, but after two weeks of being sent to her voicemail, it was clear that she wasn't going to budge. He knew that to a girl like Kate, who prized her dignity and image so much, cheating on her was the ultimate betrayal, and being completely cut off was expected. He thought she could have at least been mature enough to forgive him for the purpose of the show. Maybe it spoke to his selfishness, but he felt like it was unfair for her to continue to be mad at him to a point where it was going to affect his image on the show.

The fact that she wasn't going to budge had Mike staying away from New York for as long as possible. He had only flown into New York from California an hour ago, and between getting all of his luggage into a car headed for the Rockefeller penthouse and then getting one for himself, he knew that he was barely going to make it there by the time he was supposed to. He was never a fan of bunch, because it usually meant either missing breakfast or lunch in favor for the other, and he just wasn't that kind of guy. Why anyone would purposely skip out on the chance to eat baffled him, so even after eating his own breakfast, and then lunch at the airport, he had half the mind just to not show up at the Rockefeller's house. It wasn't like he was welcome there, and he knew he wouldn't be missing anything positive, anyway.

Luciana had sensed that Michael was resistant to the idea of the show the day before. At first, he had totally been on board with it. At the time that the show was pitched to everyone, he and Kate were still and healthy couple, and her brother had really seemed on board with the idea. He was the time of guy who lived off of attention, and she associated his success as a model with that ego, so it made sense that he would love some extra, paid camera time. She thought that even with his scandal with Kate, Michael would get over it and still be into the idea of being on television, but just to make sure, as she and Serena were on their way over, she decided to call Michael.

"Yeah, I'm excited," Lucy responded after Serena told the driver to let them off. She smiled at her sister genuinely. Serena was so full of life and energy. Luciana definitely wasn't dull, but she sometimes admired how confident and alive her sister always seemed. "I hope it's not either. Have you spoken to Kate lately? She hasn't answered any of my messages, and I know Mike said she wants nothing to do with him. Hold on, let me call him before we go up. I want to make sure that he's on his way." She paused a few feet away from the Rockefeller's building and called her brother.

"What's up?" Michael answered, picking up his phone on the first ring. He knew it was Luciana and that she was probably wondering where he was, so he was tempted not to answer it, but the buzzing in his pocket was bothering him, so he answered on the last ring. Besides, he was only a block away, so he didn't want her getting worried, like he knew she would, if he didn't answer. "Hey, Mike. How was the flight?" It would have been easier for Luciana to just demand to know where Mike was, but she wasn't that type of cold or demanding person. She didn't get worked up easily, and tended to be more concerned with her family and friend's well being over anything else. "It was alright. Did you need to ask me something, or what? I'm pulling up now, so -- oh, I see you. I'm hanging up." Just because of how genuinely nice Lucy tended to be, Mike usually felt bad if he was being short or uptight in his responses towards her, but he was feeling abnormally nervous right now. "He's here," Lucy smiled as her brother hung up, and she picked out a car pulling up at the curb. "Elliott texted me too, so let me answer him and then when Mike gets over here we'll go in," she thought out loud as she typed a response out to Elliott.

Charlie Rockefeller thought that he was the only sensible person on the planet at this point. He had weighed all of the pros and cons of doing this show multiple times, and it just didn't add up. They were all going to be making good salaries, and that was a known fact, since there was no way that Charlie would have been forced to sign the contract otherwise, but regardless, it wasn't a good investment. They'd have to be making a million dollars per person, per episode that came out of the filming, for reality television to be a good idea. He supposed that maybe for the Bellucis and Kings, it could be a good idea. The Kings had made their living off of the entertainment industry, so they were an example of how press, good or bad, could boost the relevancy of a name, and in turn, boost sales. That principle didn't apply to any of the Rockefeller businesses, including the one that he and Jack were now involved in, the investment and wealth management company, Rockefeller & Co. His clients didn't want to know that he could down a bottle of whiskey in a night or that when he drank too much, he mirrored his father's tendency of getting violent. It just wasn't good for business, and for Charlie, that was the most important. His parents insisted that it wasn't a priority right now, and that he needed to relax. They thought that him being involved in the show would be a good thing, because it would give him a reason to take a break from work. "We want grandchildren soon!" they would remind him every time he objected to the show, and finally, he obliged. He didn't think that he neglected his social life that much, but he supposed that maybe it wouldn't be horrible to cut down his hours at work for a few months. The idea of doing the show still didn't seem necessary, since he was sure that could relax without a contract, but everyone else knew that wasn't true.

So, here he was. Trying to make the best of being home before ten at night, when he usually left the office, on a Thursday. Much to his mother's dismay, he had already started picking at the brunch dishes whenever the chef turned her back, so that was at least allowing him to relax a bit. It must have been fate stepping in when the toasted coconut waffles that he planned on coating in vanilla rum butter came out of the waffle irons right as one of the producers for the show came into the catering kitchen announcing that the Bellucci's were arriving now. That mouthwatering smell was probably the only thing that kept him from leaving then and there. Michael Bellucci, that piece of trash, was the last person that Charlie ever wanted to be associated with again in his life. He had done his sister wrong, and cheating on her had crossed every line in the book. Charlie didn't know who Mike thought he was, or more so, what family he thought he was disrespecting, but he planned on teaching the chump that his family wasn't one to be messed with. He would have to wait until the cameras were turned off for that to happen, though. And until after he had devoured those pancakes, that his hand was slapped away from as soon as his mother walked by and caught him grabbing for one. "Kate's waiting for you. They want you and her inside, so head in there, Charles," his mother insisted, shooing him away as if he were a member of the house staff.

To: Elliot, Luciana
The hell has begun :/. Hope you all are more prepared than I am.

He paused, sending out a text to Elliot, before doing as requested, and headed into one of the living rooms where he found Kate. They were asking her some basic questions that they would possibly use in singular interview segments. While one camera was fixed on her, the producer motioned Charlie into a guest room off of that hallway, where a camera and lights were set up. He sat down, hiding his reluctance well under a confident smile. "So, you know, every so often, we'll sit you all down separately and just ask a few questions about whatever's been going on. It'll give our viewers the opportunity to get your opinion on whatever's going on. You know, see what's happening in your head, get your side of the story, and so on," a man who Charlie knew as Ryan, but couldn't for the life of him remember his role in this production, said. "So, just look at the camera and answer in full sentences, since they'll cut out my part where I'm asking you the questions..." Ryan directed, before mouthing and using his finger to count down "three, two, one". "Alright, so, how are you feeling about this summer? What are your thoughts on how it's going to pan out?" he asked. "I think this summer will be... one to remember. People think that they know a lot about all of us, but a lot of what is written about us is a blatant lie or fabricated to a point where it might as well be a lie. It should be interesting to see how people react to getting to know the real us." Or, the real Michael. They'll see how he's trash, and maybe then girls will realize that they should stop drooling over his appearance and attitude because if they achieved their dreams of dating him, he'd cheat on them within hours. Probably pass along an STD or two, too.

By the time the Kings arrived in front of the entrance of the Rockefeller home, Liv was antsy with a grumbling tummy awaiting food she knew was going to be good and Elliot just wanted to get the day over with. It was difficult for him, at least, having to miss out on some days at work, particularly as it pertained to bands and the like. Elliot was heavily involved in the first works of the artists of his father's Mafioso label; he oversaw albums being dropped, signings, the first few concerts, and a lot of the first few tears artists shed on tours. He was good at making them comfortable, making them ready to do their job, but also take care of the image they originally put out. And sure, Phil could handle the position while he was gone; Elliot was very sure about that. But was he happy about that? Was the guy who was typically in control at all times pleased by leaving everything he was proud of in the hands of some one person who happened to also be qualified for the position Elliot had to work to acquire? Hell no!

To: Rini, Jack Jack
Pulling up now

"Do you think everything will be okay? You know, with Mike and the others?" Liv, once her text to her friends was sent, asked as their Maybach slowed to a stop. Elliot paused in smoothing out his shirt, sighing. Elliot had told Olivia from day one that he didn't trust Mike. Thought he was the slimiest of the group, how he still couldn't possibly believe the guy was even remotely related to Serena and Luciana. Serena could be bad and her with Olivia was just trouble for him and Lucy sometimes. But Mike...Mike was a completely different ball game. Kate wasn't the nicest person in the entire world, but she had never earned what she got from that asshole. Elliot could only imagine how much it truly still pisses Charlie off to have to be in the house with the same guy who broke his sister's heart. Elliot couldn't do it - he probably would have killed Mike the second Liv came home in tears. "Look, he's a douche and like I said before, you need to stay away from him. We all do." Olivia rolled her eyes, running fingers through silver-and-gold streaked hair before forcing on a smile when their driver opened the door for her before letting Elliot out. "I'm...I get it, ok? I'm not saying I...condone what he did...I just..." She just didn't know how much of this was going to affect the way their summer went. The Belluci's and the Rockefellers had been friends for years. A rift between them was something serious. And...despite how much she despised what he did to Kate and how much Liv understood that Mike fucked up, he was still technically one of her friends.

"Awww, don't get all sentimental, Bubbles," Elliot exclaimed with an arm over her shoulder. It was enough to distract Olivia from the cameras flashing. "Remember, you're still allowed to have fun. Just...don't go overboard." Olivia pretended to make a face. "Whaaaat? Meeee? When have I ever...?" She wouldn't have trailed off if she hadn't just so happened to see Mike exiting a car and despite the conversation they were just having, Olivia couldn't fight the smile away. "Is that Mike Belluci over there!? Where's Rina and Luce?" She called and Elliot exhaled, heavily, and pulled out his phone.

Luciana spotted Michael around the same time as Olivia and Elliot got out of their car, and likely saw Michael as well. He had spun around at the sound of his name, and smirked upon seeing who had called it out. It was Olivia, and less importantly, her brother Elliot stood next to her. Michael and Elliot had never had any real altercations. Their personalities just didn't mesh together well, and both knew it, so they never tried to force anything there. Michael was a fun and and energetic guy, and Elliot was a boring stick in the mud. There wasn't much that could be helped there, and Mike had given up caring about King years ago. "Liv! Don't you look... like you're ready for some fun," he smirked, vocalizing the borderline provocative comment after a hug, as he took a step back to look her up and down. He looked towards Elliot and gave him a nod. It wasn't like he wasn't going to be civil towards Elliot, because compared to the other guys in the house, his beef with Elliot was really non-existent. Even just thinking about that had knots forming in his stomach, but he tried to push the thought away. "The girls are right over there," he added, remembering his sisters and glancing towards the pair that were standing in the doorway of the building.

Lucy waited for the group of three to get closer to her and Serena to wave them over. "Hi guys!" she squealed when they did reach them. She first directed her attention towards the Kings, both of which, she pulled in for a tight squeeze. Her face lit up as she stepped back to take the brother-sister pair in. Although she and Elliot were closer in age and probably hung out more, she wouldn't say that she was closer with one King over the other. Luciana tended to be sentimental with all of her relationships, and was the type of person who couldn't rank one over another. The relationship that she had with the two of them were just different, that was all. With Elliot, he was like a best friend to her. They could really just hang out and have fun. While they both could handle the party scene when necessary, the two also seemed very comfortable just doing things on the down low, where there weren't a million and one cameras there to track what they were doing. He seemed to understand that older sibling complex that she had, too. Olivia was similar to Serena, so in a way, Luciana felt like an older to sister to her as well. She and Serena were best friends, so it wasn't uncommon for them to be wrapped up in the same problems or reeling over the same drama, and Luciana liked to be there for both of them. She sometimes worried for both girls, but she knew that the two of them had good heads on their shoulders. Her worrying was like that of a mother, and she knew that even if both girls were wrapped in bubble wrap, in some town in the middle of no where with nothing to get them into trouble, she would still worry about what they were doing. "You both look amazing," she grinned, taking in Elliot's always-stylish image, and Olivia's effortlessly cool look. "But let's head in. We all know not to keep the Rockefellers waiting by this point," she added with a playful smile. She considered that it was just herself being too paranoid, but she felt like the tension Mike brought over with him was suffocating. It likely did have something to do with herself, and how she would worry about her brother's problems just as much as he, but still. This couldn't be good.

Re: Beyond the Lights

Have fun, Lauren!!!!

Super short 3 AM post up by yours truly ;D

Re: Beyond the Lights

Hey :)! I'm going to be in Disney until Wednesday, so if I don't post until then, please feel free to push Serena and Charlie along! I'm going to try to post while there, but don't want to promise anything since I'm not bringing my computer.

Re: Beyond the Lights

UGH, Lauren and I were going to collab for Luciana and Serena, so I was going to add Lucy's part, and of course hit submit before I got to edit in Luciana's responses >_<. OMW out right now, so Lauren, if you want to just post what you wrote for Serena, I can just make my own post for Lucy later tonight or tomorrow.

Re: Beyond the Lights

First post has been made.

Re: Beyond the Lights

Everything is finished for Kate aside from the family relationships. I'm waiting to hear back from Lauren before I start that.

Same goes for Jack!

Re: Beyond the Lights

Yeah, I don't have any objections to it either, so long as they're committed :).

Re: Beyond the Lights

I don't know if I've ever written with her before, but if she's going to stick around, I'm not against it.

EDIT: Lucy is done btw.

Re: Beyond the Lights

Okie dokie, love.

I think my heart is settled on Normani Kordei a bit more than I thought before, so that face claim change is happening. Just as a warning.

Also, there's a person, By Starlight, that wants to join. Are any of you ok with that?

Re: Beyond the Lights

Luciana is almost finished (just have the style section, and the description of her relationship with her parents left). I'll try to finish her tomorrow, and should be able to get started on Michael by then too.
