Lucifer sat up against a wall at the back of the school. Sometimes he'd skip lessons and hide out there, no one ever found him. Since he was over five centuries old, he didn't really have to worry about school or getting a great future. The bell rang right next to his ear and he flinched, "Damned bell, I ought'a rip it off.." he muttered, lifting himself up into a stand. He gripped onto his bag and slung the strap over his head so that it rested on the opposite shoulder. Lucifer tucked both hands in his pocket and walked to his next lesson, art.
He'd been more into art than any other subject in the school, mainly because he was an artist himself, although he focussed mainly on cartoons like chibi or manga. Lucifer walked through the busy halls, shoving people out of the way as he walked. He wasn't a patient man, if anyone was in his way he would rather push them than say 'Excuse me'. This is one of the things that drew attention to him, his ability to say or do anything without caring whether or not he'd hurt the other person, physically or emotionally.
When he reached the classroom, he strolled right in, ignoring his teacher whom was telling him to wait outside. "I'd rather not, if you don't mind" he muttered in response. Lucifer walked up to his table and sat on the end seat so that he wasn't near anyone who was nosy enough to peer over at his work. He'd never much liked curious people, he found them highly annoying. Once the class had all piled in, he took of his bag and placed it on the table to get out his pencils. After retrieving them, he lifted his bag off of the table and placed it beside him.
The teacher had already started talking, but Lucifer payed no attention. He was stuck into his drawing of a large trout fish. This was one of the pieces of work assigned to him, though Lucifer had never really taken a liking to fish. He didn't mind drawing them, but if he came into contact with one he'd probably throw up. His yellowy-amber eyes scanned the classroom for any of his clan, but there were none. He loved being alone in lessons, to not have to worry about keeping up with the conversation or faking smiles when they looked his way. Instead, he could just sit alone in a corner and be quiet. Lucifer was not an anti-social person, but sometimes he just liked to have the day to himself.

She heard the bell ring and the humans slowly begain to trickle out of the halls, untill there was no one but her left. Se knew she had a class, but felt the need to avoid more human contact. Today she just felt..lonely. She did not mean she wanted to be around humans....she wanted her own kind, or maybe...
"I should get a dog..." she muttered sarcastically knowing her beast to call was of the feline variety. She had a cat, but there where no pets allowed in school. That and her 'cat' was technically a wild Savannah. She smiled at the thought of bringing Sandre her Savannah for show and tell at school. Oh how the humans would freak.
She sighed when she saw she was at the doorway of her class. She loved art, but she knew 3 out of 6 of her human 'friends' where in that class. They would flock around her and gossip and giggle about boys and other meaningless things. She put on her best smile, straitened her shoulders, brushed her bright red hair out of her face and stepped through the door. The teacher was already talking. he frowned at her when he saw her come in late. She smiled apologetically, and he shook his head and smiled back. She found her way to her own personal easel that was covered by a white cloth. She turned the easel so it faced the wall, with a little room for her to fit between it and the wall, before removing the cloth. She didnt like others to see what she painted, she felt it was like bragging, because she knew she was good. Better than almost all the humans in the class. Thats what 70 years of practice would do for you.
She was almost done with the one she was doing now. All she needed was a few more touches of color to her fairy's hair. When it was done it would be dontated, like all her art, to the local art show to be sold for a profit for whatever charity they where supporting at the time. She smiled and began to work, letting the teachers voice sooth her into her own little world where she could paint in peace.
Lucifer's eyes shot upwards to see Deidre come in late. He couldn't help but crack a smile at her as she set up her equipment. But that didn't last long as he was already stuck back into his drawing. Just a few more finishing touches and he would be done. The thought, although it was nice, saddened him slightly. He'd always loved drawing, but never enjoyed finishing. Lucifer shrugged it off and huffed. He shot a quick glance back at Deidre, whom appeared to be hiding her work from the rest of the class. 'Heh, I'm such a good influence' he thought whilst trying his best to hold off a smile.
He loved every member of his clan but Deidre was by far his favourite. He thought back to a time when he actually felt something for her, but that passed within a month or two. Now his attention was focussed on Macy Macdonald. Would he call it love? Nope, but there was definatly something there. He could feel it, but he couldn't tell if she did too. This angered him slightly, the thought of not knowing what she felt or when she was going to feel them in the future. Lucifer, like previously mentioned, had never been much of a patient man. At times, it caused him to push things on people as if to hurry them along, but he couldn't do that with Macy. In his mind, women were especially delicate and indecisive, and if he were to force her into anything then it would not end well for him.
Although humans were weak, they had a tendancy to play with a person's emotions. Whether it be by hurtful comments, the spreading of rumors, lies, etc. And in that departement, Lucifer was weak. He would put all of his feelings into any person that he trusted, and that was one of the many reasons he had been through countless bad relationships.
Lucifer snapped out of his thoughts as he realised he was finished. Sorrow flooded into his deep yellowy-amber eyes. His hand shot up in the air as if to call over the teachers attention. The teacher walked over and gave him 'the look'. He knew that when sir gave him the look, he was not in a particular mood to chat. "Right, I can see you're in a mood, so I'll keep this simple, shall I? I'm finished, I'm leaving" he said in a basic voice, as if mocking the teacher by acting as if he was dumb. Lucifer looked deep into the teachers eyes, forcing him to nod. "Good boy" Lucifer said, standing up and patting sir on the head. He grabbed his bag, doing his usual routine of slinging the strap over his head, then walked boredly out of the class.
Before leaving the classroom completely, he turned to Deidre and winked cheekily. Then he was gone, walking down the hallways until he reached the mens bathroom. He walked over to the mirror and checked himself for any scruffy spots. Lucifer always insisted on making himself look perfect, which is why he mainly wore buttoned shirts and dress shoes to school. He chuckled to himself, then left the bathroom and decided to wander around the halls for a while longer, just until he'd found something more interesting to do.
((sorry its short,I am VERY busy))
The bell rang for lunch and Lucifer frowned. He hated lunch, mainly because he couldn't eat any human food. For some strange reason, the fact that he'd never eaten infront of anyone drew attention to him like nothing else. Lucifer somehow had a way of doing things that would make people whisper and mutter as he walked past. This extremely annoyed him. If he wasn't so used to living with these people, then he would have killed them with no mercy or regret. But this was harder now. He felt close to them, like they were the only thing that gave him comfort.
Lucifer strolled into the lunch hall and huffed, there was no one in there but him and a few other people. He looked around the hall for somewhere suitable to sit, but he ended up taking his usual seat at his clans table. He rummaged through his bag and pulled out a self-sealed can. He opened it up without difficulty and began to sip its contents. In the mornings, when Lucifer was getting ready for school, he would always tip away a can of pepsi and fill it with blood. It looked like he was drinking any normal human beverage, but little did anyone know that he was probably drinking the blood of their closest friends.
Lately, he had been sneaking in and out of Macy's house to collect small amounts of blood. He took it out of a barely visible part of her back. The only reason he did this was because Macy's blood was particularly delicious, and he had no idea why it tasted so good. It kind of made his talks with her slightly awkward, but he never acted strangely towards her. He'd put on his poker face and act like nothing had happened, he was very good at this. Lying.
Lucifer tapped his fingers against the soft wood of the table as he waited for the arrival of his clan and maybe even some human friends. Before coming to Sukusaki village, he'd hated humans with a passion. Now he found himself living with them, being friendly towards them, enjoying their company, etc. He found it strange, yet he didn't even let the thought of leaving go through his mind. He was here to stay, and that was the way it would remain for a few more years.
((sorry its short VERY busy))
Looking up she noticed Lucifer and gave him a mental hello, smiling and licking the "jam" from her lips. she finished up her homework for tommorrow and decided to hunt for a target. she blinked allowing her vampire eyes to focus her eye darted around almost supernaturally but unnoticable.
Lucifer smiled as Macy sat next to him. He pulled his can away slightly so that the scent of blood didn't reach her nose. "Hello" he said formally, then shook his head. He'd never really talked like most teenagers these days, since they all talked like morons. Again, another point why he was so easily noticed, his intelligence. Then again, having over five centuries of learning time, he was going to be smart, there was no stopping it. In his eyes, all the teenagers were clueless drug addicts with no care for their future. Sometimes when he sat and thought about it, he kind of felt sorry for them. They had such short lives, and his life would last forever.
Then Jayden, one of his clan members, sat at the table and his smile widened. "Hello Jayden, how are you this fine day?" he asked, his voice dark and brooding yet soft and calm. Jayden was another of his favourites. When they had first met, her beauty swept him off his feet, but after a while of looking at her he'd just gotten used to it. They'd never really shared anything more than frienship.
Lucifer was always more likely to warm up to the women of his clan rather than the men. It was in his nature, since vampires were quite seductive creatures. What he would have given to be with any of the female of his clan, he'd spend countless hours trying to picture what his life would have been like if he had. Though he'd never told anyone, because people were always extremely judgemental. Judgment was the last thing he needed right now.
"Hey, Lu" she grined calling him a nickname. "i couldnt be better, actually." she began with her british twang, she looked up at him. "how are you?" she smiled once again quite brightly genuinly wanting to know, she even stopped reading her book which said miles not only about him but her respect for him. he was quite stronger and perhaps handsome.. if you like that sort of thing, then again most girls do. just give her tall and handsome with smarts and jayden would be throughly satisfied.
Lucifer cringed at his nickname. It made him sound all girly, and he didn't like that. "I couldnt be better, actually." she replied with her british accent, which always made him smile. "Good to hear," he said, "And I'm alright". It seemed Jayden had stopped doing what she was doing just to talk to him, it surprised him a little bit. Was he really that important? Well, technically he was the head vampire, but he wasn't the kind of man to go around and demand respect or boss people around. Lucifer was more of a serious, calm and caring leader, who never lost his temper unless totally necessary.
He then turned to Macy and realised they'd not asked her yet. Lucifer's cheek became bright red with embarrasment. 'Great, first I forget to include her and now I'm acting like a complete idiot', he thought. He let out a deep sigh and tried to make conversation. "So, Macy, how have your classes been? No one is giving you trouble, are they? I'll sort 'em out for you" he said with that little half smirk of his. Although his fist, which was hidden under the table at this point, tightened into a ball at the thought of anyone hurting Macy, emotionally or physically.
He often times wondered why he'd been so protective of Macy, but he'd always come to the conclusion that it was just some stupid 'lack of human friends' sort of thing. His uncle, Turrin, had always said that he'd been so caught up with her because he lacked a motherly figure in his life. Maybe Macy was destined to take care of him? Nah, the possibilties of that were very slim. She'd never been too close to him before now. He hoped to change that in the future.
"So, Macy, how have your classes been? No one is giving you trouble, are they? I'll sort 'em out for you" Macy quickly looked up at him, blushing slightly."My classes are fine I guess boring as always. And no Everything Is cool,Nobody's bothering me Thanks for asking." She said rubbing the bruise that was covered up on her arm her dad left on her.She was questioning why he even asked her this.MAybe just being friendly she thought.Macy gently smiled at him."What about you how are your classes?" she asked trying to get off the subject.
Lucifer hesitated in answering her question, because he noticed the way she was rubbing her arm and acting all weird. It could have been nerves, but he highly doubted it. "What's up with your arm?" he asked, arching his left brow, with curiosity clear in his tone. "Who hurt you?". He shot a quick glance over to Jayden to see what emotion was on her face, then looked back to Macy.
That was it, his secrecy with being protective over Macy was now out in the open. He was angry, annoyed, but most of all upset that she thought she had to hide it from him. "I swear to god, if anyone has hurt you I'll beat the living daylights out of them. I won't let anyone hurt my friends" he muttered. It was true, he'd do this for any of his friends, even his clan. Although he knew his clan could take care of themselves, it was just the way he was. Protective, caring, etc.
(sorry it short I'm babysitting and using a sucky iPod.))
Once inside the house, he looked around for something interested to occupy him. Then it popped into his head. 'Women'. Lucifer walked up to his bedroom and slammed the door open. He wasn't in a particularly good mood, and sometimes he would use his blood slaves to sooth him. He called them blood slaves, but they were merely compelled humans whom had no living relatives or friends. He'd often feel bad for just using them as food, but lately he was finding himself becoming more and more merciless. He could step all over a person without caring what it did to affect them.
Lucifer held his arms out as if to greet the humans and they all surrounded him and stroked his chest, arms and back. He grabbed onto one of the girls head and pulled it back. When her neck was in full view, he lunged forwards and bit into it, drawing blood almost instantly. The warm blood oozed into his mouth, causing him to shudder and grin. The slight burning in the back of his throat was dissappearing. He liked that feeling.
Once he'd had his fill, Lucifer shooed the women away and walked over to his bed. He lay himself down and huffed, wiping the blood away from his lips and chin. One of the girls piped up and said, "God, you're such a messy eater, master". This made Lucifer giggle. "I know, I know".
Once she got home she went to open the door but,it was locked. She let out a heavy sigh and wiped her eyes sitting on the porch, trying to act as if nothing even happened.
He pulled up outside of Macy's house and saw her sitting on the porch and huffed. Lucifer climbed out of his car and walked up to her. "Is there something wrong? Honestly, you can tell me because I won't judge you, I'm your friend and I'm here to help you in any way I can" he told her as he walked closer. He knelt beside her and gave her a half-hearted smile. The pain in his chest was now burning, 'Damnit, is this how it's going to be every time she gets upset? Ugh...'.
This time, Lucifer took more of a calm and sensetive approach to making her talk about her feelings. If that didn't work, he'd just have to compell her, but that was something he didn't want to do. Not now, not ever.
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier." she said her eys filling with tears as she pulled her sleve down and looked at him, bitting her lip.

Deidre sighed as she realized she had gotten lost in her work again. She had worked right through lunch, and through pretty much the whole day. So much for getting her grades up.....not that she actually cared. really, she knew everything they where teaching her already, but she couldn't just tell them that could she? that and she didn't want to put all that effort forth just to do it again in five or ten years. She shook her head and looked at her painting. She had finished the one she had been working on in class, and had started a new one. One of a boy she had seen walking the halls not long ago....Darren Griin. She knew, he was human, and she was....well not...but that didn't mean a girl couldn't dream. She looked at the beautiful picture and shook her head. She was now starting to seem stalkerish. In her picture, it was just his face, in black and white, yet it held so much beauty. She looked at the picture one last time before covering it up and starting for the door of the art room. Maybe she could find a snack on her way home, that would take her mind off of the handsome man.
Darren walked into the doorway of the art room, bumping into Deidre. "Oops, sorry!" he said with a grin. She had a picture, which peaked his curiosity. "Hey, I didn't realise you were artistic," Darren said, "Can I see it?". He didn't mean to sound nosy, but he'd often let his curiosity get the better of him. This mainly got him into fights, which was something he did quite often in the school. Fighting, misbehaving, etc. Most teachers didn't like him for it, then again Darren's carefree attitude allowed him to not really care what anyone else thought. He was snapped out of his thoughts when he realised he was talking to Deidre.
Releasing a sigh, she allowed her body to soak up the sun's rays. Despite the cute little denim shorts and a vest top (her jacket was slung over the drivers seat) that revealed a fair amount of skin, she knew that she would never catch a tan. Forever would her skin be pale. The only thing that would happen would be that her freckles would stand out even more. Not that she minded. No-one bullied her any more. Except the odd cheerleader with whom she had grown up with. They were all spiteful. If you didn't look perfect then they pounced. Emmie had never understood vanity.
"Sooooo..." A smile tugged at Emmie's lips as her best friend, Amy, let the word hang in the air. Cracking open an eye, Emmie regarded her coolly, with an arched eyebrow.
"Yes?"
"Have you seen him today?!" The words burst from Amy's lips as though she could barely contain them. Emmie refrained from smiling, keeping her face as straight as possible.
"Seen who?" She asked nonchalantly, closing her eyes again. It took all her willpower not to squeal and spill the latest gossip, but she managed it.
"Emmeline Mariette Valance!" The use of her full name made her flinch slightly. Only her father used it when he was really, really annoyed. And that didn't happen much any more...Well except that one time she had taken a guy back to their house. Emmie still believed it would have been fine if the dude had shouted his mouth off about sleeping with her. Actually, she was glad her father promptly kicked him out. She wasn't sure she was ready for that yet.
"I don't know what you mean...."
"Yes you do! He's all you ever talk about Emmie!"
Heaving a sigh, Emmeline opened her eyes and regarded her friend for a moment. She shrugged, uncrossing her legs and swinging them over the side of the car. Sliding down, she hit the pavement lightly, bending her knees slightly. It was probably best that she admitted this now, both to herself and to Amy who seemed to grow more obsessed about her relationships that she herself did.
"It doesn't matter because he doesn't know that I exist." When her friend shot her a sympathetic look, she merely shrugged her shoulders. "It's not like I've made an effort to get to know him either. I'm happily quietly crushing on the poor guy for now and we'll see how it goes." Linking her arm through her friend's she gave it a squeeze before releasing. "Remember what happened when dad met the last one anyway? I'm pretty sure he was ready to shoot the poor guy. Anyway, we'd better get back into that school and see who is lurking around." She grinned, grabbing her backpack and jacket and gestured for the group to follow suit.

After lunch was over she wandered the halls with her headphones on. She didn't feel like going to math class. She would just make a fool of herself. No matter how long she has been taking math she keeps failing. She was jamming to Whoa by Paramore. She was trying avoid human girls but that didn't happen.
"Hey Katherine." Jessica proclaimed.
Kat "Hi" Kat turned around, but Jessica followed her. After avoiding her she finally left her. She stopped by her locker and hung there listening to Paramore.

"You know the rules Darren" She said with a mocking disapproving frown.
"No one see's my art, especially when its not done" she said with a smile.
"Anyways, whats going on? why are you darkening the door of the art room?" She asked with a mischievous twinkle in her eye and a half smile.
