Gender:
Female
Height & Weight:
She stands at about 5'3" and weighs around 110 lbs.
Additional details:
She has a flower-shaped birthmark on her knee.
Personality:
Despite her upbringing, Sakuya is an overall sweetheart. She can be bubbly and energetic, loves to talk and make friends, and she absolutely adores making memories with those close to her. She has her days where she is down just like everyone else, but generally she tries to go out of her way to be kind to everyone. The girl can let her feelings about certain people get in the way of her judgement whether that be positive or negative. She has a hard time with being physically affectionate and has a long way to go in terms of working out her feelings towards everything that has happened to her, but Sakuya is trying her best. She can become more serious in battle and even try to take command (as she is used to doing). She can be a tough nut to crack, but once you get to the meat of her, Sakuya is a valuable friend to have.

History:
Sakuya was born into the royal family of a kingdom named Gardencia. She is the oldest child between her mother (the Queen) and her father (the King). Her mother was always a bitter woman, since her to-be husband ran off with some lowly skank that slept with everything she saw. Her mother, trying to make the man jealous, started seeing Sakuya's father and...well, here's Sakuya! The pair ended up marrying, as her father was royalty as well, and having plenty of more children. Her mother possessed The Black and her father possessed The White, so Sakuya ended up having The Black via the Mana gene. From the moment she could walk, Sakuya's mother drove her children to become faithful warriors. Sakuya trained in magic as well as physical combat from a very early age. Her training was not necessarily unpleasant, but Sakuya would have very much liked to spend her time elsewhere. All that preparation, and for what? It's not like they were at war! The girl couldn't understand her mother's ways, but it was what it was. Sakuya had no choice. She was also crown princess of the kingdom. She needed to learn how to obey rules. When the pink-haired girl was eleven years old, something had changed. Gardencia had agreed to an alliance with the Sukodo Empire. New technologies found themselves within their cities! The royal family had more riches as well. All was well. At least, in Sakuya's mind all was well. Her parents knew there was a darker intention underneath this treaty of peace. Had they refused...well, they could have ended up worse than dead. So they complied, hoping the Sukodo Empire would leave their people be.
A few more years pass. It's just after Sakuya's fourteenth birthday and she is happy with the way things are going. Her mother pulled her aside and asked her to come along with her. At first, she refused, thinking it was more training. Her mother denied it, saying the matter was urgent. Sakuya started to worry, but asked if it was a family matter. Again, her mother denied it. Then she asked Sakuya to come outside of the castle! Sakuya could only stare with her big brown eyes. It was an odd request: no child was ever allowed outside the castle walls. Her mother got her dressed and handed her a bag full of essential items plus a few prized possessions of Sakuya's and her family's. The girl started to worry. What the hell was going on? Her mind started to fear the worst as her mother escorted her outside of their castle. When they arrived at their destination, her mother's eyes filled with tears. It was surreal for Sakuya. Her mother had never cried. Her mother latched on to her and gave her a huge hug, something the woman had never done to any of her children. Her mother let go after a minute, and told the terrified Sakuya to run. The girl could see the Empire's men behind her and they were outright hunting for someone. Sakuya tried to ask her mother what was happening and why, but her mother just backed away. "I'm sorry, my precious daughter. I cannot stay. I must leave. Go, please! Do not come home, do not look back!" With this, the Queen turned and started to distract the Empire's men. Sakuya did as her mother asked, but she had to wonder in the back her head what her mother's fate was.
As if planned, Sakuya eventually met up with someone who was with the Order of the Gray. The man's name was Delta. He explained to the princess that he was to take her to Gaia, a place where none would find her. The man explained that the Empire had grown tired of peace and had intended to use Sakuya herself against her parents and tear apart her kingdom from the inside out. Sakuya was mortified. She thought back on her training and schooling and sure enough, she saw the signs of manipulation from the Emperor. Choking back sobs, the Gateway opened. Delta encouraged her to go, and that he would be right there with her through the journey. She didn't know where she was heading, but she didn't look back at her homeland. She braced herself for what she was about to do and stepped through the Gateway.
It was....odd. Gaia didn't seem like the place she had read in text books. She mumbled something to Delta, who shushed her. He told her that the inhabitants of Gaia did not know the language in which she spoke, and that she had a lot of learning to do before she could be seen or heard in public. He led her to an unknown space safely away from human eyes. It was here that Sakuya had gotten a crash course in all things Gaia: the language, the brief history, the works. Delta would not stick around long, however. Once she was on her feet, the man left. She could still contact him, but for the most part she was on her own. Sakuya managed to get a job at a gas station just down the street from her apartment and has been working there for two years full time now. Was it illegal? Probably, but Sakuya didn't care. She needed the money and she needed it now. She had been going to the local school. The first year was relentlessly tiring. Sakuya was fairly smart and passed all of her classes with ease, but the other children her age were persistent in bullying her about her hair. She shrugged it off the best she could. There was a boy she was interested in, but he seemed so reserved that she didn't want to bother him. But there had been something...familiar about him somehow....oh well. A new school year is about to start, and Sakuya waited patiently for the call to return home. Sakuya hoped everything was alright and that the threat had passed. Only one way to find out, though...
