Introduction
Just to get this clear, I am not the original author of this role play idea. This came from the inactive thread called "Black★Rock Shooter, Where did you Go? -OOC/Sign Up/Open-" who's author is Kagerou. I liked this idea so much that I took the liberty of making it into a full blown role play (I notified Kagerou of course. :P). Please join! Also if you want to know the original story leading up to this, just look it up.
"A year after the events of Takanashi Yomi's disappearance (and her return), Mato is happier than ever. But, Yuu is acting strange, almost dark like Yomi-chan was that year. When she suddenly vanishes into thin air, Mato remembers "The OtherWorld" (in reference) and her counterpart, Black★Rock Shooter. Once again, Yomi doesn't show up for school one day. Fearing the worst, Mato turns back to her counterpart, with a few others who have "Other Selves". This time, she is not just saving her friends. Mato must gain more knowledge about them, their world, and ultimately, must get everyone out of there safely. But B★RS has different ideas...
How exactly does Mato become Black Rock Shooter? How does Yomi become Dead Master? ect...
What I think happens is that they share the same feelings/goals, they are able to fuse together. Yomi felt left out which is how she became Dead Master. I think that charm is the key to The OtherWorld (the one Mato gave to Yomi).
Do they really "become" this alternate person, or are they two different people?
Well, I think they share a mind while the Other Self controls the body entirely. So, two people sharing one body.
What exactly is the alternate universe?
It is called The OtherWorld in reference, and it is an island with endless sea around it. This is where the Other Selves stay. Since technically Other Selves cannot materialize in our world, they stay there. I am not sure how they communicate with their counterparts. I guess that special place where B★RS and Mato met is the only place where they can fuse.
Does Yomi go to this alternate universe when she disappears? If so, then does Mato do the same?
Yes they do, once they have fused with their Other Selves.
What happens when/if they both go missing (in the original world)?
Well, time certainty doesn't stop. I guess they are reported missing by their parents and when they come back they just make up an excuse, or a simple "I have no idea what happened."
What happens when/if they come back?

What exactly are the evil forces that have control of Yomi and how do they get control over her?
Dead Master is the evil force, she used Yomi's jealousy of Yuu as an entryway. Dark feelings are how most of these Other Selves get control, but BRS and Mato are an exception.
What EXACTLY is the relationship between BRS and Mato? (Same with the other characters and such.)
I am not really sure what relationship they have, actually. D: There are visual things, like hairstyle, similar eye color, ect.

Black Rock Shooter
Sand. Endless. Everywhere. BRS blinked as she walked across the barren sand dunes of the Otherworld. Her enormous Rock Canon was strapped to her back and her coat was zipped up, hood covering her head. It had been a year already since her human counterpart Mato fused with her to bring her friend Yomi back to the 'real world'. ever since the humans left it had been the same old life for BRS. Endless fighting. Endless wandering. Getting stronger as the days went by. But today was strangely different. Something did not feel right. BRS stops and looks to the sky. Other beings have entered the Otherworld. She could sense it and they were NOT from here. Lately she had seen countless cases where humans have found their 'other selves' and had entered this world. She had battled with them and found them to be exceedingly strong. She always knew when one was fused or not. But this was entirely different. Someone, or something had actually, physically entered the Otherworld from wherever they came from. BRS walked on checking that her canon was accessible for a quick draw. She had to be ready for anything. To hell with it. She was already ready for anything-hopefully. Sand. Endless. Everywhere....

Dark Stone Launcher
Darkness. Nothing but darkness. Wait. Theres something forming in the middle of the darkness. Its a light. But wait. That light is blue. It is a blue fire. DSL opened his eyes quickly to find himself in a dark cave. A small light broke through the damp cave cieling, shinning birghtly into his eyes. He couldn't recall at all what he was doing here. He sat up slowely, and rubbed his head with his right hand. No head wound, no chance of memory loss. He made his was up to his feet, and noticed his weapons laying on the ground next to him. He took his Stone Crusader and stuck his left hand in it. He aimed the weapon at the cieling, and looked as if he were about to launch whatever power was stored inside it. Instead he put it down, still clutching the rod that he held to keep the large weapon on his hand. He then reached for his Malevolent Saber. He studied the sword a few seconds and then stationed it in the bullet belt that he has latched around his waist. He then made his way through the cave, holding the Stone Crusader to his side, ready to aim and shoot it at any opponent he might encounter. After a few minutes he saw an opening at the end of the cavern. His pace didn't change in the slightest. Once he reached outside the cave, a vast desert opened up in front of him. He couldn't see anything beyond the cave. He walked outside and turned around to see that sand covered the top of the cave. It was mearily a tiny hole is a humonius desert. But how did he end up here. DSL's eyebrows furrowed in irritation, as he closed his eyes and tried to recall once more how he got here. Nothing. At this same time, Kaosu was looking at this world through DSL's eyes. He was amazed at the incredible desert that surrounded him, and the cave. 'This is amazing, where in the world am I?' Kaosu thought but no words came out. He wondered whos eyes he was seeing this through. It obviously wasen't his body. He then remembered seeing the man from before. This must be in his body. It was incredible. This was the world he wanted to live in and experience. He couldn't wait to see what happened next. DSL all of a sudden felt a great sence of anxiety, and excitement. He couldn't comprehend why, but decided to dismiss the thought. He began walking away from the cave, deeper into the desert. Who knows what will happen next. Whatever it was, he was ready for it.

There was someone there. In the distance BRS spotted a dark figure coming out of a dark cave. She unstrapped Rock Cannon from her back and made sure it was charged and ready. Friend or foe, she had to be careful. Unzipping her coat and pulling off the hood, she prepared to strike at any time. The figure seemed strangely familiar to her and as she got closer she saw that it was a teenage boy just about her age-what ever it was. He had a type of canon and a sword as a weapon strangely similar to her and as she got closer still she finally realized why he looked so familiar. He looked exactly like her but as a boy. Her eyes widened and she quickened her pace. How was this possible? She slowed down. What was she doing? She had let her guard down just then. What if it was some sort of trick to get her to loosen up so that he could attack her. She had to keep ready. Even if he did look like her. Stupid.

DSL continued walking through the perilous desert, until he made out a shadowy figure making its way in his direction. He wondered what it might be, and walked towards whatever it was to meet with it sooner, then if he had just stood there. After a while DSL began to make out features of this unknown being. From its' petite figure, and hair he guessed it must have been female, perhaps. However he also recognized a large weapon on her hand that seemed similar to his Stone Crusader. At the same time, Kaosu's exctement only intensified, as DSL looked toward something in the distance. As DSL went closer, Kaosu could make out another person. He was glad that DSL wasen't the only one here. He also made out a large item being carried by the strange figure. Were they going to fight? DSL finally made it close enough to were he could see the female's more descriptive features. He and Kaosu were both surprised, and it showed on DSL's face. It was hard to tell wether DSL was surprised himself, or if it was Kaosu's state of shock that made him feel that way. 'That girl... She looks just like Dark Stone Launcher. Could they be relatives?' Kaosu thought as he watched and waited for what they would do next. The girl's eyes widened as she began going at a faster pace. She also seemed to be confused by the resemblence. DSL quickly got his wits back, and aimed Stone Crusader at the girl. A blue flame all of a sudden, ignited in his left eyes, and flames rolled out. 'What is this? Are they really going to fight? Shouldn't they try and talk things out first?' Kaosu thought in an almost too calm manor. DSL gripped his right hand onto his left to support it, while bending down on one knee. He was prepared to fire, if she became hostile. Blue energy began forming in the ammo slot of Stone Crusader. He waited for her to make the first move.

Crimson Magma Phantom
Crimson Magma Phantom, or 'Crim' as he would prefer, instead of that mouthful 'Crimson Magma Phantom', walked through the deserts of the Otherworld. He loved the way the sand shifted around his footsteps, he loved the way that nothing seemed to be welcome here, he loved the way that you could walk for the longest periods of time and still find no one, he loved the way that the sand whispered certain death and the certainty that if you fell here, defeated, no one would find you in their secretive embrace. As he continued walked, he spotted two figures. Cursing, he sat down in the sand. Eric spoke up in Crim's mind. 'Looks like they're about to fight,' Crim rolled his eyes. 'No shit, sherlock.' 'Ooo, sassy today, aren't we?'. The two just decided to sit and watch. If the winner of this fight was strong enough, maybe Crim and Eric would take them on.

"Shit! I knew it!" BRS sneered as she braced herself to doge the shot her lookalike was charging for. She focused, brought Rock Cannon up to aim and charged full speed at him. So it was back to the old custom of greeting in the Otherworld: Battle. Bring it on bastard. Lets see what you can do. Her blue flame ignited violently from her eye as she took aim.

DSL squinted his eyes as the female reached for her weapon. He shot several powerful bursts of blue energy at her. They soared in her direction at incredible speed. She barely dodged the attack, and began running towards him. 'I guess they really are going to fight. Are things always like this in this world. What will happen to me if Dark Stone Launcher dies?' DSL then reached for Malevolent Saber with his free hand. He slashed the blade out, and rushed foward at the female. When he got to her, he raised Malevolent Saber high in the air, and brought it down on her, before she could launch her attack. If she avoided the attack and dodged, he would prepare another strike to her stomach. If she decided to parry his blow, then he would block her counter with his Stone Crusader, and strike at her with his sword when shes distracted. "Tch" BRS stepped back to avoid her opponent's blade as it swung down. She quickly stepped back onto the blade and sprang up high into the air. As she hung there in space the world around her slowed as her heart beat faster. With killing intent she took aim and unleashed a full barrage of shots from Rock Canon down upon him. He was pretty good. Planning his moves quickly to execute his attacks. Smart. Unlike him, she acted mostly by instinct, reading her opponents moves for openings. He was pretty good. Let's see if he's good enough.

'She pretty good too. If shes going to shoot at him then he should block with the big weapon on his left hand, and then-...' Kaosu stopped his train of thought as the girl launched herself into the air, from DSL's sword. She then aimed her weapon at him and let out an onslot of blue shot from it. As Kaosu thought he would, DSL used his Stone Crusader to block the shots. Although this protected him, he was blown a couple of feet back with each shot. These attacks were powerful. Kaosu starred in awe as DSL took his Malevolent Saber and reared it back. As he thought, DSL was going to throw it at her like a javelin. DSL found and opening through the barrage of energy blasts. As soon as the girl landed, and threw Malevolent Saber with full force directly towards her head. He was going for a killing blow. Or as it seemed. 'Thats not a direct attack... Its a distaction.' Kaosu thought, as if his mind were in sync with DSL's. As soon as he thought this, DSL made a run towards the girl, while still using his Stone Crusader to block any blasts that came at him. The pause in the assault told him that his distraction must have been successful. This gave him enough time to run directly behind her, and aim Stone Crusader at her back. "How about giving death a try?" DSL said to BRS, saying his first sentence ever sence he came here. He then let out several blasts of energy from his weapon. It would be very difficult to avoid this at point blank range.

Violet Veil Caster
I pout as I jump from building to building. I deserted town, full of tall and sturdy structures. Everything seemed rather blue too, I didn't like it, so I pout. "Why is it sooo lonely?!" I grumble angrily to myself. Well sure, if I meet someone that may mean a fight...but maybe, just maybe, I can make a friend! 'B-be careful!!' The small girly whimpered in her mind, and I just rolled my eyes. What does she have to be afraid of? She's not the one fighting! I take a long sigh as I stand on top of one of the long deserted buildings. Where was I suppose to go now? Everywhere was a somewhat deep emptiness that I didn't like, not one bit. I cross my arms stubbornly, as I try to turn my back to it, only to be greeted by more nothingness. "Why can't I explore your world?! At least there's people there! And nice people too!" I ask the girl in my head. She took a long sigh, I could feel it 'Because...They'd be scared of you, when carry around something big like that..' She was clearly meaning my weapon, a long trusty sword with a rather strange tip, and it seems to be able to cast my veils flawlessly. I giggle, cast my veils, it sounded funny. I try to convince myself as I jump to the other building, trying to make my way to somewhere, anywhere with people.
I pout as I jump from building to building. I deserted town, full of tall and sturdy structures. Everything seemed rather blue too, I didn't like it, so I pout. "Why is it sooo lonely?!" I grumble angrily to myself. Well sure, if I meet someone that may mean a fight...but maybe, just maybe, I can make a friend! 'B-be careful!!' The small girly whimpered in her mind, and I just rolled my eyes. What does she have to be afraid of? She's not the one fighting! I take a long sigh as I stand on top of one of the long deserted buildings. Where was I suppose to go now? Everywhere was a somewhat deep emptiness that I didn't like, not one bit. I cross my arms stubbornly, as I try to turn my back to it, only to be greeted by more nothingness. "Why can't I explore your world?! At least there's people there! And nice people too!" I ask the girl in my head. She took a long sigh, I could feel it 'Because...They'd be scared of you, when carry around something big like that..' She was clearly meaning my weapon, a long trusty sword with a rather strange tip, and it seems to be able to cast my veils flawlessly. I giggle, cast my veils, it sounded funny. Pain ripped through BRS's back as her opponent unleashed a shot at her back at point blank range. Flying through the air she managed to land upright. Falling to one knee with rock canon still in her hand she closed her eyes and focused. The pain was so great that she could barely keep her mind off it, but she managed to gather enough energy. Rock Canon warped and morphed around her hand into a giant blade. "Death? I think I'll pass." Blue flame erupted from her eye as she lunged towards him. He brought his weapon up to block her attack but instead of striking, she put her hand on his canon and flipped forward springing up over him while bringing her blade down upon his head. "Dodge this!"

In a deserted town not far away a brilliant flash of light shot out of the sky. It touched down on the top of a building and disappeared as quickly as it appeared. At the center of where the light had been, a figure raised its head. Clad in a large white cloak, and a massive white scythe with magenta streaking its blade was strapped to the being's back. A large white hood covered the face of the figure as it looked around. What a dull, sorry place. I couldn't imagine living like this. It's surprising anything inhabited this world. But what had to be done had to be done. White Rock Shooter took her first step in the Otherworld as she took a deep breath. Soon, everything would be hers. This world, and Earth as well. It was almost time. She had no time to waste. She turned her head and spotted, what looked like a female making her way across the town. WRS face twisted into an evil grin. It wouldn't hurt to play for a little while. Her mission could wait. She reached back, unstrapped Rock Scythe and made her way towards the girl without making the slightest sound. Wait. WRS stops moving towards the girl and notices something to her left. She sighed. Why was HE disturbing her of all people! The girl would have to wait. She had to stop him before he drew attention to himself. A large weapon launched her way. A bright pinkish flame burst from her right eye and she caught the weapon effortlessly throwing it to the ground. "ZINAN!!" She yells across the barren town. "How dare you attack your superior! Could you not recognize me from that far away?" WRS lifted the hood from her head letting loose two perfectly even white twin tails. Well at least she had a familiar face around here. But she had to send him away for the task he needed him to do. She took a glance at the girl, now very far off. I'll catch her later.

Violet Veil Caster
I continue to jump from rooftop to rooftop, but suddenly I twitch. From habit, I layer the places I explore with a thin, barely visible veil that's low. Almost against the ground. In short, I felt some break, that meant someone was around. I jump to a few more rooftops before casually slowing down to a stop, as if I was checking out something. I twitch again, felling more than one veil break at once. "Fuck..." I groan, hoping they are nice. I hear a scream and blink, confused, Are they fighting each other? 'RUN!!! run run run!!' The girl yelled in my head, and I just pout. 'SHUTUP!!' I yell at the girl, satisfied when she quieted down. I was not going to run, I'm not that type of girl. I take my thick Caster, or that is at least what I called it. It could be used as a sword, but it was more impressive than just a sword. I suddenly turn around. Seeing some kind of weapon being aimed at...a girl, who was covered in white and some kind of pinkish tone. They didn't seem interested in me, but I stood, ready just in case.

The full moon of the Otherworld rose high above the desert sands. The dim light silhouetted the figure of a short hooded girl. Two massive mechanical arms hung at her side resting on the ground as her black, vertebrae like tail swung back and forth by the back of her knees. Why must she be so sad? Why do I feel it overwhelming me? Why do I feel.... like I need to kill?... Why?.... It's because of her. Two voices, in her head. Which one was her? Which one was the human? She couldn't tell anymore. Their feelings and thoughts were one and the same. They needed to find her. To kill her. It was the only way. Dead Master. "Yo....mi..." A whisper escaped from her mouth. DSL wasen't the least bit surprised that the girl survived his attack. However it did surprise him when she turned her canon into a giant sword. He braced himself and held out Stone Crusader out in front of him to block the blow. However the girl stopped midway and flipped over his weapon.When she landed she slashed her large blade out at him. 'Oh damn! Can he avoid that? Lets see... Duck then ditch the big weapon. Roll over to the sword and-...' Kaosu once again stopped as DSL repeated the actions he was thinking. He ducked to avoid the blade, only recieving a small scratch against his cheek. He then threw Stone Crusader in the opposite direction of where he was going. After doing so he roled over to where he had dropped Malevolent Saber. After retrieving it, he raised it high in the air and drove it through the ground, with all his might. Small blue crack began forming through the ground, from where the blade went through it. The cracks rapidly began forming and rushing towards the girl. She could see pieces of ground bursting into the air from where the cracks began. This happened along the trail of cracks, each burst becoming larger, and more destructive. She would have to avoid the cracks before they reached her. 'What kind of place is this? Can he really do something like that?' Kaosu thought aloud in awe.

Damn. Only a scratch. It was an obvious attack to interpret but she expected more damage than that. She landed on her feet and turned to see him drive his blade into the ground. Small blue cracks lined the ground where the blade was and they branched out rapidly, growing into larger cracks with explosive power. Hmm. I can do that too, can't I? Lets give it a try! BRS gathered energy in her blade and drove it into the ground as well, releasing the energy. The results were the same as blue cracks also branched out from her blade. As the opposing cracks got closer they became bigger. Simultaneously they met. There was a blinding flash of blue light and a large explosion of energy as BRS was thrown back. She tried landing upright but it was no use. The blast had rocked her entire body and she hit the ground hard rolling over and over. She got to her knees fast using her blade for support. Gasping for breath she looked to see where her opponent was going to attack from next.

With blinding speed she appeared suddenly before him bringing her hand up and slapping him across the face with such force that it was sure to knock him off of his feet. "How dare you relate me to those inferior skin-bags?! Learn your place! 'Deal with me?' I was the one who told Mii to send you along with me! Even though you may be powerful, you do not know the importance of this mission! Every tiny detail we leave out could mean disaster for the invasion. To make sure everything is to be in order, I personally came to see it carried out! So don't you go acting so high and mighty thinking your above me just because I'm not one of your kind." She leaned over, her face almost touching his. "Do as I say, and I might have some promising positions for you in this new world I am going to create. Do otherwise, and you'll be lucky to get off this rock alive. Do I make myself clear?"

DSL was confident that this attack would prove successful. However, to both his and Kaosu's surprise, the girl repeated the same attack back at him. How was she able to do to his? 'She has the same abilities as Dark Stone Shooter. How is this possible?' As soon as the combusting cracks collided there was a huge flash of blue light. The force of it blew both him and the girl backwards. She seemed to recover from it, but DSL didn't get so lucky. He hit his left arm on a medium-sized rock and the force of the collision cause his arm to break against it. DSL winced a little in pain. He now had only 1 arm to fight, but that was all he needed. 'Gah! Damn it, that hurts!... Huh? The pains' gone. Thats funny, I'm sure I just felt my arm break.' Kaosu exclaimed in amazement. Aparently, any injuries DSL got, he only experienced for a short amount of time. 'Does this mean if he dies, then I'll feel what its like to die?' She could usually recover from wounds very quickly but this was something else. It was like getting a direct hit with her own canon. She shook it off and got ready if he was to attack. But as the dust cleared she saw that her opponent was injured as well. This was her chance. Her blade suddenly morphed back into Rock Canon and she took aim. I've got to end this already. She focused and the barrel shaft of Rock Canon glowed a bright blue. A small sphere of blue energy formed at the opening of the canon and grew larger as BRS gathered more energy. The flame on her left eye danced and she closed her eyes. "Disappear."

Kaosu is the one who recovers from any pain that happens to DSL. DSL is the same. Just slightly more powerful and durable then a normal human. xD
