Throughout his life Travis excelled in athletics, mostly in football, which he tried out for once he entered high school. It was around this time that Travis started to form an unusual gift. During his junior year, he suffered from bouts of restlessness and insomnia. Constantly having the need to go out and do something instead of sitting around, Travis would sneak out in the middle of the night to try and burn off to what he perceived as excess energy. The rest of the school year and the next one, he spent trying to control it.
After graduating, he found a spent a year trying to find his calling, before finding it in serving his country by joining the Army. He had passed all the requirements and training in boot camp with flying colors and was picked to join the 101st airborne, which he had guaranteed in his enlistment contract. A year in the 101st, Travis put in his Enlisted Record Brief to join the Army Rangers to be reviewed. He was found eligible and applied to join the regiment. Like boot camp beforehand, Travis made the qualifications with ease. He spent the next five years in the 75th Ranger Regiment. Travis knows that it was partially due to his ability that he would pass through the most grueling challenges with high marks.
After leaving the Rangers, he applied to the University of Colorado's Criminal Justice program. In three years time, Travis earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and sought off to what he could do with it. A former colleague recommended to try and go into the field of law enforcement, Travis saw the best opportunity in applying for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He has spent the last few years investigating the various cases that has gained the bureau's notice, the more recent of which is the increasing rate of arms trafficking in Fort Blackburn.
