Other form's Appearance: When transformed, he grows sharp white fangs, and his irises resemble that of a cat's.

More In-Depth Description: Arthur enjoys white clothing, typically suits. His skin is a porcelain whiteness, yet his body is covered in the faintest of scars and burn marks. Description: Arthur is a young man who knows exactly where he fits in with those around him. While he may not be the most powerful in the room, he is aware that he is strong enough to demand respect from those that may be far and beyond his superior. This makes him come off as arrogant and cocky. Unfortunately for those around him, he grew up privileged, so he cares little of the opinions of others. He has a nasty tendency of brutally harassing his human sister, and even will go out of his way to torment her. It is not a nice or pleasant kind of torment, either. Those who have fought Arthur have mentioned that he has strong desire to come out alive, and the tactics of someone decades older to make sure he will not only live, but possibly emerge victorious.

History

Birth Place: "Born" in Salem, Mass.
Detailed Back Story: Arthur was born into the prestigious Rotheram clan. He immediately showed signs of having the same capabilities of his grandfather; bloodcrafting magic. The Rotherams were well-known for their use of bloodcraft magic. No expense was spared for Arthur to master his magical prowess. While growing up, he was showered with praise and prestige. No vampire was his equal. He was hand-selected to be the heir for the Rotheram line, yet his grandfather denounced him. Eager to prove himself, Arthur did anything that Victor asked, and had passed with flying colors. Then, news came to the Rotheram clan about Blackwall's new policy regarding humans. Victor demanded that Arthur enroll, in order to encourage other students and funding for the school.

While growing up, Arthur inherited his parent's disgust for his twin sister. He tormented her every single chance he could, and even went so far as to torture her several times. As they grew, she developed limited fire magic, which did little to Arthur. When she ran away from home, he was forbidden by his grandfather to hunt and kill her. However, when he found out about her forced enrollment, he jumped at the opportunity to finish her off.

So begins...

Students pile out of the buses, trains, cars and path, heading towards the castle-like building, dragging their heavy suitcase looking packed for a whole year or whole term at BlackWall high. The sinking sun of the afternoon makes the sky look as if it were on fire. This year, there is a slight change in plan when it comes to the students. A few humans have been placed among the supernaturals. They just think it's another school but for higher abled students like themselves. The will soon find out that they were wrong, so very VERY wrong.

Right now, the wooden gates are closed as the last few tasks are being completed by the teachers of the school. The gate opened and students flooded into the courtyard, halls, coridoors: everywhere. The sea of school uniforms and talking make it almost impossible to identify anyone and what they are. Some are more obvious: being in groups showing off new tricks they learnt to do using their abilities, others just walking in with no words or facial expression.

Human students and teachers pile into the smaller hall while supernatural students and teachers pile into the massive hall, about four times larger than the one the humans are in. The head mistress, Miss BlackWall, gives a speech in both halls. The speech for the human's was very different to the speech for the supernaturals. Miss BlackWall comes up onto the podium and her booming voice projects around the whole hall as she says:

"Welcome, all of you, to BlackWall high. As some of you may know, I am Miss BlackWall: principle of this school and it is my job to make sure you have the best experience here at BlackWall High. You will all be going to your dormitories for today to get settled in. The majority of your fellow students here are... difficult to handle. Now, we have a few ground rules...

Number 1: You can't drop out until the end of the year and rule-breaking is not tolerated. If you are found to be breaking the rules, your punishments will be... well, let's just say unpleasent.

Number 2: Being enrolled to this school is a privalige as is experiencing it's traditions some of it's secrets and meeting the other students here, respect that fact. The old students adore this place and might not be as nice to you if you disrespect them or this school. Keep that in mind.

And finally, Number 3: Do not leave your dorms after 7:30pm.

Anyone that breaks rule number 3 will be punished by breaking rule number 3 at that time. Go to reception to get your timetables, room number and information about the school. Goodbye."

She then gets off the podium as the humans pile out to reception, going to the hall full of the supernaturals. The supernatural students are all over the place in the hall, some in the seats set out, some on the walls and a few even on the ceiling. Miss BlackWall goes up to the podium at the front and shouts "quiet" into the microphone, getting everyone's attention. She then clears her throat and says:

"Welcome, all of you, to BlackWall high. As you know, my name is Miss BlackWall and before anyone else asks: yes, humans are being enrolled into the school this year. Deal with it. Our ruler has purpousfully done this to try and fix the bond between humans and us supernaturals. For this reason, this years rules have changed. The new rules are...

Number 1: Rulebreaking is not tolerated. If you are found breaking a rule, you will be punished and expelled, depending on how serious the rule is, with a record of it on your profile until the day you die.

Number 2: Fighting in school is not allowed. Save it for when your let into the woods.

Number 3: Do not kill any humans that happen to be outside the dorms after 7:30pm.

Number 4: Do not lure any humans to go outside the dorms after 7:30pm.

Go to reception to get your timetables, room number and information about the school. Goodbye."

Miss BlackWall leaves the podium as the supernaturals pile out and towards the reception, where some humans are still waiting for their room numbers, timetable and info about the school.

Arthur was hungry. His soul ached. The light jostling of the vehicle transporting him irritated him greatly. Foolish mortals couldn't bother maintaining a simple road. He didn't understand why they had to try and terraform the Earth for their foolishness. The vehicle slowed down to a halt. His attendants grasped the wooden coffin that he was contained within and hoisted him from the vehicle. Arthur wished he could avoid being carried in such a way, but he still had about an hour of daylight left to wait. His attendants carried him up a few flights of stairs and into a room. The lid on his coffin was removed. Arthur stood up as his four attendants backed away from him. He looked around the room. All of the windows were covered by black sheets, leaving a pale blue lighted glow shining through. There were dozens of desks pushed to one side, indicating that during the day the room was a classroom. Arthur uncrossed his arms from their position over his chest and looked about the room while his attendants prattled on about some speech that the headmistress delivered.
"Spare me the words of a commoner," Arthur mumbled, silencing them, "I am more interested in the possibility of another mortal. Tell me, did you see her?"
"No, sire," his attendant responded, "If she is here, then she eluded us."
A twisted smiled formed on Arthur's lips, "I see. Well, then she has decided to make things difficult for me. No matter. Where are my lodgings supposed to be?" Another of his attendants handed him a slip of paper. Arthur inspected it for a time, and then discarded it as a ball into the rubbish bin. "Someone from the Blir clan. No doubt eager to establish his dominion over me with his mind control. Brave of them to pair two vampires with a human. He'll be dead within the week." His attendants chuckled. Arthur took a wine glass and a glass bottle filled with a thick red liquid from his coffin and poured himself a glass. His men stood guard while he drank from the glass.
"My lord," one of them returned from outside, "Night has fallen."
He wiped the blood from his chin, "Brilliant. I am going to stretch my legs before heading up to my dorm room. Be sure to carry this and my luggage to its proper place." His men carried his coffin off into his dorm room. Without asking for permission, or even explaining who they were or why they were in the room, his men unloaded the coffin and Arthur's chest in his designated room. Additionally, they carried out the bed that had been provided for him, along with much of the paintings on the walls. They carried in several old-fashioned oil paintings in gorgeous bronze frames and hung them up on the walls in his room. Each painting that they carried up depicted a gruesome death.
Meanwhile, Arthur took to strolling around the campus, looking for something. Or perhaps someone...

The train slows down to a stop and the doors open. Liam steps out of the train doors and lets his eyes adjust to the light of outside. "Geez, there were no windows on that train... Let's just get this over with... It's only one year..." he mutters. He had no intention of coming here and heard further more that Arthur Rotheram was coming to this school along with his human sister. He'd better be careful aroun him as he's heard about Arthurs general reputation and what he does to his sister.

Liam was just using his Telekenisis to drag his suitcase along with him, using up much less energy. Some of the most basic things can be done much easier at least... As the gates swing open, he leaves his luggage with the staff and sits down in the hall and listens to the speech. He catches a few words like "Rule-Breaking is not tolerated" and "lure outside" but he generally wasn't listening. He just wanted to meet the people he would have to spend his private time with. As he got out into the corridoor, he felt like crying when he read "Room 172: Steven Markson, Arthur Rotheram and Liam Blir.". Instead, he just face-palmed as some other supernaturals shout unlucky at him and cuss at him.

Liam scowls as he makes his way to the dorm. He wasn't bothered too much about being with Arthur. To be honest, Arthur would probably be burned to ashes if it came down to it but he worried more about the human student: Steven Markson. What were they thinking?! They must know about Arthur's reputations and how he'll probably kill some humans within the first day!! As Liam goes to the courtyard on the way to the dorms, he sees Arthur strolling around and he cusses to himself under his breath. He notices that a few people were using him as cover to get past Arthur without being seen. Liam scowls and continues to his room.

When he unlocks the door to room 172, he can already tell Arthur had been here and not in the hall. The whole room spelt five letters making one word. Death. The paintings on the walls were of people being executed, mauled, all kinds of things. Liam suddenly pondered on how the human would react to the decorations, not to mention the roommates. A single bed covered most of the room which Liam presumes is Arthurs with two tiny beds for Liam and the human. Liam didn't mind as it was in a corner. He likes sleeping in corners more than the center of the room. It's harder to see him there but with Arthur as a roommate, this year is probably going to be a living hell.

Liam just enters the room, taking his shoes and socks off before walking anywhere. He knew it was a japanese human tradition but it kept the floor clean and his feet were burning from not touching air for a day. To be honest, it felt comfier than walking with shoes on but of course, that wasn't allowed so he stands on his tiny bed and awaits his roommates, knowing Arthur was going to take dominance over both of them, he decides to actually sit cross-legged like a school child. He felt rediculous but it was probably the least dominant posture he could put up as he is the last child of his mother and father, after all.

"What is your name? What dorm room are you in? What is your favorite food? What is your favorite finger? What is the meaning of life? What is the name of your pet? Do you sleep on your left side, Middle side or right side of your bed? Am I being annoying? What color is the dress? My name is Hikari, What's your name?" the girl bombarded the questions at her and Abbey didn't really know how to react. In the end, Abbey just stared at her until answering a few of her questions slowly. "Uhhh... It's still night for one thing. My name is Abbey... I believe the meaning of life is to enjoy it... I'm in room 170 if I remember and this map is confuzing me. I have no pets since a year ago, there is no dress and yes, you are being slightly annoying..." she says.

Before the girl could react, her attnetion was forcefully pulled to a spirit nagging her for attention. "Hey! Look at this guy! He seems cool! Why don't you say hi to him? Can you let him see me?" they were shouting, bombarding her with suggestions like the girl did with questions. She looked at the person they were pointing out to see a boy around her age with silver hair and the look of a troublemaker. "That's not 'cool'... I know you want that guy to actually meet you, you've been rambling on about him ever since I got to this f***ing school..." Abbey mutters quietly. Abbey realises that the girl next to her would've probably heard her as well as some supernaturals with keen hearing in the area. She quickly goes in the opposite direction to the guy, somehow conviniently going to the dorms.

She sees Room 170 on one of the doors and she realises she found the dorms and specifically her room. She can hear shouting and laughs through some of the doors next to her room's door. She unlocks it with the key she has and walks into the room. It was so dark and eerie at first before she saw the spirit of a girl, hung up on the ceiling by a spirit of a rope? She quietly steps back in panaic, screaming inside.

Arthur's speed made the tour about the grounds child's play. He stopped near the outskirts to gaze upon the sky's fading blue light. The crisp air carried with it promises of a delightful year, especially for him. Then, he heard the faintest of whispers, which caused his ears to twitch involuntarily. Hurriedly he glanced over to find the source of the noise. His eyes gazed upon the face of a lovely blonde human girl. If he had a heart, it may well had started racing then and there. Right as soon as he spotted her, she vanished. His lips curled into an involuntary smirk. What untold surprises you have in store for me, Blackwall. I may yet enjoy my time here. His eyes fell upon the other person who had just been talking to the human girl. His nose wrinkled in disgust. Her holy blood taunted him, threatening a blissful meal, but he knew it to be poison. Without a word, Arthur ducked away to the other side of the dorm room. His fateful encounter with the human girl would have to be postponed, at least for the moment.

Arthur sauntered up the stairs, eagerly looking for his room number. Just as he arrived, he slipped back down the stairs. The human girl unlocked her door and entered her own room down the hall. While he could easily snag her and whisk her away, Arthur wanted to have a little more fun. After she had gone, he found his own room. As he turned the knob, he thought he heard someone in the room already. The last thing he wanted was to find his attendant, or perhaps the human male barking orders and pretending that the school's precious rules would save him. Arthur let out a sigh and opened the door. Inside, he found someone sitting in a peculiar position. He narrowed his eyes, unsure of what to make of it.
"Ah. You must be the human boy, Steven. Why are you sitting like that? Did you injure yourself in some way?" Arthur closed the door behind him and entered the room gracefully.

Dialogue ~ #15155E

As the bus came to a not-so-gentle stop, Steven's body shifted forward, his barely conscious mind hardly aware of this movement until his forehead met with the seat in front of him. He jolted upward, quick to place a hand on his head, though mostly in confusion over pain. He'd fallen asleep shortly after boarding, being unable to stay asleep the night before. The door to the bus opened as his eyes moved to the window beside him, deciding to wait for the other passengers to get off first so he wouldn't be caught in the crowd. To think he'd get an invite to a school he didn't even remember applying for, but his parents were far too excited for him to just turn it down. It was supposed to be a pretty top-notch school, after all. From what he could see past the hundreds of bodies that were shuffling through the newly opened gates, the place looked more like a 16th century castle than a school.

"Hey, you getting off already or what?"

"Uh? Yes, sorry!" Realizing that he'd been sitting there a few seconds longer than he thought, he slid out of his seat with a red a black striped duffel back over his shoulder. Pulling his suitcase out after him, he stepped off the bus and followed the crowd with the plain blue, over-stuffed suitcase in tow.

He tried to keep to the sidelines as he stood amongst the bodies of students as the headmaster introduced herself and listed off a number of rules in which Steven paid close attention though, though he couldn't help but feel like some of them seemed a little sinister, more specifically the subject of punishment that would be given if a rule would be broken by someone. Having a curfew of seven thirty sounded kind of early for a bunch of teenagers to abide by too, but rules were rules.

It took him a while before he finally managed to make it to the front of the line and learn his room number. This would be the first time he'd ever been assigned a dorm, but it would be good preparation for college, at least. With his eyes following the paper map in his hand, he searched for room 172, taking a few wrong turns here and there before he spotted the numbered door. He stood in front of it for a moment before knocking a couple times, not wanting to startle anyone by entering unannounced, and turning the knob, noting that it was currently unlocked before letting himself in.

Though he noticed that there were two people already here, the first thing that caught his attention was the less-than-pleasant decor. Whoever he was dorming with had some odd taste, to say the least. He reacted by stopping suddenly and scanning the room with a somewhat awkward expression on his face. "This..is.."

His gaze stopped on the the others in the room and he straightened up a little, trying to give at least a small smile despite his discomfort of the room decoration. He'd definitely be rearranging whichever side was his. "Hi, I'm Steven Markson. I guess we're roommates."

He nearly moved forward, ready to make his way to the bed that appeared untouched against the other side of the room, but he stopped as his foot tapped something on the floor. Looking down, he realized that he'd nearly stepped on someone shoes. "Oh," he said mostly to himself before removing his own shoes and placing them against the wall. He made his way over to the empty bed and dropped his duffel bag on it, then turned to face the other two.

"So who's Arthur and who's Liam?"

Liam looks up as Arthur steps into the room.
"Ah. You must be the human boy, Steven. Why are you sitting like that? Did you injure yourself in some way?"
Liam looks at him, letting a bit of his vampire self slip by letting a bit of red enter his iris and revert back to light blue to show that he is definately not human. Arthur closes the door behind him. "I guess your Arthur, I'm Liam by the way. I don't know where the human is." Liam says, trying not to sound bossy or rude because he heard he doesn't take people who act dominant well. There is then a knock on the door behind Arthur. "That must be Steven." Liam says. There is a pause before the door opens and a blonde boy with brown eyes steps into the room, looking around saying, "This..is... Hi, I'm Steven Markson. I guess we're roommates." Steven walks over to the other unoccupied bed, almost stepping on Liams shoes and Steven realises it and takes off his own shoes before throwing his bag onto the other tiny bed and then asking who is who.

"I'm Liam, he's Arthur." Liam point at Arthur and then realises what he just did. Liam looks at Arthur, waiting to see his reaction, staring at him with no sign of a smirk or smile at all, just a face to show they're serious about things.

Ace swirled the glass of amber liquid in his hand with a bored expression on his face. He couldn't believe the turn of events. Only a few weeks prior, he was living his life free and the way he had always wanted. Nobody was after him, and he knew some measure of peace. He knew it was too good to last, and, soon enough, his past caught up to him. The phone next to him vibrated on the bar top. Lazily he flipped it over and glanced down at the screen. All it said was his room number and the time for classes to begin. With a sigh, Ace paid for his drink, slipped on his coat and scarf, and stepped out of the bar. He hailed a cab and arrived at Blackwall High within minutes. Before heading up to get settled in at his room, Ace decided to explore the grounds. Much to his surprise, he found that most of the students had already gone to their rooms in the dorm. Naturally, he didn't know what to say if he found a student wandering around after curfew. Probably some half-ass speech before escorting them back to their room. Ace doubted that he would have even mentioned it to someone else. While he wandered about, he shuffled his deck of cards in one hand absentmindedly. He spotted a teenager out of the corner of his eye slipping into the dorm. A small sense of dread built up in his gut. Oh great. Just what I needed, Ace thought to himself. He circled the building, buying himself some time and enjoying the night air.

Arthur stared at Liam directly in the eye for a few minutes, unblinking. Liam was not what he expected. He expected, daresay fantasized, a bloodthirsty vampire ready to challenge him. What he found before him was a spineless whimpering dog by comparison. Slowly, his eyes flickered over to Steven. Arthur studied Steven's disgust in the paintings that Arthur had hung on the wall.
"I am Arthur Rotheram, and I am apparently your roommate, human named Steven. Tell me, do you feel safe in this room?" His blood red eyes watched his expression hungrily. "These paintings, they are to your liking, yes? No, you both hate them. They are the subject of violent murders. Now, why would I hang such things on the wall in full view of everyone who would come to visit?" Arthur glided across the room, his fangs sparkling in the light. He stopped to look out of the window.
"The answer is simple," he replied to his own question, "These are paintings of my enemies. Foes that I butchered with these hands. After I killed them, I burned them to cinders and used their ashes to create these masterpieces you see before you now. This may be hard to comprehend at this time, human named Steven, but the enemies I have are ones that do not die so easily. These paintings are here so I can keep an eye on them. Do you have enemies, human named Steven?" Arthur's unsettling gaze fell upon Liam once more. I know you can hear me, Blir. Unless the legends of your powerful mental capabilities are exaggerated. You wish to kill this human, don't you? You hear his blood pulsing in his veins, yes? Go ahead, indulge in your baser instincts, and devour the human. We share the same desires. I won't stand in your way... Arthur smiled at Steven, feigning innocence.

Dialogue ~ #15155E

"I'm Liam, he's Arthur."

Steven moved his eyes from Liam to Arthur, finding his hair to be an interesting color for someone his age. Maybe he dyes it? It did look interesting with his even more unusual eye color. Contacts? The decor likely belonged to him.

"It's nice to meet you," he said, looking back at Liam for a second before kneeling down to unzip his suit case. Since he fit most of his clothes in his duffel bag, he was able to bring along a few extra things. He stood up and moved his duffel bag over, letting it fall of the bed, before spreading out a red blanket and placing it on the bed. He didn't feel like unpacking everything just yet, but he could at least get his bed ready for the night.

"I am Arthur Rotheram, and I am apparently your roommate, human named Steven. Tell me, do you feel safe in this room?"

That was an odd question. He raised an eyebrow slightly, not quite sure how to respond. Was he not supposed to feel safe?

"These paintings, they are to your liking, yes? No, you both hate them. They are the subject of violent murders. Now, why would I hang such things on the wall in full view of everyone who would come to visit?"

"To make it impossible for me to make friends while I'm here?" Steven thought to himself, but made no attempt to answer. Not that he had time to, since Arthur saw it to answer his own question without giving anyone time to reply. He watched the white-haired boy make his way to the window in a rather dramatic way before he continued to speak. Something about ashes and enemies and keeping an eye on the paintings. By now Steven had pulled out his cell phone to let his mother know that he'd made it to the school safely, but his service seemed to be uncooperative at the moment.

"Do you have enemies, human named Steven?"

He slid his phone into his pocket and looked back up at Arthur, again faced with an odd question. "I don't really draw attention to myself, so I don't normally attract those kind of people." He answer his roommates question honestly. Sure, he's had people try to pick fights with him now and then, but a teacher or someone else would always step in before it could go any further. He didn't have any actual rivals who were bent out to destroy him or anything.

"I'm gunna find out where the cafeteria is before curfew. Didn't really eat much today, so I wanna check out the menu."

He zipped up his suitcase and made his way to the door, but stopped just before slipping on his other shoe. "Do either of you wanna come?"

They were going to be spending a lot of time together from here on out, so they might as well try and get to know each other. Arthur had a pretty vivid imagination and...well he wasn't really sure what to think of his taste in room decor. He was kind of relieved that Liam seemed normal enough, but he also seemed a little off. Steven slipped on his other shoe and opened the door, waiting a second in case one of them decided to tag along.

Liam stares at Arthur as if they were a complete numbskull. Liam stands up, still staring at him. "Sure. I'll come" Liam says, his tone making it obvious he isn't focused on Steven at this point in time. Arthur gives them an innocent look. If you think I'm stupid enough to be tricked into a trap that simple, think again. I'm not going to fall right into your hands from a few sentances. You aren't here for no reason. What are you looking for, who? Liam asks through his mind. Liam now turns to Steven. "Theres a couple of minutes before 'curfew' so you may want to hurry along"

Arthur stared past Liam, impassive. When Liam spoke to him, the corner of his mouth turned up into the slightest twitch of a smile. Trap? Come now, Liam. have you truly fallen so far? Arthur's inner voice sounded incredulous. His mind opened like a book. In that book, a powerful, nearly unbearable thirst for blood followed. Arthur imagined the slaying of several humans, in great painstaking detail, over and over. He then slowly bent down and picked up a dusty old wine bottle out of his black coffin along with two elaborate crystal glasses. Arthur, still fixated on the slaughter of his victims playing over and over in his mind, popped the cork of the bottle. The telltale scent of blood leaked from the bottle. Arthur poured the red liquid into each glass, swirling it around in his hands. The urge of thirst stained his every thought. Arthur studied Liam's reaction in a curious manner.
"I'm afraid I have other matters to attend to, human. Try not to stay out too late with your new friend," he chuckled softly. Arthur set down one of the glasses, half full of blood, on the nightstand next to Liam's bed.
Have fun, Blir.

She chewed up the sweets in her mouth, pleased that they weren't spicy. After she finished, Victoria politely excused herself and headed out of her dorm room. The music from her headphones blared in her ears as she wandered the halls of the dorm. Upon passing by a door that was partially opened, she heard the end of a conversation. Two gentlemen stood in the doorway talking to a third. Victoria's breath hitched in her throat. The third person pushed past the other two and bolted after her. She took off running down the hallway and bolted up the stairs. Although she couldn't hear the footsteps, she knew he was right behind her. Her heart thundered in her chest. This was it. He was going to kill her tonight, she could feel it. When she came upon the rooftop, she came to the realization that she was completely trapped. Arthur calmly walked towards her.
"Stay back!" she called out, inching back to the railing. He simply smiled.
"You seem scared, Vikki. Why are you so frightened?" his voice sounded calm and somewhat soothing, but she could hear the malicious intent behind it.
"I-I'll jump," she threatened, "I'm not going to let you kill me." Arthur narrowed his eyes. He bit the tip of his finger and tossed his own blood into the air. It floated around him in red orbs. With a flick of his wrist, it immediately surrounded her and formed into tiny red blades.
"Now now, let's not do anything hasty," he chuckled, "See, I could kill you at any time. I could even get away with it, too. Our family is quite powerful."
She glared at him, "Fine. Do it, then. Finish me off, if you dare."
